Avoid at all costs due to lack of staff and how most people hold up the line as we have to wait about 15-20 minutes to checkout all because they’re asking such naive questions. Unbelievable, you’re better off going to Best Buy or Target upstairs
Nowhere else better can you pick up your superhero or antihero comic book fix! As well you can pick up some outware and memorabilia that just covers about every single comic book distributor! The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about finding what you need in their shops. Just my quick step up into their shop and you'll be in up to your armpits and awesome comic book and broad media content!
right off of Times Square you have a little magical experience. This is a great place for gifts for all ages ! If you’re a kid at heart then go for it. They have two floors and a great variety
The store is great!!! So many items to choose and not so pricey, compared to resellers selling Disney items. Totally recommend. They have things from 10 dollars to 300. I would like them to have more "adult" things available, such as key chains, scarfs, magnets, mugs, etc.
The Disney store in NYC is no ordinary trip especially with lanterns decoration in the esculators. The items are really cute!! I found a lot if sale items today!! I was really excited to find 25% discount on some t shirts and christmas items. I really encourage all to take scroll around. Be your inner child and juat explore.

Great store for all your nerdy needs! They have a wonderful selection of manga and I was very pleased to find a Rengoku figurine for my daughter who loves Demon Slayer at the moment! The prices are a little high but that has been my experience in New York generally.

What a collection . We were first timers and enjoyed our experience . Staff was very knowledgeable and the selection is amazing . There are stairs to go upstairs but wheelchair or walker users need not fret they do have a working elevator ;)

This place is every kids (& adults) paradise. Off course everything is overly prized and I personally felt not worth the price tags, but that should not stop you from taking a ride to fantasy world of your favourite characters. Luckily I visited on Thanks Giving weekend and there some discounts running.

Stayed in new york for my honeymoon and went to all the comic books shops around but this is definitely the best comic book shop I've ever stepped foot in, Period. They had everything a comic book nerd could want. If your ever in town and you want spend some money, this is the place to go and shout out to a Mr Rob Battle who was an absolute legend to deal with and made my experience here all the better. Love from Ireland boys 🇮🇪

Buyer Beware! I ordered books online and selected the priority international envelope for shipping to Canada. Midtown stuffed 17 comics into a flimsy cardboard envelope loose with no protection. The package arrived damaged. 8 out of 17 books shipped had major corner dings, creases and spine ticks. When I reached out to Midtown, "Victor Von Deny" offered a 25% in store credit towards my next purchase. When I asked to return the damaged books for a refund, he told me I will get nothing because priority international flat rate shipping to Canada for $31.35 USD is "at buyers risk" even though it does not state this anywhere in the checkout process. I filed a dispute through PayPal. PayPal will be investigating this company. I encourage anyone else who has received damaged books from Midtown Comics, as a result of negligence due to poor packaging, to file a PayPal claim. Multiple claims against this company will have them removed from the PayPal platform. I will never buy from this Midtown Comics ever again.
They have a great selection for buying but if you're selling something beware of them trying to get your stuff for cheap by lying. The owner tried to tell me that no one collects pokemon anymore and tried to offer me $1 per holo original pokemon card like snorlax, blastoise, Japanese charizard, and a bunch of others in great condition. Some of the cards I have can go for between $10 at low condition to hundreds of dollars for rare, first edition, good condition variants. So people are definitely still collecting these and the top card went for over $57,000 recently so there is a market. Do your research and know it's probably best not to sell anything that you think may have some value to them as they will most likely tell you a false narrative of market to get your valuable stuff from you for cheap.
Great collection of taxidermy, skeletons and preserved specimens, large and small. Cool antique/medical oddities, as well as spooky-cute posters, candles, knickknacks etc. I really appreciate that they source from ethical places when it comes to specimens, many people don't care or have no idea where their dead things are sourced from.
Midtown Comics Grand Central is the anime and comic store we were searching for in New York. It offers a diverse selection at reasonable prices, making it a fantastic find. The store is well-organized, and the staff is knowledgeable. Whether you're a collector or a newbie, this store is a must-visit for its variety and affordability.
Me and my wife visited the store while we were in New York City and we definitely enjoyed out visit. There are two floors in this store, with an escalator you can take to the second floor. There are a lot of different products spread throughout the two floors. It's a cool store to walk through and look at the different Disney props in the store. Everything in the store looked organized and the place seemed clean as well. Definitely worth visiting if you are a fan of Disney at all.

Great selection of gear here. Ended up leaving with a couple of Spider-Man memorabilia and Dr. Ducki. I do with that had more of the retired cartoons like adventure time and invader Zim, but I love to see the merchandise they had.
Same layout as their other stores in Time Square and Lexington. But each store has different things but all have the newest comics at least the last 3 released issues are available and easy to find. Not a lot of old or golden age comics. Check this place out if in the area. Staff is friendly. BE CAREFUL CROSSING THE STREET.
The store is clean and organized, though some areas are a bit tight to get into and with the flow of constant foot-traffic, it was a bit difficult to move around. In general, the store is worth a visit to see all the product they carry, but nothing really sets this store out from other Disney stores that are far-less congested. I get that this store is directly in TIme's Square and the only thing I am giving it 4 stars for is the expectation that with the amount of people that go in and out, I'd like to see the layout of the store be a bit more open to accomdate the flow of shoppers. It would be very difficult to get strollers in and out of here, especially when the store targets the younger crowd.

Looks like, in the months since I last visited. All of the boxes of comics disappeared, which is a bummer. They still had comic boxes for sale, though, but their stock probably gone by now. There's a whole lot of wrestling figures in stock. Looks like i is going to be exclusively wrestling merch, like figures and other memoriabilia. The amount of wrestling figures would make a wrestling fan weep for joy. I saw some rare looking figures in sealed packaging, wresling POPS, some of them pretty rare. They have a whole section for autographed photos from WWF AEW and TNA, along with some other, smaller wrestling companies. They have packs and individual cards from sports.
Easy access. Friendly staff. There is another store in close proximity to this Gamestop location in case you don't find what you're looking for.
While visiting New York, we stumbled upon Midtown Comics and just had to step inside and look around! Very cool place with a lot of different comics, some books, and other nerdy stuff. The staff was super nice and helpful. I'd definitely go back if I had time!
The store itself is great. My review is for applying to work here. I applied online to work at this store, and then didn't hear anything about my application for about a month. When I finally got an email Aug. 8th, they told me that they "appreciated my patience as they sorted through their owl mail" and to keep my eyes out for an email from them soon about the application. Yet another month has passed, and still nothing. I can't keep sitting around waiting to hear anything about a job that probably isn't worth it. If you don't want to hire someone, or if the positions get filled, let them know. Don't tell me to keep an eye out for an email that is never going to come. 2 months of my time have been wasted now because of this. Thanks for being unprofessional. Definitely not going to even shop here anymore, and I don't care if that's being petty either.

Wrestling Universe had a lot of great items for any wrestling collectors. Great selection of wrestling magazines for sale and lots of cards. If you're looking for the newer figures, it's there! I miss the old place, was more spacious! Would help to have more vintage stuff and a bigger place!
Love anime alot will always buy from yall but a little sad yall don't carry more anime wallets like demon slayer , bleach , or more female characters in general
Cool place lots of raw in sleeve and plastic to choose from. Wrestling seems to be the bread and butter of this location for they have hundreds of figures in original packaging both signed and not signed pieces, and ones that are not packaged seem to appear very good up to mint. If you have stuff they are open to look at it I will not guarantee they buy it but looking at something that's a def. Will say that they come at you with a low ball approach and for the most part it's a nice place with nice staff and I didn't feel like they were trying to rob mrbut the place like all the others have to stay in business and in order to do that they need to turn a profit otherwise it's break even situation and wouldn't make any sense to serve the Public. I had brought some of my least desirable of my collection over to test the waters. 4 cards for 30 is a deal that was met and I thought it was fair and will be back.
And that's only because you can't give zero Stars I purchased an Xbox series s online and it said I can pick it up the next day I went to the Bronx location at gateway center in the female employee that was there was very inappropriate very unprofessional without my consent she canceled my order now I expect every penny and not have the tax taken out and not giving back to I plan to go there tomorrow
Bazaar is rich with macabre treasures for curious minds. Serves as a mini museum if you’re accompanying someone like I was! I’m unfamiliar with taxidermy and insect preservation but a handful of trinkets still caught my eye. Their enamel pins are so stinking cute. Kind and informative staff. My friend exchanged taxidermy tips with an employee and left feeling tremendously inspired.
If you happen to be even a 1% comic book fan, this is a must see place to visit in newyork.

Lovely and borderline spooky shop with tons of taxidermy and art. Excellent spot for gifts, funeral home branded car ice scrapers, preserved butterflies, and vintage last rites travel cases. Excellent curation of offbeat items for any occasion!

Terrible attention. The employee without desire to sell or help in the purchase. derogatory treatment and not being considered in the little command of the language. If it wasn't that I needed to do the shopping, I would have left the place.

Great little oddities shop. More on the tamer side of oddities but with many more affordable display pieces that won't totally freak your family out when they come visit than most. Always worth popping in when in the Baltimore area. Good location off highway if coming from or heading North.
GameStop kirkwood They never answer the phone. Anytime of the day they just let the phone ring. I’m calling to ask a question about a game. I had to call a different GameStop who answered very quickly. Wonder if this is the reason for losing business.
Since I stopped regularly gaming, I haven't been going to gamestop as much as I used to. On a recent shopping excursion. I decided to go in here. They have tons of merchandise, fewer games. I'm a merch type of person so I ended up picking up some Pokemon plushies while i was there. This location used to be my go to GameStop and I've taken part in some midnight release parties here which were fun. Perhaps nostalgia clouds my vision these days but I miss the day where games were all inclusive to the discs and cartridges and you weren't having to pay for additional game content. *just realized that was an ageist comment* Um, I'll just turn around now and leave.😅
I was visiting this store for the first time on March 31st and Sofia and Anna were AMAZING! They had very good customer service and I never saw them without a smile on their face. I didn't get the young man's name but he was great as well. Definitely going back to this store when I'm in town. 😊
This store sucks. Always a bad vibe in there. Guy that opened this morning was cursing up a storm & carrying on about how he hates opening. Not the first time seen this guy acting up. Last time I was there he was being rude to me cause i wouldnt renew my pro membership still had 3 monthes to my membership. So he took the pro magazine out my hands & told me there for people that renew there membership. I think he should be fired. He obviously doesn't have any social skills.
The vendors at this place are great if you really want to support small business shop thru the vendors directly. I was a vendor here from March 2022 until January 2023. During this time I've encountered many bad experiences from my product going missing from my shop room to the owner writing checks late dating them incorrectly and I've even had one bounce that I had to contact him several times to receive payment. I've not received 1099 tax form as it states he will provide in his contract. Ive Contacted this owner many times and it's always a hassle. I dont recommend anyone do business here save yourself the trouble..He also offered to pay me wages of $50 a day cash in exchange for room rental. That comes out to a $5.50 hour wage.. much less than minimum . New vendors beware!!
This was my favourite Midtown Comics in Manhattan. Great variety of products and kind staff. It's close to the Brooklyn bridge in downtown but far from the middle part of Manhattan.

Fantastically freaky, weirdly whimsical, unquestionably unique, curiously creepy, and bizarrely beautiful, Bazaar offers a wide array of art, oddities, wonders and more amidst the streets of the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore. From vintage surgical tools to perfectly curated taxidermy, macabre poster prints to snail shell terrariums, stickers and patches to real human skulls, there’s something for every one to ogle and enjoy. So glad i was finally able to visit and shop in person after years of ordering online. Loved the location, staff was friendly/helpful and everything is really well priced. Will definitely be returning asap!
Their selection of pops is really bad. They don't have many good figures either. They had a Pokémon card pack for regukar price 35 , I come back during the 50% off sale to get it, they marked it up to 50 then with my 5$ coupon it came out to be 35 bucks still.

Nice little comic book store. Don't be fooled by the Superman sign though, you need to walk past that entrance a little bit, enter a door on your right and then go upstairs. Once your inside you'll find a treasure trove of comic book and other pop culture related memorabilia. Staff was friendly.
Employees cheat customers. I have bought games from this GameStop, which constantly put on unnecessary charges without customer permission, i.e., adding a warranty. You have to ask me at least before you spend my money. I do not care if it’s only a dollar, it is a deplorable action and I have called the corporate office about this matter.
I live and work closer to atleast 3 other Gamestops but Mike and his team keep me choosing this one over the others.

Best comic store....ever. Well, not quite but it's very good.
The staff look like they were trained in "The Android's Dungeon" and are suitably knowledge about comic books. The shelves are ordered by character rather than by publisher which makes life a lot easier.

Had to drive out of my way for a Sonic toy. Was so greatful. After calling 6 different Game stops this one had it. The employee held it behind the counter and even had another character waiting with Sonic. We got both. Thank you so much

The clothing here is printed with designs from movies like star wars, marvel, and anime. They also have harry Potter stuff which my girlfriend likes. They also have related games and nic-nacks, like mugs. Great place for t-shirts or gifts.

As someone who buys far too many games, I usually don't hit up GameStop but when I do, I feel like the people working there are really friendly (far better than ~10 years ago!) and they usually have the game I'm looking for. I enjoy the shirt conversations between acid gamers with no pressure, like it used to be. I don't pre-order and they don't nag me or try to hammer me with yodeling anymore. So much better!!!
So many merchandise to look through! I absolutely loved this place. There was a staff member who was so helpful but didn’t catch her name, she did help me place an order online since they didn’t have my size in store. We were all able to find something in store to purchase. Wife bought a Batman backpack, I bought a Mickey Mouse mug. & my son bought an anime figure.
Lots of neat stuff! The staff is super helpful and friendly. It was a bit difficult to see all the products in the store; they have great use of verticality utilizing every inch of the space, which is amazing but we felt a little pressured to move quickly with how busy it was.

Very cool oddities shop. Lots of weird obscure gifts and at a very affordable price. Not a huge shop buy still lots of cool stuff. Great place for postcards as well! Highly recommend.
Never gets old... This is my favorite comic book shop for a while now. A few years ago I brought my son for a treat and ever since it has become a huge treat to get there a few times a year. The selection of comic books, and books on Marvel characters is great!

I always have great experiences visiting this GameStop. Patrick, in particular, is very knowledgeable and has always been super helpful. This is my preferred location despite not being the closest one.

This store is located in Oakridge near the food court. I love the variety in the store. They rotate their selection quite often. One of the sales associates told me that they usually get shipments and it's a surprise to them as well. If you're looking for novelty gifts or graphic tee-shirts, this is the place to find it all with Harry Potter, Disney, TV Shows, Games, Movies, and all other pop culture related themes.
