The food was fine, but not exceptionally good. Drinks rather expensive. The cheapest white wine costs 10€. The price is also only mentioned on request. Service good. 20% tip on the bill is unfortunately too much! That annoyed us in the end. Almost $100 for a simple dinner in a rustic atmosphere, without appetizers and dessert are too much even for Manhattan.
A can’t go wrong choice for Italien dining. Love the mural indoor it’s a Italien map with engraved food in each corresponding region
I used to like this place. Today went with family of four. Among other starters ordered the mixed appetizer plater. Absolutely astounded by the absurdly small portions. Typically would just let it go and not return, but in this case was so obscenely small I need to share with everyone. If you can’t serve an honest dish it’s time to pack it up and go home. Unacceptable. Will never go again and definitely need to tell everyone in the neighborhood to avoid at all cost. Rip off plain and simple.

My husband and I had an amazing meal here. The food was really delicious. The whole night was made extra special by our server Nicole (Nicky ) She was very attentive with our being overbearing. Will definitely be back and recommend to others.
I just ate here and the owner seemed very nice and friendly however the woman that served us which I think it was his wife was unpleasant. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and my meatballs were cold and the spaghetti was watery . In my opinion it was microwaved, my wife got the chicken sub and it was very salty. My kids pizza tasted like bowling alley pizza. Going to outback and getting drinks would have been about the same price. 🤦🏻♂️
Oh my Goodness! This place is so great first let me say the Owner Jake, his wife and the whole staff are so professional with great customer service skills! Now the food they serve is SLAMMMMING! with 5 m’s those who know you get it but those who don’t it’s just means the food will have you licking your plates and fingers since I just witnessed everyone doing it🤣! Like I always say don’t walk RUN to The Capital Club 16 ASAP! ❤️❤️😊
I visited The Greek Kitchen few weeks ago. Prices are the best I think in Mahattan, the food was really good! We had a Greek salad, octopus and a burger. All fresh and big portions! Highly recommended!

I frequent this establishment at least once a month. Without fail, when I ask for a CHICKEN Gyro, I always end up with lamb. Yesterday (9/8/2023) was no different, I immediately checked it and had to hand it back to the young man at the register. While waiting for my correct order, I checked my fries and they were hardly warm. I asked him for FRESH fries and when he gave them to the Spanish lady behind the cook counter, she very loudly said.."what, these are fresh". I was shocked! It was utterly rude and extremely unprofessional. Then again, it wasn't like I was at Chops Lobster bar so what do you expect right?! I wasn't asking for money back and I didn't even make a big deal, I simply asked for FRESH, HOT food that my money paid for. Nonetheless she took my fries, dropped them back in grease and had the "manager" pass them to me as "new". I threw the entire meal away and left. I will be sure to NEVER spend another dollar at this establishment and will recommend that my dealership no longer supports buying lunch for our staff here as well, as we often do.
Our workplace really loves Athens Greek! All of the food is really tasty and authentic. There is a good variety on the menu so it makes everyone happy. We place large lunchtime orders and they always get it right. Rich, the manager, is wonderful to work with and very helpful. This is one of our favorite places! Thank you for making our lunch time meals so great!

Everything on the menu is delicious - although the pork Souvlaki platter is my favorite - the food is well-priced and staff are excellent.
You will also note the presence of more seasoned New Yorkers at this restaurant, a sure sign that this is a place to be!

Great prices for lunch specials. I got spaghetti and goat with rice for 15 in total!! So good and so worth it , i even had extra for lunch the next day (and it was still good after microwaving it). i will be back 😈
Great Greek restaurant, it took us back to our time in Santorini. We ordered several small plates to share and everything was good. The desert tasting option is awesome, try it if you can you won't regret it.
This is just one of the nicest restaurants you can find in midtown. The food is extraordinary. The service is the kind you expect 50 years ago, very professional and very responsive. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The atmosphere, the food the service are all five star
I had a really good dining experience at this establishment. I went in with a friend and it was our first time there. Our serve Nicole was phenomenal. She took the time to explain the menu and the concept of the restaurant to us. She was very attentive and really made sure our dining experience was phenomenal. The food was really delicious as well, we had the fried artichokes which were super delicious. And the fusilli pesto which was also very good. Overall, great food and great service. I would literally just come back to have Nicole as a server again her energy and attentiveness were top notch.
Let me tell you this is a little hidden gem. The food was amazing everything was perfect and so delicious. Nicole is an amazing waitress. She is very knowledgeable of the menu and was just so kind to us. We would definitely return, but only if we sit in her section again.
The lasagna I had was truly good and very different from the industrially produced ones you buy at retailers. Great interior and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
This place is really good. Mediterranean food is definitely on par and it is super authentic. The service is amazing. The atmospheres amazing hats off to the chef. If you haven't tried this place I highly recommend trying it at least once. I will definitely be returning for sure
Amazing gyro that will make you surrender to your Greek goddess. House roasted before your eyes fresh cuts of ground lamb and beef spiced with imported oregano and freshly ground pepper topped with freshly sliced onions and tomatoes drenched with house made Tangy Tzatziki Sause of house made Greek yogurt with fresh cucumber garlic and lemon. Simply delicious!

Hubby and I had a date night at Primo's. We ordered the Greek salad but got a chicken house salad, turns out the chicken was delicious so we didn't complain! The pizza dough was a lil too thin on the bottom, but the cheese on top was delicious and the size was quite large! It all worked out to be a very nice dinner!

I stopped in the gem with my daughter while getting my phone repaired.. Coming from NY this is one of the best pizza spots I have ever been to... the staff was extra friendly as well.. I love the vintage pizza shop atmosphere.. I recommend 10 out of 10
Terrible food. I read about the Chef before dining there w friends who live locally and thought the meal, particularly the seafood, would be spectacular. He should be ashamed to have his name associated with the poorly prepared dishes served. The crab cake-described as Gigantic but Tiny- was dry and tasteless, fish overcooked, mediocre veg dishes and the only things can recommend were the salad and chops. Perhaps things like Moussaka are better? Great atmosphere but that's not edible!
I love this place! The staff and owner are very kind and professional. The food is so delicious. I always get the chicken subs and buffalo wings. Very yummy. They have some delicious Italian wines. Love the family-friendly vibe there.
It's a nice Greek restaurant located on the UES. We ordered lamb with rice, pasta with shrimps, and calamari (see pictures). Although I like the lamb, the portions were kinda small. Also, my friend rated her pasta 2 out of 10.

Delicious Greek food in the heart of Madison. Recommend the gyros and a shared basket of fries. Very filling and fresh. Has a covered rooftop sitting area with plants.
This some of the worst pizza I've ever had. I almost cancelled the order when I heard the price over the phone, but we decided to take a chance because we were really hungry...$51 for two large pizzas. The delivery time wasn't bad under 30 mins for 2.7 miles away. The pizza on the other hand was really bad. Toppings and cheese had shifted really bad during delivery. The crust was soggy on top and dry and rubbery on the bottom. Toppings were medicore at best. I will not recommend or order from ever again!

Mehanata is a good Bulgarian restaurant that boasts ethnic decor and serves a variety of Bulgarian dishes. I must highlight that their presentation appears more homemade and traditional than that of a typical restaurant. During our visit, we tried their cold soup "Tarator", salad "Shopska" and Combo Shashlik. I enjoyed the presentation of the shashlik on skewers, and the meat was juicy and tender.

The salad was just ingredients. No preparation. They were fresh, but they didn't even break up the feta. It was just a huge block.
The souvlaki was CRAZY DRY. HUGE DRY hunks of chicken. No sauce. Not even olive oil. No spice, nothing.
To top it all off, it was pricier than it should have been. Should have just gone to a halal stand - it would have been better. Avoid. Inside it looked popping though, so maybe just not a take out place.

One of my go-tos in downtown Raleigh. The staff and bartenders are always attentive and nice. A great place to go for lunch, with their German inspired dishes and sandwiches. They also usually have a small selection of imported German beers available that varies based on the time of year.
Awesome food. Loved my Gyros. The upstairs rooftop is beautiful. Great place to sit and enjoy your food. the downstairs was really nice too.
We had the regular gyro, the Greek Chick, fries, and Greek yogurt with honey and it was all delicious! The gyros are about $11 each, which I thought was a little pricey for just the sandwich, but it was huge and super filling. They also have a cozy rooftop garden patio that was nice place to enjoy the meal.

It was a cloudy and drizzly Wednesday afternoon. We wanted to do a team lunch and decided to go here. We didn’t have reservations but they were able to make room for us in the back.

They are focusing on their German cuisine which has always been good, but now they have more excellent choices. Our food was outstanding. The bar tender and staff were great. We had a very enjoyable date night here, even though we have been married for 19 years!
Absolutely delighted to taste the authentic Bulgarian cousine. Lots of great flavor packed in beautifully presented dishes.
Food is good and the menu is really big so you have plenty of options. This was my first time trying Bulgarian food so I went with the safe choice (chicken) but I'll definitely come back to try some of the other dishes.

The Gyros are great either served traditionally or as a deconstructed plate. Fresh veggies and onions give crunch and zestiness. The yogurt sauce is perfect!

Small elegant space. The wait for 2 people around 7pm was short. Food was delicious, and the staff was very kind.

It's an authentic Bulgarian restaurant with a wide range of dishes and a nice atmosphere of Eastern Europe with a fare that belongs to that region too. It's worth stopping by and trying their food. I wish I lived closer to be able to visit them more often. Totally recommend to everyone.

I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm from Boston and I've never had carbonara as good in Boston as I've had at this restaurant. In my opinion, it's one of the tastiest carbonara I've ever eaten in my life!
The food was excellent, but I was very dissatisfied with the service. Although the waitress was pleasant when speaking with us, she never refreshed our water glasses; the time it took to receive all our entrees spanned over 20 minutes, from first dish to last dish, therefore those of us that got our food first were eating cold food. We sat outside on the patio, and were surprised that other patrons were smoking around us, which is not allowed under the Des Plaines ordinance. We voiced our concern to the manager, who apologized and gave us a discount on the bill, but said that's part of the European culture of his customers. Very disappointing, we probably won't be back.
We tried this restaurant after hearing about it from a family friend. I have traveled all over Germany and finding authentic German and Central European food is somewhat challenging in NC. Everything here was great and the second I tasted my first sip of the draft beer I immediately was hit with nostalgic memories of traveling through Bavaria and southern Germany. We ordered the pretzel, Maultaschen, schnitzel sandwich, and sausage sampler and German portage salad. The food was fantastic and tasted like what you would get in Europe. I definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner out or date night!
What a great restaurant Capital Club 16 is! The German fare is delicious from the potato pancakes and gulasch to the rahmschnitzel. We ended our meal with apple streusel and found it a perfect ending to our meal!
Took a little while to get it but definitely worth it. Could use a nice garlic- mayo but for the price, great Cuban.

Came here for dinner. We had the horiatiki salad which is a staple. Made so fresh and tasty. Then the Lavraki ceviche which is made with Branzino. So light and flavorful. And finally the Mousaka.

My husband and I both had a wonderful brunch experience at Yefsi Estiatorio. It is among the best Greek restaurants I’ve been to so far in NYC (including the ones in Astoria). The food is authentic and does not disappoint at all. I tried the Shrimp Santorini while my husband had the Chicken Sandwich (not just any chicken sandwich though! This was Greek style grilled chicken with tzatziki on a pita and Greek style fries with oregano). The mimosas were great and the service was outstanding! The bottomless brunch was a great experience and one day I hope to come here for dinner. Overall, 5 stars and highly recommended!

Busy spot with locals. Our experience was disappointing: chicken “tenders” (tough), oily grilled zucchini, chicken soup had not much flavor, and on the grilled chicken platter the white meat was dry and chewy. The bean salad and ice cream were the best menu items on our visit. No complimentary dessert for the birthday girl. :-( Service didn’t impress. Cute setting: see pics! $30 per person including tax and tip — but excluding drinks. Needs work! Cannot recommend.

The gyros and chicken skewers were very filling. The chicken skewers had some kind of seasoning in it that I couldn’t tell if it was more like, a little burnt taste or that’s what the seasoning taste like. It has a unique flavor. But you get a lot of food though.
Been to many Greek restaurants and was disappointed. Keftedes were dry, lamb shank was over cooked making it a bit tough. The service was great along with the calamari though
A coworker and I decided to come here and I gave her rave reviews of a dinner I had here pre pandemic days! We ordered spanakopita(good) calamari(perfectly cooked) lamb burgers (not seasoned at all) and the walnut cake(too sweet)
We had to run so ordered our dessert to go, boy was that a mistake. They didn’t even package the ice cream for us which it was supposed to come with. We were highly disappointed- and the walnut cake was so sweet!

Parthenon has pretty average gyros. I happened to be in the mood for a gyro while downtown, so I stopped by. The restaurant itself is nice: it is clean and the employees are friendly. The gyros are tasty but nothing special. I would go back again, as I like gyros.
Ammos Estiatorio is one of New York’s newest entities. Classy customers, succulent dishes alongside of great service. Overall management is extremely attentive to detail. The wine list is extensive. We visited for the first time, and all five of us were fully satisfied. We treated HGTV TV personality and Disney+ design judge Lauren Makk to a celebratory dinner. After all, she was recently announced as our emerging entrepreneur cover star.
Decent food and drinks but way too many people which made it increasingly difficult to enjoy a conversation with my colleagues. The table they sat us at was by the door and at least 25 people hit my chair as they went thru the door to go to the outside tables. With all the places to go to in Manhattan I probably wouldn’t go back.

Located right next to Grand Central Terminal, parking available (if you’re lucky), seating available outside, inside great ambiance, (although tight spaces, it’s Manhattan after all), and excellent service from beginning to end. The food is primarily Greek, and more so, authentic Greek. We tried two appetizers and two main dishes, as well as wine. Everything overall was well cooked, properly seasoned and had good flavor, but nothing amazing to write home about, not impressive.
I’d recommend Ammos, if you want to try good and authentic Greek food and also don’t want to go too far from Grand Central terminal.

Undeserved 1 star, this place deserves a negative rating, their service, manners and order fulfillment is so poor. We call and placed an order from this place while visiting a friend, after almost an hour of waiting, 1st call, your delivery is out, after 2 hours they claimed they had no recollection of our order ever being placed. I’m amazed this restaurant has any customers left.
I am definitely disappointed. I heard great things about this restaurant and nothing I had was good. I went to order takeout. The bartender asked if I wanted a drink. I said no but then he talked me into a Daiquiri that was too watery and thin and I’m certain that it was a virgin because the one he made before mine was a virgin and I tasted NO alcohol. The steak was bland and had no flavor at all but it was cooked ok. The paella was tasteless and the seafood in it was mushy and overcooked. That was the most disappointing because that’s what I went for. So almost $100 down the drain. I am so disappointed. Never again!
Me and a friend went last night to celebrate a friend who lost his life 2 years ago. We sat at the bar which is very small having only 3 seats but, I loved it and preferred it over the regular seats that are pretty close. They have outdoor sitting as well.

Went in for a quick bite and Primo’s Pizzeria was phenomenal! We ordered a gyro salad and garlic knots, both were cooked to perfection! Portion sizes were great and service was quick and simple. The details were impeccable on the crisp but soft garlic knots with garlic sprinkled on top for authencity, the marinara sauce had a great flavor to it too. The gyro salad was so delicious!! Very kind and helpful employees too. Would definitely come again when in the area!

Seafood salad appetizer, good and light for the summer. I liked the complementary bread which had good texture. Mariscada Salsa Verde came with lots of small shrimps and tiny scallops, tasted just okay. T bone entree, big portion.
The One girl that works there is rude and also very cheap with the meat. You would think it’s her restaurant but it’s not. Get $5 worth of chicken from her, 3 pieces, if you ask the nice old man, he gives 5 pieces. Another issue is if you ask for a certain part of the pernil, like not the grease sludge on the bottom of the pan, she will deny you. You must eat the grease according to her. Not sure what her agenda is but the owner needs to address it. Maybe the owner coached her to be like this, I don’t know but it sucks regardless. Avoid her at all costs! Yes this is a rant but everything is true 100%

Tried this place for restaurant week and also ordered off their regular dinner menu. Everything we tried was delicious and we absolutely plan to come back! It is such an unassuming place that we wouldn’t pick if we walked past it but we are so glad we stumbled across it because there is so much more on the menu we want to try.
The restaurant is categorized as “new american” but their menu feels like home cooked German traditional food. The service was great and the ambiance was very calm. Although there only seemed to be one waiter for the entire restaurant he was really on the ball and we never felt neglected. All of the dishes came out in a timely manner and our drinks never ran dry.
Shout out to the hostess who was considerate of things happening outside of the restaurant like a flickering street light and accommodated moving guests to different tables to be less affected by the light coming in the windows.

No sense of customer service at this place and they wonder why it’s never busy.
I walked in at 9:30 and they said they were closed after telling me the day before that they close at 10pm. Walked over for nothing . Also Google says they close at midnight.

I was referred from a Friend The food is fresh clean environment but I felt my business wasn’t welcome bc I’m not Latino. I ordered a drink it was a little to thick for me I didn’t want a refund I asked could I exchange it for water. She charged me a dollar for the water after I gave her back the drink that was $4 dollars. I paid the extra dollar of course, but I feel if I was Latino she wouldn’t have minded just giving me the water since my stomach couldn’t handle the pina colada. I just feel it’s called human decency rather compassion for the people supporting you in your community.
Primo pizzeria is the spot for a fantastic slice of heaven. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of my food as I was too busy devouring it, lol, until next time, Primo Pizzeria.

As always, the food and service were excellent, and this place never fails to deliver on that. 10/10 recommend this place. The gyro plate is a good deal for two. Get an extra pita. The Greek Chick is another favorite. New owners and the food is better than ever! Generous serving of lamb in the gyro. When the weather is nice the rooftop garden is lovely.
The service at Spain Inn is the best in the area I've ever experienced. So attentive and friendly. The aroma when you enter this adorable restaurant is intoxicating. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The servings are generous. The sangria refreshing. We will definitely go again!
Princes weren’t bad. Food was nice and hot. I got rice and beans which were great but the chicken was lacking flavor. Not a bad spot however and the service was decent and quick. They accept cards which is a plus.
Food is tasty, but they fill your plate with rice and don't leave much space for meat or anything else. So basically I'm paying $10 for a plate full of rice and some meat. I hear their steak sandwiches (cubano) are very good. I've had their passion fruit juice, had to add water, too sweet. The restaurant is very nice and clean and the staff is great.
