Got the vegan power bowl, it was great, the food and atmosphere were awesome. The coffee was okay, and there isn’t much option for parking, but will definitely come back for the food!
I have been coming here for years, it used to be my go-to spot for coffee or a quick bite to eat. While food continues to be delicious, other aspects have lost of their quality over time. My latte order is frequently wrong or tastes differently depending on who made it, tables and chairs aren’t always cleaned up, and the only barista who used to greet you and make a superb Mayan mocha doesn’t seem to work there anymore.
The Root is such a cute little spot! Perfect for a brunch date or getting work done. The food and drinks are top tier. This place means a lot to me and my husband, so we actually stopped here for brunch before our elopement with our photographer and were able to capture some great moments. The staff and customers were great about it. 10/10!

Such a heartwarming energy in here! The food was great and it is a really lovely place to just go and chat with someone. Their menu is extensive in food, drink, and baked goods, so you can never go wrong no matter the time you come. The sweet potatoes were fire, I would definitely recommend. Also… great vegan place too!
Really cool place that serves amazing coffee alongside vegan and vegetarian fare. We loved the vibe and everyone we came into contact with was very nice. They offered some gluten free options along with offering all sorts of milk and dairy alternatives for their beverages.
I’ve came to this location several times and loved it. Came today and got my usual. Waited about 30 mins. The jam was apple sauce with like a spoon of cinnamon. I’ve always gotten a jam that was like a darker purple. Not today. I didn’t get to eat my bread or “jam” the eggs were so dried so I went to grab salt and there is condensation and worm looking things in the salt. Now I don’t get to eat my eggs either. They didn’t have the fries they usually have so I had to get sweet potatoes that I don’t like. Overall I had two bites of my food and couldn’t eat it. There Ice mocha is chocolate milk as well lol
