What a blessing to work at and have my children attend this school! The teachers are like a family and the effort they put into the student’s education is exceptional. Very exciting to see the journey the school has been on and the direction it is going. Highly recommend to anyone infants through high school!

Not what it used to be. Sad to say this. You can pin point some AMAZING staff members... And you can start talking about the ones that are not amazing at all. The ones that take side, have favoritism, treat the non-favorite kids with a bad attitude, don't let them express their concerns, treat them differently and with indifference, ignore them. The ones that have a picture in the board with some of the classmates (not the whole class). You can also sense the difference. Some parents are ignored, some are glorified. The difference when there's a concern about your child being bullied, and nothing is done for the child in need. The child that assumes finishing the school year under survival mode - yes, survival mode. Horrible to see the back of the "school leader" at drop-off, because he's "sick and tired" of your questions about what's going to be done for your child. And when I say the "back" I mean the actual back... Turning towards the glass window to don't face you, not even for a good morning, while you tell your child "everything is going to be okey today, be strong, you can do this!". Unbelievable to notice that your kid had been bullied and you don't know until you pick them up from school, because they didn't even call you to report that something happened. When you realize that a report had not been completed to avoid paper trail. And when you demand for answers and you don't get them, The school used to be amazing... What happened? I don't know if money comes first, or if some of the faculty have "better priorities that the kids" Most certainly something happened along the way. Some kids are not there anymore, some are. But the fact that all the wrong things are not spoken out loud, has a lot to say too. Everything is told behind curtains. The parents' concerns are told in soft voice, many times due to fear of repercussion to our own kids. That's not right, that's not normal. That's not what normal should look like. I wish my child could have graduated from High School at this school, but my love from my kid comes before anything else. My kid comes first. My child safety comes first. My child psychological health comes first. And my child physical health comes first too. I could not handle one more hit (verbal and physical) - Enough is enough. I know I am not the only parent that went through this, but many don't speak up, God knows why. But I did, and I'll continue to speak up for my child, without being afraid, because I know who is right and who is wrong in this situation. I know who fail, and who survived. Bullying is not OK. Is not right, and needs to be a priority for every school. No school should side with the aggressor. Schools should be a safe place where as parents, you have the piece of mind that your kid is fine, learning and doing what a kid is meant to do at a school- Leaning! That's another subject of this review (or the lack of it) This school has so much more room for improvement. I hope they get there, or they go back to be what they used to be. I truly do hope for the best for them. There are always key elements, and the fact that is a pretty - well taken care of building - clean - with ne bathrooms and structures - with lots of chickens and goats - and fruits and vegetables - with vegetarian lunches and snacks - and a pretty playground, basketball court, and track field - don't necessarily covers everything. Sometimes a little less, is so much more (at least for me - talking about my experience only here). I pray for the kids that are there, and I pray for the faculty to reflect on the priorities overall. I pray for no kid to go through what we went through (anywhere). *disclaimer: our experience not necessarily reflects every kid's experience, don't assume this review will reflect your future, should you decide to join the school. is always good to try things for yourself, no matter the outcome other humans went through. What's good for some is bad for others and viseversa

This is a wonderful school!! My daughter has learned so much in just a few months of starting at this school! In addition, the teachers and the staff are very attentive.

Went there for elementary school and the students that I met are friendly and approachable. Would love to visit the campus again one day.

We went on a tour of Chrysler Dimmer Catholic school and it was absolutely amazing and it was just amazing and we decided to go and put our kids there so I highly recommend that you send your kids to Christ redeemer Catholic school everything that was just going on from the art room to the music room to the Spanish room to the to the classrooms was just awesome it was like something that they were doing was about Jesus like once we went into the art room and they were making crosses how amazing is this school I love it so much and we just decided to send her students there it’s amazing so highly recommend it go and look at the schedule at work today because it is amazing everything they do when they come home they always say guess what happened today and it’s just amazing to have your kids come home and teach you something new especially if you did not learn that in school already they can teach you like you learn something new every day especially these little bitty kids and it is open Genesis through eighth grade but at the same time it’s opened with KC to eighth grade so it’s awesome but at the same time you can just keep going because the school is amazing but go to Genesis and then go onto eighth grade! And every time they come home my kids they say that they got a good grade on tests because they learn and they pay attention The teacher say that it is very hard to pick an inspired learner so I hope you go to Christ redeemer and enjoy it, our kids go to church every single Wednesday and then they force us to go to church every single Sunday, father makes us laugh and gives us a kids version homily hope you enjoy and have a good day💜❤️

If you are located anywhere even near Christ the Redeemer Catholic School- you owe it to your family to schedule a visit. From leadership, to faculty, to the groundskeepers, everyone you encounter is welcoming and eager to serve. Books in hand and smiles on students faces throughout the halls and classrooms! You can tell just by one visit something special is going on inside. I highly recommend!!

Best school for my child with special needs. Good staff communication with parents and teachers. The guards are just as cearing clean full of activities.

A WONDERFUL INSTITUTION

awesome I just moved ther

I love it Great Education

This is the best school in the city

I have been so impressed with the quality of the teacher and administrators at Basis. The academics are challenging, but I have never seen my daughter more enthusiastic about learning. The teachers go above and beyond to make sure the children understand the material. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the education and culture at the school.

Para Mi Es Una De Las Mejoress Escuela Mis Hijo An Crecido En DC Bilingual Que Dios Bendiga A Todos Los Maestros

Excellent school.

i was a dcb too

it's a great school, but theres way to much homework and pressure!

My kids love the school, they learn lots of different topics, not just math and science. They enjoy going to school. When they are happy, i am happy. I have to admit that there are some operational challenges since school is new but they are constantly improving.

Best decision for our son. He is happy and confident and his love of learning continues to flourish here!

My son goes it's amazing school

(Most) teachers are decent and know what they are doing. The administration in its first year was bad, but has improved this 2nd year. Basis organizes programs that are helpful for all of the students such as the peer tutoring program. They schedule tests in a way that you don't get more than two or three in a day. There is no drama. No one bullies each other and everyone gets along (for the high school at least). There are also no drug or alcohol problems in the school. They really do listen to the students and give the high schoolers much freedom (we can go off campus during lunch). Some may hate Basis and I understand why, but Basis is a school for those who want to succeed. ~student graduating in 2020.

My friend Takumi Baohua goes here and likes this school ! I visit this school and school is lovely

This school does not follow the BASIS model and is nothing like the founding BASIS schools in Arizona. It caters to parent bullying and is emotionally destructive to young children.

This is a wonderful school so far. My 5 month old is loving every minute. The environment is invigorating and he's being introduced to so many different activities (e.g. Spanish, Music) on a daily basis. They also have an app which allows me to see pictures and receive updates throughout the day. I highly recommend this place.

Im very pleased with this school. My daughter loves it! Its very small and family orientated.

Both of our children graduated from River East, 2007-2017. Their critical thinking, quick wits and activist demenors are owed to the outstanding, dedicated teachers and staff. I will miss the sense of community and friendly environment. it paved the path for our children to take on any project and express their ideas with confidence. We are eternally grateful.

This is the hardest school Ever. You do homework everyday until 10:30 or usually 11. This school knows nothing other than academics. the playground is a concrete parking lot with one basketball hoop. their indoor basketball court is extremely small and the courts are made of rubber not wood! i do not get enough free time. because i am to busy for studying for multiple tests. Because 7th graders or even 6th graders and up have 9 subjects we have so many tests. There is also only one elective! this school does not have an orchestra or band. well actually it does but it counts as an after school activity! The teachers and academics are great, but other than studying there isn't really anything else.

This school made me regret everything. I would give it a zero if I could. I honestly hate this school more than everything. They give way too much Homework and introduce concepts that we shouldn't actually learn until highschool. I know that may seem like a good thing but if we change schools then we will be bored in actual highschool when we are supposed to learn. Not to mention it gets very irritating at a point having to take physics, chemistry, and bio.

River East Elementary, a non-zone half traditional, half progressive school, turned out to be such a gem for our 6 years old son. He has been truly supported by his teachers and by our new Principal, Mr. Panetta. Both teachers and Mr. Panetta truly care about our kids, each other and parents. My son was doing so well, he was able to skip a grade and being that he tested on 4th grade level math, being now in 2nd grade (instead of 1st), he has been able to attend 4th grade level classes. He truly loved his kindegarden teacher, Ms. Margaret, and now his 2nd grade teachers, Ms. Lisa and Ms. Eileen. He enjoys his chorus, music, art and science classes. The education in River East Elementary is both traditional and progressive. They offer many hand-on learning opportunities where kids utilize their knowledge, imagination and build models for communities, eco-systems or governmental bodies. We feel very fortunate to be part of this community. It's a very safe and loving environment. Have asked about the reviews below and apparently a teacher hitting someone is not even about our school so please do not get discouraged. I highly recommend joining us!

I worked there in the '90's in the security department. It's a school for gifted kids. One of the things that stand out, frommy many memories of that great learning institution, was that I remember seeing kids in third grade doing algebra !! ALGEBRA IN THiRD GRADE !!?? Unheard of in my book! Anyway, other than that I remember how laid back the atmosphere was. Kids sitting on the floors throughout the building. We weren't allowed to say anything to them about that. I got to know a number of kids during my tenure there. Kids from grades 1- through-8. ,!! Very smart & funny!! Seventh graders doing calculus !! Just goes to you.... Master the possibilities !!

I took the entrance exam for this school. I heard that you can go out for lunch and you can be 20 minutes late. I think this school is an excellent school.

Very nice, peacefull, quiet school with great PTA and cooperative teachers. We serve them for many years and they really care for their student getting best service form our School Photo Company and their parents to be happy with packages they received. Never pushed us for highest comissions- always asked for the highest quality. Great school

We have had a fabulous experience with BASIS Independent McLean. Our son couldn't be happier socially and is blossoming in an accelerated and supportive learning environment. The teachers are highly motivated, care deeply about his success and share an enthusiasm for learning that is infectious. The administration is the most professional team I've ever seen within an academic institution and has been extraordinarily responsive to our requests. We couldn't be more satisfied with our choice and look forward to watching our son develop in this unique program.

starts off easy, but the stress only increases. heavily focused on analytical and structured writing, especially history :( about 200 kids per grade so i literally know everyone's first and last name. it's the last quarter of sophomore year and i am absolutely dying but i can say that i'll miss this school when i graduate :')

great education

This school administration is unorganized and very careless. The principal Mr. Caitlin is very sarcastic and does not make it his point to hear out the parents. He does not care to resolve issues at the school, such as bullying. When faced with an issue the kids are confronted by staff causing intimidation which is inappropriate. The principals nonchalant attitude makes it nearly impossible to even communicate with the school regarding staff and issues your child may face. The school does not offer extra curricular activities in comparison to other schools in the community. STAY AWAY from this school unless you are okay with dealing with an unprofessional environment and lack of communication between staff and families.

One of the best child cares overall in Florida, professionnal staff, nice schedules, clean facilities, outstanding personnel and beautiful playground.... CKV~ 5*****

Good stuff

KSP provides a great mix of academic rigor with music enrichment. Great teachers, high parent involvement and overall an excellent school!

I've been at KIPP STRIVE Primary now 3 years. My 2nd grader is a founding student and I have a kindergartener there now. I have loved ALL 4 of my 2nd graders teachers over the last 3 years and love my Kindergarteners 2 teachers Mr Roland and Ms McCune. I LOVE the whole staff of KSP which all begins with the best Principal in Atlanta, Mrs Shaheed along with her Deans Ms Ramdhanie and Ms Mair. They have a wonderful music program led by Mr. Adam Bursh. I can go all day and list names of the wonderful staff but as the school grows a grade per year over the next 2 years, they'll be more great staff to come. I LOVE THIS SCHOOL !!!!

This is a school of smart people and an excellent chance for people to learn in a good environment. But of course, one needs to pass the hunter exam.

Hi I love the school, my son likes it to and he has been there since he was a little baby. This is his ninth
year at the school and currently in fourth grade and about to go to fifth grade. He has made lots and lots
of friends and every year he makes a new friend. They have classes of Spanish and English. I in Spanish they learn reading and writing and science. I in English they learn math and writing and reading.

This is the best school. People who go here are smart. They have good grades. if you want to go to a good school get better grades

Rich in culture KSP is a wonderful school that provides academic rigor and enrichment in a safe and loving environment. The teachers are all very energetic and creative as they engage students with various tools of instruction. We love our daughter's first grade teacher Mr. Fairbanks and Ms. Currie. They consistently challenge her to do her best through structure and lots of love. Though it is an extended school day, 7:30-4:45pm, students get all the things that have been removed from most public schools like art, music, and recess.
We are very happy we chose KIPP for our daughter and our family is very proud to be part of this school community.

My daughter's experience has been amazing with CAPCS-Amos 2. Since the first day, she has been excited about going to school, learning and making new friends. Already, she's counting in Spanish, beginning to read and everyday, she is surprising me with the new things she's learning. I approve of the Reggio-inspired program at CAPCS-Amos 2 and even though I did not really understand the fundamentals initially, it works! The teachers, staff and extraordinary program have exceeded my expectations. In addition, the school always keeps the parents informed through phone calls, text messages and a large digital board near the entrance of the school. I plan to enroll my youngest child there next year.
