The people there are not as friendly as they used to be this one girl always gives me the stink eye and she is not very helpful at all I don’t know what her problem is but she needs to build a bridge and get over it cause l can’t handle the disrespect anymore
So much for my first experience at GameStop. I get the 3 consoles, Xbox X and a few PlayStations I want to trade in and buy a PlayStation 5, 3 additional controllers and a half dozen games, and get there about an hour and ten minutes before they close.
They “can’t do trade ins tonight cause they are stacked up” with two employees and maybe one other customer…
But they can do them tomorrow if I want to come back… (but only after 2pm or 6pm unless I call first to check if it’s ok)

The manager Brandon needs to learn that he doesn't treat ppl bad and if he can't handle that he needs to quit. Gives me a used broken controller and lies about me purchasing a new one and says policy changed and he has right to give me used one. Brandon gets mad because I call another store I'm familiar with and asks questions. Brandon says I'm mean but yet Brandon doesn't understand I can ask questions if I want. Brandon needs a different job or a better ego

Went in first thing Wednesday morning and they said they were sold out of an issue that just released that day… I was maybe the fifth customer in the store. How are you sold out of a brand new issue?? If you can’t order the correct amount of copies for an issue, at least have a sizable back issue selections. But their back issues are essentially nonexistent. Lastly, customer service is subpar to say the least.
Don’t order enough new issues to stock shelves, pathetic back issue selection, and unfriendly customer service. Don’t waste your time. There are muuuch better comic shops in Portland/Vancouver

A good selection of all things nerdy! I've picked up and pre-ordered, comics and D&D supplies. The staff are always super friendly and the store is clean. It can get cramped but it's never been too much of an issue.
One of favorite places to go. We go every payday to pick up our newest favorite comics and hunt for buried treasures. The staff is amazing, especially Josh. They handle our quirks beautifully.
Always good to check out new action figures and comics. You'll find a lot of cool stuff you never got as a kid. It will help you live longer.
I hate to do this but, ALL GAMESTOPS SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN. I'm happy to see their stock is doing well but it's quite the conundrum given how they're running their day-to-day business. The stock price doesn't actually reflect your in-store experience. On a Saturday afternoon, I stopped my Best Buy to purchase some gaming accessories. The controller I wanted was there but the gaming headset was not. The closest place with the product I was in search of was at the nearby Gamestop. I purchased said gaming headset and upon using the item it was defective. The microphone would not pick up my audio input. I'm pretty tech-savvy and tried several troubleshooting techniques and was unsuccessful. I decided to return it as the item is defective and is listed on their ridiculous return policy. When I returned the item to the location I purchased it from, I was told that I could not receive a refund although the receipt states that defective items are the only return you can make. After a drawn-out delegation, it turns out that I could return the item but was told multiple times that I could not. I even tried to get store credit and was told the same thing. The reason why I will not return to purchase anything is their return policy clearly shows signs of desperation. You cannot return anything and even if you're within your rights to return it, they will hassle you and tell you no for a minimum of 10mins. I won't return to any gamestop ever. I may however put some money into their stock since it's making good returns.

Me and my family have loved this store for a very long time, me and my 17 year old son went for a day of fun in the old market, he came to be saying he needed to be babysat by someone who is 18 or older in this store while i shopped elsewhere. i feel as though the staff of this store should manage their space and time better to accommodate and watch their customers, rather than making people who are only a year or so older babysit their own customers.
This stores main focus is toys, and other such items, these things are targeted towards a younger demographic, i do not understand why i must babysit my 17 year old son who is turning 18 soon in a store like this.
This is a very disheartening policy, as i know my friends children, who are well mannered mind you, often like to window shop and visit this store.

Warranty’s are worthless, can’t exchange for product I PAID for already. Why GameStop is dying.

I was scammed by the associates that work at this location, I truly don’t recommend you go to this location ever, I purchased a new ps5 controller and a warranty, I went to exchange my controller, and they never put any of my info in the system, and even though they printed my receipt and I had the transaction in my chime account which I showed them, simply because they didn’t put my info in correctly I was refused help, when I asked for the receipt to take it to another location to try and get help, the associate gave me the receipt but ripped off all the info I needed to make my exchange, they also put my address in Oregon, these associates are scammers and GameStop allows them to get away with it, I will be calling corporate and posting reviews every day, so that this never happens to anyone else, do not ever shop at this GameStop, literally scammers work there.

N’Dira was the best. My wife and I are not familiar with gaming at all but wanted to get back into it and she helped us all the way through and made sure we made the best decision! I highly recommend this location. Also the manager was very helpful and funny. Definitely will be coming back!
The pie is to DIE for. When you walk in, you get to pet the Zebra from Zimbabwe which I think is rad. Prices are great too! Selection always proper as well and the staff is really knowledgeable especially Jeff and his love for pumpkin pie. No...I did not have Mushrooms

Got 2 year coverage for a game I’ve wanted for a long time.
Now, this place is overwhelming as there are so many treasures here for everyone. The staff was welcoming, and this place is organized by each room . It's a maze to get thru, and it has antiques throughout the entire store. If you have children, they will fall in love with it. Even men will love it as well. There is so much to choose from and again another locally owned business downtown. Prices were reasonable and really rare items that I've never seen. Now, don't get me wrong, it's like an assortment of new and old something for everyone literally. I love local stores like these as I can always find gifts for friends and Christmas gifts too. Stop in and take a look around it's fun for the family and everyone who enjoys emporiums. 😉 if your downtown this store is a must-see and experience, it's a rarity for sure.
It is tough to describe this place in a simple google review. It is absolutely packed to the gills (on multiple floors) with cool stuff. It feels like a mash up of a vintage antique/thrift shop and novelty goods. There is probably something for everyone in terms of pop culture- old and young. The staff was friendly and laid back. If I worked here and they told me to do inventory, I'd quit. If you're in the area, give yourself some time to walk through this place!

So I stopped in to get a ps5 for my son's bday and an employee by the name of Endira was so kind and pleasant. She offered such great assistance and called around to other stores for me to get the correct item I needed and had them hold it for me. I was so pleased with her help and her niceness. I will Def shop there again. Oh and btw my son was ecstatic with his gift! Lol
It was a walk down memory lane. Everything reminds you of your childhood. The staff is super helpful and attentive and makes sure your items are working before you leave. They get 5 stars (even though you wouldn't sell me your Alien figure! You know who you are...)
A Beaverton landmark. This is such great place to get comic books. The toy selection is definitely geared towards adults, with an impressive selection of hot toys. The toys are somewhat pricey, so kids will struggle to find something to suit their tastes. Glad to find a place that carries Heroclix.
Fun area to shop and eat. Be sure to pay the meter and monitor the time. Meter readers circulate the area constantly and will issue a ticket for 1 minute over.

The definition of a hidden gem. Stopped here with some guys during a trip to hunt for some figures. Was really disappointed with Mall of America, but we came here and our whole day changed. Absolutely amazing deals and a great selection. We all made out with great hauls and we'll definitely try and come back

The game zone is probably one of the best vintage video game stores left in NJ. Constantly good prices, nice people and just plain fun. Would highly recommend this store :)
Really great experience all around. The owner and his staff are always kind to me when I shop here. I traded in some Nintendo Switch games and got a really good trade credit offer to put towards the new Mario Wonder game. Their pokemon card selection is also top notch. Look at this awesome set they had in stock. 🤌

This is a great store to shop at. Owner is super cool. My 5 year old loves to buy Pokemon cards here and he also loves going to trade cards on Friday nights.

Being a person who values quality customer service, as I am a person who provides quality customer service, I was very disappointed with my experiences here. I went two consecutive times because they didn't have something I was looking for and I needed to process a return.
On the first day, the store was closed in the middle of the afternoon. I understand that this sometimes happens as everybody needs a break. I was the only person standing outside waiting for the re-open. Upon entering the store, I was not greeted at all and the person at the front desk didn't speak until I spoke. Their energy was very lackluster and they did not even seem to want my patronage.
The next day I went to process a return. I walked into the store with two team members laughing jovially with another patron. As I continued, the energy shifted drastically. They got quiet and their energy was significantly subdued. They were not as pleasant/welcoming with me after I said I wanted to process a return. I got a condescending response, “Oh, we'll see if that's possible.”
I am a stickler for great quality service. I honor the value of my energy, time and money. This is not a place that I would share my business with ever again. I absolutely love GameStop and I've had many amazing experiences throughout my time being a loyal customer and client to this business for over 15 years. However, this location will never see me nor any one that I would recommend.

I like to try to visit different locations. They all have different things. This particular location is good. Hit or miss. Mostly miss but still ok.
Was in there earlier with my daughter. Dyra answered all of our questions and was super informative and super friendly. I can’t say enough good things about her! She made my daughter very happy with her kindness and going the extra mile! We’ll definitely be visiting this location more often!

Very unique place to look around! There are so many things to see and you can even play old Mario games! It feels like a maze inside which is really interesting and there is a basement to look at too.
I went into the GameStop 3733 E. Broad Street and the lady attendant was the rudest I ever dealt with. I came in smiling and said hi. She gave me the dirtiest look and asked me what do I want, with a puzzle face I just said I’ll take a used Xbox controller. That’s why these places like GameStop don’t get good business from time to time because they hired people who don’t know how to really deal with people. I’m not gonna bring race In the mix because she was white and I was black, and I don’t know if she was having a bad bad day, but I do know when you are in retail and you work with people you don’t treat people like that or they won’t come back and buy your product.
I needed my son’s 3-DS screen fixed, after many failed attempts elsewhere, I was referred by a friend to game zone and came across Andrew who was truly exceptional. This place is full of retro gaming items and is very well maintained, but what makes it stand above most places is the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Throughout the entire process Andrew was a pleasure, excellent communicator and went above and beyond to execute the job. The Nintendo 3-DS was fixed perfectly and for a very reasonable price, a truly great experience. Thank you again

Probably the least organized Gamestop I've been too. None of the games were in order and trying to find anything was almost impossible. Everygame stop I've been to I have been greeted when walking in or shortly there after, I think there were at least 4 employees and not one said a word to me. There were other customer in the store, but no one seemed to be helping them either. I would probably go to a different one of you are able.
Great experience at this location. Only one person was working (Dave), but he did a great job balancing customers. I knew what I was after, and he had me in and out in just a few minutes. Will definitely be back.
"Oh, it's not a game, it's just a display case. We don't actually have it." I'm sorry, a what? Display case? So, you have something that looks exactly like a game, but it isn't. So, why is it on the shelfs? More importantly, why were there TWO of them on the shelves? Also, they don't answer the phone with full staff and empty store. Could've saved me a trip.
The Game Zone is a great independent store for retro and modern video games and other toys and gaming collectible. Their inventory changes regularly, so it is worth going to the store periodically. Lastly, they have a ton of Pokemon merchandise, so if you want Pokemon stuff, go there first.

Bought a PlayStation 4 used and a few days after my 30 day mark none of my controllers would connect and there's nothing they can do because they don't fix PlayStations, and they will but it back but for not enough half the price you paid them for it. So they basically fix used consoles enough to work for a little bit and make their money and you are still stuck with no game still.
My wife and I went into buy a game or two. A customer came in and asked to return a headset that an employee told him would work. The manager refused the return even though his employee told the customer it would work. Lost us as customers too.
If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would!!! Me and my husband use to absolutely adore coming to north side dothan to this game stop! They use to greet us with a smile and a fine “how do you do” but they lacked that today with this one man who was bald and had a beard and tattoos. The moment we opened the door he was extremely rude towards us and gave us short answers when we had questions and in a rude tone at that! He was throwing stuff around too like he didn’t care. If I have to describe his customer service today the only thing he didn’t do is slap me in the face. I have never seen someone care less about their job and whether customers buy or not. His attitude is nothing more than get out the door. Highly do not recommend this place anymore and will not be coming back unless he’s off or fired
Please teach your staff how to process returns so other customers don’t have to waste nearly 20 minutes while a staff member hems and haws and decides they don’t know how to complete the transaction.

Tried to call 3 times to ask if they had a specific game in stock for my holiday shopping. I got placed on hold an eventually hung up on every single time. Which is wild because everyday I pass this store while going to/from work an the store is empty y'all can't be that busy to hang up on me 3 times.
Awesome store, awesome staff. I found this place just walking by while visiting Omaha. The gentleman who owns the business gave me an awesome deal on a set of action figures from the movie Clash of the Titans. I had not seen the figures since the 80s and felt compelled to buy at least one. He thought that the two should go together so he gave me a fair and decent price. I was stoked. If I make it back that way, I hope that my sons can check it out, they would be blown away.

I bought a controller that is not compatible with my computer and now they will not let me do a simple return. A 2nd coustmer decides to get involved after about to leave disgruntled. However the coustmer response is that he has family who works there and he kept following me.
I called out to the manager to call the cops. The short brown hair manager just watched and did nothing while the coustmer was going to attack me.. they will just sit back and watch.

I’m not sure if this individual is experiencing burn out or just hates their job now. But this is not acceptable to treat anyone like that and make them feel unwelcome. To This individual I hope you find a new job that can make you happy and expresses yourself but this isn’t the place for you .

Every time I go there they are so helpful and kind. They also have lots of stuff to pick from.
This shop is my go to place when I am looking for a unique gift or need a one of a kind hand-painted furniture piece for my home. The quality is top-notch, and there is always something new. I am not a DIYer, but fascinated with the selection of chalk paints and artist materials at one of the booths of this shop. Happy to support the eco-friendly business that promotes upcycling
Very disappointing. Not much furniture (or at least appealing furniture.) Space was very run-down and I was on the verge of asthma attack but I guess that's to be expected in antique shops. Overall, mostly kitschy knick knacks like lawn gnomes and ash trays. Also, no one to help me. I was disappointed because I love upcycled furniture and there's not much of it on Antique Row. Maybe I came in a bad day. I believe they had a storefront on Connecticut Ave briefly and it was much better curated and have some great pieces. Maybe I missed something.
This is a hidden gem in the Twin Cities. This place is huge and filled from ceiling to floor with so much product. You have to take a couple hours to really enjoy the store as a whole. They have so much to offer and its going to take time to get through it all or majority of it. But let me tell you about this stores greatest asset. Its the staff! They made me feel welcomed and super comfortable to take it all in. Usually I catch awkward vibes and side eyes from people when i'm enjoying a hobby of mine in comic book stores but this stores staff were phenomenal at creating a culture of invitation. I will be back just to continue the conversation we were having. This location gives you a feel of old neighborhood, everybody knows/wants to know your name type of places. The atmosphere makes it easy for you to make friends and bond over amazing things the store has to offer. Please visit this place and let me know what you think!
Great spot, knowledgeable staff. HUGE problem with closing randomly. At least 5 of my last 10 trips they've have a "be back shortly" sign on the door, which usually means about 45 minutes. Call ahead and tell them your on your way seems to be the surefire way to get them to stay. If able, just shop somewhere else.
I rarely write on-line reviews, but I must make an exception for Joyful Heart Reclaimed. The harder-to-find vintage Pyrex casserole set I ordered arrived promptly and in the excellent vintage condition described in the post. Janna was great about answering all my questions. She did a superb job packing these items with care, and at a reasonable rate. I have no doubt that I will be shopping here again!
Love this store! Even though the Milwaukie store, in my opinion, will always be the best TfaW store and no bookstore will ever surpass Powell's on Cedar Hills and Burnside for me, this store had great merchandise, and a large selection of comics, graphic novels, and manga. It even got me into the Unnatural and 3keys series, as well as help me discover Cat Massage Therapy and Stray dogs. Highly recommend for Beaverton locals into pop culture including comic culture, plus, the staff were nice, and the website, despite some issues, is up-to-date for those willing to buy for in-store pickup.
This was the only Gamestop left this past weekend that had PS5 in stock! I forget the associates name that helped me (short blue hair) but we had a great conversation with their recommended games to get on the PS5 system and had all the answers to my questions. The associate was also very considerate about personal pronouns!

I ordered a set of Pyrex Dishes and the set is beautiful. It was packaged with alot of care to insure it arriving all in one piece. I dealt with Janna and she is an angel to deal with. The product description was spot on
Don’t come here before close maybe even 20 minutes before close if you don’t want to be sold anything they just lock up as your walking up. Yes I did arrive a few minutes before close and it takes a minute or two walk around to the walkway as there is no direct path to your store they locked the door as I’m walking up, I knock and they said it’s 8 and that they’re closed but when I looked at my phone it said 7:58 at the front door I told them that but they still said they’re closed but you’re not a restaurant that has to make food or anything of the sorts you don’t have to stay an hour after to do a deep clean maybe some 10 minute vacuuming some slight stocking and dusting and wiped down the two registers you have but nothing that would require to close earlier and prevent a sale especially seeing a customer park and walk up. All you would have had to do is take my card and hand me the game I wanted, no labor involved. But if you wanna close at 7:58 or earlier then maybe put that as your hours not 8 o’clock. As someone who has worked retail it’s a simple and easy task to perform to make an extra sale before close.
Decent store, very small compared to Enterprise or even S Oates. When you go in and all of a sudden a full Saturday crowd rolls in, good luck getting out trying to navigate through the store. Also, the hours are kind of sad for a GameStop. Open late and close early.
Kristi, is AWESOME 👌. She taught us all about Kirby+ the new Batman and she is super informative and professional. Even when the lines are long and stuff gets intense she delivers incredible customer service. As a stock-holder...Mgmt give this employee a raise!! Store is always clean and well stocked.
I'd give 0 star if I could. This morning they released 4 PS5 bundles. My son was #4 in line so the last bundle should have been his. The email he got yesterday afternoon clearly stated, only 1 bundle per party. So explain to me how party #3 was allowed to purchase 2 bundles. My son spends hundreds of dollars in that store but he won't now and I'll guarantee all his gamer friends won't either.
The gentleman was to busy talking trash about customers to his co worker to care about asking if someone needed assistance. An talking about how people need rent money is the only reason they bring their used items into the store. Who wants to deal with people like that?!? All I needed was Pokémon cards for my kid.. I just wanted to be in an out an instead got to hear his down grades regarding customers.. Walmart is a better choice people!!
I bought a new copy of an xbox series x game. They sold me the display copy which of course was open and the disk wouldn't work. I go back the very next day and they refused to give me a refund but suggested 8$ for trade in value for a game I just paid $60 for. This is why game stop is going out of business.
I like to collect banpresto and ichibansho anime figurines and when i found this place recently here in beaverton, i made it my go to place every 2 weeks to check for new stock of these figures. Good staff, good selections on a bunch of other figures and comics. Awesome spot!
Brian did so much to help us with everything we needed help with. At the end of the visit we were extremely happy with the service, friendliness and welcoming attitude we received. We just moved to the area so it's awesome to know we found a good local store.
First impression of this place. AMAZING. This store will make the kid at heart very happy. They have stuff for everyone. Great selection and the guys working were very helpful and knowledgeable as well. Your first trip in will be over whelming and better plan some time to just look around.
I’ve visited many different stores in several different states and this GameStop at Brunswick has by far the best customer service I’ve had. Kyle, Will and Le’ Shante are great associates, very professional and friendly. Eager and ready to help and very welcoming. They do go far and beyond to help their customers. Highly recommend this store for all your tech and gaming needs.
The shop is located within Kensington’s antique village which makes it extra appealing because you can browse all of the other local artists and vendors. This shop in particular is upstairs and is such a bright, colorful space. Definitely recommend a visit!
Staff is very friendly.. been watching my grandson for a couple months because of covid and almost every day he wants to go to GameStop for a little something very helpful he's 9 years old so he wants to touch everything he's not allowed to so I don't let him but the staff is great and he usually comes in with change she gets from his family members from his "swear jar".. not for me of course but he enjoys it and that's nice he calls the workers his friends he's 9 years old

Great!! Was my first time inside a Game Stop ( video game store period) Will definitely be back and recommend Employee was very Nice, friendly, professional and helpful. My 5 and 6 year olds were being normal kids. He did not care treated them like anyone Els even when my son would knock everything over.
I move around too much to want to spend a lot of money on furniture, but I can't bring myself to go to Ikea again.
Joyful Heart Reclaimed had a lovely used kitchen table that would fit in my small apartment for a reasonable price. They very kindly disassembled it for me and figured out how to load it into my small car, and now I have kitchen table that's old and wooden and has character that was sold by people who care.

Our 11 year old son & we as parents, always enjoy our shopping trips here. The staff is exceptional & always highly informative with any questions or concerns we might have. My favorite thing is when checking out with video games and depending on the rating & if it's rated for an older, more mature person than what our kids appear to be, than they are very quick to inform us parents on the rating and a detailed breakdown of what the video game actually entails of.

We always get great deals from this location! One of these were only $4! Not to mention they have tons of little figurines and toys that caught my 5 yr old son's attention. Customer service here is good
