Celebrated my husband’s birthday here tonight with a crew of 14 people! The food was fantastic! Everyone at the table said how excellent their food was prepared and tasted! Definitely 5 Stars!
I was shocked to find so much obviously fresh fare, not off a Ben E Keith truck or pulled from a freezer. And in the middle of nowhere. Shocked. The lasagna was better than my own homemade. Freshly prepared marinara (not from a can or jar). Just amazing. Others in our party had seafood and chicken dishes as well as sandwiches. Amazingly…..it was all delicious and fresh. Someone has found a CHEF, not a cook. Just wow.
Such an amazing aquarium. Enjoyed all the sea animals. It was cool to see how rain falls in a different climate too. Love the mantis shrimp and jelly fish. I was surprise to see non-marine animals too! They had an area where you can pet the mantis rays. Also a cleaning section to wash your hands before and after touching them.
The house was a luxury option but was in not the best of shape. There was an hour delay on check in due to maintenance issues and there were little to no amenities (be sure to bring your own trash bags and soap). The theater didn’t work and the coffee package was three huge filters that didn’t fit and a small can of Foldgers for $30. I wouldn’t waste your money on that. They also nickel and dime you for service requests making it unlikely you’ll actually ask for service. This was my second trip but I won’t rebook. There are Hilton vacation club options that are nicer for the same price just down the street.
Great little aquarium with some unique exhibits, like the wet zone and the animatronic eagle and rattle snake. Small, but uses its space well. I would give it a 5/5 except that there are tigers in this aquarium in a space much too small for their needs.
I ate lunch here today and it was Terrific! I follow them on Facebook and thought if I'm in the area I'm stopping to eat. I had the shrimp Cajun pasta and it came with a salad it was so delicious if your ever in the area you have got to stop in for a meal. The service was Great the manager was very nice and gave me more information about the RV park too. They have a very nice place atmosphere was great too TV's so you can watch sports a big bar. Definitely going back!
Not to big but not too small. My kids really enjoyed it for the most part. I will say the big negative was some of the staff. They were absolutely very rude. I can understand and appreciate that there is definitely some issues inside how they run the place. However I do strongly disagree that taking your frustration out on guests is not the correct way to handle things either. I think overall the whole experience was good and kid friendly, just certain staff avoid if possible.
Don’t waste your hard earned money . We rented a house with a pool. Came all the way from Toronto. We are very easy going. We paid for a heated pool since it’s 60 degrees out. Extra $450 for the week. Pool heater was broken, management did not respond at all the our many phone calls. With 8 kids with us all they wanted was some pool time and no one seemed to care. 261 Burma street. Internet keeps going out, alarm for door outside kept ringing, kids were miserable. Honestly the worst thing in the world is bad customer we service and this place was that.
We rented a vacation home for our winter break. Jeeves is the property management for the house we are staying at. They are absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received staying at a rental. We were at 261 Burma St. We paid for a heated pool for the week since we have 8 kids with us. We called management numerous times and to be honest they don’t care at all. No one cared to fix the pool we are not able to use, yet paid EXTRA to heat it.
Save your money and book at a place that cares about customer service. Especially at the price they are charging to stay at these rentals.

Nice clean houses. If you want to use the community "resort, pool, restaurant", I would recommend staying on the WEST side (not the EAST side properties). Resort area managed by another 3rd party, and requires it's own check-in and must buy food & drinks from them. Resort pool was advertised as hot/warm, but it was ice cold in Dec. Private pool was also ice cold in Dec. We paid $50/day to heat it up, and it didn't work for the first two days, and then when it worked it was too hot to use. Front desk refunded the heating money, and shut it down. My kids were not able to enjoy the pool/jacuzzi. Friendly staff, good service. Easy checkout instructions.

Excited to get down here and enjoy our vacation, but found out that our house was no longer available and they tried to “figure it out”
The front desk manager said he didn’t know anything about it since he got in at 2 pm so it wasn’t his problem 😂
We basically had to call another hotel and check in and cancel our trip to this location. One of the worst experiences we had, they completely failed any part of customer service and professionalism.

A fantastic experience for our family vacation. The house was perfectly laid out with plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone. It was great to have a full kitchen so we could eat in when we wanted to. The water park was great but the weather was cold so we didn't personally use it. We used the fitness center almost daily. The on-site restaurant was a hit. So was the complimentary shuttle to amusement parks. The staff at Encore are wonderful. When our rental car battery died, they even gave us a jump! Definitely above and beyond. We will be back!
It was our first visit to the aquarium. After a delicious meat/cheese tray, we enjoyed a buffet fit for a king. They allow you to take drinks into the exhibit area. We'll definitely have to bring our grandsons here.
Very convenient shuttle just a phone call away to get you around the resort. Water park was nice for a family, they let you drink in the lazy river which was exhilarating. I also liked that they had towels on site free to use
This is an awesome property for families and friends of all ages to come together and spend high quality time. There are so many things to do in this community- the water part is so much fun, the walking trails, Tennis Court, Beach Volleyball, etc all make it so much fun. Also, the encore staff is just awesome. They are welcoming and warm and go above and beyond to make our stay really great. Even days, when my family and I stayed back in the resort, the experience was fantastic.
Such a nice family getaway whether for a short weekend or for the entire week. I've been here several times over the years & always have a great time. Big comfy bed in private bedroom plus large fold out couches, spacious bathroom, full kitchen & dinning room area.
Husband and I had some mixed drinks, meals, and enjoyed the karaoke! Our bartender Ashlynn was amazing. We've had her as our server before and she is super sweet, gives excellent service, and always has a smile. The food was very delicious and came out in a timely manner. They also had karaoke tonight and that was fun and enjoyable as well. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!
We had a great experience at the restaurant. Very pleasant and friendly. Renee was especially hospitable and took care of our needs. I wish all waitresses were like here. Definitely coming back!! Excellent chicken fried steak. Everything I have ate there is very good.
First timers for us to the Lost Frontier restaurant & we were Impressed! The service was astounding! Rene was our server & we had lots of questions & she answered them all. Super friendly & helpful as we are new to the area. We ordered an appetizer of chips & salsa & queso, fresh chicken fried steak & nachos. Large portions, food was served fast & it was all delicious! The restaurant was very clean. We Will Be Back! Thanks again Rene⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wonderful water park, very friendly staff. The line for the season pass was a bit long to get the first time, but the staff was working hard.
Good choice of rides, lots of options for everyone. Lines for the rides were about what I expected. Campus was clean, but I did not stay overnight so I can't speak to the cabins or camping areas.

Stopped in for quick lunch, our waitress, Renee, was exceptional. Before we even decided on what to drink, she had samples at the table. While waiting on our food, she offered to bring salads. After eating, I moved my plate to the side(to take the rest to-go) - she immediately came over to make sure that I liked the food. We assumed she must own the restaurant; she told us that she did not but very much enjoyed working here. It was absolutely obvious!!!! Great place to stop in and eat!
The campground is clean and beautiful right on the lake. We enjoyed our stay was originally 5 nights but stayed 7 and they were very accommodating! The shuttle service was certainly the way to go - very easy to be dropped off and picked up at many locations. Kayla was the best - (she wasn’t leaving us lost in the Opryland area.). She is a dedicated worker that’s for sure! Overall we would stay here again .

We stayed in an RV site at the Campground. Some of the RV sites have a beautiful view of the lakeside. Campground is generally quiet, there is a water park next doors, but was not really noisy at all! They have live music on select days. Lots of fun things to do in Nashville and the campground runs a shuttle to the major attractions. We will definitely stay here again!
This place is always great fun! Lines not too long. It's not too spread out. About the right amount of attractions. Although have only gone twice this year due to distance, I'm still glad I bought season tickets on sale for fam of 4. This time was able to take 3 kids friends along for free admission. Def worth purchasing again! Love this place!
Elizabeth the Front Desk Check In Attendant and Sarah, the Guest Service Manager were wonderful. They were attentive to our needs & professional. Although the house we stayed at had several issues, these 2 made up for it by being professional, proactive, proficient and personable. The customer service they exhibited and willingness to address concerns make us want to return in the near future. Please reward both of them for a job well done!

South Bay Shores is one not to be missed summer fun destination. The water park at the California Great America has multiple slides, boating like experience at the rushing river where you can lie down on a big inflatable tube, the tide pool offering experience of the ocean waves, sprinkles and bucket splash for kiddies to do some rain dance. The height of the slides varies for all ages. Though some of the big ones were closed when we visited.
The South Bay shores is open only until Sep 4 2023. The park opens intermittently on weekends. Do check the calendar if you plan to go. Saturdays are usually the best days when the CGA is open until 10 while the waterpark closes at 6. So you can combine it with some other activities after that.
The waterpark has plenty of changing rooms. It has a shop in case you forgot to carry any of your swimwear and locker facility for those wanting to secure their items before hitting the water. Waterproof lanyard with touch is highly recommended to capture some memories and keep your phone safe during the activities. Life jackets are available for all ages. Gold America Seasons pass members enter free. This waterpark is comparable or may be bigger than the one at Legoland. Happy summers!!

The lifeguards are extremely rude. Every single one of them I had to deal with had a bad attitude. I was told to remove my stud earing before entering a slide which is honestly ridiculous. My son who burns easily was told to remove his swim shirt before he could ride a slide. We complied and then I watched a ton of women let up to ride the slide with their stud earrings in, and a ton of people let up to slide with swim shirts on. There was zero consistency, and almost like we were singled out. I won't be back. I can spend my cash at a far better park with staff that aren't rude to me.
Great water play area for all age groups. From the big waves on the bay shore, baby toddler paddle pool, spray park and also the big water rides, solo mini rapids and water flumes. Great place to coolo down from the scorching sun
The place itself is pretty fun with nice waterslides and activities in the water but the price for the place is super high and you need to pay extra for the waterslides.

They are clean and friendly. There is always an ice cream truck parked out front. There is an amazing brand new large clean playground just 20 steps away from the splash pad.
Dirty water, slanted beach and picnic sites, rocks everywhere and $20 per person, no capacity, people were all piled up on each other..
Great place for kids. My Son absolutely loves it. There are lifeguards on duty and they play good music. No entry fees.
South Bay Shores, the new waterpark at Great America, is a fantastic addition! The park's design is impressive, featuring new slides, restaurants, and plenty of seating. The wave pool and lazy river are especially enjoyable, catering to those who prefer a more relaxed experience. They offer convenient amenities like lockers, including extra-large ones, and cabanas available for rent. The Sand Bar next to the wave pool serves beer on tap and delicious flatbread pizza. Additionally, there's a Dip 'n Dots cart for tasty treats. Changing rooms and bathrooms are readily available, ensuring no long waits in line. However, some visitors have experienced frustratingly long lines at the restaurants, and the quality and pricing at Pier 76 were disappointing. On the bright side, Shark Bites provided a great experience with delicious food.
This place is a hidden gem. Street parking, I didn't see a lot. Was crowded but didn't feel like it! My 2 yr old enjoyed. Plenty for a range of ages
Small water park, good for kids and families. The park includes, wave pool, a small lazy river, some water tube slides, and kiddie areas. Now as far as food options; the park has pizza, chicken tenders, chips, funnel cakes, dip n dots, cheese burgers and French fries. If you're looking for good food I'd say theirs is definitely not a good option. Food priced range in the 10 dollar range. Cleanliness of the park is just ok, it is definitely dated and there are areas that need to be attended to and cleaned or painted. Bring your own towels they do not provide any for their guests. Lockers are available for rental. Cabanas are limited and if you don't book one in advance you're out of luck. But there are a few shaded picnic tables at the entrance of the park. Other than that the entire park is open and out in the sun with limited shade. The beach area is small with a large lake water inflatable playground area. Overall we were a family of 5 and had a blast with two small children.
Our lake front site was perfect! The view was amazing! The early morning breeze coming through the RV windows was a welcoming feeling to open your eyes and take in the gorgeous view. The duck wildlife along with watching others jet skiing right from our site was entertaining. The staff was wonderful and security was very friendly and present! The sites are narrow with approximately 5ft of grass around concrete pad. Our site, 32, had a significant crumbling cracked corner so our RV could not be backed in all the way and keep the one Jack out of the crack. This caused a slight concern for parking precisely each day we moved our truck. When walking through the RV sites, you can tell they are slowly working on and fixing the RV site pads with new concrete. We went jet skiing and found the staff to be very safe and patient in teaching new riders. Highly recommend making a reservation. There is a private RV beach, however it would be nice to have access to a pool after the waterpark closes. We happened to be here during several days of a heat advisory for the region and an early evening swim in a pool would have been refreshing. The camper discounts on admission is nice to all the attractions. We are highly considering making this an annual summer spot!
I mean it suppose to be “Family Environment Park” some of the staff in this park really don’t have value in doing the right thing for their customers.. I get it there is no refund or what not but come on I took my 3 young kids, new born and my wife and arrived at 1:30pm spend about 100 dollars to enter. Then by 1:50pm we found a table settle our stuff down and the. Spend money on the food for lunch and 3 wrist band for the kids at 15 dollars each that they did not used. By 2pm it started raining. I’m currently still here and the rain it’s not stopping 3:30pm . I asked if I could come another day since we have not gotten in the water or anything.. ohh the older male on the golf cart was so nasty when I asked him a question .. I didn’t want my refund just wanted to see after spending almost 300 dollars in the park in 30 min and now with rain if I could come back tomorrow. But with his nasty and poor customer services I just decided to cut my losses . I would still came tomorrow and they would gotten more money out of me . but I guess they are not doing so well that they can’t even empathize with their customers. Oh well lost a valuable family.. very disappointed… there a couple of lake in the area … 2 car prior to us leaving got a refund but because they got to the park at 1:50 ten min before it rain…but I couldn’t .. that a bit racist wonder why… the elderly male in the golf cart I guess he the spoke man because he said “ you knew the weather that not our problem ” is that a fact or speculation?

I did like this park, but don’t really feel the life guards pay to much attention to the kids. I also feel that they can do a much better job with keeping it clean, but over all it’s a cute local spot for kids.
We didn't stay on property so can't rate the property. But 5 stars on the water park and staff!! We had a blast. We had three generations here. And all age groups had an awesome time. Staff is very friendly. And make your visit fun and memorable. They have several slides to choose from. Both raft and body slides. The lazy river is long and fun. Wave pool has a giant video screen that entertains you in-between waves with music videos n more. We cannot comment enough on how friendly the staff are. Wherever you go they are engaging.
The service was great. Our waitress was kind & sweet. Our food was seasoned great and had enough to bring home. Everything was delicious 😋.

Wonderful personnel at this adorable tiny water park. On a sunny day, I went with my lovely daughter, and it was the most enjoyable experience ever. There is no membership fee, no residency requirement, just a warning: cotton clothing will enrage the lifeguard.

Pros: Fantastic water park with plenty of rides for (mostly) all ages, though in most of the rides they ask for 48". The water structure, along with the two swimming pools are great for young kids. There are a couple of restaurants nearby where you can grab food and drinks. Also, there are some lockers for a price

Super friendly lake for kids! There are a lot of slides for kids to go in. Have a lot of parking.
Nice place to go with small kids. A wave pool it's exciting for kids. Water seems clean. Splashing area is kids friendly. There are tons of lifeguards and security people around water.
I've come a couple times now and each time I have come there is someone smoking by the door. There should be signs posted saying no smoking and they should not be lenient with smokers when so many children are present. They should also move the trashcan/ash tray away from the front entrance.

They let my Highschool daughter in because she's under/at the 5" but were not trying to let my 9 year old son in because he's tall. I don't think its fair honestly. I feel that rule is not fair and it should really go by age, not height.
What a terrible experience. Went here during the pandemic, but the place was so crowded (see the photos). Looks like they're selling the tickets without counting them. No care about the health of the visitors and staff. Also note that there's no separate entrance to the aqua park -- you have to walk for 20 minutes through the half of the park to get there. If you try to drive via Google maps, you will end up in the service parking lot, a couple of miles away from the actual entrance. Be careful.

very nice and clean water park. lazy river is small but worth going through, they provide the water floats. There is a water slide which is actually pretty great for kids AND adults. lots of games to play and a nice bar for the adults which feature daily drinks. There are cabanas for rent and they have music playing. this was a great weekend escape for my family and I! would definitely recommend and visit again!

Was looking for a nice place to take my 4 year old that was not only appropriate but also safe for her to play and not worry about everything around us. Needless to say, this park was great and she had a BLAST. She didn't want to leave when it was time to go. We will be returning very soon.
Awesome little water park with great staff. I brought my beautiful daughter on a sunny day and it was the most fun ever. No members ship, no fee, no resident required, just don't bring cotton clothing because the lifeguard will be upset.
Kids can run around and play while you keep a eye on them from the benches. There's a bathroom near by if your little one has to use bathroom. Lots of fun for kids 2 and up
