I recently took the New York Institute of Finance's Investment Banking Certification Program, and I am really impressed. I gained vital knowledge about the world of investment banking thanks to the program's extensive curriculum. The lecturers were seasoned experts who had a thorough knowledge of the subject. The program added significant value to my skill set and knowledge base.
I signed up and completed the online version of Credit and Credit Risk Analysis Professional Certification. The online course was excellent and very informative. I believe Tracy Williams was a very knowledgeable and helpful instructor. The video instruction was easy to understand, along with using the PPT slides. Plus, completing the online version was excellent for me given my work schedule. If you cannot visit New York to complete the course, I highly recommend completing the online version. I am thankful I did.
I took the Treasury Management Virtual Series with Ms. Valisha Graves. The course was great, provided a lot of insight into many different concepts that we encounter as Treasurers on a daily basis. Very fast-paced environment (2 hour classes over 9 days), but instructor always made plenty of time for any questions/exercises. In fact, the constant interaction with the instructor and classmates was one of my favorite aspects of the course as we were constantly engaging over the topics at hand, as well as personal experiences. Overall, I left the course with more knowledge about concepts like Liquidity Management, Cash Flow Forecasting, Risk Management, and especially Swap transactions.
I discovered NYIF online, while looking for a reputable Financial Training Institution that offered Project Finance Courses. I found the course very relevant to my needs. The topics were quite stimulating, giving me a broader perspective to Project Finance and Public Private Partnerships.
The several Case Studies were very practical and applicable to the topics, they were well defined and one could almost feel his/herself right in the midst of the project.
The facilitator displayed his expertise in analyzing projects and breaking down somewhat complex projects into smaller in-depth fragments while still focusing on the big picture and motivations of all the various participants in the numerous projects.

I had great experience learning at NYIF. I enrolled myself into the Investment banking program and was impressed by it. The courses were well structured and you get the opportunity to learn the topic in great detail. The professors were terrific and have shared a lot of their own personal experience from the industry. Overall, I had a great time learning at NYIF, and I would highly recommend it to all my peers!
I needed to supplement my MBA finance classes with more specialized knowledge on investment and risk management. I've taken three courses so far from NYIF that I couldn't find at other credible online education providers. For example, one of my courses was on insurance company finance specifically, which my MBA program didn't cover. The courses are well organized and very comprehensive. I also appreciate that the instructors are industry experts. They do a great job breaking down complex topics, which is an important skill for an instructor, especially for folks with very little previous exposure to finance and financial markets.
Griffon Prep, and Bernie specifically, are the LSAT tutors you want to have in your corner. If you’re like me, and your first LSAT was kind of rough, or even if you just need a couple points here and there, they have the tools to get you where you need to be. I improved my score by more than 10 points as part of their program and i don’t think that would’ve happened without the excellent lesson plans and Bernie’s great attitude as a teacher. At Griffon they know all the tricks and they really are invested in your success. Whatever your LSAT goal is they will get you there.
I don't know about the lessons, but the person who is supposed to answer the phone and the chat, is not polite or proactive at all. She doesn't answer the chat because she is too busy (and obviously stressed ), that is what she said but not in an apologizing way! If so then just get this option out your webpage so people doesn't feel like fools waiting for days for an answer!! The information I was asking for was partially given to me at a very high speed for a non native English speaker and in a bored tone, explaining that the courses I was asking for are new so there is no much information about it yet, but not offering to send me detailed information later. After I specifically ask for it, she said somebody was going to contact me. I don't think they are, but I also do not care anymore.

It is the best language school you can choose in Washington D.C. In addition to learning a lot, the classes are very dynamic and the teachers are fantastic, that's why the 4 hours a day go by very quickly. I am very happy studying there and I have been able to verify the great human team that they form, making you feel like family. Congratulations to Adam, the Director of the school, for achieving such a welcoming and high quality environment and also to the teachers who have taught me so much.
Metropolitan College is BU's more flexible programs that allow students to pursue their education needs in a more accessible manner; part-time, summer programs, online etc. Most if not all of these avenues of study can contribute to a persons longer term degree program of choice. MET brings options and alternatives to traditional degree programs at Boston University.
I am about a week in tutoring with Bernie and she has genuinely already changed my life. It is evident she loves her job, and she is damn good at it! Connection between teacher and student is important, and it is there. I will always recommend Griffon Prep.
As a student and also as a former teacher I can say that ICLS exceed your expectations. Great resources, well trained and experienced teachers from different backgrounds. ICLS cares about their teachers and students. It was a wonderful experience not only to work there but also take some French lessons.

I took 2 tests with ICLS. The staff was professional yet friendly, and the testing process was well-organized. The instructions for both tests were clear and sent ahead of time. I received my test results in an hour. I would highly recommend ICLS for language testing.
Don't take test through this company. I should read this review before I picked this company as my tester. I'm a native Mandarin speaker who was born in China and had schools from elementary through post graduate school. I have been teaching Mandarin in US for 10 years. I just took other two Mandarin tests from other organizations and get superior level in Mandarin. But the testers of this company, ICLS, gave me a randomly low score. Same thing, they won't review my test until I pay another $200.
OTA is a brainwash company. I attended to the four free hours orientation, the three day classes in Brooklyn then I registered for the courses online that I would have the option to attend two classes in Brooklyn too. I did not have the money and they made it accesible to finance it. K promised that they will work with my scheduled because I was finishing a college degree which I finished it on July 2020.It was a big lie the pandemic came and I just attended one class. I called to get my money back and they just made excuses saying that We will work with me. The only focus with the OTA's representatives are to get your money and get you into more debt than I was. They are extremely kind at the moment that they enrolled you into the courses. They pretend they care but it is the money that they care about it. I did not get my money back and I did not get the classes. I lost the money.Be careful and think before you sign up. thank you
I cannot recommend Griffon Prep highly enough. The services and support they offer are unparalleled, and they were an invaluable resource as I was preparing to take the LSAT and the GRE. Bernie routinely went above and beyond to support me. I came in for an initial consultation and expected to stay for 20 or 30 minutes to get a sense of what Griffon Prep could offer. Instead, Bernie and I talked for well over an hour and past Griffon Prep’s closing time to walk me through practice problems and explain alternate approaches to questions. Bernie helped me isolate exactly what I needed to work on, gave me actionable recommendations to improve, explained solutions in a way that made sense to me, and was always available to answer my specific questions. The resources from Griffon Prep helped me understand topics I had been struggling with and using their test techniques and study methods I more consistently achieved my target scores. When I was concerned about the GRE’s verbal reasoning section, Bernie sent me the resource packet from one of their courses and answered all of my questions over email. Griffon Prep helped me see exactly how I could improve and gave me the tools that enabled my success. You won’t find a better, more supportive, or more honest test prep company.
I worked with Jeff to prepare for the GMAT and it was such a worthwhile investment. I was especially worried about Quant and Jeff was able to provide incredibly useful strategies that helped me greatly improve my accuracy. He helped me recognize that the test gauges your problem-solving ability, which goes beyond memorizing formulas. I also significantly improved on Verbal through a few key strategies. I'm so grateful to have had his help and wouldn't have been nearly as successful without it. My score improved 100 points between the diagnostic and my live exam. Thank you, Jeff!!
This place is not "bad", however I wouldn't recommend choosing this venue if you are serious about learning and becoming fluent in any language offered here. I work as an interpreter, so I can strongly say the once per week approach is only practical for a refresher course if you want to polish your skills for a vacation or leisure but NOT for fluency. I'd only suggest this as a way to get your feet wet.
Make sure you read the policy for this business as well as others. If you see a "no money back under any circumstances" I would encourage you to look else where because it shows the business priority is monetary and not to provide a service to the patrons of the business.

OTA is a great place to learn how to trade. I knew nothing about trading before joining up. Now I look forward to events on the economic calendar.

I took the Spanish evening group class for beginners and it was an amazing experience. This is much different than learning a language in high school or college, which was much more boring for me. At ICLS, they get you speaking Spanish from the beginning, and its highly interactive style helps you become comfortable with your classmates. My teacher, Astrid, was fantastic. Our class became so close that by the end we went out for a dinner on our last class and practiced ordering in Spanish. I highly recommend to any language learner in the DC area that is looking to take a class after work. It meets twice a week so it is perfectly manageable for my busy schedule.
Griffon Prep, Bernie, and Jeff helped me boost my GMAT score 130 points! I am not a disciplined self studier so I knew I needed an in person course to succeed on the GMAT. Luckily I had Griffon Prep right down the street from my apartment. The weekly Thursday night classes with Bernie (who is awesome!) starting at 6:30 were easy to fit into the busy work schedule. There were two math workshops on Monday nights that were really helpful. The most helpful were the Friday night extra help sessions where you can discuss any homework problems you’re struggling with. The course is what you make of it, you get out what you put into it, so I highly suggest you do the assigned homework and take advantage of the extra help sessions. I had such a great experience with Griffon and would highly recommend it to anyone. I took the GRE prep class and my score average increased by 10 points. The help you receive is very personalized and all of the teachers are so helpful. Half way through my level 2 course and things have been great. Usually the instructor speaks English for the first 10 mins or so just to go over what we'll be covering or to answer any questions from the previous week. They rest of the class is in Spanish. It's really helped me get over my hesitation to speak the language.
A few years ago I was planning to pursue education in the legal field and needed some serious help to crack the LSAT. Since it had been sometime that I had last graduated, I was looking for some real guidance in helping me prepare for the exam.
After my usual exhaustive search online, I came upon Griffon Prep and decided to give them a shot. I went to the first session with Jeff and was immediately sold on this place. Both Jeff and Bernie are awesome people and great teachers. I had a good learning experience with them.
I did end up with a much better score than what I had anticipated and cannot thank Bernie enough for her coaching. I did get accepted to a couple of good schools on my list!!

The food in the main cafeteria was terrible. I liked the benefits but that's it, they have small dorms that share a bathroom.
100% one the best choices I’ve ever made in life was to attend CBU for undergrad & grad school. These incredible professors believed in me when no one else did, including myself. Now, I desire to become a professor like the ones who’ve so lovingly and wisely imparted their knowledge and good attributes to me. Recommend strongly to anyone considering this university.
I had an excellent first experience with Fluent City. My teacher was incredible! He really brought the class to life and had us practicing Spanish constantly throughout class. Our teacher used a number of engaging activities to make the class social. Besides feeling like I really made progress in learning Spanish, I felt like I got to know my classmates and my teacher. Highly recommend!

I applied for a PT teaching job at this school; I was asked to send a short video introducing myself then was transferred to a hiring manager in NYC, or I should say the only hiring manager. This person apparently has a hectic daily schedule, but insists to do all the interviews by himself- the interview was supposed to be via one of the social media platforms- first appointment he did not show up at all with no explanation whatsoever, he did not even send an email to apologize for mot showing up. I sent him an email, he apologized and gave another appointment; this time he showed up after about 45 minutes- I was already gone. Again, as if nothing happened- he did not even send an explanation, not even acknowledgement! I sent another detailed email...
Simply and to sum up- if is the most unprofessional language school I have experienced!

Many thanks for the wonderful staff for their exceptional hospitality they showed me and the students all week. The live trades being presented from the front of the room and the student's ability to be Hands-On and participate in them made for a great learning atmosphere. The students enthusiasm and participation also contributed to an exceptional learning environment. I loved taking classes through fluent city!! They are conveniently located near the metro in downtown DC. My teacher was great! (Thanks Ramiro!) Class size was small so it was a more personal feel. Would (and have) recommend this course to my friends!
Fluent City is the way to go to learn a new language. Modern classrooms, small class size, located across from Metro Center. Very reasonable class times. I have taken classes at USDA and Goethe, and feel that Fluent City has provided me with the best overall learning experience.
Pricey. Not worth taking out student loans for. Overall not a good investment for African Americans and 1st generation college students. Your achievement gap will be wide due to you being an expensive quota just to get you there. If you have student loans on your financial aid package, run because its not a good ROI.
Overall good. I would recommend, but would ask if the professor will be able to teach all ten classes. In my class, I had three different professors, and that turned out to be inefficient. No one to blame, these things happen, but I would just make sure of that.
Great private school, professors are helpful, offers a great variety of online courses, campus is beautifully designed and decorated, very inviting atmosphere. This picture is the silent room comfortably furnished right next to a very inviting lounge. As a student I very much enjoy studying here. The level of diversity is amazing, and everyone is helpful and kind.
As an instructor with Online Trading Academy for the last 8 years, I have had an opportunity to teach in many of our centers in the United States and abroad. Brooklyn is one of my favorites. It is brand new and is located right near the Barclay Center. The atmosphere is inviting, the staff welcomes all new students with a friendly, helpful attitude. You should make a point of visiting the center and meeting with the staff and attend one of the orientation presentations. Class was excellent. Instructor made the material relevant and fun while getting into the nuances of French. The location was not desirable as downtown D.C. at 1830 is a challenge to navigate/park.

My time with the Online Trading Academy has been great since the start of my journey with the program. Both my online courses and in person training classes, had great instructors whom, are dedicated to professionalism and skillful at the subjects discussed. I recently had the opportunity of attending Futures class with Michelle Volmering last week in Brooklyn location. Michelle is fresh and authenthic and naturally expresses the subject that's so complex with ease. For the past two years , I have been inspired by the OTA curriculum with its staff and support to continue my commitment to financial freedom .
Online Trading Academy has been such a life-changing experience for both my wife and myself. For those considering enrolling, all I can say is that it will be the best thing you could do for yourself and your family. Virtually all of the instructors and staff care deeply about having each and every student understand and master their curriculum. Genuinely nice people. Without a doubt, I could NOT have learned all of this from just buying a book, (and I read a lot). OTA provides so many great tools. Their support includes their trade recommendations and analysis. I enjoy attending the live online classes, as well as live on-site classes. Many of the sessions are recorded so that you can review it again. In particular, I enjoy the "Clubhouse" live online sessions where students and instructor share ideas. Learning to trade successfully requires this bond between the instructors and staff and students. This school does it so well.
CIS Program is good
I had an amazing experience at MCNY. The staff of each department is knowledgeable and professional. The professors have experience in the subject they are teaching and they help you reach the highest level of your potential. I would never stop thinking MCNY for allowing me to increasing my capability in writing. The LEC is just amazing. Also I loved the library. MCNY is one of the colleges in the U.S that empower students with a lot of skills and knowledge to face the challenge of tomorrow's economy. I wish they had a campus where students could stay.
My experience at MCNY was a positive one, the assignments are geared towards the field that you are entering. I found that it was easy to work out a schedule for both work and school, The Professors and Instructors have work experience in the subject that they teach and the constructive Action assignments builds your strength and ability to produce independently the teaching method functions somewhat like a ladder, you are learning new subject on each step and it is built upon the step before, this way you can adsorb information at a comfortable pace.
My MCNY journey was an exceptional one. I attended the one year fast track MBA program.
It was indeed fast but thorough, complete and interesting. The experiential learning component coupled with the International Travel portions were indeed the highlights of my experience. All of the professors present a community feel as opposed to other environments wherein one would disappear in the abyss. My co-hort was very close, we have maintained contact and continue to be resources and supporters of one another. This was a total college experience and i highly recommend it.

MCNY is a fantastic school that truly challenges students. As a graduate of the undergraduate and graduate programs, I can attest to the dedication of the faculty and staff. Every day was a new learning experience. Additionally, I now teach at MCNY part time and I believe the school has only improved in recent years by engaging new students and bringing new programs to the student body.
MCNY is an exceptional college with knowledgeable faculty and staff. The school has a unique approach on how it caters to their students educational experience. I benefited from one on one sessions with my CA instructor who took time to understand me and listen to my ideas. He offered guidance and openly shared his experiences with the class. He wanted all of us to succeed but most importantly understood what it means to be a professional. He wanted us to understand that not matter the circumstances to continue learning and researching our fields. He kindly reminded us how we can learn from everyone and to never stop being learners.
MCNY has a great environment for learning that pushes student's to evolve and also encourages/helps them seek internships in their fields to gain experience while pursuing the degree they want. The school also features a diverse staff full of Professors that CURRENTLY hold positions in the field they teach. You can learn how to be ready for the work world post graduation , by developing yourself and your skills, at MCNY.
Metropolitan College of New York is one of the best hidden secrets for higher learning. As a graduate of MCNY with a Bachelors in Business Administration, I learned so much from my professors. They took the time to explain what they wanted from their students. We met afterwards if I didn't understand something and they even took the time to set up tutoring sessions for their students.

I got accepted with 56 credits only because they didn't take one of my c++ programming classes (took a java course and not both), and they also didn't take a language CLEP test (12 credits). I wish I looked into Harvard Extension School, it's cheaper, more accessible (Green Line is a nightmare when RedSox is playing), and also offers more choices. Of course they do at least take the CLEP Tests.
The quality of education is outstanding if you take a class with professors who know their stuff and terrible if you take it with someone who doesn't.

I am a current student and I dislike this school for many reasons. Campus is far too small, feels just like high school, majority of students are stuck up, arts department might as well be nonexistent... just to name a few.
