It's such a great spot for brunch! We were lucky enough to get an outside heated greenhouse room for the 4 of us. We devoured our waffles. It was hard to choose as all the options are delicious!

The worst Greek food I have EVER had! My mousaka was definitely NOT fresh, and the sayanaki was mostly burnt flakes, cold greasy! You could tell it was something that was not fresh at all.
I was told by Ava that this problem will be handled appropriately. She did NOTHING. She just lied about everything. And the manager is pushy, arrogant and rude.
The worst avgolemono! Even the can brand tastes better than this ****! Greeks live for this soup!! Was this straight out of a generic can?? No wonder why my friends said, "WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO GO THERE?! THE PLACE IS KNOWN FOR TERRIBLE FOOD!"
I guess good friends know best!! Avoid this place at ALL COST!!

The Adolphus never disappoints! My girlfriends treated me to a belated birthday celebration last weekend and it was perfect in every way. From the service to accommodations, we could not have felt more pampered. The weekend was capped off with the final day of the 2023 Christmas Tea in in the French Room where we had the honor of being served by Connie, who was amazing. What a delightful time! I recommend it. Period.

Went here with a friend to grab a bite in the area. It was a beautiful day outside, so I was excited to go somewhere with outdoor seating.

We were not greeted by staff, and it took a long time for them to come and take our orders - and even longer for them to bring it out.
I got the chimichurri steak, and my friend got the salmon steak. It would've been DELICIOUS - if it arrived to the table hot. Food arrived to the table lukewarm.

Throughout the entire meal, I was never offered a refill on my glass of water - until right before the check came.

Really hoped for a better experience after looking at other reviews.

All we can say is wow. What great food - the salad is awesome and I could eat it every day. I have gotten the Beef Sauerbraten twice - absolutely spectacular. Kudos to everyone working there. Our favorite restaurant in Marquette!

If you want a pleasant brunch experience, then I recommend Salento. They’re exceptional for their service and atmosphere, and then their food was also quite enjoyable (a little pricey but worth it). I recommend the Homemade Brioche French Toast and Signature Paella! Delicious!

The traditional gyro was great however I was expecting lettuce with it and it only had tomatoes and onions. I also had the roasted potatoes and those were excellent.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, in fact this is one of my go to joint for good Greek cuisine.
I love the Saganaki, and hubby and I always get the Grilled Squids which are so tendered. I also like their Grilled Calf Liver and would order it from time to time.
My hubby likes the Pan Fried Whiting, Fried Smelt and Grilled Quail just to name a few.
Decent Greek food with reasonable price and I definitely recommend it.
This place offers excellent food, seasoned and cooked to.perfection. Service is always friendly and quick. The owner makes you feel like family. I recommend the calamari- It's tender and crispy. Grilled fish or chicken- both excellent, Any side dish we ever ordered was also great. One of the best tasting tzatziki also!

All Access Transportation held our employee holiday gathering at La Locanda. One employee recommended this authentic, Italian spot in Brooklyn. It was phenomenal from the food to the service. It was warm and cozy. Our party was only 10 but we ordered many dishes from the menu. Stand-outs are the fried calamari and grilled octopus for appetizers. I ate the White Fish Rollitini. It was outstanding. The bread basket was rustic and what you could expect to get in Europe. The portions are perfect and also what you could enjoy in Europe. There is a full bar and there was a pretty decent wine section. It wasn't too extensive but I opted for Montepulciano. It was excellent. Desert stand-outs were the amazing, homemade yogurt pie and tiramisu. We loved our waiter and were treated royally. We will be back.

Salento has been around for over 16 years for a reason. This charming casual Cafe and bistro echoes a special European sentiment. Expect to enjoy an enticing array of options on the menu and a unique wine selection. A beautifully decorated Cafe sets the stage for enjoyable casual dining, be it breakfast, brunch or dinner.
This restaurant is definitely one of the best I have been at in my entire life. Whether you are going on a romantic date or celebrating a birthday with your loud family, Rosebud on Rush is definitely an option that is never wrong! The service from the start was excellent with the hosts being very communicative and working well as a team! The servers are also amazing at their jobs. Our server for the night was Andres. He had a fantastic personality and was excellent at giving recommendations and telling us the daily specials. The food was phenomenal. My partner and I started off with Lamb Chop Lollipops. The flavor was very sweet and good! To drink we got the Italian Moscato. I am not a fan of white wine, however this Moscato was so good that I ended up buying a bottle of it. It was very sweet as well! For the entrees, I got the special which was the Filet Ribeye and my partner got the Chicken Milanese! Both entrees were delicious. The sauce for the Filet Ribeye worked very well with the meat. Perfect pairing! After dinner I had the Cappuccino. If you are looking for a wet cappuccino this is the perfect place to get one. However, if you want foam do not expect to receive it exactly the way you’d like it. The cappuccino I would say is more like a latte, although it is still good. All in all I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We had a large group for a brunch baby shower. The staff were so friendly, kind, flexible, and accommodating. The Adolphus is always a wonderful place to have a meal, but Christmas at the Adolphus is just magical. Our food was great, the cocktails were excellent. I can’t thank Stacy and Jalen enough, they took excellent care of our group and helped us make memories we will keep with us for years to come. Thank you so much for an incredible experience.

Classic brunch spot with a nice variety of options but wasn’t too memorable. I wanted to like the dishes more - waffles were nice and crispy but toppings made it overly sweet. We got a cornbread waffle too which was good but not a wow. Overall felt like this was maybe just a step up from a good homemade brunch, which is maybe exactly what some people are looking for. We loved the venue - sat on the roof which felt so cozy and bright. Prices are a little expensive for what it is, especially beverages.

My first visit and now last. One piece of bread per person. Had to ask for more. Lemon soup was ok. Saganaki portion was small and very, very salty!
Asked for recommendations. Ordered the chicken skewers, Mistake! Dried out, no Greek taste, just tons of paprika! I ate 2 pieces and called it quits. Restaurant manager came over and offered nothing!
Took 30 minutes to get the check!
If you want a great Greek meal in the suburbs, go to Psisteria in Skokie!

Went for Saturday brunch with reservations & we were seated upon arrival. I got the 2 eggs with a bucket of bacon & it was so yummy! My husband got the chicken & waffles, removed a star because we had to ask for the jalapeños syrup that it was supposed to be served with. Friend ordered the Belgian omelet and he raved about it. We 3 split the doffle as a sweet treat, and it too was a delight. Prices are comparable to others in the area.

I really thought the food would be so much better! We got the arancini for our app, and the rice was a little too al dente, but also had a fishy scent to it? I didn't like it. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, and it really just tasted like I made it from a box at home. Even the chicken looked very dry. The pasta was very bland. We got the Godiva cake for dessert, which was good, but a bit dry.

The service was very good, and the waiters would check on us often and had an upbeat attitude. It's too bad we didn't really enjoy our actual food.

We had a great brunch experience at belga cafe! We came for Saturday brunch and I ordered the green juice and Belgian French toast. The grilled pineapple was amazing with the French toast. The green juice was a great mix of greens and pineapple and mango. We started off with the cinnamon roll waffle which was delicious! There’s a frosting side for dipping!
My husband just got the classic burger which was delicious. The fries were really fresh and hot. Overall great service and great food. I would like to try the French toast but it seemed like a lot of veggies with the salad on top of it posted in some other reviews! Fantastic experience. Must try!!

Wonderful staff and food! Way more elegant at dinner vs lunch. We prefer to sit downstairs as the upstairs chairs are very hard. Nice wine selection with a generous pour. Great minestrone soup. Amazing Baked Cavatelli. Very large portions. We never get dessert but scraped the plate with a chocolate mouse with a coconut layer with chocolate and carmel swirls as decoration on the plate (see the picture - I don’t remember the name). Good thing we walked back to the hotel! It was so good we went back for lunch a few days later.

A great experience early Sunday evening. It was quaint and lively. Wasn't crowded and tha was nice. The space is welcoming and the services is friendly and attentive. Andrea was our waitress. She was very nice and personable. We gad never been here prior. We'd gone to another establishment right before this but they didn't have the good service that Salento ended up offering. I'm glad we made the switch. The pesto pasta was delicious. Very flavorful! Tasty hummus and calamari. Their menu is modest but effective. I will definitely be back to try the paella! Thanks for the great experience!

First: we tried to come for brunch yesterday at 1pm and were disappointed to hear that, despite the posted hours of being open until 2pm, they were closed. So, we came for brunch today, around 11am, and were seated almost immediately.

Now, the food: we were blown away by the meal we had. We had the schnitzel with venison gravy, over easy eggs, and country potatoes, and coffee. The food came out quickly, the portions were generous (I joked it could feed a family of four, but honestly the average person could probably split the meal between two), and it was incredibly delicious. The service was efficient, responsive, and friendly. For those who had a disappointing experience, I really hope you give this place a second chance, because I am soooo glad we did!

I was in town on business and decided to have dinner at Rosebud. From the minute you enter and are greeted by the professional Maitre’d to the last minute your there, you will be treated perfectly. The food is next level. A traditional steak house using quality meats and fish. The flavor and temp of all the dishes was perfect. We had the lobster with garlic butter and cheese appetizer and it was spectacular. Don’t forget the desserts that are home made and delectable.

Friendly staff and a nice looking restaurant, so why is it empty? Perhaps because the food just isn’t that good. Had salmon which came wrapped in paper that was rather bland, sitting on top of a bunch of mushy, unidentifiable vegetables. We started with hummus and eggplant and a couple of other appetizers, none of which were special. The pita was damp, as if it had been sitting in a steamer. We shared three desserts, which were again far more attractive than tasty.

The food and service was great. I would recommend eating here. I had the vanilla brick French toast and the burger. My friends tried other dishes.
Entering Mishka transports you into another realm. The densely packed knickknacks, chandeliers, velvet upholstery, and plants instantly notify you that you have not entered a restaurant, as you supposed, but an antique shop; or possibly your grandmother's apartment.

The service is phenomenal. The food, abysmal. To be fair I'm not really an eastern European food enjoyer, but some dishes were definitely not supposed to be cold.

It's all made up for by the mesmerizing display. An endless stream of gold bars, stacks of cash, money spitting out of printers, diamonds cascading into a pile, and on, and on.

Please visit this establishment. You will not be disappointed.

The food is great, the service could NOT be any better! Service deserves more than 5 Stars.
We were here for a birthday celebration and had the absolute best time! We will be back! OPA!
Great service, great atmosphere and amazing, flavorful shrimp risotto! I do think it's pricey and our small group of 4 was annoyed about the surcharge that's just added *because*, and if you gripe about it you're a jerk, but overall, the entire experience was probably worth it.

Look at that gorgeous (gluten free) risotto! The lemon is wrapped in tulle, so you can squeeze it without seeds going everywhere.

This spot is fine for a casual night out for Italian. We ordered the veal parm and bolognese, both were good but nothing special. When we called ahead to see if we could make a reservation, we were told no. However, upon arriving we were immediately seated and noticed more than 1/2 the tables were open. Overall, it was a fine dinner but likely won’t return.

Where's the love? Solid food and nice atmosphere. We came for lunch on restaurant week. Food was good, not great but still good. We would definitely return.

Crab pappardelle, tasty but really had to mix it to taste the sauce. It was ok.
Cheese croquette, delicious!
Banana bread pudding, was ok too.

I wasn't impressed but it was still solid food. Would return! Service was good and attentive and wines were impressive.

This Greek restaurant is a neighborhood staple. Occupying a corner across from Lake Ivanhoe makes for excellent patio dining. The food here is traditional Greek so the typical fare such as lamb, moussaka, souvlakis, gyros, avgo lemono soup, etc….not to forget they so do carry Greek
Mythos beer.
Very good! I had so much fun here and hope to go back! The waiters and waitresses were very nice and the food was fresh and came out very quickly. I got to stand on the table while they threw napkins at me🤣 it was very fun and definitely an experience. The belly dancing was very cool. I ordered lamb shank and it was amazing! The bathroom was very clean and so was the restaurant. I hope to come back here before it closes in November. 😭 Enjoyed this very much and highly recommend it.

First time coming here, close to hospital we were taking food to a friend. Wanted to do pick up but number on site was busy each time we tried.
Went there to order take out. The gyros were delicious, gyro salad very good too. The burger was ok but its a greek place so its to be expected.
Also gave a great amout of food too.
Would try again if in area.

Only cons: check out person seemed unhappy and couldn't get thru to make order ahead.

Lots of Greek options in Astoria, but my go to spot is always Bahari! Love to bring friends and eat family style with their simple, fresh and well executed dishes. Their grilled octopus is exceptional and can easily be cut with a fork. The surprise standout is their gigante beans… tender and well seasoned. It’s always nice when the main entrees are accompanied with sides that are just as good!

Authentic Greek food with Greek background music and Greek decor. Had the saganaki which was over cooked and thin. But the owner made good by giving me another one on the house. The gyro was ok. Can do less with tomatoes and onions and put more meat on. Owners very good people. They from Crete Greece so all cretans are good😂😂. Service is good. Prices are fair. You decide.

Stopped in for late lunch and decided to try the empanadas and paella based on others reviews. The empanadas were really delicious. Flaky, buttery dough and stuffed full. The paella wasn't all that great, rice felt a bit rushed and the shrimp were slightly undercooked. Service was just ok, we didn't even get a water refill. 3.5 stars. Worth checking out the empanadas!

A lot better than most Greek restaurants in Astoria, but not its service

40.76176 -73.92495 Bahari Estiatorio is a family restaurant, originally from Kalamata, Greece, next of Astoria subway station and the N/W train. Father overlooks the restaurant and greets familiar guests, while his children run the restaurant. We did not see a new generation of grandchildren in the restaurant.

In May 2023, we ordered Elliniki salad with vine tomatoes, cucumbers, romaine salad, onion, green pepper, kalamata olives and feta cheese ($10,5) and Tzatziki, Greek yoghurt with chopped cucumber & minced garlic ($8) as starters and Kalamarakia Tiganita, squid dusted with flour and lightly pan-fied ($19,5) as main course. We asked if the squid was fresh or rather frozen, but this question was not greeted with approval. Everything is fresh was the short answer. The squid tasted excellent. It was fresh. The tzatziki had the right balance between garlic and cucumber. Salad was perfect. This was a very good Greek meal.

The service was clearly service stressed, and the grumpy sons did not make us feel at home. Small talk about their homeland was not appreciated. When we settled the bill by card, we did not notice the tip was not included. One of the sons said to us: “you didn’t like our service”. He knew. We do not want ouzo as welcome drinks, but where is that Greek hospitality?

Bahari Estiatorio serves food that rises above most Greek restaurants in Astoria, but not their service.
We came for breakfast at City Hall Bistro the day after my birthday, I went with my son, the atmosphere is relaxed and I love the natural plants in the place, the food was delicious, good taste and on time. Yahaira was our waitress and she took excellent care of us, thank you. I had the Spinach and mushroom omelet and my son had a breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious. Thank you!
Marina exceeded my expectations during my visit this evening.. I came here looking for a taste of home cooking and I got everything and more. The hospitality here is more than a customer could ever expect and ask for. They not only serve you but they make everything themselves. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique experience and for anyone looking for a taste of home. The service and care here is outstanding and MISHKA is definitely a hidden gem that needs to be discovered

Oh what a fun place to dine! It’s been a few years since I have eaten here, and I’m happy to say it was just as good. Loved the homemade pretzel and delicious salad. Nice wine selection and excellent service.

I finally found authentic Belgian waffles that taste like the ones I actually had in Belgium! I had to ask the waiter which ones were authentic, though, because many of the waffles were “American Belgian waffles,” which I was not interested in. All the food was delicious, however, and would highly recommend! There was some decent street parking nearby in a very charming section of D.C. Giving it 4 stars because once the waiter was a bit snippy with me and after we paid our bill, never came back to double check on us or if we needed bags for our leftovers. Otherwise, a lovely experience! And they have several options for outdoor seating as well. It was also easy to make a reservation and they text you to confirm. I think you have a 30-minute grace period to get there in time for your reservation. Also, great selection of music for Saturday brunch! Cocktails were delicious and so were the actual green eggs!

Overall this place is a good time and allows guests to choose their experience - indoor dining offers more music, dancing, and vibrant energy. Outdoor dining is more relaxed with a large tree and half covered patio where the music from inside gently wafts outdoors and the dancers (on the weekend) flow between both areas. There’s is heating on the patio as well so cooler weather can definitely be enjoyed outdoors. They do their best to make guests feel noticed on special occasions - graduates, birthdays, promotions get announced by the DJ and staff do a great job celebrating too. Between the napkin tossing and the vibrant atmosphere, everyone has a good time. Food is yummy - seafood is fresh (we had the mussels and the cream sauce was a great pairing) and the salads are large portions great for sharing. The drinks are delicious! We had lemon drop martinis and a mango martini (house specialty) and they were both balanced and flavorful. I could’ve had ten of them! The other dishes we had were the falafels (flavorful falafels but the tahini dipping sauce was incredibly salty), chicken Parmesan (crisp and well fried chicken with capellini tossed in a mild but well seasoned tomato sauce), and the Classic Gyro (this comes served to be eaten by building your own mini gyros and is great for sharing as well. To celebrate a special occasion or dance the night away with good drinks, this place is a great choice!
Bahari is a staple in my families rotation of restaurants in Astoria. The food is fresh and flavorful. I love the Tzatziki, Lamb Chops, and Greek Salad. The Octopus is soft and cooked very well and the vegetable dishes are great. This is my grandpas (Pappoús) favorite restaurant so it has to be good! Highly recommend checking this place out.

The service was quite slow but I think they were short staffed. Our waitress seemed like she was newer too, didn’t really know about the wines on the wine menu.

But the food was good, my wife had some shrimp and I had some mussels. The mussels themselves were pretty small in meat but the sauce was SOO good. Dipping the bread in the sauce was even better. I would NOT recommend the sangria, it just didn’t have much flavor.

The outside patio area was chill and dog friendly.

Quinoa salad with added salmon 5/5

Pretty presentation. Good amount of salmon to avocado to toast.

Empanada 5/5
Friend really enjoyed them

Steak taco 5/5
Steak was flavorful and tender. Liked that they stuffed it.

I have been their customer for long time because my Italian family like this place. Very casual, like home cooking, staff is very friendly. I try all regular menu and party menu. They still have old system for accepting only cash for tips, that I'm not crazy about.
Had a wonderful short break here. The trio of dips were lovely. Nice choices of tea and the strudel was amazing. Very lovely and attentive staff!

City Hall Bistro is inside the gorgeous Adolphus Hotel in downtown. I live close by and finally decided to go after many years. The brunch was great and not too busy. The spicy bloody mary was one of the best I have had. Definitely come here if you're in downtown, come early they close at 2 on the weekends.

Delicious comfort food for the soul! This place took me back to my grandmother’s kitchen, beautiful ingredients, aromas and amazing taste! We loved everything and will definitely keep coming back for more, best Greek food around!

Located inside the Laundry building so it was a little confusing to find. The area is super cute and would love to revisit the patio when the weather is nicer.

Surprising full restaurant for lunch on a Sunday but was still able get seated right away. Service was good but food wasn't that great, especially for vegetarians. We tried a couple small plates: the flatbread, saganaki and spanakopita. They also started us off with some bread and butter. Everyone raved about the saganaki but we found it a little too salty to be enjoyable. Ended with the small bites dessert, which was perfect. Overall, the food is only ok - wish they would have more vegetarian options.

Had a lovely time with a friend yesterday. They make excellent Latte and service is pleasant and really relaxed. The food recommendations we received from our server excellent. I had Short Rib with Potatoes. We shared a Vanilla pudding toast of some sort it. It was very delicious. Definitely would come back again.

Amazing and awesome time, waitstaff outstanding and attentive, food was superb, lamb 🐑 chops (juicy and tender), Chicken Kabob, Chicken Santorini, Shrimps🦐 were DELICIOUS 😋, Octopus 🐙 per my sons were tasty and delectable, libations on point 🍸 , crowd was astounding and super fun 🤩 !! Napkins flying everywhere and dancing was permitted—-on table and chairs 🪑 for the BIRTHDAY 🥳 guests! Get up there at your OWN risk🤩😂
I made reservations for 7pm on a Friday evening and when arrived table ready, DJ was great and dedicated songs and SHOUT OUTS to the BIRTHDAY guests throughout the evening 🎂 🎉🥳 !!!! Entertainment lady dancer 💃🏽 was phenomenal!!!

This place deserves more than five stars! It was so delicious! We started with refreshing drinks and finished with a three course dinner. The pretzel with beer cheese was divine. The salad was fresh and tasty. The main dish was soooo good!! I only wished it was closer to my house!! It is also located in an old building (bank?) that had character of itself. The restaurant decor and murals were also fabulous! Just go!!!
The food is great. My partner loved their steak. The service could have been better (waiter disappeared a lot. The Bus Boys were amazing. Honestly they did more than the waiter) The hostess was a really nice woman but the waiter to me felt like he didn't want to serve us. The food was exceptional. Had to take everything home after the meal. DO NOT FILL ON BREAD. Trust just get the salad and your meals and you will enjoy. Decor was great and pretty spacious.
Came looking for authentic Greek cuisine and was not disappointed. The menu has lots of great Greek options and the food was all delicious, fresh, generous, and made with good quality ingredients. It was a comfortable and friendly family-style place with nice service. Order the Greek coffee at the end! We will definitely be returning.
Horrible! I used to buy from this place a couple of years ago and their food was amazing. It had been a while so I decided to try again but omg the pizza arrived cold and hard, the “wedges” seemed more like pieces as if they were someone’s leftovers and the chicken was dry and chewy. Definitely do not recommend. What a shame the quality has gone downhill.
We had a moment of struggle to find the entrance since the directions brought us to a large brick building (former commercial laundry building). This building contains several businesses within, and if you enter the glass door on the east side (basically across Starbucks), just weave through the halls and you'll find Avli in the back on the west side of the building. You can also enter more directly from the West side if you want.

The service/speed of receiving our order was amazing. We also got there before everyone else, so I imagine we were the first table prepared.

Complimentary bread and butter, a chunky-ish but good hummus, pungent garlic tsaziki sauce, even amazing iced tea. I honestly can't complain about anything. Everything was really good! I left stuffed and happy.

Probably the best meal we had in Dallas- the brunch! Everything was perfect - the location, ambience, service, food and $$.

This is located in the Adolfus hotel - Such a pretty place!! The omelette was really good and highlight was the custard orange blossom- vanilla french toast - exceptional! We also got a side of the turkey sausage - house made - very flavourful!

This is a must try brunch place and I highly recommend it!

This was the most disgusting pizza. I've ever had. there was very little cheese if any, and the sauce is terrible. Also purchased a sub. that was slapped together, and tons of mustard and Mayo. I would not recommend this for your dog. Or your mother in law.
My wife and I and our friend came here to try Russian food. What we got was the most unforgettable experience and wonderful night! First off, the atmosphere is unique with a nice bar at one side facing a wall of books. Gives off a homey atmosphere. This leads up to a welcoming hostess, Marina. She was stupendous! She gave us several complimentary shots! We enjoyed the walnut shots, which was like a whiskey with a nice burning sensation. The food is both flavorful and presentation was alluring. We had the stuff cabbage, which is very big and tasty. And the grilled special, which is grilled lamb, chicken, meats, and veggies. The aroma and flavor of that is to die for! And its worth it with a group of 3 or 4. The three of us recommend to come here!

This was the best quality tasting pizza that I've tried in a very long time! Easy to order, nice delivery and over all 5 star experience for sure!!!
I made a brunch reservation through email. Marina was very sweet and responsive throughout our exchanges. When we arrived Saturday the staff was around but it seemed somewhat disorganized. Despite that my group and I had a wonderful time!! The ambiance and vibe were very unique!! We loved the decor. The food was delicious. I had the Kebab which was insanely tender and flavorful and the potato dumplings. Also very good!! I say give mishka a try. The other reviews did scare me a little but I’m glad we did come. Otherwise we would have missed out on such a wonderful gem!!
AMAZING place to enjoy Eastern European cuisine. The whole experience is very pleasant - delicious food, cozy atmosphere, you always feel welcome and relaxed! Highly recommend to stop by

This place feels like in an artistic beautiful environment. From cutlery to dining, from heating floor to mouth watering food, this restaurant would never leave me to amaze every time I visit.

The boy, Juan helped us to select best options from their vast Greek menu. Amazing place to spend beautiful time with beautiful people.

We recently hosted my daughter's baptism on the patio at Avli in Winnetka. We worked with Alex- he was great! We had 32 people - four tables of eight people. We were able to pick food for the apps/first course and then we had guests pick their main course. We brought in our own dessert- which is pretty standard for Greek baptisms (family enjoys baking traditional items). I was VERY impressed with how kind the staff was when I dropped off items the day prior. They also went out of their way to set-up the patio with the decor I brought. I drew them a picture of how I wanted the space to be & it was beautiful. The food was delicious & staff was very kind. I highly recommend hosting an event at the restaurant.

Visiting Avli April 2023, we found much disappointment. The food has really gone down hill over the past two years. I ordered their gyros plate for the first time thinking Greek restaurant it should be great! It was dry and tasteless. There was only one tomato slice and a few slivers of red onion. My wife ordered her usual skewered chicken, and it was over cooked and hardened on the skewers and the rice was overcooked and bland. The best dish ordered was the pasta with shrimp 🍤.
They serve cold bread and butter packs like a diner. We had to ask for olive oil, which is their own brand. We then had to ask for Parmesan cheese and pepper.
After dinning here many times, it has become a disappointment to say the least.
Prior review below.
The second time visiting Avli turned out much better than the first back in 2019. Sitting out in the courtyard allowed us to be more comfortable with Covid and all. The service was much improved from the prior time, as our waiter was personable and attentive but not over bearing. Even the busboys seemed to be better trained.
We started with a drink and dolmaldes while waiting for our guests. These dolmaldes were the best I’ve ever had. The plates was dressed with a slightly sweet amber sauce that contrasted the lemon tartness of the grape leaves, while the rice meat mixture was delicious. The menu has its basic Greek menu items and then the not so basic to chose from. I actually had the lamb chops with their Greek rice. The chops were ordered medium rare and very thin medium well came out. I didn’t send them back because they were well seasoned and tasty. Even the broccoli was well seasoned and grilled with just right amount for the grill browning and flavor. My mother-in-law is vegan, and there are plenty of items on the menu for her to order. The only desserts ordered were ice cream and the cheese cake. The cheese cake was ok but not great.
Please before you leave, look below 👇 and tap on the thumbs up 👍.
If you want to submerge yourself into Russian cuisine, but tired of old places such as Russian Tea Room, here is a new small but yet very flavorful place in Soho. You will get all traditional dishes with excellent service and live music. Plus the place features very interesting and artistic mural on the wall, so you can get some very cool pictures for your Instagram. The place isn't cheap, but worth to be there.

Fun, fun, fun! First time at this restaurant and I truly enjoyed myself. This place is so lively and definitely full of energy. The staff is so friendly and professional. The belly dancers interact with the customers making it and enjoyable experience. I was so entertained by watching people having so much and the food is amazing! The lamb chops are seasoned well and tender you definitely can’t go wrong with this dish.

I had an amazing time! I definitely will be back😉!
Had a good friends brunching time there. A very cute and cultural place with a more private outdoor dining area makes the pandemic eatout feel safer and more enjoyable. Food is delicious, and the waiters/waitresses are very attentive and friendly.

Customer service isn’t the greatest to say the least. Ordered the Family Pack #2 the wait time was 25-30 minutes for carry out I didn’t mind waited outside. There was a miscommunication with our order we got something we didn’t wont. To top it off we get home and the pizza’s where cold. Mind you we literally live 3 minutes away so it shouldn’t have been cold. Gave them a call and Jonathan reused to help or do anything regarding the wrong pizza and the food being cold. He literally acted like it wasn’t his problem. Biggest issue hands down is the lack of concern or willingness to help.

We been there quite a few time with family and friends. We all absolutely love this place and its our favorite for a good time. The belly dancers are lot of fun!!! Its a place where there no strangers everyone dance together, sing together and cheer for whoever birthday it is. It made us sad knowing this is their last weekend and hoping they get a new location. We will be there tonight and having a good time!! Thank you for making it enjoyable!! All the best to the staff

Pizza mania is decent pizza. Nothing special but good for the neighborhood it's in. The employees are nice and helpful but you can tell it's a small mom and pop shop. We picked these pizzas up for a production meal for a music video we were shooting. We had 7 pizzas, 3 pepperoni, 2 cheese and 2 chicken BBQ. The pepperoni was my favorite of the 3 types. I've definitely had better pizza but when I was asked a few people that came to pick up their pizzas they seemed to be fans of the pizza. So might just be opinion that there's better pizza out there.

Pizza is very dry, has no flavor, and the crust was hard. I didn’t like the dough, it seemed overcooked. The wings were raw and had no flavor. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you’re really hungry. The only thing my family enjoyed was the potato wedges and the soda was cold. 😊

I don’t know how all the other reviews are raving about this place.

The staff and atmosphere are the best part; the food, not so much. Our wine was sour, the chicken tasted old, the penne al vodka was bland, and the salad was extremely vinegary.

Been eating here for 20+ years. Food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Prices for dishes are way below the normal for such quality of food and service. The food is light and tasty, the way it's supposed to be; not overly cooked with butter and salt. Family owned and operated so you always get the best. Bringing friends and family here for years and everyone loves this place.
