This place has always been super helpful to me when I needed it!!!
Make this the #1 stop on your list if visiting DC! The incredible architecture and the mosaics will have your neck sore from staring at the ceiling. This place is a wonder, and I could find myself being stuck there for hours trying to absorb every detail. Incredible.
What a wonderful library this is, I have visited many libraries, but I have never seen one like this. How beautiful everything is there, I always looked up, it was impossible to take my eyes off the beautiful sculptures, paintings and drawings, and of course, as without books. It is a pleasure to visit here, it is to gain positivity and good thoughts. It is very cozy, light and clean. There are many tourists, and it makes me happy that people want to come here, this is history, and history is very interesting and informative. I would like to note that the staff is very kind and friendly, always happy to help.

The congress library was amazing. You should get your free tickets online before going. If you like to check the research room you can register for free online and get your card there. There are orange arrows guiding you to the registration room. The card will be valid for 2 years. The building was absolutely beautiful totally worth it.
The Library of Congress is an intellectual treasure trove that captivates with its vast collection and architectural grandeur. Boasting an extensive array of books, manuscripts, and multimedia resources, it's a haven for scholars and curious minds alike. The majestic Main Reading Room and the Jefferson Building's intricate design contribute to a sense of reverence. The accessibility of resources and helpful staff make navigating this literary haven a delightful experience. The Library of Congress stands as a beacon of knowledge, a must-visit for those seeking to immerse themselves in the depth of human understanding.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. There are time entry tickets, so make sure you get them in advance. The main reading room of the library was amazing and there were also other exhibits that were interesting as well. There is also a convenient place in the library to check in your bags, as they don't allow them when you are touring the main room. You most likely won't spend as much time here as other museums, so it's great if you have a smaller gap and are looking for something to do.

My first time and I loved it. There's so much to see we couldn't do it all in one trip. We attended a Thursday evening event; I highly recommend. They are free but you have to get tickets in advance.

This library is truely a work of art. It felt like we were backing back in history. Beautiful views of the library from the thrust floor. In the front of the building there are nice statuses and plants. Parking is limited we were able to find street parking.
Loved our visit. The architecture is breathtaking and the history of this place is captivating. The staff are also very nice and willing to share their knowledge with all visitors. We learned a lot during our visit and can't wait to come back.
Yes, that is not good enough. They had to do that. They had to listen to that, because not only is that that is the government that is law and order they have to respect that.
Runs like a zoo.

Controlled by ultra-conservative Republicans who are not legitimized by vote & don’t represent the popular majority
I am a tourist student and the person at the entrance did not let me enter, I was in a meeting on the computer and he did not even allow me to be at the entrance. It's winter, my feet were frozen and they just kicked me out, even so I asked where it could be that it was close, since it was very cold outside. the person was very rude. I had to go quickly to a Walmart. lack humanity
Best ⚖️ law school library 🎓 in the best city. 🌉

5 Star on all fronts!
Fast check-in process for visitors; helpful & friendly librarians.
On the higher level, collections are organized by international, federal and state laws; then in each of these branches books are organized by area eg. Criminal, Family, Tax etc.
Not sure if it's a LEAD certified building, but definitely feels like one. Plenty of natural light floods the library, not to forget the comfortable seating.
Props to the AU for keeping this law library open to public!
Good view from the parking structure
Planning to enroll in this school, just from the attraction to the library. Great, and excellent design. No library beats it:)
New. Quite. Pleasant. Central location.
All I can say is wow! While in the modern age, we lawyers perform most research online, this library is our Nation’s highest Court’s library! Moreover, the wood work is beyond amazing. No words can describe the wood carvings, which are floor to ceiling, with amazing hand carved reliefs and other amazing craftsmanship. I inspected the carvings in the library for a while and did not find one knot in the wood. This is mind-blowing!!!

Now, the only problem is this: the library is closed to the general public. I am a member of the Bar of the US Supreme Court, so I was allowed access to the library and was also permitted to take a couple of visitors with me. But if you are a member of the Bar, ask for access to this place. You won’t regret it. I’m not supposed to take pics, but I want you to see the beauty of the inner sanctum of the Court. I was proud to be an American after visiting the building again!
Great resource center

Beautifully designed, clean, quiet.
6 and 1/8-inch by 9 and 1/4-inch paper-give me a break!
Love it.
Beautiful library. Many cozy spaces to study. Friendly staff. Quiet. Comfortable chairs.
One of the best libraries I have ever seen!!!
Great library, well stocked with a wealth of information, quiet and great place to study, staff are helpful and friendly. An added bonus to see a large amount of people who look like me.
Nice place!
Good place to study it is quiet.
I should be allowed to go here. This was my first preschool when I was a little kid in the 1970s and my daycare teachers Miss Chu drove us around everyday in the yellow VW bug even on rainy days. And my mom said that the director lady who was French said I would be a psycho when I grew up because I looked away when she held me.

Back in the 1970s this place was as cheap as Muni bus pass tuition rates affordable to all

I should be allowed to go here
Not made fun of by someone wearing J Crew how unimaginative

So the gym is small. That's fine should we have Hastings get some Planet Fitness on site?

Some admitted students here expressed they disliked the looks of the library. They should have applied to California College of Arts and Crafts and asked why they want to be attorneys

Yes this neighborhood is also located near the county Superior Court for San Francisco and SAN Francisco City Hall

Maybe these so called students should have more empathy for the homeless

They may find themselves in the same boat after Election Day

The homeless I mean friendless deserve jobs too and aren't stupid

Los Angeles homeless 32% have bachelors degrees that's higher rate than the general population

Law school doesn't mean so much anymore as it once did

I considered law school for myself only to conclude it would have been kindergarten
