Last summer, Premier Improvements Solar installed my solar system on my roof. Brian and Chelsea were excellent, and the process went smoothly. I specifically chose a local company for the reassurance that they would be readily available in case of any issues that could come up in the future. Their pricing was fair, and they even assisted me with the paperwork for the local Green Bank lending program, a service that some larger national companies were not providing at the time.
For me, the true measure of a company's worth is how they handle issues that arise after the sale and installation. This is why I was particularly impressed with Premier Improvements Solar quick response. I've heard stories from friends who had worked with large out-of-state solar companies that had to wait for months for a simple repair. However, Premier Improvements Solar demonstrated its commitment to customer service by promptly addressing my system repair issue.
Recently, my system stopped working on a Friday. When I tried to reboot it, I received an AC error message and was instructed to call my installer for tech support. Brian came out to look at the system on Monday and was back with fuses on Tuesday morning, and my system was up and running again that day. I'm very satisfied with Premier Improvements Solar quick service to my issue, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, local solar company.

I had almost given up hope finding a solar installer who was actually local to the area, and not just another national solar syndicate masquerading as a local company. I was delighted to discover Premier Improvements. I found Adam and Brian to be incredibly knowledgeable about local regulations, and it was a pleasure working with them every step of the way. After listening to a pitch from about 10 installers over the course of a week, Premier had the best price, were willing to work with the CT Green Bank (unlike many of the national syndicates) and, BONUS, they are really a local company. My technician Mike G. was great to work with. Mike was on-time, confirmed my appointment request, and asked about any particular issues I was having. Mike then completed the Gutter Tune Up thoroughly and reviewed with me everything he did (including showing before and after photos). Extremely please with the service and would highly recommend!

We contacted American home contractors after seeing an ad in the mail. Isiah was our technician for a gutter tune up and was awesome. He was super friendly and efficient even though the conditions outside were not great. Almost can't wait for it to rain again so I can see the gutter tune up performance. Overall it was a great experience. 👍

I worked with HB to replace our previous back deck with a larger screened-in porch. I am very pleased with how the project turned out! The project was complicated, but HB coordinated and managed the different parts well. Adam, Brian, and Chelsea did an outstanding job on our solar project at every step of the way. They were always available to answer our questions, and provided superb guidance through the complex process of choosing a system, and getting it up and running. We were hesitant to get roof panels at first because we have an antique home, but also did not want a ground mount. The premier improvements team solved this problem by designing the perfect system for our situation. We also love using the solar edge app to monitor our system. We could not be happier!

Very good selection of glass suitable for stained glass and fusing, stained glass tools and materials, as well as frit. They helped me with an experimental project above and beyond the expectations of a usual retail store as well, this is a place that really supports artists.
Exceptional service and quality! They did a full roof replacement and installed a 9kw solar array. Couldn’t be happier! The roof looks great and the solar panels are producing excellently! The whole team was there every step of the way to keep me informed and answer all of my questions…and I asked plenty of them. After hating our kitchen for 2 years we had always meant to upgrade. The window store caught my eye at a state fair booth and from there the process was nothing short of amazing! The sales meeting was prompt, straight forward, and fair. Install was a few months later and the team who did the install was great! We ran into a few minor concerns that the team addressed promptly and professionally. We have a few friends who have had refacing done by other companies and are shocked by the lower price tag we had for the quality job we had done!
We have been discussing an upgrade to our kitchen for a while and decided on resurfacing as our best option. After consulting with several companies we chose The Window Store Inc. The sales process was simple with many selections for colors, styles, and options. Shortly afterwards a representative came out to measure, plan and confirm all our choices would work as expected. We did encounter a cabinet where the door opening was too small for the slide out chosen. The representative took our information back and the team had an excellent option within a day. Once the selections were processed and in stock we scheduled an installation time. The team that installed our kitchen was very professional being sure to section off the kitchen to keep the rest of the house clean. The attention to detail was refreshing to see. It was rewarding to see our vision come to life. We only encountered one concern where a switch for the garbage disposal was in the way preventing a door from being installed. After the switch was moved, a technician returned within a few days to complete the installation and actually resolved another item he noticed that we had not. We used the Window Store to replace our side door. This is the main door I use since it is nearest to the garage, but it hasn't gotten much attention over the years. The paint was chipped at the bottom sill so we had raw wood exposed to the Minnesota weather. They replaced the side door and the sill plate and ensured we didn't have any hidden rot or water intrusion. The new door is beautiful, matches our home, and has a large energy efficient window so I can easily see into the driveway.
The salesman, measurer, and installer were all professional and friendly.
When we picked out the door, I appreciated that Corey didn't oversell us or pressure us. We had originally picked a storm door and the exterior door and he explained that their doors are efficient enough that the storm door isn't necessary. That saved us a bundle and makes it easier to get in and out since we aren't fighting two doors with a dog and toddler in tow.
When the installation finished, it was already dark (thanks MN winters), so the installer didn't see a small crack in door seal. The inspector caught it, and The Window Store sent the installer back the next day to fix it.

We had a corner of our roof peeling back. Called American Home Contractors and paid a $100 deposit and got on the schedule to get repaired. Dave and Mike came out on time and did a great job. Quick repair and tidy clean up afterwards. I really like that pictures were taken throughout the whole process to see the work that was being done. They also cleaned our gutters and hung a shutter that had fallen off. Highly recommend AHC!
We had a great experience with our sales man Arlen and our installer John. We had no idea in what direction we wanted to go from white cupboards to dark, somewhere in between. We quickly found what we loved with Arlen's help. John was friendly, professional and lead us through the process of what he was doing everyday. It was hard for us to trust the process after having a terrible experience with another company doing our bathroom. John left the place clean every day when he left. We are very pleased with the installation.

He was also reasonably priced, detail-oriented, very polite, and completed the work on time. I couldn’t be happier.
Seattle Stained Glass was the eighth one I reached out to and the only one to offer a repair option. All the other window places were pushing for a full replacement. Going with a replacement would've jacked up our budget way beyond what we can handle, and it would've totally messed with the house's vibe. I hope they keep rocking this cool line of work. If I need anything down the line, I'll hit them up in a heartbeat. Since I'm not in Seattle, they chatted directly with my tenants, which was a huge time-saver for me.

Before hiring, I recommend folks look up in the Maryland Judiciary Case Search how often ARC sues its customers. It's clear lots of people are unhappy with ARC, and it's beyond just "not paying the bill". ARC cuts corners at every opportunity and got indignant with me when I called them out on it. A job I was told would be 2 weeks took 6. Lots of no call no shows, no communication, and the man in charge only answers your phone call when it's time to pay. They're a GC and do bottom of the barrel GC work. If you're looking for craftsmanship, or something to be done well or with precision, this is not the company for you.
HB Services did a great job renovating my dining room into a guest room. We had an open archway framed up for French doors, walled off walkway to the kitchen, installed a ceiling fan and closet. Then painted the entire room. The project management, invoicing, and quality was on point! HB is now my go-to contractor!
I used to go here for stained glass supplies and art glass. I prefer shopping for glass in-person and I prefer shopping local compared to online. I had to take a break from creating stained glass due to health reasons, so I was excited to stock up on some supplies. I was dismayed to find out they have shut down the retail side of this shop. It's only function is repair. Guess I have to do my retail shopping at Northwest Art Glass in redmond. Shams because I always gained so much knowledge from going here
We dealt with three different companies and two seemed overpriced and not easy to work with. Then we met Richard! He was wonderful and very understanding. With a few pictures off Pinterest…he built our dream space. We’ve done quite a few projects in our house since purchasing in 2014, but this is hands down our absolute favorite. The iron staircase outside of my DC rowhome was broken, rusting and needed to be replaced. I got four estimates and Tesfa had the best price and offered the nicest design, so I went with this company. So glad I did - my new staircase is beautiful. It took about three weeks from start to finish, and the contractor was great at communicating. You can tell that this is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. Five stars - highly recommend.

When Tesfa came by to help me design a railing, he gave me ideas on how to make a bad stonework situation better. His railing and the workmanship enhanced the look by helping correct many of the flaws on the stonework.
Tesfa understands the concept of excellent customer service from the quality of his product to his pricing. I highly recommend and have recommended him to my friends and family members. It was a joy to work with a professional like Tesfa. I wish there could be more like him.

We hired HB to put an addition over our garage and turn our old guest bath into the new hallway. HB was very professional throughout the entire process and kept us as on-time as possible and kept us within the proposed project costs. When things came up that required our attention (because it's construction and things happen!), HB was quick to communicate and get us to a workable resolution. The end result is a beautiful home addition that has added both a newer aesthetic to our property from the outside and a masterfully crafted product that provides more functionality and living space on the inside. We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with HB for our project and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a home project - small or large!

The only reason you would ever go to this place was if you had already brought your doors here and needed to get the work done. I didn’t have the capacity to go elsewhere. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy. We got our doors back, but not to exactly how we wanted them. The communication was so terrible that I’m just going to live with the product versus trying to negotiate. The work is fine, and the gentleman that works on them behind the counter is great. The people that run this place should not be business owners.

(1) I showed up for our agreed upon time but you were busy and didn't have time to talk about the project
(2) You aggressively had me choose a green stained glass in under 10 minutes and I was never given the price and only told it was either "not too expensive" or "very inexpensive"
(3) I asked for timeline and a proper invoice which we never received
(4) You went on vacation with no heads up or any out of office with no correspondence for a week
(5) You tell me that you think the 3 pieces of glass looks better and that you would cover the cost of the material
(6) I ask how much the labor would be for the 3 pieces if you think that looks better and no response (follow up on this two times)
(7) You then let us know the piece is done. At this point, I just wanted to be done with the transaction.
I think putting a proper system with invoicing and line items would be appropriate. Also, to manage expectations on response times, etc.

American Remodeling Inc. Were the contractors of my home owners insurance. 5 years has past since the original leak and I contacted tthem because I have a leak in my roof. I was given Cindy Scott to let her know that I was having a leak. She looked up my account and said I am still under warrenty and told me she will have the sub contractor roofer to come out. She assured me that I would be taken care of and put my mind at ease as these days it is a lot of things to stress over and roof work is not something I wanted to add to my list. She told me it might be the sky lights. The roofer came out and the sky lights that they installed are leaking and the covered the cost of sealing the leak and also gave me the manufacturer warranty as well in case we need to file a claim. So I appreciate the resources and quick attention to the matter and Cindy to assure me the quality of their service and that they would take of us if the work was not up to par.
We couldn't have been more pleased with the awesome transformation our kitchen underwent thanks to The Window Store! Our old cabinets were not very practical or functional. We were able to get a number of the cabinets refaced and even got half of our cabinets custom built. The result is a FAR more functional and beautiful set of cabinets. We would highly recommend The Window Store for cabinet projects. The installer was polite, professional, and got the project done a couple of days early! An overall great experience!

We used American Remodeling Corp for a complete roof and gutter replacement/installment following storm damage. They were a wonderful company to work with and we are glad we went with them. They helped us through the insurance process (a claim from a branch putting a hole in the roof), including us using them as a public adjuster. About half way through the process, the employee we were working with moved on from the company, but Amer Remodeling provided a replacement contact immediately and she remained our contact for the remainder of the project. It was a seemless transition. Our insurance review/settlement took a really long time, but Amer Remodeling was very helpful through every step, and repeatedly contacted our insurance company to get them to review the claim. Amer Remodeling was always responsive to calls and emails. For the details of the projects, they offered multiple options and provided candid feedback to help us make decision. Amer Remodeling helped us understand the insurance claim, the scope of the project, and the options. They even accommodated changes to the project after we had signed the contract (we had forgotten to include sky light replacements and decided to remove gutter guards). We really appreciated their professionalism, and their willing to work with us during all parts of the process. It was just so easy to work with them. The actual installation of the roof and gutters was smooth, and the finished product looks great. When you are spending a lot of money on a roof and gutters, it's nice to have a company you can trust. We definitely recommend American Remodeling Corp.

Brought our house window to Marquez Glass and they fixed it the same day. They were very friendly, did great work and charged a reasonable price. I will definitely go back to them with any other Glass work I need.
Tesfa is excellent - he made a beautiful design that exactly matched my (very vague) request for something "craftsman but modern too," fabricated the gate quickly, and installed professionally and efficiently. His workmanship is high quality and precise. If I ever need other iron work, I will call Tesfa first. Plus, now my girl Lady can enjoy my deck safely without escaping into the alley!

Seattle Stained Glass was great! Michael was patient, helpful, and offered great suggestions to guide us to what ended up being some great-looking leaded glass panels for our built in cabinets. They also finished the fabrication work much faster than we expected.

I had an amazing experience here today. First of all, I thought they closed at 5pm but when I got there (at 4:05pm) I was informed that because of the pandemic they actually closed at 4pm. Even though that was the case they went out of their way to find someone who was still there to help me. They got my order ready and two of the workers one of which his name is Jose and another I can't remeber his name. Were incredibly nice and made sure to load everything securely and safely in my tiny truck. They were very friendly and very respectful and just great altogether. I will definitely tell anyone who cares to listen about how great this place is and how they have amazing workers! And the price of their products are also very good! 100% will recomend and will be coming back for anything else I can get here!

We ordered several doors from this BMC location. We gave the correct dimensions, and they mis-sized one of the doors. We did not see the tiny dimensions on the order verification picture, granted, so we had some fault in not catching their mistake. When we found the door to be much too big, we called them, and they made us still pay $70 for it after a very frustrating phone call. I hope they enjoy that $70, as we ended up not buying any of the remaining materials for our project from them and will not be recommending them.
They were able to make an amazing repair to my stain glass window. I had built a 22x22 window about 5 years ago. This past summer one of the supports gave way and it fell about 9 feet. Several pieces were completely broken and needed replacement. Also several pieces were cracked and needed to be reinforced. I wanted to keep as much intact as possible as it is very sentimental to me. They did a fabulous job. You can still see some of the cracks, but that is exactly what I wanted.

They are the professionals and I'd definitely recommend BMC. Recently I purchased a door threshold from BMC and the threshold was of perfect size so i do not have to cut it or do any modifications. They also helped me understanding how to take off the existing threshold and then install a new one. I really appreciate their expertise and guidance. Thank you BMC.

Seattle Stained Glass is amazing! Finding this shop has been life-changing for me. The retail store has an abundant selection of beautiful glass and everything you need to get started. If they're out of something, you can request it ordered. Everyone is super knowledgable and I always get the help I need. They offer a number of classes. I started out in Jack's intro to lead came class, then took a couple rounds of Michelle's ongoing stained glass lab class, where I learned the copper foil technique. It's been a year and a half since I first set foot in the store, and I now own my own stained glass business that handsomely supplements my income. It's always a pleasure stopping in for supplies -- I feel so welcome there and love chatting :). Signing up for my first class was one of the best investments I've ever made, and it was really affordable too. You can be a total beginner and they'll help you from wherever you are at. Just be sure to follow directions and you'll be on your way to creating something beautiful!
