This is the best salon I have EVER been to. After staying away from professional salons for YEARS due to poor quality and overpricing, I took a chance on Studio Chique & I’m so glad I did. I came in the same day for a wash, blow dry, and trim and walked out loving my hair. All of the ladies in the salon were so nice, and my stylist Sabrina was friendly, knowledgeable, and took great care of my hair. Overall, the salon was clean and the staff were the sweetest. They offer a variety of services as well, not just hair care. I will definitely be back!

I love this newly renovated location! Super elegant! I went to see Alana to get a Head Spa and I highly recommend her and the service. She communicated what was happening during the head spa to make sure I knew what was going on and to make sure I was comfortable. Everyone was very professional and had wonderful customer service. Service was amazing!!!! I flew into DC for a meeting but needed a silk press immediately. They were able to get me in at the last minute and were super accommodating because my flight arrived late! When I arrived they stored my small luggage out the way & they started on me right away. Throughout the course of my service, they continued to ask if I was good and if I needed anything. The service was impeccable, my silk press was amazing, the price was great and the stylist even gave me some recommendations on places to visit while I was in town. If I'm ever back in DC, I'll be back to get another silk press!

Not happy with my cut. I wanted long layers but it is way too short and looks bulky on me. I’m not sure how I could possibly get this fixed but have to just live with it and wait for it to grow back. Communication because of language was an issue.
Had an amazing and quick experience. Tammy was really nice and did a wonderful job with my extensions. She was so fast! It was my first time ever getting extensions done and I’ll definitely be back again.
White refrigerator experience. The majority of assistants there don’t know how to detangle without ripping through your hair. They turn you away from the mirror, blow dry hair at the highest setting, don’t listen when you ask them to turn it down, don’t communicate their steps or educate, but give you attitude if you ask simple questions, like did they apply heat protectant. One time I booked the owner of the salon for a traditional weave and my appointment took 6 hours… just to leave with painful folliculitis from too-tight braids, an exposed track, and mid styling. I would stay away if you care about your natural hair and want your stylist to be helpful, - not treat your appointment like a chore when you’re paying money for a service.
Best place to go and do hair extension in boston. I've made calls and asked the price around everywhere but it's the most skilled hair extension shop ive been to in boston with a very reasonable price. I recommend everybody to come here for the job. Perfect job with very kind staff
They store is under new management and they even rearranged the store. They have tons of weave on sale! They even have a huge variety of braiding gels and sizes. The customer service is freaking superb. I am not going to another beauty supply store!! This is the second time under new management and they are so kind and helpful! Hands down the best customer service in the beauty supply industry.

I followed Chavie on Instagram and decided to purchase a wig from her. This is my first wig, and I have since bought a second one. Chavie's customer service and attention to detail are second to none. She is caring, considerate, and kind. She will take the time to answer every question, address every concern, and tailor the wig to your liking. I live far away from Chavie's salon, so the entire process has gone back and forth via UPS. I have never experienced outstanding customer service like this. I only recommend Chavie to any of my friends looking for wigs.
I had a super janky haircut from a different salon, and Linda completely fixed it for me! Extremely happy with how it came out, and the cost was very reasonable. The shop is also very clean and cute. I will definitely come back here next time I need my hair done :)
I visited Chavie’s pop up in Monsey and after much previous heartache, frustration and searching, I found the perfect wig within 15 minutes. I admire how she cares so much about her clients.ever since I just go to Tammy, My hair was long but yet was so damaged Tammy with the hair straightening/ treatment made it healthier got rid of my freeze hair & the damage…. Before Tammy I went to many places for hair extensions not really were good but Tammy is fantastic. She has more than 20 years of experience. My friends loves her, Tammy and her team are fantastic! Chavie is the perfect place to go for great quality wigs! All of the staff is wonderful and took the time to go through all of my choices (colors, sizing, style, and maintenance). I am new to wearing wigs and ask a lot of questions, Chavie is very understanding and very prompt to answer fast. I've gone in wanting to add highlights and had no problems with doing so, they were happy to make any adjustments. Their customer service is amazing and I can't wait to purchase more wigs and continue to use their services!

All Plus Beauty in District Heights, Maryland is fun! The staff is friendly. They have an enormous stock. I purchased four packs of Faux Loc hair for a quick crochet hairstyle. Preparing for a music gig! Also purchased some earrings.
Nikki was professional and thorough. She cleaned everything before and after use which makes me confident in the overall cleanliness of her studio. I also felt comfortable, like I was hanging out with an old friend, which I think is really important because the nature of her business is being up close and personal with the parts of our bodies that we don’t like. Additionally, I was impressed with her recommendations for other treatments I was considering. She suggested trying an alternative procedure than what I asked about, even though it was less expensive, because she felt it would give me a better result. That makes me feel like she is a trustworthy business owner and makes me confident in returning to her in the future.

Bad business!! I called them and asked a question about the pony tail that I brought and she was huffing and puffing she didn’t feel like answering my question but anyways the pony tail is brown synthetic and it cannot dye black for some reason

New York native, and I needed some emergency supplies! This place was a short 10 min walk from Amtrak and I'm so glad I stopped in! They had #4 Jerry curl, which is quite rare to come by!

I had a virtual appointment with Chavie since I live far away from her and she rocks! She answered a lot of questions that I had since I will be a first time wearer! I keep asking questions to her and she is always gracious and answers them so I can understand. So far the process has started out very pleasant in getting started on a wig order for me. Chavie has a great Instagram that she is always posting colors, design, and unreal photos and videos of her wigs that she has or has made for others. That way it gives you great ideas to help her design yours. I will review again once I get it!

I called ahead of time asking if they had what I was looking for. I needed a wig for a stunt double in a movie so it had to be a fairly close match to the lead actress. I was able to email pictures of the actress to the store. When I arrived to the store, the owner (I can’t remember her name) had already picked out 4 wigs that she thought would work well. It was a great experience and I will definitely shop here again!
Man working there was very rude. I asked for passion twist hair but I overlooked the hair. He caught an attitude saying it’s right there. I said I didn’t see it & he said I’m only helping. I said you’re very rude. I’ll never support this store again!

I decided not to ever come back owner is not personable or friendly. Also the prices are ridiculous! I mean at least be nice if you want people to buy. I Can get the same items from SHEIN.
Today was my first experience at the store and it was fantastic. I was able to speak with the owner, Meg(h)an. She was so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. It is so refreshing and rare to see a beauty supply store actually owned by a Black people who look like you. The customer service is wonderful, the store was stocked with an array of products and they playlist was amazing! Your business is wanted and needed in the community. I will definitely be back. I’ve never had hylauronic injections before, and now, i love my lips and the lines around mouth look almost nonexistent. I’m waiting to start seeing the hifu results as well. Nicole was very conscious of my pain level so everything was comfortable!

She is also able to customize each one to meet everyone of her customer’s needs and specifications. Chavie exceeds expectations and over delivers. Whether the wig needs color, cut, and/or styling, she never fails to follow through and make sure it’s perfect. What in the world is going on here? I called this business to inquire about a product. The phone rings and a woman answers “I’ll call you back later I’m kind of busy right now.“ I say excuse me is this a business store? She says “yes but I’m kind of busy right now and I can’t talk so call back later call back Monday. I said what lol and she says yeah I’m in church right now so I can’t talk but you can call me back Monday.

The woman here was absolutely horrible. Has no compassion - no communication skills and basically thinks she knows it all. Wigs were ok.. I was ready to spend $500 or so.. walked away extremely unsatisfied..
I am glad I bought the Groupon and even better, that I bought two. Difference is clear right after the service. Nichole is very nice, friendly and knowledgeable on what to do to hit the target. Can’t wait to go again and most likely even after that. Location is easy to find and safe. I know you won’t regret the service.

Went there to purchase a few items. They had a african/black man there that was “security”. With no uniform on by the way that was following me throughout the store to see if I was trying to steal. I started to go off of him but I ignored it. However when I got to the register the cashier wasn’t too pleasant either. Won’t be spending anymore money here. Terrible business

Chavie Russll Wigs is amazing. It is located in a very nice neighborhood in Chicago. The staff is absolutely wonderful. She has a huge selection of high quality human hair wigs to chose from. I walked out with beautiful hair that day. I can wash it, style it with a curling iron, put product in it.. it is real hair. No one will know it is a wig. I forget I have it on at times, it is so comfortable to wear. Thank you so much!!

Not a place you should buy hair from. The people are really nice and accommodating, but their selection is small and they don't carry common styles. If you are looking for braids you wasted your time. Not much to look at period.

Place smells terrible
I actually like some of the wigs here, but they are overpriced, so they aren't worth it. I understand that good quality wigs aren't cheap. But im not looking to spend 500 on a synthetic wig, that is constantly being styled when people try them on. They apply heat to these wigs. I thought that because they style the wigs, they must have more in stock but no they sell you the wig on display (which again has previously been styled, using heat, and who knows how many times). I asked for a lace front, the owner tried selling me a lace front with the lace already cut off... she insisted that they come that way, but im worried that its been used, and makes me question how long the wigs life actually is, she was rude and pushy about buying, she kept trying to sell me a wig i wasn't interested in and said it looked good on me, when it didn't.

The store was large and had plenty of variety. However, they overcharged me for several items. And on one of my boxes it said $6.99 I was charged an extra dollar and I realize when I got home that the manager had even remove part of the price from the box without my knowledge. Never ever going there again. Can't trust them
The owner Barbara was very sweet and she helped me pick the perfect mono lace front wig. I arrived when the store was still closed and she came in to open for me. They have many wigs in back and she told me to focus on style and with then she brought out many more colors. Once I chose my favorite, she gave me lessons on how to care for it, customized it to my head, even sowing in these great clips to attach to my real hair so that it wouldn’t move once in place. I’m going to go back in with my other wigs for their refresh and renewal service - I hope she can bring new life to my old favorite (but now I have a new favorite)!

The man that works at the store at the register is very disrespectful & arrogant. Don’t give him your money. I asked him for a nose ring with a back clip because the regular nose rings don’t have a back part so they always come out of my nose. He no we don’t have them so I walked around a little & then I found the ones I was talking about. I said see you do carry them for future reference. He got all belligerent saying you asked for clip on I said no I didn’t then he got loud & I said it’s not that serious calm down. Then he got extremely loud to the top of his voice get out get out I said who the f you talking to like that & so on.... I spend hundreds on hair & hair products he won’t be getting any more of my money. I don’t like trump but I love the fact that he built a wall to stop them from coming over here. They come over here & get business & they still not grateful. Learn some customer service skills. Now you have lost a loyal high spending neighbor customer
The experience at Queens is amazing. I went in to have my hair done by Kae Cherrelle, who by the way did an amazing unit creation and install, and had some time to chat with Meka, the owner of Queens, and it was just a great experience. Clean, neat salon with peaceful environment. Great products.
The wig has a track that was not sewed down all the way and is already coming undone. The hair is shedding really bad and I have had the wig for less then a day. The wig was the silk based lace frontal MLF52
HORRIBLE!!! Terrible experience....don't waste your time. The owner is a disgrace!! I made an appointment with owner (Barbara) to take my 11 year daughter with alopecia. We drove over an hour and she didn't show up until 45 minutes later and only because other lady working there was able to get ahold of her. She walked up to my daughter and never introduced herself or apologized for keeping us waiting. She kept telling my daughter in front of many customers walking by that she couldn't attach the partial wig because she was bald... And I quote to my child, "you're BALD here, you're BALD in the back, you're BALD in the front....where do you want me to attach?? I can't attach the wig anywhere." No tact! Yes, we know....that's why we're here you moron! I looked at my daughter welled up with tears and we left. Never has she cried before over her condition or felt sorry for herself. She cried for two nights....was humiliated by this woman. She will not go back for a wig consultation anywhere as of yet. This lady is a piece of work.
