If you have never attended a symphony you will find a joy you never knew you could have. Watching and hearing the different sounds from horns to violins to strings and drums. Oh, and the percussionist who play so many different instruments and in one song will go back and forth to 2vor 3 or even 4 different instruments. It's amazing, joyful, exciting and just amazing. This is one of the best groups I've heard. Worth the listen. Give it a try. I can't explain well enough you how awesome they are.

What a joy it is to have such a great Symphony located in North Port! Maestro Robert Romanski has really grown a professional and capable group from mostly local artists. Their concerts are well worth the time and money to attend.

My husband and I were on a Hollywood tour so we had a limited amount of time to see the Dolby theater. Course during the morning it isn't open for performances but I was truly blown away as we walked the stairs to see how the columns were engraved with the best picture winners from the beginning. In case you are wondering about the more recent winners they are on the other side of these same columns as you make your way down.

It's hard to believe this is the place they host the Academy Awards. It is part of the Ovation mall where you can shop, get something to eat and of course sneak a peek at the Hollywood sign out on the terrace. Note: guided tours are available.

I'm sure this theater would be spectacular on the inside and would be great to see a performance there. Nevertheless, I was thrilled to at least see part of it and will have a better understanding of what it is like with all the celebrities on Oscar night. Located on Hollywood Blvd Walk of Fame near the Chinese theater.

During my Hollywood Walk of Fame got a chance to visit this world famous theatre. The Glory of the theatre and Museum is magnificent. Dolby Theater, the venue for the Oscars, itself so fascinating. When you cross the famous ladders , you actually feel that you have won the OSCARs J Iconic! Imposing and Incredible… this theatre surely will give you thrill to anyone. You actually imagine and goes to flashback of so many movies reading their names on the pillar . Goosebumps for sure. This experience will be forever remain in your heart. You will actually remember it whenever you will see OSCAR awards. Oh this is the place, I have been to . How Nice and exciting.

If you like movies, if you have enjoyed the Oscars years after years, and you are in Los Angeles… the Dolby (Kodak) Theater have to be in your bucket list! I must recommends.

We were lucky enough to be accommodated on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during our stay. That's why we walked down this long street full of world-famous stars many times. There we visited the film museum, attended a performance at the Chinese Theater and, with great luck, won tickets for a guided tour of the Dolby Theater, the venue for the Oscars. This was the last year the theater was still called the Kodak Theater. It was closed for almost the whole of July. We went to Las Vegas for a few days and the day we came back it "miraculously" opened. We had a small group guided tour. It was truly a special and unforgettable experience.

I gave it a 2 star. The theater is huge and beautiful but not safe. I just watched ONE PIECE CONCERT, I'm sitting on mez3 row D. 1st thing I noticed is the spaces/walkway per rows are very narrow and no barrier or atleast some kind of holding rods. Ok, so that kinda scary for me already, good thing my seat is not to far. Anyways, other ppl passing by are also saying the same thing, " wow so narrow". Alright, so concert started.. amazing and beautiful concert!, sometime after the 15 min break was over and concert resumes, lights were turned off except the stage lights, there was this guy all of the sudden tumbling from our row D, down to row C, right in front of me.. OMG! SCARED THE HECK OUT OF ME!. Ppl on C row were also shock on this incident. Thank goodness the guy is ok, i think. Anyways, my point is... that place is unsafe.

I watched 👀 the “Hairspray 💇🏻‍♀️ ✂️” musical 🎶 just last week at the Dolby Theater 🎭 and it was amazing 🤩😍! I ❤️ the ambiance ✨ of the theater, even though I have to admit that it looks a lot simpler in person compared to how glamorous 🌟 it looks on TV 📺 when big awards ceremonies 💫, like the Oscars 🏆 this year, have been hosted there 🙂!

I ❤️ everything about watching my very first musical 🎶 at the Dolby 🎭 😃! Overall, it is pretty easy and straightforward to get to on the weekdays. But I would imagine that it might.m be much more hectic on the weekends. I opted to come and watch the musical on a weekday, just for better ticket pricing 🎫, especially since I wanted to sit in the orchestra section for a change 😁!

“Hairspray 💇🏻‍♀️ ✂️” was absolutely amazing 🤩😍!! And it brought back wonderful memories of the movie musical 🎥 🍿 🎶 that came out in 2007 😄!!

I even treated myself to the signature Corny Collins’ cocktail 🍸 😋!

The entire ambiance ✨ and the inside elegance 😍 of the Dolby 🎭 made this such a memorable and fun 🤩 experience!

The only thing I think 🤔 could be better is if the Dolby would be willing to validate parking for people who see shows or attend events at their venue. There are restaurants and a movie theater 🎥 🍿 (in the same complex as the Dolby) that validates parking so you only have to pay a certain amount for parking. But the Dolby doesn’t validate 🤷‍♀️. So if you park in that shopping center 🛍️ parking structure, you just have to prepare to pay $6 per hour, with a total max of $20.

We've been here before, but it's always a pleasure to come back.

I’m such a fan of Voza Rivers’ work … always so generous with his knowledge, his time and resources. His organization is such an important part of Black Theater, Harlem Culture, and the African American Experience. I’m honored to join HARLEM ARTS ALLIANCE and become a part of this vital and important organization.

Please indulge me as I attempt to verbally applaud the pleasure we had in attending the North Port Symphony, "America the Beautiful" concert yesterday. We made the trek from the Tampa area in support of a family member who was playing with them and were pleasantly surprised by the entertaining and enjoyable experience that will definitely bring us back for more! The passionate and talented orchestra members do a stellar job of putting the music score into a crowd pleasing event, under the expert conducting of the remarkable Robert Romanski. He was enlightening with a touch of clever humor as he guided the expectant audience through the well chosen variety of "made in the U.S." music. Speaking of audience, their support, enthusiasm and friendliness made for a great vibe from start to finish. Every facet of a compelling concert was in play here. North Port Symphony is a rising star in the now over 1500 community orchestras in our country. Make haste to check them out for yourself and see them do what they do so well, "For the Love of Music !"

We appreciate the music, the talent and the hours of practice the musicians dedicate to their instruments. If the composers wanted us to hear kids crying and fussing during a performance, they would have written it into the score. Lose the kids!

A great state to explore for any reason, from coast to mountains. The skiing is fantastic in the winter, and the hiking is equally great in the summer. If you love photography, as I have since I was a teenager, there is no end to the possibilities. Just a great part of the country any time of the year. Jim W.

My first show there. Very pleasant experience. The staff there is great. I'd love to work there again sometime in the future.

I am 5'10" and my knees didn't even brush the seat in front of me, which is the only thing I care about in theaters.

I am also a women's size 16, and fit very comfortably in the seats, which have fixed arm rests.

Off Broadway house where every seat is a great one. Staging let's the audience be up close and personal with the characters. Intimate seating for 65. Elevator building made accessibility to the theatre a smoothe transition for ADA patrons.

Fantastic & informative science, history and more kinds of shows than you can think of! Well produced and fun and often interactive too! Very intimate theater makes you feel like you are part of it all and sweet staff! See all their things, you will not be disappointed!

Lovely little theatre with kind and helpful staff. We saw both That Physics Show and That Chemistry Show and thoroughly enjoyed both (minus the know-it-alls who kept interrupting the show). The only reason for four stars is the restroom facilities

Small, so close to the stage even in the back. Easy to get to. The shows we saw started exactly on time, and included audience participation. No photos during the shows. The children enjoyed them but didn't remember the science. We saw, That Chemistry Show, and That Physics Show. The pamphlet provided a table of contents for each show, so that was helpful. Small, clean bathrooms. Pleasant greeter.

RESTROOMS ARE CLEAN AND SO IS THE THEATER.
A LITTLE EXTRA TIME IN YOUR TRAVEL SHOULD BE ADDED TO YOUR ITINERARY DUE TO ALL THE TOURISTS BETWEEN 42ND STREET SUBWAY STATION AND HERE.

I saw "That Physics Show" at the Playroom Theater and would rate the experience a 10/10. Its a small no frills venue where every seat gets the front row experience. . My favorite part about this theater is that the very nature of its design has a way of ONLY attracting top notch performers and events because there's nothing hide behind. That Physics Show was great because it was a raw space where children and adults could enjoy watching things burn, explode, fly and smash :-)

Amazing facilities for rehearsals, music practice. As well as a wide variety of Music Theatre related classes for children of almost all ages!

Beautiful place and the music was wonderful! Plenty of parking.

Amazing director and high level caliber of performances by the musicians every concert! The soloist are always consistently exceptional! So much fun and entertaining are the concerts you don't want to miss a single one! Buy your tickets before the sell out... they tend to do so these days!
