What a treat it was to work with Jesse. He’s talented, creative, and adds a unique flavor to your wedding. Jesse takes his job seriously and it shows with the high quality equipment that he uses. His drone footage provided some fantastic footage of our wedding. Jesse carved time out of his schedule multiple times to meet us in person to get to know us as a couple to prepare for the wedding. Having these early introductions and conversations helped alleviate day-of-wedding stress. Jesse welcomed us each day of our wedding with a bright smile and offered help on multiple occasions if we needed any. He came to our venue early to scope out the property and gain an understanding of where events would take place, helping to visualize it before capturing it.
The videos that he created for us are truly breathtaking. The entire wedding weekend was captured perfectly and the story he put together on film is incredible. I write to express my great thanks for the competent and warm guidance I received from Zulema Morin as I organized an 80th birthday photo present of and for my husband.

One of the more expensive photo lab in the city. I wouldn’t recommend. Given that the stores develop films as their core business, they incorrectly developed my film and what I got back was so trash. They didn’t even think to send me an apology and probably hoped that I would overlook their mistake. You get 1 shot for your films to get developed and for mine to come out underdeveloped was not a good experience for me.
Generally, not happy with the results and price point of their money hungry business practices. Absolutely no integrity in their work.

I had needed a passport size photos for business reason and this establishment definitely came through professionally. Hidden deep in Chinatown. I found this spot by simply Googling. Everyone in this local business definitely was busy assistant customers literally walking in and out in a timely manner. I whole heartedly believe everyone in this business deserves a raise something from the city; because not only is the prices for their photos service is fair and of high quality. It’s just simply professional! My photos came out amazing. I walked in I was immediately greeted by an employee friendly and professionally! Skink Ink is an exceptional printing studio. An incredible artist friend whom I trust implicitly for the quality and execution of his work, had told me about them when I lived in Brooklyn, down the street from Skink Ink. Philip and his team are incredible; talented, diligent, meticulous, and overly generous with their advice and time. They treat you with care and consideration and make you feel like you are the most important artist and customer they've ever had. I have been working with them for almost a decade now and every single order, no matter how small or large has been delivered with efficiency, ease, and with the highest quality. I have a very hard time telling their print apart from my original watercolour painting. I was worried after moving to a different city that I wouldn't have the same access and service, but I was foolishly wrong. The package of 24 prints that arrived within 48 hours of shipping, was flawless. Each piece was thoughtfully packed with not one blemish. I cannot say enough about Philip, Casey, Ben, Vera, and the rest of the team who have helped me over the years. I am so grateful and so happy that I can proudly say my prints are from Skink Ink! I cannot imagine there is a better printing studio out there!

came in on a late sunday afternoon with 1 roll to get developed, the service was fast and kind! cash only, 1 roll was $20! the turnaround was quick, i got these back today :). usually it takes 2-3 days and the quality is always amazing!! my go-to spot to get any film developed in new york!

I’ve been coming here for over 2 years now for film development and scanning and I’m obsessed with everything about Pro Image!! They have given me my film back as quick as an hour, the longest I’ve ever waited was 6 hours. The scan quality is pretty HQ even if you don’t pay extra for high-res. I’m not a professional photographer, but have taken over 2k film pictures, been to countless places for film development and Pro Image is really best of the best!!
Called in last minute on Sunday to take passport photos, and Maria was so willingly to accommodate me even though the studio was closed on a Sunday. Pictures look fire! Definitely recommend!

I had some rare artwork that I had retouched that I brought to Duggal for an enlargement. They gave me several options including ones that I hadn't considered along with finishings on the print itself and how that would work in conjunction with the frame that I plan to use with it. The information and service they provided was above and beyond. Duggal representative Zee was most helpful and showed interest in how I was using the print as well as the wall it would be displayed on and all the details you can imagine regarding all of that. So glad I wanted to Duggal and had Zee as my representative. She is an obvious asset to the company. Should I ever need another enlargement again it will be the only company I would consider.
Best photo store that I have ever been to. Employees are kind and knowledgeable. My photos were given in a timely manner and it was not a long wait. This place is also affordable compared to other places I have called. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
We hired Maria for our daughters Sweet 16. We are so glad we did. Not only were our daughters photos amazing, but the entire experience on that day was incredible. Additionally, Maria helped us create the most unique thank you cards where we got the most positive feedback. Without hesitation would I reach out to her again.
First I went to Fedex. After many attempts they couldn't reduce a colored image from 8.5 x 11 to half that size. In desparation I went down Broadway to Pro Image. I encounter Eliana and Grace. Could not have been more helpful and charming. Every time I encountered a glitch, they were there in a nanosecond. The end product was fabulous. I told them they should put out a sign "We specialize in helping Seniors and computer novices at no extra charge". They said weren't allowed to and have to rely on word of mouth and GOOGLE REVIEWS. thank you, thank you, thank you Eliana and Grace.

The place is spacious and their photographic services cater to everything you can think of for the working professional. I started coming here when labs started screwing up my work orders. These guys do the job without any fuss. Prices are clearly advertised online as well as printed. The place is really clean. Whether it's a display case , large format prints, to making inter negatives for platinum printing, they do it all.
If you’re looking for European (Greek) passport photos , don’t waste your time with the other photographers listed on the Greek Consulate’s recommendations page. Maria was super-responsive, accommodating with appointment times and clearly understands the standards & expectations for picture quality expectations/processing passports in Greece.
I’ve been coming here for around a year and I’ve always been super happy with their work. The staff is all very chill, patient, and helpful as I’ve been learning more about film photography, and I’m always very happy with the scans/prints. And they have a great selection of film, some cameras, frames, and accessories! Here’s a few shots they’ve developed for me just to show their nice work unedited, all shot on 35mm film either full or half-frame.

Duggal has done excellent work for me for many years. Zulema Morin, who has always helped me, has been a joy to deal with at every point. She has helped and advised me in the restoration of an entire archive of historical family photos. The results of her work and advice have been excellent, and the restored photos, all framed in our home, bring me and my family great joy and satisfaction.
Jesse was awesome to work with and was a great wedding videographer from beginning to end. He was very responsive and answered all the questions that we had. We met with him virtually before the wedding where he got to know both of us. The day of the wedding, he had great energy and made us feel very comfortable. He worked very well with the photographer, DJ, and the venue. I highly recommend using Visual Film Events for you wedding videographer. Trust me, you’ll want a videographer to capture the beautiful moments of your wedding! We couldn’t be more thrilled with him!

I love working with Skink Ink! I am new to reproducing my watercolors. I didn't understand what I needed to do for scanning and reproducing my artwork as giclee prints, but with wonderful customer service and guidance, they made the whole process easy to understand and seamless. Of course, the best part is that the scans of my artwork and archival prints they create from the scans always look as beautiful as my originals. They are true artists who know how to capture the original perfectly. I highly, highly recommend Skink Ink!

With the help of the friendly and professional staff, everything I wasn't sure of or undecided on before was replaced by an informed design choice and an overall feeling of joy- and most importantly confidence that the prints will look great! Well today I picked them up- and I'm over the moon🌙 they are beautiful! I couldn't be happier with them! 😢 I genuinely thank you, skink ink and am grateful for your service.

I found Lizzy to photograph my proposal in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. She was absolutely amazing to work with! Booking an appointment was very easy and she worked with me every step of the way to coordinate meeting me in the gardens to capture the proposal.
After the proposal we did photos in a few spots around the gardens. It honestly felt like I was working with an old friend.
The photos came out amazing, she even was able to get a few done within a few hours for me to share them with family and friends to announce the engagement.

Damaged my film. Scans were subpar and required a lot of touching up to be useable. Even more disappointing is the staff. Across the board each staff made me feel as they were doing me a favor at every turn and I left each time with an icky feeling. Safe to say I won't be returning.
Lovely and clean daylight studio. The spacious areas are perfectly distributed and it always creates a great atmosphere for working. The freight elevator to the studio and the really helpful staff make it one of my favorites.
Jesse is outstanding!! He took the time to get to know us before our wedding day to make sure he understood us as a couple and what vibe we were looking for. Amazing service, extreme quality. I have exhibited my photos in major museum/auction house with the print from Skink Ink, always top of the line quality and I never had a problem with the most picky collector. Lizzy is an absolute pleasure to work with! We used her for our family portraits and again for professional headshots. Both times the photos came out beautifully! The best photo studio in Brooklyn and possibly all of NYC. Have worked on several video shoots here and I am always impressed by the level of care and detail that goes into making everything run smoothly. The dressing room area is also well equipped and provides privacy, which is a rarity. Impeccably designed (it looks like from the pages of an architectural magazine), all the details are as functional as they are pleasing to look at. It makes a world of difference to anyone shooting there.
This is such a great studio space for video & photo shoots with lots of available light and also a spacious outside deck! On top the Managing staff is hands-on amazing...highly recommended!

There are truly not enough words to express how wonderful it is working with Lizzy. She is phenomenal! We were fortunate to find Lizzy thanks to the many wonderful posts on Yelp and google to photograph my family while in NYC for my dad's 80th birthday. Aside from the fact that the photos were just perfect and exceeded every expectation, she is an absolute joy to work with. She made everyone feel comfortable and completely captured the essence of our wacky family. My entire family loved her and that is saying something. I am particularly grateful to her for being mindful of my mom's mobility issues and ensuring she did not have to walk far to capture perfect pictures. We found Lizzy through various recommendations on Park Slope Parents and couldn't be happier with her photography. We used her for both pregnancy photos and photos of our 2 week old newborn and family and not only is she amazing with children, but she managed to perfectly capture these special moments for us. Lizzy is so easy to work with and is great at listening and tailoring her shots to each family's specific requests. I highly recommend Lizzy and plan to use her again in the future!
We loved working with Lizzy!! We chose the hybrid session for our family portraits, and the pictures are just amazing! She was so great at working with all of us, including our almost 2-month-old, who was so engaged throughout the shoot, and our 9-year-old, who said that he had so much fun while taking the pictures. Got a large painting printed here to hang on my wall. Had to order from the stock sizes, but they were kind enough to cut it to the frame size for me. Perfect fit for the frame, and the colors look great! Would definitely recommend for large and high-quality jobs like this.
One of the best daylight studios in Brooklyn. Windows fully line two walls, so you have amazing versatility and lighting options throughout the day (with blackout curtains as needed). Beautiful cement floor, in-house studio rentals, a spacious styling room, freight elevator. Truly all you need in a photo studio. Highly recommend!

Lizzy is great. Our family just finished our third session with her in the past two years and we already have purchased another for the future. Pre kids I was always smirking at these family photo shoots my friends did, but look at me now. I blame Lizzy. She makes it fun and easy. The photos come out fantastic and we look natural- like we are enjoying each other, not posed like mannequins. I recommend her regularly to friends and folks that I happen to marry (I am a marriage officiant hobbyist). I plan on keeping up this series of child-tossing photos as long as possible.
It is a great place to get work done. Digital, prints,Photoshop,ect. David great guy to work with will give you 100% of his talents.
Look no further when it comes to a high quality Studio in NYC, this is the answer. When having to shoot in-studio I opt for a budget that will incorporate the very best, and Vandervoort's just that. I've never had a negative experience here, love the amenities and appreciate how superb the staff scores in professionalism!! Huge shoutouts to Anastasia, Vadim and the team over there, they're truly incredible!
Lizzy is amazing. She is fun to work with, a great communicator, she got so many different backgrounds in in such a short amount of time, fastest turnaround on the hi res photos. And the quality was perfect!! Couldn't be happier that we found her. We will absolutely use her again for our next family session.
This tour was at the end of an exhausting week on a cruise. It was everything though. He sparked enthusiasm with us through photography and stories. It was super fun and I highly recommend!!

I went as part of a school trip a few years back and this tour was one of the most memorable parts of the whole trip. Ibrahima’s knowledge of the city and his vibrant personality combined for a very memorable experience.

I’ve worked out of this location for two shoots & every time felt like the first time. From the movie like shaft elevator, high ceilings & beautiful natural light beaming from the huge windows it’s the perfect place for almost everything! The employees are so accommodating, upon arriving they are always eager to assist & answer any pressing questions one may have. I also love that there’s a separate space/room with a door for privacy. Having an on-site mini kitchen area with a sink & small fridge is a huge plus. With options to use their chairs, tables, slippers, robs, building ramp, steamer on wheels, sturdy clothing racks, some hangers, a ladder & lastly roof access perfect for any kind of creative storytelling or video content. Overall, it’s a great location/business I highly recommend!
Michael is a gifted photographer. He took several photographs of me ( portraits, some posed, a few candid); the photographs showcased his talents at not simply capturing his subjects ( as this case me) but also his keen sense of angles, framing, lighting and that extra knack for taking the shot at just the right moment when all these elements are present thereby showing his subjects at their very best. Highly recommended!
I had the most amazing experience shooting a boudoir photo session with Michael. He is professional and at the same time fun, friendly, and relaxed. He makes you feel at ease while handling every aspect of the process skillfully, constantly being inspired by the vibe of the shoot, so you end up with a set of images that look effortless yet polished and beautiful. Not sure what I loved more: the experience itself or the images that came out of it. :) I think everyone should increase their confidence and sense of their own beauty by doing a boudoir shoot... and Michael is the most wonderful person to do it with. 10 stars ;)

Can't say enough good things about this place! These guys always deliver exactly what I want and always on time.
We took a tour with Alex as our driver and Ibrahim as our tour guide. Alex picked us up exactly on time at the cruise terminal after a 7 day cruise. There were 13 of us, we then proceeded to pick up the tour guide in downtown New York. Ibrahim with Alex navigating the unbelievable traffic gave us a wonderful overview of New York. some of our party has never been, while Some have been many times ~ this was the very best way to end our vacation.Thank you Ibrahim and Alex.
