I felt so honored and privileged to receive certification from Reiki Master, Ludmila Slavin this past weekend. From the moment you walk into the healing center you feel safe and calm. Usually when an organization changes its for the better however this is not the case for this establishment. They a new set of humans in there to serve the public and their energy is all bad. I had been coming here for years and this was my last visit never to return.

An inspirational shop in Delano that is so much more than just a store, on Douglas between McLean and the clock tower roundabout. Here is a Wichita highlight that has a vast inventory of metaphysical products and gifts that are beautifully merchandised, making it an incredible place to visit. Readings and classes are also offered that are oriented around healing and spirituality. Staff and ownership are also incredibly welcoming and engaging, adding to the experience of each trip inside. I give my highest recommendation to all Wichita residents and visitors to stop by and check out Moonstone.

This is thee coolest shop around. I visited just to check the place out and was super impressed with the selection, prices and service.
They carry everything you might need to perform a bit of magic, and the knowledgeable dude at the desk was eager to hear what sort of thing I might be into and guide me towards the right products.
I could honestly have stayed for hours and hours just looking at every single item. Their crystal storage is ideal, in my opinion, and actually makes it much easier to know exactly what you're getting and at what price.

Christine truly has an amazing gift. My besties and I stumbled into her space and are so grateful we did! Christine took her time with each one of us and touched on many accurate subjects and brought a lot of positivity and clarity to each of our unique readings. She was warm, inviting, funny, down to earth, and her passion and authenticity shines through immediately. Thank you for sharing your gift with us, Christine!! I go as often as I can, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to find all sorts of tools and items. Any question I ask is always given a thoughtful response; it’s truly a wonderful place.

Today I finally visited this gem that I’ve always been so curious about! They have an amazing selection of candles and crystals. I found a perfect duo pair of candles for spiritual cleansing that I have been looking for !

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of my experience with the older gentleman behind the counter today. He let a lady cut the person in front of me, mid checking out the person in front of me, to let the lady cut and make a purchase. The person in front of me mentioned that was rude of both the lady for doing that AND the gentleman behind the counter for allowing it. The gentleman didn’t say anything in response.

The person in front also asked for 5 anis stars. When the gentleman went to go bag them for her, he was bagging more than 5. The chick then asked “I only asked for 5, how many are in there ?” And the man just responded “well… how many are in there”.

He saw that I only had the pair of candles so he asked the chick in front of me if he can just help me out since I only had the 2 items. I told him it was ok and to continue helping her out.

The chick then expressed again how rude it was for him to let someone cut in front of her and not acknowledge it. The man didn’t say a word.

When I gave him my card , he looked at the name and noticed it was my male partners name. I told him it was my partner’s card who was in the store with me earlier. He seemed a little off put by that for some reason.

Overall, the store is calming and great selection! I just got some very off vibes about the gentleman today which makes me want to come to the store when I’m in a better head space .

I just completed the weekend Reiki I and II certification with Ludmila and can't believe the effects I'm seeing already. Love her passion and easily rubs off on her students. Can't wait to see where this journey takes me! Highly recommend to anyone considering the journey. You won't be disappointed!!

Cute little place! So many cool things to look at! Statues, jewelry, incense, soaps, mists, candles, herbs... You name it! Definitely a lack of books though.

Christina was very sweet and gave me a lot of insight into my future. I am eager to check in a few years from now and see how everything checks out. Gave me answers to exactly what I was questioning right now!

I was singled out for my race and gender and infantilized in a way that felt predatory and degrading. Most of my experiences here have been decent and this was during covid but I've decided to share in case this person still works here in the hopes it will be addressed.

I've been pagan for several years now and I went in looking for some basic tools to build a talisman. I was 21 then. I was greeted by a tall, heavy set, middle aged, Caucasian man who prattled and talked over me. At first, I excused him as an eccentric salesperson and because it was relevant, I hinted at the purpose of my talisman, which was related to mental health. He began pointing out how he understands because, "you're non Caucasian and a woman and these are trying times." Baffled since I NEVER once mentioned these things, I replied that my struggles had nothing to do with covid but instead, personal traumas. He instantly started lecturing me about how "it's okay to cry and how he'd be here if I needed someone to talk to." Despite my repeated insistence that I had someone to talk to and these were far from my needs, he kept reiterating these things.

The fact that this random man who could not see me beyond my race/gender was so eagerly insistent on seeing me in a vulnerable position and talking to me like I was a frightened schoolgirl who would come running to his feet in tears was insulting and disturbing.

In response to the reply: TY for responding. This was in Jan 2021. Fortunately, I've had positive experiences with all the women and the smaller, older man who worked there. But I do think that as a general rule, one should never bring up customers' demographics as a starting point to assume about their lives or level of knowledge unless they open the discussion to that domain.

My partner and I attended Dharma Drum Mountain for Buddha Day in May. We immediately felt at home, as we are a mixed-race couple, and DDM is one of the most diverse sanghas we had ever visited. The lovely service featured chanting, bathing the baby buddha, and an inspiring talk by former International DDM Abbot, Venerable Guo Dong. After the service, we joined this family-friendly sangha for a delicious vegetarian potluck, with Iris, our thoughtful host. A bow to you, DDM. Looking forward to practicing together again very soon!

Some girlfriends and I were in Chicago for the weekend and we made an appointment with Christine. This was my first reading and wow, Christine is amazing! My reading was spot on, reassuring, and insightful. Highly recommend!

Wanted to wait to see if her readings were accurate, but it has been 6 months since I met with Christine, and her readings were spot on. She even told me the things that we're not so great, so I am glad that she was both honest and effective. Wonderful experience, will be seeing her again soon.

I visited Chicago in December of '22 and March of '23 and had two different experiences at this particular shop. In December, I was helped by a woman who was clearly knowledgeable with her craft and was very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed conversing with her. I purchased various items but in particular I stocked up on spell candles because they are way better priced than where I live. She went over dressing these candles for an upcharge (which is minimal) and listened to what was going on with my life so she could create a custom blend and blessing for it. My experience with this woman made me want to add Augustine's to my rotation of stops every time I go to Chicago.
Now, my last experience was just...fine. My main issue with this last time was the man working behind the counter seemed frazzled and all over the place, not like the woman from my previous visit. He was also relatively condescending when I had brought up a container filled with prehnite chips (like the ones you would put in small spell jars and whatnot) that was marked .50. My assumption was that it was a weighted purchase as it's typically common for metaphysical shops to sell .05-1.00 oz of crystal chips for $1 or so. I thought this was a great price until he tells me that EACH chip is fifty cents. I thought that was ridiculous but did not voice that because small businesses can make their own prices. I simply told him that I did not not want the prehnite any longer and would stick with my other stones and he responded, "Why?" to which I truthfully answered, "It's a bit tedious to pick out chips of crystals. I'd rather just stick with the full stones thanks." He scoffed at me and was almost exasperate when he put the lid back on the crystals asking what I thought it was. Fifty cents for a piece of crystal that's smaller than one spec of pea gravel is ridiculous and, no, I'm not going to waste my time sifting through all of that. I'd end up spending the same amount that I spent on my Chinese Writing Stone ($4 for a full stone) for 8 chips that would blow out of my palm with a light breeze.
Another issue was that I purchased a zodiac candle which comes with a free dressing (because they are priced higher than the regular ones) that is supposed to be custom to your situation. When I mentioned it the man just skirted around the question and we never got a dressing-which in all honesty, that's fine because it kind of seemed like he didn't know what he was talking about and just talked about owning the building for years-nothing about craft. That wasn't a huge issue because I'm versed enough to make my own candle dressings, but if you're not and you're wanting that service just a heads up you may not get it.
I will definitely return regardless because the prices for everything else are just wonderful and I truly adored the energy of the shop the first time I went and the energy of the woman I talked to the first time. Just hoping the next time I return she's behind the counter.

My sweetie and I made a special trip here from Salina. Well worth the drive!!! Awesome & helpful staff, great vibe in the store, no pushy sales, just a pleasant and relaxing time. We learned a lot, and spent a lot. WORTH IT!!!!

This is a lovely meditation center in Brooklyn. The space is welcoming and peaceful--a great place to engage in meditation and also get teachings on Buddhist meditation. I have really appreciated getting to know the community of meditators and teachers here. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to learn how to meditate or who is interested in taking their meditation practice deeper with a community.

I've had many tarot readings but this was by far the best. The amount of detail Christine went into really made me feel confident in her abilities. The boutique is super cute and cozy and she made me feel comfortable before starting the reading. If you're just passing through Chicago or you reside here I 100% recommend!!

Unfortunately, I had to leave my last massage therapy office in Stoughton due to the therapists not being required to be vaccinated for Covid-19. Since I am immunocompromised, I did not feel safe with a therapist who may not be vaccinated, less than a foot away from my face.

There were NO other massage therapy offices in the South Shore who accepted my insurance, so I have been without these services for a year, and my condition has greatly deteriorated. Both my partner and I, without massage therapy services, had become so stiff and miserable that we were basically homebound.

I FINALLY found Wings Wellness, who fit my criteria - vaccinated, handicapped accessible office, and Medical Massage (as opposed to spa-type massage). They are conveniently located just off of Rt. 24, near the Stoughton Target. I have some serious medical issues that cause muscle stiffness that affect my mobility, and regular medical massage therapy helps to keep me flexible and mobile.

After a bit of a hassle with my insurance company (isn't it always?), Wings Wellness is now accredited with my insurance, Commonwealth Care Alliance.

There is now an option for CCA members on the South Shore who are concerned about their providers being vaccinated!

There are two Massage Therapists in the office, Tonya and Jake. I receive services from Tonya, and my partner, who has Fibromyalgia, receives services from Jake. We are able to coordinate our appointments with them so that we both get massages at the same time, saving time.

Both Tonya and Jake give great massages. They are professional, skilled, and use multiple modes of massage, customized to each patient's needs.

We both leave the office more comfortable, limber, and relaxed. We are so grateful to both Tonya and Jake for working with us so diligently to become accredited with Commonwealth Care Alliance, and for helping us to coordinate our appointments. We are becoming more comfortable and flexible each week. Wings Wellness is helping us to get our life back!

This has to be one of my new favorite stores of all time! We where visiting from Michigan and decided to hit this place before we left. The guy at the counter was extremely knowledgeable about everything in the store! Also super fun to talk to. Price points were great too! Found a gift for my friend and some stuff for myself. Next time I’m in Chicago I’m coming back! :)

I am just visiting Chicago and I googled this boutique. There were others but I felt drawn to this one. I was out sightseeing & although I had googled it, I wasn’t planning on going today and really didn’t know where it was!! Chicago is huge and while out sightseeing, I pulled up directions for the Boutique, I was a block away!!
I ran into a passer by who told me “good luck, I have tried to go to her but haven’t ever gotten ahold of her.”
I was surprised when Christine promptly answered and buzzed me in.
Having never had a reading before, I was unsure but sure, all at the same time. Christine was warm & calming for me. She looked me in my eyes & I felt at ease with her.
She did a tarot reading for me. As soon as she started, I knew all the coincidences that led me to her, were not coincidences. The reading was so pure and special. She validated aspects of my life that I had not shared with anyone. She really has a gift to see, feel, hear & speak. She is so intuitive & has such a beautiful & inviting soul. I was meant to meet her today. I left feeling peaceful and comforted.
My only regret was not taking a picture but a picture doesn’t encompass the feeling that I had the instant I walked in.

I can't say enough good things about Ludmila and her reiki training. Her space is impeccably clean and you immediately feel at home when you walk in. She teaches both adult and child reiki classes. She knows how to alter her class in a way that is approachable and engaging for kids. She invites you to reach out to her with any questions you have after the training and is very good about being responsive. If you want to transform your life through reiki, this is the place to go!

We found this community shortly after moving to New York a year ago. My partner and I had an interest in meditation, but had never been to a center before. We were looking to learn more and perhaps meet a few people in the process. We got more than we could’ve asked for. The community is warm (someone remembered our names every time we went back before being members) and the classes are both accessible to a beginner and chock full of learnings if you’ve heard similar topics before. We’ve been going to the center consistently for over a year now, and truly feel like we’ve found our second home in Brooklyn.

My experience was nothing short of amazing. She was extremely gentle and kind. Throughout the massage she communicated and never once did I actually feel like it was a job for her. It’s clearly her passion and I am grateful to have found her. She has a customer for life! I promise you….one session and you will never look anywhere else. I had the most wonderful massage yesterday at Wings Wellness. It was more than I expected it to be. The last few weeks I've been feeling sluggish and tired. I attended a weekend-long Reiki I and II training program with Ludmilla. While I had heard of/about it before, the course was my first experience with Reiki and I couldn’t be happier I had it with Ludmilla. The class size was intimidate and the space was neutral and welcoming. I felt at ease from the moment I walked in and ready to receive the learning.

Ludmilla’s teaching style is down to earth and personable, I learned easily from her and retained a lot of the information with little to no need to reinforce it (ie: tests etc.). The hands on component of the training was just as comfortable and effective as the didactic portion, I felt comfortable and able to make mistakes.

I am amazed at the power of Reiki and so so glad I took this course. I would highly recommend Ludmilla and should I be in need of services she offers, I would certainly return.

I have been putting off meditation for a very long time now - sure that it would help me but not sure where to start. When I looked up "Brooklyn Meditation", Vajradhara was of course the first to pop up and I'm so glad it did. I attended a number of one-off courses before committing to a membership and really loved the space, community, and energy that Kadam Kyle brings to the classes. I feel very supported, even as a beginner, and inspired to keep up the practice. Thank you to everything that the teachers, student volunteers, and fellow meditators do to make such a welcoming and open space to explore Buddhism and mindfulness!

Absolutely my favorite store in Wichita! I always feel the best vibes inside and hate to leave! Not only is the staff friendly and helpful, but they are so knowledgeable and really take time to explain anything you have questions about. I appreciated the personal shopping assistant during the height of covid pandemic and felt very safe and comfortable in their store. I also have always enjoyed the diversity of different paths, cultures and backgrounds that are not only invited and accepted, but celebrated. I am so grateful for the store and staff and I enjoy every shopping experience and class. I will forever recommend this store and their classes to anyone! I was super excited to come to the new location today. Upon first impression it was very clean, looked great, and I was greeted immediately by a seemingly friendly staff. Each staff member asked if we needed help handling anything, which I appreciated. However, one of the shopkeepers asked my partner if they needed help, and upon walking off started talking rudely about how awkward our energies were to the other staff members.

It felt very off putting, and saddening to hear the staff talk badly about us especially after putting on a friendly front. Walking in, my energy felt calm and happy, leaving I felt very dampened. Which is ironic given the typical high frequencies I tend to feel from other metaphysical shops.

Overall, my first impression was good, and I am glad Wichita has this shop to purchase items from. But I hope they address the energy and customer service of the staff.

My wife went here yesterday to replace a necklace that had broken. This has been the her ritual for years with Moonstone. Once the necklace breaks, it's usefulness has expired and she replaces it with a new one. She said that upon entering she immediately felt under suspicion. The employees followed her around and hovered over her at all times as if she was going to steal. She was looking to purchase more than just the necklace but felt unwelcome and was not able to look around comfortably. So she bought the necklace and left. The negative energy really bothered her to the point she may not go back when that time comes again. It's really sad because we have always felt relaxed and welcome in the past. If this is how you prevent shoplifting you should reconsider treating all customers as potential thieves. If that is not your motive then retraining your staff to not be so overbearing would be wise. I really hope you can get the energy right in this new location so you can still be that place that is welcoming and relaxed. Much love.

I received Reiki I & II classes with Ludmila and was blown away by my experience. Her in depth knowledge and experience in teaching allowed for me to fully grasp Reiki with both hands. I feel so confident using Reiki, powerful even, because of the support and guidance of Ludmila. I will recommend this training whole heartedly to anyone with the calling to heal. Take the training! Her calming and authentic presence, with the tranquil space had the hours flying by. I will also be going to her for healing sessions personally.

Lisa is amazing! She spent a ton of time with me before my massage to assess what I needed. She's extremely communicative and helped solve a ton of my ailments in one session. I can't wait to go back!

Quite simply, as I have written elsewhere, the best meditation center I have ever found. The teacher, Matthew, is extraordinary--so learned and so welcoming to everyone. There is so much knowledge about Buddhism and also practical "how to" on developing your own meditation practice. I also can't say enough good things about the warmth and depth of the community. Everyone comes from all walks and paths of life. This is the single best find I have discovered in Brooklyn and I am beyond grateful. It's a treat, a celebration of life, and amazing instruction in the Buddhist path. I recommend the center to anyone and everyone looking to find a quality, informed, and caring community. They are also welcoming to first-timers and anyone interested in sampling meditation and Buddhism. There is no pressure to adhere to any specific technique and everyone honestly cares about everyone else. Thank you for being a home!!

I finally stepped into the center after having passed it many times & it has been a wonderful addition to my life. My meditation practice has improved dramatically...IOW, I am now sitting multiple times a day and finding some peace of mind.

And the community has been a welcome addition. Kind people. All walks of life. Dedicated to exploring Buddhism together. And most importantly, everyone is allowed to grow at their own pace.

I highly encourage stopping by for a general class. This place is a neighborhood gem!!

Before attending my first class here, I had no prior experience with meditation centers, I had only read a few books on Buddhism. I walked in off the street and met Anne and Tom who were members and volunteer assistants for the class. They were so welcoming and funny that I was almost sad when it came time for the class.

I was a little pessimistic about meditation teachers coming in, assuming they would probably be pretentious or try to "preach" at me. Kadam Matthew, the resident teacher, came in looking very normal and friendly. Not only was he humble and personable, but he created an atmosphere where I was very comfortable and enjoyed myself. He made the lesson seem very personal and I felt it was very clear how it applied to me as a person who lived in Brooklyn, and I felt that I had a pleasant, small realization in that first class. In the end I was very impressed by his general intelligence and it was very clear to me that he was very knowledgeable on all topics related to Buddhism

After class I decided to stick around, and I continued to befriend Tom, Anne, and a number of the regular class attendees. Kadam Matthew came up as well to sit with us and he happily answered any and all questions we had.

After such a wonderful first experience, I decided to try a few more classes before I got a membership. Though the class assistants and attendees varied, there was a consistency in the friendly, enjoyable atmosphere, that kept me coming back. After a few weeks I got a membership, and it has been the best money I've ever spent. I found a community of like-minded people who all are seeking something more from life. I would highly highly suggest going to a class with an open mind and no expectations, then just see if you don't find yourself having a grand time and learning practical lessons to improve your human experience.

Further, they are doing an excellent job with their livestreams while the physical location is shut down due to the pandemic.

This week I was suffering from a severe case of sciatica pain where it felt like I was being stabbed in and around my right thigh making it difficult to walk with out pain. Fortunately, I was able to visit Donna at Sacred Space and she was able to work her massage magic. In one session I was able to walk out pain free. This is the second time in the last 3 years that Donna has helped me through her massage expertise to become pain free. She also did so when I awoke with a frozen shoulder and could not move. Once again Donna was able to fix me in one session and I walked out of her studio pain free with full range of motion. My shoulder has never bothered me again. Donna is an empathetic gifted intuitive healer who always greets her costumers with a great smile as well as with happy and positive energy. She is always willing to listen to her clients which helps her to determine what path of healing/treatment she will best use. Donna has the ability to gently determine any underlying stress factors that may manifest in physical pain and for which she is able to treat appropriately.
