The staff was amazing, It was our first time and they made it so easy and great. The pilot was great as well, very informative about other attractions in the area, made us feel at ease and just an over all amazing trip. Will def be doing it again and again and spreading the word to family and friends.

We flew the deluxe path with a pilot named Jessica this weekend and she was wonderful! She paid close attention to safety and communication, while informing us of the many sites we were seeing below. She was focused and still provided me, along with 2 boys (ages 15 and 11) a great flight experience. I loved the landmark and topography information she shared as well, as it was very interesting. Thank you pilot Jessica for a wonderful flight! We look forward to doing flights with this business again!

My friends took me on a helicopter ride for my birthday with Magic Air Tours in Miami and we had an amazing experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy the best views of Miami!

Oh my goshhhh. First helicopter ride ever. My original booking was rescheduled due to a tropical storm, but we rescheduled and they even extended our flight as a courtesy. The whole experience was exhilarating. Jackie and Mickey (I hope I spelled their names right) were super helpful and informative and their energy was on point even though they do this all day everyday, they matched our excitement especially Jackie. Our pilot Dave was awesome. My only complaint is our mics weren’t working, I didn’t mind not being able to talk to my passengers but I wanted to say “Dave! What’s our altitude? Dave, I have a $50 bill for you if you can do a trick.” Lol. The mics DO work but none of us could figure it out. No worries though. I didn’t come to talk to Dave, I came to fly, and that we did! I will definitely do this again, that is, I don’t get my pilots license and take Daves job first. 10/10
OH and don’t be reluctant to book a shared flight, everyone is there to have a good time. Our shared flight friends were awesome. Just be mindful of others trying to take pictures. (Lean back so they can get good shots of both window sides)

We arranged a plane tour with my girlfriend to have a wonderful day in Miami. We worked with this company, and I can say with full confidence I definitely recommend it. great people. They took us in even though we were late for our reservation, and greeted us with a smile and good laughs. I would especially like to thank our captain LUIS. LUIS is a really heart warming captain. Great time! The instructions they provide before you get there, pre flight, and getting settled into the helicopter are wonderful. They pick you up at the gate in a golf cart then drive you to the helicopter in it as well (added bonus rides for kids like my 5 year old nephew I took for the ride). The pilot was wonderful! He talked to us, gave clear direction, heads ups on things like take off and turns (my nephew appreciated so he wasn’t caught off guard) and pointed out all the things on the ground. The entire experience was just wonderful!

If you’re thinking about booking this excursion, don’t think. BOOK IT! We had an amazing experience. Our pilot, Bryan was so nice, explained every step of the process and was knowledgeable about the area. We felt safe and more importantly had a great experience. 10/10 highly recommend

Booked a 30 Minute Sunset Mega Tour for my wife’s birthday and she loved every minute of it. Bryan is a phenomenal pilot 16 years of experience so no need to worry about anything going wrong. Great camaraderie during the flight, Bryan has a great sense of humor. Lots of sights to see, I’ve lived in Florida my whole life and saw things I’ve never seen before while on this ride. Most definitely worth it. The 30 minute ride is more than enough not too long not too short.

Our pilot did very well with my 6-year-old and talked to and engaged with her the entire time. It was a nice ride as well, we did the lake and dam experience! I would highly recommend this place, especially for kiddos!

I booked this to do something different for my boyfriends birthday and for someone who’s never gotten on a plane or a helicopter before and was scared to get on at first, I felt very comfortable when I got on! Dave the pilot was awesome and very knowledgeable on Baltimore and gave a great and comfortable tour! Everyone here at Charm Aviation was amazing! We will definitely be back to do the other tours they offer!!

The “Charm’tastic Mile” (Love That 1.3) is very excited about Charm City Helicopters, it’s one of the most unique things to-do in Baltimore. The sky views from downtown and along “The Mile” are amazing and it gives you spectacular images of our city that are truly dynamic. I highly recommend Charm City Helicopters.

Our 30 mins private tour for 2 exceeded our expectations! We reserved our tour for 4pm and we were supposed to check in 30 mins before. We went inside for the check in and everything went fast and smooth and we got up in the helicopter even earlier. The staff was extremely friendly and explained all the details prior the departure and also offered to take photos. Once in the air, the pilot presented us each area. Everything was wonderful. I really thought 30 mins would be enough, but now I m sad that I haven’t booked the 45mins flight. After staying 2 days in Manhattan, where we had an extremely hard time finding any sort of parking, we were expecting to have this issue too at the airport, but luckily there was plenty of free parking at the Westchester County location. We will definitely come back and use Wings Air again when in the area.

The experience at HeliAir was awesome. We got to see great sights of the city from a vantage point few others can. The pilots were professional and friendly and we’d recommend this to anyone who wants a unique and memorable flight.

Amazing helicopter experience with Bryan. We did this for my mom’s birthday and she was very happy. It was my first time on a helicopter so I enjoyed it very much

I started from 0 and went to commercial instrument rated with a 135 PIC job in under a year, while working full time. This will not be the case for everyone, weather, examiner availability etc.
However if you are motivated and willing to put in the work this school will be great for you.
The aircraft, instructors, and owner are all top notch and I am incredibly grateful for their help in my journey!

Overall I recommend if you are new to the area. I felt very safe. The pilot did a great job with the flight and you get to see most of Miami's landscape. The tour part could use more cool facts and some jokes--I didn't learn anything new since I've lived here a few years. I also got a little nauseous but my husband was fine. Still happy we went. Also best value air tour in the area. The price can't be beat.

The Miami Mega Tour was off the hook good!!! The pilot (Bryan) was friendly, funny, and professional. I saw the beaches and city from a perspective I didn’t know existed. Beyond AWESOME!!!!

I had an awesome experience on my helicopter tour! The pilot was so knowledgeable about the area and I even got to see some manatees hanging out in a lagoon.

It was a smooth, comfortable ride and the pilot focused a lot on safety. I tend to deal with motion sickness, but didn’t have any issues on this ride!

Overall, I loved seeing Miami from a new perspective and would definitely recommend Heli Air Miami to anyone visiting the area!!

Lovely way to experience Baltimore. Lots of historic structures to view from above for the history buff. Smooth take off and landing. The helicopter was a two passenger. Very romantic- but be on time as the company stacks their bookings tight. I had a shoe malfunction and we couldn’t slow to repair it. There are few grills in the check in trailer but the helicopter is well maintained and hopefully the pilot is paid well. The cooter is loud but from what I could hear, our pilot was knowledgeable and he certainly felt genial. I good time was had by all. This is a great option as a romantic outing for partners who enjoy flying.

We had such a great experience with our pilot, Joel! He was so knowledgeable and answered all of our random questions about his career. The facility is clean and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The experience? A jaw-dropper. Beautiful!! Such a unique experience and memories made!! I highly recommend the longer tour options.

We had an excellent experience here! We arrived a little early, but they were very thoughtful to accommodate for us to reduce our wait time. Everybody is so kind and patient to introduce us the to-dos and not to-dos, to let us know which place we're looking at. BTW It feels so different up there than seeing the pictures!!

Our pilot Anthony was great. Very knowledgeable of the area and alot of fun to fly with. Was expecting a more luxurious chopper experience - although ours was fine. My husband is a large man and he thought we were flying in the larger black chopper as shown on the website. Competitors had smaller choppers advertised ( and cheaper ) so we went with this company because the chopper did look larger and nicer, but not what we flew in. Pictures predominantly show the large black one -- need to add the smaller one in your marketing.

Horrible customer service on the phone. I want to learn how to fly a helicopter for fun. Person on the phone arguing with me there are no jobs for helicopter pilots. Me I don't want it as a job I just to do for fun. I don't need financial help or anything. You guys ever heard of fun? Change your name lower limits.

This may just be the best thing I’ve ever done… We booked a helicopter tour in order to shoot a promo video for a podcast and let me tell you, these people are THE BEST! Rachel worked with us over the course of a week to make sure any issues we may have were covered. She handled our crazy and last minute schedule changes with ease and communicated often to make sure we were taken care of. The flight itself was BEAUTIFUL. I have lived in Baltimore my whole life and have never seen it like this. The views of the aquarium, m&t bank, and camden yards were insane! Kionna was super helpful as well as we had to do audio tests and set up camera equipment. Our pilot was knowledgeable and despite my camera guy and I never having been in a helicopter, we were confident in his abilities and felt much less nervous after speaking to him. I have crazy bad motion sickness but felt nothing on our flight. It was smooth and easy going even with the doors off so we could film. You will not regret booking Charm City Helicopters, but you will remember your flight with them forever. #worthit

Our first time on a helicopter! This experience was amazing! We had an amazing time. We did the 18-min just to feel it out. But I would definitely take the 30 or 1hour next time. The staff was great very helpful, informative, and friendly. I wore a gemstone romper would recommend wearing comfortable clothing. It was hard to take photos inside the helicopter because it was tight but we took some amazing b-role.

Great company from top to bottom! Anna was awesome with planning and scheduling from the moment I contacted them. I used the company for a charity golf outing to do a helicopter ball drop on the course. A little unorthodox but they were certainly up to the challenge. The pilots were VERY professional and down to earth. The event was a huge success and we can't wait to use them again next year!

Everything was awesome from meeting our host Anna to flying with our pilot Andrew. We did the doors on flight for two lasting 45 minutes.
The rose bouquet they delivered to my wife for our anniversary was gorgeous and she loved them, roses were a pefect red color and beautiful. The champagne was nice and cold.
The flight itself was great, very relaxing and you can see everything forward and on both sides. You can communicate within your group members and pilot via their headphones.
We took off at a private airport in White Plains NY and literally circled Lady Liberty, we went over the big city and was able to capture great pictures and videos with our cell phones.

We had a great time. We ordered the private flight, and pilot Kieran was awesome. He accommodated my 8 y.o. niece's fear very well, until she became calm. It was a large astar turbine helicopter, not one of those Robinson helicopters that some companies try to pass off as helicopters. They accommodated all of the accommodations we needed, and flew us counterclockwise around Manhattan. Starting from Wall Street, and Governors Island, up the East River along Brooklyn, along the Hudson River on the NJ side. Then around Liberty Island with the statue of liberty and Ellis Island. Anna was a great help as well.

The school is very focused on letting you be in control. You're not forced into a program of any kind. I pick the days I want to fly and coordinate with my instructor. It's a great setup for those that can actually study on their own. Plus you're flying right out of the bravo airspace so learn to talk to ATC from the word go.

Works with your schedule, bravo from the start, and great aircraft and instructors.

Been trying to get in touch with this company to book a helicopter tour since Monday 7/12/21 at 10 am. It is currently Thursday 7/15/21. I've sent emails, called, left voicemails. I've even tried all the options in the phone menu just to get someone on the phone.

3 stars instead of 1 star because I am only rating the inability to book. I wanted to leave a review since this customer service experience has been unfortunate so far. It appears all the other reviews are a year+ old so I wonder if this place is even still in operation.

This place was fantastic. Driving into this place smelled of wealth (if that makes sense lol).

They were very accommodating and even honored a discount for us since that had a little glitch with our order.

Our driving instructor Lance was so awesome. He made us feel safe, gave us a smooth, steady ride. We love the tour he gave us. He was filled with flight riding education and with geographical information throughout our route.

First time in a helicopter, but it was quite possibly the most fun thing I’ve ever done. Doors off helicopter tour of Miami, South Beach, and Key Biscayne was amazing! Major shoutout to Tony, our ace pilot for the evening!

Nate Haslam was the CFI who prepared me for my PPL at a comfortable pace. I was well prepared for my written exam and check-ride. Nate was able to identify my learning style and instruct effectively. Teren is also a very knowledgeable instructor I flew with and recommend.

During my PPL curriculum I only had to maintenance cancel once for a pretty common mechanical issue (alternator belt failure). The plane was back up rather quickly and it did not hinder my training whatsoever.

I recommend competing an online ground school prior to your discovery ride as it will save you money and prepare you for your training.

We were a little early for our chopper flight but plane pilot Faizan took good care of us taking pics of us with planes and showing us the different models. Our pilot Morne was very professional and friendly. My wife was a little nervous but the safety check with Morne made her feel at ease. He was an amazing air tour guide even for Miami locals like us. Pilot Chris is a rock star. An amazing helicopter 🚁 tour of the beaches in southwest Florida. It is worth your time to save up the money and take a 45 minute ride. We are going to do a sunset tour in the near future. So fun!

Mike was GREAT!! My boyfriend surprised me with this helicopter tour and it was just SO amazing. He showed us all around Miami Beaches and showed us different famous peoples houses. Made me want to live here this place is just so beautiful!

He not only helped with each stop along the way, with all the requirements I had, but even when a reroute caused changes to be made, he did it all with the utmost efficiency . I was not impressed with the professionalism of the office staff when I took my CFI written exam here. I walked in and waited while the dude at the desk talked about nonsense with another person in the lobby. After five or so minutes of waiting, he asks what I needed help with. After telling him I was there to take an exam he put forth minimal effort checking me in. The testing center was in what seemed to be in the conference room, it was not quiet, there were things being printed behind me and other noises. I was not offered a noice reduction device and it was not until after completing the exam that I saw them hanging in between the cubicles. I was not done with the exam before the office staff came and waited behind me while I checked my answers. All I can say is that if their instructors are the same quality as their office staff, do yourself a favor and go to a different school. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ULA FOR ANY OF YOUR AVIATION NEEDS.

Up, up and away! There is nothing so wonderful as seeing a new place from the clear blue skies. I had no idea how historic this coast is and all the famous people who have lived here. I would recommend this experience to anyone. The pilot was very helpful and brought the plane in to land so gently. Amazing!

This place is a joke. When my husband needed to fly the instructor never makes time for him and would literally call and cancel there times because she had other students that would benefit her more to fly with them. Then when she left they said he’d get a new instructor and 6 months later he still doesn’t have one. He was scheduled to take a written test today and no one even showed up. When he finally tracked someone down they said they were sick and he’d have to reschedule. They didn’t even have the common courtesy to call and tell him before he dug our car out of 2 feet of snow to be there on time. They constantly mess up our billing and never fix it until months and tons of pestering later. I mean what are we actually paying them for? You think they’d run there business better and actually value the people paying them. Take your money and run far away from this place as fast as you can!!!!!

Miami Beach Air Tours was everything I expected much. I read all the reviews before booking it n all the reviews were good. So I decided To surprise my best friend with this tour. Pilot did a great job and the ride was very smooth.

If you’re looking to start at a Flight School or want to continue your flight training STEER CLEAR AWAY FROM UPPER LIMIT AVIATION YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. As a former student at Upper Limit Aviation I’ve experienced first hand that they see you as a source of money coming in and have zero interest in watching your progression as a student pilot nor best interests whatsoever. I’ve been gouged from one certain flight instructor as this flight instructor was obviously with the "flight school" just to build hours and to get out a regional airline. They’ll put you through flights that are totally unnecessary and they will squeeze every penny they can get from you. With the instructor delaying a landing back into the airport because they wanted to fly a circle around their house so they can get a good picture, to hitting the wing against the hanger door causing a dent into the airplane wing and still deciding it’s safe and okay to fly without having a mechanic taking a look at the damage. The owners and management is an absolute joke and present themselves in an unprofessional manner. Having one simple question took 10 days to get a response and seeing that shows that the students are just a number. You can’t call yourself a flight school when there are two single engine Cessnas in your line up, thus making it really hard to schedule yourself into a plane during the busy season. Please do yourself a favor and spare yourself the pain, headaches and RECONSIDER A DIFFERENT FLIGHT SCHOOL in the Salt Lake area. I’ve walked into another flight school within 25 minute driving distances and the manner that other flight schools uphold themselves are a night and day difference.

I have flown with 3 different flight schools across the country, and thus far I'd have to say ULA is my favorite. Fact of the matter is, there are a lot of flight schools out there, all of which will have their own positives and negatives. what has won me over with ULA are the instructors. I am currently working through my helicopter certifications but have also spent time flying with one of their fixed wing instructors as well. Regardless if you're fixed wing or rotor you'll find the highest level of professionalism and respect. The instructors (like many others) are not just there to milk you for all you're worth, each and every one of them genuinely care about their students and will do everything to give you the best advice and point you in the right direction. Furthermore their maintainence department is on point, the aircraft are well maintained and ready to fly when you are. I fly with Bryce C and Jake A, both are great instructors and they work extremely well together. Sure they may not be the cheapest flight school out there (and price can be important because we know helicopters are expensive!) but the long list of pros far outweigh any negatives. Finally, in my opinion taking off out of Class B airspace (at SLC) is beneficial as well. It's good to get that experience in now rather than waiting until later.
With all that there is a small list of things that are negative as well. Primarily being that again, there are schools that are cheaper in the area. Sure it might only be a difference of $20 an hour but it adds up overtime. And my only other complaint is that their school in UT is not longer part 141, meaning you can't get a college degree in aviation and go here. They have a location in CA that is 141 which offeres great diversity for their students. However because they are no longer part 141 in UT they seem to invest the majority of their resources and aircraft in the school in CA. For those of us that moved 2400 miles to fly in Utah (like myself) it can be a bit upsetting. I'm hopeful they will eventually expand on their UT location and what services they offer but only time will tell.
In conclusion, flying is expensive, but it's also one of the most rewarding things a person can do in my opinion. So take your time. Do your research and don't be afraid to go and meet with the instructors or even go for a quick flight with them. What works for one person may not work for another, we all learn in different ways. So make sure the school you pick is the right one for you.

PS. If you're looking into fixed wing at ULA ask for Amanda. She's the bomb, also very knowledgeable.
