Went to the store after viewing their IG for the last 6 months, finally made it to the store with intentions of buying living room and bedroom furniture in CASH. I get in the store with 5k in my purse and NOT ONE PERSON came to help me after walking around for 15 minutes so I turned around and left, and no one tried to stop me or anything . So I went to living spaces and got just what I needed! NEVER AGAIN WILL I WASTE GAS COMING to that hole in the wall

Last month I brought a project to Decor. The New Yorker magazine ran an article about my work at NYC Parks, which included a personal caricature. I purchased an original print of the caricature and asked Decor to frame it for me as a gift for my parents. Yosof suggested I also include a copy of the article as a second panel in the frame. He offered to do the layout if I could send him a link to the article. I wasn't confident in how it look but I decided to take his advice and go for it. When I picked it up a couple weeks later, I was absolutely delighted to see how well it turned out. The quality of workmanship was immediately apparent. The caricature and article were laid out in perfectly balanced symmetry within the frame. Decor clearly put significant effort and care into creating this new family keepsake. My parents absolutely love it and have featured it prominently in their house. I have since recommended Decor to several friends and associates. I look forward to working with them again.

Roberto, Crystal and the Paris Frameworks team always take the upmost care and attention to detail to deliver exquisite quality to whatever your budget and timeline is. They communicate clearly and always deliver on those promised timelines. The on-site workshop makes a huge difference to artwork handling and their packaging and wrapping is excellent. I can’t recommend them enough.

The only issue is that there a few weeks behind schedule (they sent me a bottle of red wine to compensate for that) and the job was highly overprice. My next piece I got it done @ Blick, with the same quality and less than half the price. I will never comeback.

I am already a faithful customer of this place. They framed three art pieces for me and they all came out looking really gorgeous. They advise you, show you different options. I am going back for more frming for sure.
Had the pleasure of working with Joe on custom framing an oversized movie poster. I went through a few different framing vendors but NYC FRAMES provided the most competitive price and quickest turn around time. They were able to finish the frame in less than a week’s time while still maintaining excellent craftsmanship. Will definitely be returning to this shop for future framing needs.
I was running out of time because staples and FedEx had messed me over with printing. These guys made me a customized frame in less than hour I kid you not. They saved my life.
NYC Frames was fantastic! I recently had them frame an odd/oversized vintage movie poster. It was such a relief having someone handle the artwork with care and deliver a beautifully framed piece back in record time. I received quotes from other frame companies and art stores who wanted to charge me high rates with poor quality frames and glass. Joe at NYC Frames gave me a very fare rate, a great selection of frame wood, and he personally cuts the UV protective/museum glass. He even gave me a kit to mount my heavy frame on dry wall, no extra fee. I will definitely be returning to frame more art work.

I’ve been coming to WSF for years now, even after we moved out of the neighborhood. Koyuz is a professional. We had our wedding photos framed here, and also had a massive WWI poster done with a heavy frame, double velvet mats, and museum glass. You could hang these in a museum and they’d look right at home. Pricing is commensurate with the quality of work. If I have something nice, I take it to West Side Frame Shop. Highly, highly recommend.👍

Exquisite workmanship at this establishment. You immediately know you're in excellent hands when you walk through the door. Hidden Gem, for sure. Hugo and Golan have a great eye, and David is clearly the OG of this establishment. He packed the piece with such care that I was almost embarrassed that it wasn't a unique masterpiece.

Brought our house window to Marquez Glass and they fixed it the same day. They were very friendly, did great work and charged a reasonable price. I will definitely go back to them with any other Glass work I need.

I bought a new matress and box spring (not memory foam , not refurbished) in December 2021 and it sunk in on tge aide I sleep on already I paid $500. I only weight 140lbs. Bad quality for the price I am very disappointed that I will need to buy a new matress else where
2 Stars because the quality of their frames is actually really good. However, their business practices are highly questionable. I went in to frame my first piece and got a quote from a young man working there. He said he couldn't give me an exact price but would be in the ballpark of $4-500. I said okay, and left him with the piece. I received a call later that day from what I believe was the owner and he said it was going to be just over $900. It was my first time framing something and I loved the piece so I did it even though it did seem high. I brought back another piece by the same artist, only a bit bigger than the last time. I had a friend drop it off for me since I was traveling, and when she got the phone call from the owner he said it would be about $1400. I have my friend get the piece back and to not go with this business, but when she gets there he says he can now do it for $900. At this point I realize this guy is completely ripping me off and probably did as well with the first one so I will take my business elsewhere from now on. As a small business owner myself that takes great pride in customer service, it is very sad to see another take advantage of a customer with little knowledge of their business. I understand COVID was probably rough on you, but DO BETTER. Buyer Beware.
Always friendly staff. Huge selection of frames. They donan excellent job making framing recommendations. Result always looks great. Probably had 10 pieces of art framed over past 5 - 7 years. Not inexpensive but worth knowing how the art will look when finished.

I am very pleased I decided to come here. I was looking for portrait frames for custom art I had made. I went to other places and they were nowhere as friendly and helpful as David is. When you walk in, he has a rescue from Thailand and is trying to get her used to people (especially considering what she went through). He greeted me and had a really pleasant smile and vibe to him. He was patient, understanding, and most of all, HONEST. I understand that people have to run a business, but some people are really sneaky, but I didn't get that vibe from him.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Decor Gallery and Framing at 222 3rd Ave! I had 5 different pieces of art that all needed to be framed, and the people at Decor really took the time to walk me through a range of frames at various prices that were all super high quality. They really care and are so friendly! There are options, from super premium, to affordable and still high quality. Secondly, they had a very quick turnaround and rushed my order such that I could have art on my walls before my birthday dinner. Finally, they really went the extra mile - they helped me carry and load my frames into my car when done. David also made a tweak to one of my frames, and even offered to drop it off on his way home! It was such amazing service - thanks again, Decor!!!

I brought in a broken piece of stained glass. The owner found matching glass for most of it and did a great job problem solving when there was no match. I’m not an expert so I don’t know how much it should cost but it felt fair to me and the final product was great. She even fixed the hook without me asking. Basically she went above and beyond.
Cannot recommend this shop enough! I had a poster I've been meaning to frame for over a year. Finally, I ordered a frame through Amazon that didn't fit my poster and looked/felt cheaply made. After returning, I went to this shop and got an incredible price on a framing job for the poster. It only took a few days for them to have it ready for pickup, the service was great, and the framing job was incredible! It might be more money than a cheap frame at Amazon but you will not regret the result and you get to support a local business during this time. I will definitely be back when I have to frame something else.

I applied to this company and I’m great full i did not start work here because people there discriminate against people and lack of professionalism. Especially the manager Stephanie lacks ethics that at the last minute sends a message to say that you do not need to show up to work because they are not going to hired people anymore and the same day she Made another post that they are hiring.

DO NOT DISPLAY YOUR WORK HERE! I had 3 original drawings displayed here. I delivered them in December, and finally in April I called because I haden't heard anything from them. First, they didn't know my name (if you have 3 pieces of someones artwork up in your small store, shouldn't you know those artists names?). I asked them if I could come pick it up because I wanted to display them somewhere else, and they said "sure come whenever," with no care in the world. When I got there, one of my pieces was on the floor. All 3 pieces were COVERED in dust. One of them, looks like someone spilt coffee on it, and it went under the glass and the matte in the frame soaked it up, because it had a stain all over the left bottom corner of the matte. They don't have any respect for the artwork or the artist.
Wonderful custom made furniture. The female employee is so knowledgeable of all the furniture displayed in-store and in the catalogues. Prices are hard to beat considering the quality of the product are second to none. I've purchased a dining room table with 8 high chairs and 3 dressers. Merchant offers prompt local delivery. I definitely recommend this furniture store and their quality products. The store moved a few years back so make sure you have their correct address.

My painting had smudges and fingerprints! I figured because they've been in the area for a while that they would at least respect an oil painting. It was completely unprofessional and something that is completely unexpected.
Went to have the 2 frames fixed. It took a week and absolutely no work was done. They did refund my money, but mentioned that they can fix it 10x what was quoted.

This continues several times, and I'm told two weeks in they tried to install a cheaper glass and it just wasn't working, that they need more time. Finally it's ready on 19 January, more than three weeks later, and I am charged $270, almost double the quote. Having been without the work for almost a month, I grudgingly pay, just so I can have the piece back.
Two months pass. The glass starts to lift. Annoyed, but assuming they will take responsibility and fix at no cost, I drop the piece off again 26 March 2018. Again, "a couple of days." I check in two days later. "Need more time, another few days." Check in again, "need more time." On 11 April, I swing by. Piece is not ready -- hasn't even been worked on, so I just take the poorly framed work home with me, completely frustrated.
Short of the long, in a span of 19 weeks, they had my piece for six weeks, charged me near double for shoddy work they wouldn't fix. I CANNOT recommend this place -- find the multitude of others that are better. I have.

I went here to have my NYU Senior Thesis Exhibition images framed. Obviously, this event was extremely important to me as it was the culmination of four years in University. After visiting many frame stores none of which felt right, I accidentally stumbled upon Decor Art Gallery. Raichan was extremely friendly right off the bat and made me feel much less anxious about making the right framing choices. She knew exactly what would look best with my work and made me feel confident in my final decision. She then quoted me about $100 less than any framer I have been to previously. She also gave me a great discount considering I was framing five VERY large photographs. (47in x35in). Considering this was my thesis project, I was an anxious mess and worried about my pieces being in good hands, but throughout the entire process, Raichan was on my team. Each piece I had framed was so carefully handled and given lots of care and respect. Everything was on time (even when I had to ask for the pieces to be ready earlier than I had first said). Each piece was carefully bubble wrapped and Raichan even carried them herself to my car. My framed work looks amazing and Raichan was not a pleasure, but an absolute joy to work with. If I ever need anything framed again, I know exactly where I'm going. Raichan is a gem.

These guys are top notch! I had an old map from 1890 that was folded up in my bookcase for a long time. Two weeks ago I finally decided to get it framed, so that I and everyone else visiting can admire it's beauty – much like back when map making was genuinely considered true art. I googled 'picture framing' and New Yorker Picture Frames was the one I picked because of the good things I read about them. And it's true, the result is absolutely spectacular! I love the craftsmanship, detailing and cleanliness. I would never have imagined it would look so good. They have been very helpful with picking the materials I loved and wanted, and their tremendous experience immediately came to light.

Alex from Blueline etched a bunch of decorative floral panels for a restaurant I was designing. He delivered a great product and on time. He is a great artist who designed the panels himself, they weren't computer clip art designs like most amateur etchers use. I am already working on a second project with him.
