My husband got me this pottery class for Christmas and it was such a fun date night activity for us. I had always wanted to try this and I’m glad we came to Stroke Of Art for our first experience. The owners are really passionate about what they do and made the experience so fun!

Wonderful class, super nice and very informative! They do an awesome job guiding you through the process it's just absolutely amazing!

Didn’t think we would have the time, but got to throw a pot and glaze all in one go! Went together and was such a nice experience! Despite one of our pieces collapsing the teacher led us through the process again and we each got our own piece of art. Fun and novel experience

We had a blast on New Year’s Eve with Lauren as our host - a ton of fun with the family! I have no experience painting and she made the experience incredibly positive and warm.

We came for a family painting event in Christmas season, the Grinch night. We had such so much fun! Took free Grinch pictures, and helped our 4 year old paint a Grinch themed painting. Highly recommended!

I've had the salmon burrito three different times. The first two times were SUPERB and perfect, but tonight, my salmon burrito had barely any sauce and wasabi, which left it pretty bland and tasteless. The tuna and crab burritos I got, however, had the opposite problem and were dripping sauce, which made it feel very heavy and soggy.

I've talked about this place to so many different people because it was quickly becoming my favorite, but now I'm afraid the quality and taste aren't consistent.

Edit: I ordered the salmon burrito again, and thankfully, it was of similar quality to my first orders, which I loved!

We have ordered from here many times and remains one of our favorite local places to get take out from. The maki sushi is fresh, fun and filling! They are so nice and will make any changes to your order you would like. The scallion pancake burritos and sushi burritos are so tasty as well.

Disappointed. I checked the website for hours and online for reviews (great overall). The entrance is around the corner. No sign at all. It was closed. No sign at all. I was expecting a tiny place... That was open. Not a tiny closed place that doesn't communicate.

Had a very bad experience here dealing with the team. LY was looking to host a pop up at this venue and Dee McMaher took all of the money invest and cancel my event the day before. Doing business with him if he’s still at this establishment will have you in rage.

Very nice venue but Dee preys on small business owners that he can take advantage. I’ve notice that a lot of ppl are doing business with them but be very careful who you work with booking events at this location.

A great place to get some work done with the added bonus of banging coffee and food. Definitely added to the list of my favorite coffee spots in Houston!

Adorable place with great views! Has a quaint cottage feel. Their coffee is really good. We had it black and also tried the turmeric milk latte, which was very good. Their breakfast burrito is really big and we were able to get our orders made with gluten-free burritos and toast. Highly recommend.

this place was honestly one of our highlights of our day trip to Mackinac! great service/staff and atmosphere. super cute place and right on the water. the snickerdoodle latte was delicious :)

Most of the reviews seem great, I got sushi and pan fried pork gyoza and nothing was that great. The gyoza were fine if rather bland. The sushi was very mushy, especially the spicy tuna roll. Once upon a time the spicy rolls were actual pieces of tuna with some spicy mayo on top and now it’s just mush inside some rice. The sushi was also very fishy tasting. The spicy shrimp tempura was ok but I got the one topped with spicy tuna. So again had to wipe it off. Altogether this was $40 with tax tip and “fee” for the takeout so absolutely not worth it.

So today, I had some guests of about 15 people from the Reebok team come to meet me at zhou b art center. They came in on the ground level and I spoke with them on the ground level before taking them upstairs to my space. This angry white woman was in another room and on the phone, walked over to us and says to me, "i'm in the middle of a viewing, you need to leave right now. I work here. You need to leave I'm in the middle of something" With the most ugliest and nastiest attitude I've ever experienced. I'm not sure if it was racial but the whole team felt her wrath, not only was there was no one else there but us, we weren't bothering her at all. The whole reebok team felt the same way I did and called her a Karen. Mind you, these are people with all different nationalities, people from london boston etc. They told me how nasty that lady was telling me sorry I had to deal with that. They literally couldn't believe their ears the way this lady approached us. I feel sorry for her and for Zhou B art center employing a woman like that! A literal cancer in your company. I wish I got her name but I know karma is something else! Thank you

The highest of praise to Cheers N Paint Art Studio! I attended the Pet Portrait class. Amber was our instructor. She is an amazing artist. I have zero art skills, but with her guidance and instruction I was able to paint my Doxies and have a wonderful painting I am able to cherish. The studio has a wonderful atmosphere, upbeat vibes and wonderful staff that wants to make your experience a memorable one. Thanks so much for your wonderful studio and lasting memories.

Great coffee and good service! Pop tarts are ok, too sweet for me. The venue is beautiful, the decoration is cute, I recommend it!

Five stars for sure chef Ricky cooked a phenomenal pizza for us but the real mvp was our server Roy within minutes of conversation with Roy we felt like family it's refreshing to meet real people these days. We Will definitely return for the next date night. As long as he is our server.

I needed somewhere to hang out while waiting on my mechanic and found this little gem! It’s so adorable. It has hanging swings with glitter pillows ! Then a beautiful bar with all the espresso! Kratom & Kava you could ever desire ! Loved the vibe & the service is phenomenal. He helped me pick a drink & they had a charger & of course that saved my whole day! I totally recommend 10 out of 10!

A real hidden gem 💎! I needed somewhere to wait while my mechanic fixed my car & this place has the best vibe ever! The bar is so nice & they have the best espresso ☕️ ever ! I totally enjoyed the place 100%!

While the atmosphere is artsy and fun and outdoor seating nice on a cooler evening, I can't speak well on the food. Both my friend and I ordered the Sausage and Broccoli Rabe and had to send it back. The broccoli was so salty and the sausage rather flavorless. I ordered the Sicilian Style Wings instead and unfortunately they were lacking in flavor and had too little salt. The service was great, I just wish the food was better.

Came for Sunday bar trivia as a group of friends in our late 20s (attended during the back to college weekend). Had really good cozy craft beer bar energy. Trivia/bar crowd was fun, not too rowdy. Craft beers had tons of variety, the sours were particularly delicious. Bar also had sangria and ciders as options (no hard alcohol). Prizes for trivia were first and also second place - $30 gift card to the bar and a flight of beers respectively. Overall, great time, great beer. Didn't get any food

This Restaurant is across the street from the hotel we visited. I had steak, husband had the beggars purse and kids had pizza- everything was delicious! We ate inside because it was too hot out. The waiter, Fernando, was the best, very accommodating and the artwork inside was so cool. Very chill place- we will be back again, thanks for a great dinner!

It’s a lovely little cafe on the water and I love the decor and vibes. BUT my smoothie was pretty much water, they blended it for too long and added too much liquid. The food was great though. I’d order the sandwiches again! The seating inside is VERY crowded and I can’t imagine what it’s like on a busy day. It’s a quaint little cafe that’s super cute and I’d recommend stopping by, just hope it’s not busy when you’re there because seating is very limited inside.

Lovely place. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. Nice variety of beers. Tasters were $5 each, so a 4-beer flight was $20. The Prairie Tiny Esses Sour was my favorite. The Rotbier (smoked rauchbier) was different/odd.

Lively haunt with low ceilings, energetic student body vibe, and plenty of brews to choose from. Indoor and outdoor seating. Got the chips and salsa which was good but I can't comment on the food beyond that.

I was super excited to try this place. I came all the way from Canada to try this specialty coffee shop, but what a disappointment.

I wish I had listened to the other reviews regarding customer service. I want to start off by saying that I choose to visit specialty coffee shops over franchises. I have 10 years of coffee experience. I'm a regular at dialing in espresso and cupping.

When I arrived, I let the cashier know that it was my first time, and I'm excited to try this place. He informed me that pastries are 50%off and that the kitchen closes at 3 pm and that I should come earlier next time. It's not exactly welcoming or informative, but I'll go ahead. He didn't inform me that this was a siphon coffee specialty or where the beans come from.

I ordered 2 drinks and 4 food items, and my total plus tip came up to $40. I ordered their siphon, which costs $10. I inquired about beans and whether we can choose which beans we want to be used for our drink. The cashier wasn't able to answer, so he asked the barista. Barista took a bag of beans and said, "This is what we use." It said Mexican single origin. We asked about notes, and he pointed towards the bag. Which said notes of "baker's chocolate, brown sugar and caramel". I was surprised that barista wasn't able to tell us directly. We had to read it ourselves.

When we were called out for our food, I was sitting on the patio. I had 3 trays of food, which I picked up, and the door knob to the patio is a push down handle. I struggled to carry the trays of food and pushed the knob down with my elbow. There was nobody there who helped me or supported me. Despite the counter to pick up food located right in front of the door to the patio.

Then, when the siphon coffee was ready, I watched the barista pour himself coffee that I paid for in an espresso cup to sample and say out loud, "Let me just try it. Yup, it tastes good. " He then helped himself and poured some more. I am super confused. Is this normal practice around here? Does a chef sample your food before serving it to you? I had to carry siphon coffee by myself to the patio with zero assistance. It is boiling hot, and help would have been appreciated.

Once I poured myself a glass, it was obvious that the taste was off. I have had siphon coffee before, and it tasted nothing like this. The coffee was bitter, over extracted, and burnt tasting. It was undrinkable. I asked my friend to try it and she agreed, the taste was off. There weren't any notes of caramel or chocolate.
I went inside to inquire about a change of coffee. It wasn't any better. I went a second time and asked for a refund. It didn't feel right to pay for $10 coffee that I didn't drink or enjoy. When I informed the barista, he said it must have been the beans, and it was a bad batch. Regardless of where the coffee comes from, barista should know how to dial in coffee.

I regret spending money here and tipping when nothing was worth it. The bathrooms are dirty, and the soap dispenser is empty. It doesn't look like they attend to their customers on the patio. Customer service, professionalism, quality, and friendliness are missing. I do not recommend it at all. You can be the judge and see what I paid $40 for.

So much fun! I booked a session for my Mom and I on a whim. Marisela did a great job guiding the class and helping each of us individually make what we were thinking. 10/10 - would go again!

This wa my first time here ana I stayed all day here working and chilling. I love the vibe and ambiance. Drinks are great and will most likely be my office to work and enjoy.

Road to here on my bike from my hotel near Hermann Park. I have to say... this place is really nice... when I arrived, I couldn't find anywhere to lock my bike up. However, they have a spot to put it next to the outdoor seating that is shaded and has fans to keep you cool (even in 100° weather).

When ordering an individual, was in front of me talking to the cashier and saying that they received the wrong order. The cashier apologized, gave them a refund, and gave them the food they ordered and the meal they mistakenly gave them.

When I ordered the cashier, was forthcoming and on point with recommendations. I ordered a cold brew, banana bread, and avocado toast.

In a matter of no less than five minutes, I had my order.

Pros: Great food, customer service, and coffee. Avocado toast had lots of avocado!

Cons: Not much parking or bike rack.

In all, it's an awesome place to chill and get some work done. I would HIGHLY recommend this coffee shop.

Top notch place. Love their food and especially poke bowls. Posting this review because I am very impressed with their customer service. I placed an online order and must have accidentally clicked the wrong protein. I went in and they rectified it and gave me a whole new bowl even though I insisted I paid and it was my fault. Normally I would have eaten it but I really dislike salmon. Very impressed with the customer service as I was already a big fan of the food the couple times I had tried it.

The atmosphere is very chill, which is fitting for a kava bar. But the standout here is the service. Really awesome people working at this place. Very welcoming and knowledgable/informative about botanicals of all kinds. I highly recommend you check out Steep Station.

Kate Dupre created the most wonderful oasis on the planet. The best coffee, the only healthy food on the island, and, to top it off, a great view. Superb ambiance. What a vibe. Get a lilac latte. Soak it up.

My cappuccino was yummy & my son loved his $15.00 fancy hydrogen-whatever-it-was coffee. Lol I must admit, it was the smoothest tasting coffee I’ve ever had. No trace of bitterness. Try it, you’ll love it!

Great coffee, relaxed, comfortable & lively atmosphere . Enjoyed the siphon slow brewed coffee for two and people watched in their outdoor patio area. Also, the el taco grandes are top notch!

Such a fun experience! My friend booked our group of approximately 20 people for a private paint night. We were able to bring our own food and wine and everything else was provided. Lauren was a great teacher and super patient with all of us. She was also super helpful. We spent about 2.5 hours there and left with our new paintings. I would definitely recommend!

I have been coming here for a couple years now. I live here full time and think the kitchen staff is great. On occasion I buy the kitchen a round just to show my appreciation for them.

When asked if the bartender could turn on the 1 of 3 tv's so that I could watch the Florida Panthers game she declined saying that there was an issue last Thursday because the TV was on....

Then I wanted to have a old fashion, and she proceeded to attempt to make an old fashion. I remember from times past that she hasn't a clue nor the resources to make this drink, so I asked for bourbon and gran marnier, to make it easy on her.

Tonight Melissa decided it was a good idea and a good decision on behalf of Art Basil to charge me an astounding 44.00 for 2 drinks. Which includes 13.00 for a shot of bourbon, 6.00 for a shot of gran marnier and a 3.00 upcharge for a "Manhattan" (which was a slice of orange and a cherry).

After ordering my first drink, I asked how much she was charging me and she blew it off and said "I could afford it". After receiving my check I let her know that I was not pleased with the price she charged me for the beverage, she couldn't care less.

So no tv at the bar for the customers, cant make an old fashion to save her life, why would anyone want to be here?????

Lost a customer for life today, if this is how you treat your locals the tourists should beware. There are many places to spend my time and money in around here. I discourage anyone from going here.

I love Steep Station. Since I moved to the Carrollwood area, this place has become synonymous with comfort for me. There is a sense of community here that feels palpable. All of the staff are extremely passionate about their work and always are knowledgeable about teas, kratom, kava, etc. I wish I could take it with me as I prepare to move away from Tampa. Do visit, it is a great place.

Literally the best place i’ve ever eaten at. It’s so small, hardly could find it yet packed full of flavor. I got the fried haddock scallion pancake wrap and it was so good. i am full just eating half of it. My boyfriend got the salmon sushi burrito and he ate that right up. We got the Crab Rangoons as the share item but we ended up sharing it all!!! So good!!

The barrister's customer service skills are severely lacking. When I visited last night, I was met with some of the worst service I have ever experienced. I ordered a simple tea with steamed milk and a double karatom drink. Throughout the entire process, I could hear mumbling and a complete lack of care from the person behind the bar. It was as if I was interrupting their day. As the person was trying to pour hot water, they burned themselves. I could sense their discomfort and asked if they were okay. To my utter disgust, I was met with a sarcastic and disgruntled "yes!" The person then turned their head and ignored me. As a nurse and a human being, I understand that they were in pain, and I was genuinely concerned. However, to be treated as a nuisance rather than a customer was unacceptable.
Additionally, the double karatom drink that I ordered was ungodly thick and undrinkable, making my experience even more unsatisfactory.
Truly Disappointing!

Very tasty coffee with other drink options, also ordered a tea that was good. They had good breakfast tacos and cozy seating. Great place to study or catch up with friends.

First started ordering from here for the sushi burritos, but now our go-to is the bowls which are easier to eat. The online order ahead menu has very good software and it is easy to customize your order. I've always been impressed by the fresh ingredients in the sushi rolls and bowls, but it is also hard for me not to order the Scallion Pancakes every time.

Absolutely delicious. Brought my family here because I wanted to try a sushi burrito and everyone left happy and satisfied. The food and teas were delicious. They even have options if you don’t prefer seafood or meat. I had the (make your own) tofu sushi burrito, and it was probably one of the best things I’ve eaten.

Owner was very nice and gave us a tour.

Hidden gem near MacDougal Street. It's located below the street level, so easily missed my a lot of people passing by and probably that's why we could find an empty table at 9.30 on Friday night.

Good selection of beers. The online menu has ratings as well pulled from one of the most famous beer app called Untappd.

You can also take cards or broad games to play there. Tables are quite big so that you can easily play games.

Everyone's meal was great no complaints, Waitress McKenzie very knowledgeable about the menu very accommodating and pleasant. My husband ordered Veal Franchise said it was one of the best he's eaten, I got the small plate sausage & Broccoli Rabe $10 & a 14inch The Works Pizza and added Ricotta it was to die for that was leftovers last. My adult kids and Grandson ordered Chix Gorgonzla, Chix Parm, and Rigatoni Bolgnese, and their Ching wings for an appt were delicious. Definitely a charming place to dine.

I just ate a salmon burrito here and it honestly was amazing. I am not sure about the last time I ate a quick bite at a place and felt totally satisfied. Great price, FRESH fish, taste was on point and packaging is pretty sleek!

Being born and raised here, I finally decided to stop by and explore this so called 'hidden gem' I would love to say how good of an experience I had with Elliot like the other reviews, however I did not. I did not feel as welcomed as others from the moment I stepped my foot in the door. I was looked down upon and treated very rudely from this entitled man. Such a shame this nice art is by such a mean person. Maybe you will have a better experience than I if you are not a person of color.

I reserved a pottery class at Stroke of Art for my best friend's birthday, and the experience was so fun! Our group of 7 were able to bring drinks, snacks and even decorate the room to make it our own. Ms. V and Ms. Diaz are so great, helpful and really nice! I highly recommend booking a class and I can't wait to come back!

We were there for a grad event. The Zhou B center is a building with arts on all floors. Note that there is a basement floor (which I think has the best art). There are studios on 3rd and 4th floor and artists are there to tour you a bit. But in general I cannot understand most art pieces Lol.

You really can’t beat amazing breakfast on the water. The staff is so sweet, the food is wonderful, and the atmosphere is so beautiful. Best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had, and delicious homemade pop tarts.

A beautiful hidden gem in the heart of the Colombia waterfront. Was biking by and saw the exhibiton and had to stop for a look. The owner, a lovely gentlemen called Elliot Arkin was kind enough to share his motives in its creation and his message. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

The Salvatore Mundi museum is a must visit in Brooklyn. I stopped by with my friends and was pleasantly surprised on how interesting and beautiful it was. Definitely recommend!

I asked for a bathroom and the man there directed me .Clean as a BR can be .But in emergency it’s great to stop in .

Arts&Crafts Beer Parlor Morningside Heights (Uptown) location as well as Arts&Crafts Greenwich Village (Downtown) location are literally two of only a handful of best craft beer bars in all of New York City. If you enjoy really crafty craft beers or just want to explore what Amazing beer is out there, this place is definitely for you!! With that said, they still have wine, and light lagers and pilsners for people who don’t. Their menu is also pretty cool.

We gained a great daughter t'day, the venue was great, very historic building so the acoustics could b a'lil better but what the hell it's a wedding supposed 2 b loud Rite!!! Very attentive staff n the food n drinks were Aw'sum'ness. Highly recommend holding any of your future events here.

This is old school New York conceptual art that I used to love in the 1980s when I first came to the city but has been driven out of Manhattan by rental prices and I didn't realize how much I missed it until I visited this museum.

We were given a tour by the curator and visionary of the museum, Elliott Arkin, who has a fascinating background in art that is self deprecating, intellectual, funny and gently mocking of the artworld. This museum is in the same vein.

He has created a statement about art museums, our obsession with entrepreneurialism and our relationship with the commercial art market. Art and money and money-making are all linked and teased in the same space.

This is classic New York. You need the quirky intellectual passion to pull this off - it's wacky but brilliant. Take the tour if you visit, meeting Elliott is part of the experience.

This museum is an amazing work of conceptual art!! It has such a good aesthetic and it's a really cool place to visit. Highly recommend the cafe also :)

What a great service! Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable about the craft beers, ciders and all they offer. The food is beyond amazing!! Best vegan menu I've ever had, every dish was outstanding, yummy and delicious. I'll go back because I'm craving the food already. 😋 Absolutely cozy and fun fun spot. ❤️❤️❤️

Had such a fun time! Small group of ladies in the class. The instructor was bubbly, gave good direction, and is encouraging! We will definitely be back as if you can make this girl into a painter, anyone can do it!

Went back AGAIN! This time with my niece for open studio and had such a wonderful time! I didnt get a chance to finish mine and was sent home with paint and brushes so that I could! Our instructor did a wonderful job at explaining and giving tips to my 8 year old niece as well!

*ordered on delivery dudes* I ordered a margarita pizza and a Sicilian with pepperoni and meatball. The pepperoni and meatball was really good, nice crunch on the crust and flavorful sauce. The margarita is not what I expected, so I did not like. I also was disappointed in the 7 dollar upcharge on the Sicilian style crust, which was not a bigger sized pizza. I would go back to eat in and order some other items.

Amazing staff... gorgeous food absolutely delightful well-presented, gentle chill atmosphere. Clean Corners relaxing amazing cold AC!! the inside design is actually quite pleasurable everything is sustainable minded and the beers on tap are stunning and rotating constantly. they also have a large array of bottled and canned Originals!

I love sitting in there in my break. Unfortunately I was entering the bathroom and I kept hearing yo yo yo from across the room I look anda guard is telling me that it was closed I told him that they should post a sign of he ain't gonna be standing in front of the door to let people know that it was closed . He said what ever man and mumbled dome F Bombs under his breath .. please can someone fire this guy. Other than that I love going there

A great kava/kratom place. Lot of options and teas are brewed very nicely. Nothing beats happy hour teas. The staff is friendly and any first time users can get all the info they need. A pretty cool cafe to hangout at. Its better than most places in tampa and the prices what you would expect.

This is such a cool art center! The space is pretty much a very open room with various rooms and sculptures lying around the room. The artwork is rotated regularly. The space itself has a warehouse feel. I really like the furniture inside and the overall industrial feel. I’m sure people use this venue for their wedding ceremonies.

It was an amazing experience to attend the third Friday open house at Zhou B Art Center this past week. The five floors of the building are a magnet for artists, collectors and art appreciators. There was so much going on it was hard to take it all in and I can't wait to attend the third Friday in October. I was amazed at the quality and variety of the artwork and it was fun to meet the artists and speak to them about their art.
