Wonderful praise group! Loved the sermon and experience.
I like the English mass at this location. And the staff is very helpful.
Stunning architecture, well maintained
Quaker worship is different, spontaneous, and moving.
We were very fortunate in finding this beautiful venue in DC! There are several different event spaces to choose from, both indoor and outdoor. The place is clean and well maintained.
Brian Lutenegger, the manager is very cooperative, communicative and helpful. We are very happy we celebrated our son’s wedding in this awesome place!
We made couple events in this cosy event place, and all was awsome, extra organized staff, flexible management. They are very helpful. Only thing is parking, but I feel it is an issue for entire DC event places.
The most stuningly beautiful church in the Bronx, with solemn, traditional worship and music. They are also very active in helping the immigrant and struggling people of their neighborhood.
Located in the heart of the Belmont (Arthur Ave) section of the Bronx, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel continues with traditional holiday festivities. Inside you will find beautiful architecture and stained glass that has been maintained. Visit the
area and enjoy the events, shop at many of the Italian specialty shops and eat at one of the wonderful restaurants. This neighborhood was depicted in the movie "A Bronx Tale" by Chazz Palminteri. It's close to Fordham University, Bronx Zoo, Bronx Botanical Gardens, Metro North and many other local bus and train routes.
A wonderful community of people and a restorative place to worship in the Quaker tradition.
Where I was baptized many years ago when Bishop Pernicone was a daily figure in the church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and within the community. He had the most clear spiritually connected beautiful blue eyes. I could never forget this man and his love of the church and school. He had an office right in Our Lady of Mount Carmel School. The peace and serenity upon entering this church is unsurpassed with the exception of St Michaels in Manhattan, St. Anthony's of Padua on Sullivan St and Our Lady of Guadalupe on 14th Street. Holy water is available for spiritual cleansing of mind body and soul.

The accessibility to everything makes it perfect for events such as weddings, baptisms, funerals, community events and let's not forget the many movie cast along with food vendors who set up in the basement with massive food serving tables for actors/actresses, extras and all employed on the movie sets of the numerous movies filmed in Little Italy. All food is free...I have gotten much for myself and my dogs prior to vendors packing up for the day.
I was delivering some party rental items yesterday for an event later that day I had never been there before and was only there to do a quick drop off.
On one of my trips in an employee stopped me and said "I know you're working, but we have a lot of leftover food and you're welcome to have some if you like"
The word needs more people like this person and .ore places like this.
Friends Meeting of Washington is an idyllic venue for a DC wedding. It has indoor and outdoor spaces. It has multiple beautiful gardens. The interior is stunning, the location is unmatched and the price point is incredibly fair. We were able to have the perfect wedding here and could not recommend it more. Our venue coordinator, Brian, was absolutely wonderful to work with. He made our lives so easy and was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and problems. He went above and beyond what we expected.
The church has been a part of my family's life for over 70 years!!! Baptism, communion, confirmation, weddings, funerals, etc.
I literally grew up in this church I was baptized had my first holy communion and confirmation. I attended the school and my great grandparents have a pew in their name. I have seen the church go through many changes priests that I knew and loved growing up are either in heaven or other churches.
J’ai eu le plaisir de visiter ces chers compatriotes qui sont aussi des frères et sœurs dans le Seigneur. Leur espace est vraiment attractif et attrayant, je vous encourage à leur visiter.
I needed a location fir a video shoot so I rented their library room for filming and they’ve been super kind , responsive and helpful. Brian is the mvp. We’ll definitely go back there in the future.
This is the coolest place in DC. Very friendly staff who are all smiles and ready give you all the info you need. Their rental space is the most amazing for wedding and any kind of party. Advicing anyone who needs a cool place for a wedding, meeting, party to give them a call.
I did 10 years of volunteer work here with some wonderful people. One of the most meaningful places in Manhattan for me.
One of the most beautiful church interiors in NYC! They’ve done a great job at keeping the artwork clean and up to date.
Great place to worship. Friendly and welcoming, especially to children.
Great place for Pokemon Go. There's a gym and a pokestop. Have found a few shinies here. 10/10 will go again

Most awesome people. Pastor Chris and his family are 100% God centered and Bible believing.
The building at 15 Rutherford Place houses 15th Street and Manhattan Monthly Meetings, as well as the headquarters of. both New York Quarterly and New York Yearly Meeting. Friends Seminary also shares the space.
The oldest Quaker Meeting house in the nation, built for Herbert Hoover with the same materials the original White House was built with. This Friends Meeting is powerful in their Work and Message. Any visitors are always welcomed with open hearts. A fantastic place for Serenity and Worship of the Light. Thank you, Friends!
It is a wonderful organization. I am so thankful for them. I attend Manhattan Mennonite Fellowship. We worship at 5 pm at the Meetinghouse.
