My daughter's loved this place. Staff, especially the life guards, are very attentive. That said, bigger kids and "Edgars" tend to hang out where the little kids area is, so that can get a bit awkward. But overall, great indoor pool for kids and we'll be returning for sure.

This place was a nice splash pad, but there is a charge for entry of $1.50 per person in the water. So we only paid for the kids. The seating is kind of limited, but there's a large shaded area with pine needles on the ground, so if you bring a blanket or chairs, you can utilize that space to escape the heat. We went in August and it was blazing hot. The bathrooms were not really nice and smelled like urine. I've been back to the park on a different day and the bathrooms smelled like urine then too. The parking requires quite a walk. My kids are bigger, but if they were all toddlers, I would bring the double stroller. My kids enjoyed the water for a long time and were not ready to leave when we parents were, which is a good indicator that we could return for future fun. There's a nice playground in the same park, and a train and carousel, so there's a lot to do, but I'm guessing those cost money. So if you don't want your kids begging you to do extra activities, then don't go here. The train circles the playground regularly. As for the splash pad, I'd probably go somewhere free next time. If they improved the bathrooms, then I'd feel like the entrance fee was making a difference. But it was too run down for me to justify paying for a sprinkler pad when there are other options that are free.

We went there on weekday, so it was not crazy at all. We didn’t have to stand in line much. We had really good time there. The park is clean and nice. One of my fav water park in US

I was drowning, none of the lifeguards came to save me. It was like 4 inches or something what are lifeguards supposed to do? Save you but those lifeguards are just some idiots.

Went on a summer weekday. This is a chill relaxing theme park, that has around 10 thrill slides & enjoyable pool areas. There were a few attractions closed during our visit, even though there was no weather problem.
Some major problems with this theme park is that you cannot enter by foot. We had to walk a really long way, since our home was nearby & ew thought it would be nicer to walk to it, and avoid the expensive parking costs. But that was probably a bad idea. They keep the gates closer to the entry locked.
The other glaring issue is that, the floor gets extremely heated up during mid-day in summer. Especially at the walk up to solar Vortex, we almost got boils on our feet. The Endless Surf was really mediocre and I've definitely seen better.
Wait times weren't terrible. There was decent music here & there, for the vibes. Change rooms do not have sufficient showers, apparently, to handle huge crowds (2 for men, I think 4 for women). Staffs were friendly for the most part. Overall, a decent one time experience for us. I'd say it's worth 1 visit, especially if you have an annual pass or a fun Card, with free guest tickets, which is how we went. Otherwise, I don't think I'd really pay for it.

Everything is overpriced, and by the pay I would think It be a friendly place to hang, but them lifeguards are lazy as hell and hella rude, I tried asking for help to where the bar might be and they just nod their head a direction and continued flirting with another guy, I went to by a tube no one was their and then I peak above the counter and theirs one lifeguard on her phone ignoring us their, when we where in the slides their was another life guard just chatting it up with a group while we all had to find out ourselves if it’s safe to go down the slides or not. Also don’t ever get the party plan it’s a scam even though you pay they’ll still make your guess pay original admission to get in

It's not bad, but it is very small and a bit disappointed.
There are not many seats, and less with some umbrella or something to cover up for a large crowd of people, and the premium seats are good but are dirty, and with some ant and cockroach on it.
The food was good, but a bit of expense, especially the snacks
And the slide and more are fun.

Our family of four (5&7 yo kiddos) had a great time! Parking was easy to navigate. Not a far walk from the entrance. A variety of slides offered most of which my 5yo could go on. It was nice being able to go on rides as a family. All of the slides we wanted to go on were open. Staff was very polite - even during the long lightning delay when guests get restless. Wear water shoes or sandals as the concrete could get hot - is it Florida so that was expected. Plenty of lounge chairs throughout the park. Some of them are in random spots throughout the park but if you don't plan on really sitting at them then it doesn't matter. I just liked that we were able to leave our bag and towels at one without having to go back to a locker. We will definitely go back.

Impressive place. Playground was large and clean... splash pad was very impressive.. carousel and train were amazing...

For $2 for adults and $1 for kids, this place is fantastic! That would be a good deal just for access to a pool, but at Splash Zone they throw in a splash pad and two water slides. My seven-year-old had a great time and is already talking about going back.

This was our first time since they added the 4 new slides. We had a blast. I have heard people complain about the price, but I get it. Wages to pay and upgrades need to be made. I have no problem with the price and am already looking forward to more trips next season!!!!

I’ve been coming here for decades, and it just keeps getting better! The new Castaway Falls is awesome! I loved it and my 11 year old wanted to spend most of the day there. Quick queue is totally worth it if it's less than $50 for the day. We got it for $30 on a Friday towards the end of summer, and probably skipped 3-4 hours of lines.

I Took my grandson to this splash pad today. It was an amazing clean fresh water. Location. Plenty of room for the children to play and not get trampled on. I do suggest bring a little sand bucket. For your child to play with. Your child will have a great time to cool down from the Heat while playing in water. 5 stars *****

Just WOW 😮 as in, shocking. Not only is the water dark and cloudy-it stinks! But the worst of all: ONE lifeguard for the wave pool-and THAT lifeguard was also watching the baby area (with the giant fountain). No no no no no. Something bad is going to happen-then they’ll shut down or miraculously find the resources for additional staff. It appears though that building the freestanding bar was the priority. 👍🏽

I went to water rampage with some family on Friday. Overall it was a decent experience. The slides were fun, there were little to no lines the whole time. The water was pretty murky in the wave pool and lazy river. It just didn’t feel very sanitary. The main reason for my low rating is the lack of attention the life guards gave at the slides. My son was waiting to go on a twisted tube slide. A kid went in front of him, my son was waited for the lifeguard to give him the go ahead. Unfortunately, she did not wait long enough. My son ended up running into the kids ahead of him when forced his head back to slam against the slide. He came out screaming in pain. He had a golf ball sized knot on the back of his head all weekend with a pretty bad headache. The lifeguard in the pool below yelled up to the lifeguard at the slides telling her to wait longer. She laughed, which was 100% inappropriate. We really didn’t know what to do after that, he is ok now, but it absolutely ruined the experience.

Clean and safe! If you have a toddler, get a life jacket. My son was tempted to wade into deeper waters a few times. Also recommend weekdays vs weekends

The pictures do not match the park. The water slide has been broken down for awhile apparently.. the splash pad has hot water coming out and very small. The pool is absolutely disgusting and you need to wait 30 minutes to get in. They also lie about being able to bring in food. I had my food confiscated while other families got to eat??? Rude and scary staff!!! Currently very sick from heat stroke from the harsh conditions of the park.

This place is horrendous. People aren’t allowed to eat but are allowed to walk around without clothing. Random men walking around trying to steal belongings. There was a worker yelling at people for eating. He made multiple kids cry as he sat by the pool drinking an eating himself. The workers an their families get to cut the lines but everyone else has to wait an hour in line. There is a dress code but it’s not being enforced. A lady with spreadable warts yes they are contagious went in the pool an she cut the line 4 times. Friends with the staff. Becareful going here. The water is hot. The only thing they are enforcing is the no eating. I saw the workers take a whole family food away from them. Why even be open?

We tried going today and this address is just a field. Im thinking they tore it down. We did drive around but there was nothing like the pictures anywhere

Serene place for kids to enjoy the park, summer splash pad, awesome carousel and train rides. Ample path for adults to go for a walk.

This park has a pool, community room, plenty of tables and grills, play ground for all ages, water park, and really green and perfect to bring the whole family 🤗 They have lots of programs for all ages

We had a fun time on our first visit. Went with our church and enjoyed it. Will return!

Splash pad is great. There’s no parking lot so my only issue is the lack of parking space.

We had 2 birthday parties here and we were very pleased with the team of lifeguards as well as the staff. We also swim here during the winter and my kids love it. The slides and diving well are great for bigger kids plus a decent space in the lap pool. The zero depth is good for the littles..

Well, We came and the pool water is amazing for all family, it’s a little bit warm but it’s ok, the pool is perfect for kids, younger and adults. We love everything…. Ah inside de water park have Jacuzzi (Plus). Always Lifeguard was looking and avoiding some problems.. Safe.

We had a really great time, we had to wait awhile to get back in the water after some storms, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The ground does get hot, so bring shoes suitable to wear while walking from place to place. My almost 2 year old loved the pools and kid areas, as well as the lazy river. I'd go on a weekday to avoid huge crowds.

Well it's just a very small spray park just enough for little kids. The ones in Bakersfield California about 10 big spray parks with plenty of room for parents and barbecuing

Great little park. Kids had a great time at the splash pad. The shelters were nice- great for a gathering. Playground equipment was well kept. Train ride was a nice touch. Drinks and snack available.

it was a bit crowded & you had to put your name on a waitlist due to the crowd. they charge $2 for adult & $1 for kids of all ages. parking is free but it can be a lil difficult to find parking.

Must be in line before opening to guarantee getting in.
Kids had a blast! Small and manageable for a single parent
Kids had a blast! Small and manageable for a single parent

Took my 6 year old nephew here and he had an absolute blast! What I liked the most about this pool compared to others we have been to is how highly trained and serious the lifeguards are about their jobs. You never saw them goofing off while they were on watch and the moment anything started going awry in the pool you would hear a whistle blow. You could tell they were really focused while they were in charge and it made me feel really safe knowing how well everyone was being supervised! This place has a large jungle gym in the pool, two water slides, a slide into the diving well and a diving board. It also has a lap pool for adults.

Great place to come to swim. Has a splash pad for the kids, a zero depth pool, couple slides, a sand volleyball court, and a sand play area for the kids. Good price not super expensive.

Definitely a locals spot. Was interesting for us Aussies to see a local neighbourhood. Kids loved the park. Safe and clean.

Really cool park! Splash pad is ok but at least it’s clean. Bathrooms, parking, courts etc. shade would be nice. Especially by the splash pad area and playground.

The splash pad was closed for over an hour due to maintenance. Once it was working, it was an okay place to play. The playground was much better for the kids.

The price is OUTRAGEOUS for the overall experience you’re getting. I’m not one to post my unsolicited opinion/review but our experience was not enjoyable. Our backpack was checked twice while we were in line for I’m assuming…to be sure we weren’t bringing in food or drinks. Safety obviously isn’t of top priority as there was not ONE single lifeguard on the back end of the “dirty lazy river” as I made my fourth round. There were BEER cans within the bushes, TRASH, etc. the weeds are overgrown, wooden fence posts falling apart in the back, and the treehouses in the back are falling apart as well. There was a large piece of wood along the side of the lazy river within reach of any child that had EXPOSED NAILS. The list goes on….and on. With the amount of money being charged for people to go into the park, Surely you can afford to clean up the place to provide a more enjoyable and safe experience for your customers. Do better!

Until now, I was unaware of the lack of a bathroom. A splash pad should always not only have a bathroom facility for the children and the parents as well. It is important to provide clean spaces to prevent the chances of infections. I pray this facility is part of their plans for the future. RSJ

So so. The fast pass doesn't apply for most rides. Parking almost 40.00. Lucky if you get 4-5 rides a day. So figure 90 ticket 40 parking (if you do buy fast pass another 50) 25 locker as basics. For 5 rides with lines. Basically 40/ride. But if makes kids happy and is an experience then it's worth it

Stopped by from out of town. Very clean! Lots of fun for the kids, the life guards are on top of it. Free Lockers with a digital lock. And family changing rooms.
Only thing to mention was that summer camp swim is very loud and busy, we got there at 1:15 - the crowd thinned out by 2:30

Lack luster fountains and very little shade.

Very basic park with old play ground. Playground needs maintenance. Splash pad used to have rubber down but it looks like they pulled it all up and just left the concrete. Splash pad is very minimal compared to some other frisco parks. I wish there was more seating and shade for parents but this just seems like a basic neighborhood park.

Nice place for families. There’s a playground, a splash pad and a decent amount of open space.
We will be back ❣️

On Google the information said that the open swim was 3-7 but on the day we visited we were told to exit the pool at 5. Apparently the info is incorrect on Google. Great indoor water park, nice area for younger kids, water slides and a diving board with 12 foot deep water.

Parents allow children to do anything here with no concerns of others. Saw a child with a visible blowout playing in the water. That's a good way to get pink eye.

Great clean place

Need more sitting areas in the shade and better parking near the park

It says there open but don't answer the phone and mail box full...I went by there today the pool and water slides are not open just the part for little kids .so we to Alhambra there big pool not open as well just the small one for little kids .but splashzoon never answer the phone so i wont waste gas!!

Cute little park is great for a family day. Food is a bit expensive but good for park food. Only down side is that the entire park needs to be resurfaced, and parts that should have grip are super slick, and parts that should be smooth are rough from years of paint chipping and just being painted over.

This is a wonderful park. There is a miniature train you can ride around the park. You can also ride the double-decker Merry-Go-Round. There is an amphitheater where they put on amazing concerts. We will be back to Kannapolis and visit soon!

My dog Christmas and I absolutely love to go walk out there because it doesn't seem too far and it doesn't seem too short every time we go everyone that we meet is always so friendly.

I used to go to Water Rampage, today I was there for first time this year. I am VERY disappointed with everything. I will not return back and don’t recommend this place to anybody.
I heard a lot of complains about this facility today. Who is the manager? What happened?
The water in the pool for the ones by the slides and for the kids was extremely dirty. Also in the lazy river. You can’t even see the bottom of the stairs. A lot of trash flying around and floating on the water. The restroom was dirty as well.
I didn’t find any vacant lounge chair, I had to put my bag and clothes on the concrete floor.
We have been waiting in the line for the drinks for 25 minutes.
Before you enter the staff is there to check on your personal bags very carefully to make sure you don’t have any water or food. They want to make extra money so you have to buy it at the kiosk. Of course it is just junk food.
I guess people are going there only because there is not any other place to go.
Which is sad.
The day pass for my daughter and me was $ 72.
Thank you for this experience, Water Rampage.

Clean area very safe for families please enjoy

Great for swim lessons or if you just want to spend the day at the pool indoors. I'll post an update with more info. I went in for a few minutes after hours to check it out , and it is awesome , really great for the kiddos!!

Was an epic day of fun for me and my family!! Got in early with no wait. Lines got longer throughout the day, but so worth the wait! All the slides were so much fun. My 2 year old loved the splash pads and lazy river as well as the wave pool which is back open in full force!! My 7 year old loved ask the sides big and small and really enjoyed the lazy river and wave pool!! Fun for all ages!! Plenty of bathrooms and drink stations!! Q great amount of seating all around.

We took the Grandbaby last weekend and it was awesome. He is a little Guy and he couldn't get on much but the kiddie swings were perfect. He fit in there perfectly and he loved it. I can't wait to take him back so We can ride the Carousel.....

Very nice park, near a fire station so it feels safe, and has a nice track also!
Normally I go to Diamond Lakes with the kids but that one doesn't feel as safe these days. 6 stars for Wood Park

This park is awesome. Splash pad on its own is nothing too special but has proximity to a huge multifaceted playground, with lots of shaded seating all around for parents. Would be adaptive-ability friendly as well. Will definitely be back

Although it's not a very big, this is a very nice splash pad and playground area. There is ample seating, with a lot of picnic tables, along with street parking.

Wood park was clean and secluded from the road. The playground was very unique and would be a welcomed sight to easily bored kids. Fire station 50 feet away and a gated water park were a plus.

My kids always have a blast here! Perfect for all ages between the splash pad, park and baseball field!

It's a hidden gem. Kids will love it and there are basketball, pickle ball, play area, and tennis court in the same area which is super nice. The pavilions are FCFS and available for any public to use. The restrooms are neat as well.

They close at 8pm for splash pad. Bring bucket or cups to get water to splash around with. Snacks also. Great for the summer. Also has two play grounds. Kids love it

Nice quiet park. Very nice jungle jim area for the little ones.

This place is wonderful for the family! Get there early to grab a table or grab your own chairs. There is soo much to do that this park! There is a playground, a train ride (1.5 per person), a carousel (1.5 per person), and a splash pad (1.5 per child)! It’s not that pricey. We went for a whole afternoon. It was worth every minute. The staff is amazing and kind! Totally recommend!

My boys love the splash pad. We have only had good experiences there. The water is cool and refreshing for the hot days we go, they have an area aimed for both older kids and one for younger kids. They have plenty of grass to sit in when the tables are all taken. Many areas with shade to sit, you can tell a lot of thought went into this place! The staff were very friendly and prompt as well.

Nice little quiet community pool. Good place to just go and relax. Directly underneath landing lane for planes so kind of cool to see the planes fly over so close to the ground. Good price overall

Kind of a lack luster splash park. Nothing for kids to jump through or play with as far as structures go

There are much better parks around. The equipment is old and for very young kids. We’ll try again when it’s warm..

My Children Love the Fact that They could See Fire Trucks and Airplanes while Playing at the Park. I'm in a Wheelchair, and there is not a Ramp for Wheelchair Users if you want to Park near the Fire station to Enter Wood Park. I Creatively Helped Myself up and Down the Curbs to Enter and Leave the Park. Please Build a Ramp Here 🙏🏽

Decent size park district outdoor pool. I was here for a swim meet but wouldn't mind coming back as a guest. There is a lot of shaded areas and the swim lane section is only 3’-6”.

Not really impressed for the high google rating. I suppose it would be an okay park for season pass-holders that live in the area, but the daily admission is pricey for the amenities. $16 for my toddler son and I to sit in the wading area of the pool. No concessions, not tall enough to go down either of the two slides, or the rest of the pool and the adult hot tub closed.

It is part of the Wood Dale park district and they are very strict about safety, which makes this place great for kids and parents alike. We spend the day here. Came and went for lunch and the staff was amazing. The spa is not currently working, which didn't matter considering it was almost one hundred degrees today.

This is a beautiful park with a decently large playground, a few picnic tables, some trees for shade, a water splash pad, and space to play yard games. It's well-maintained and fairly quiet, except when large gatherings are there. There's restrooms on site.

The most trash I’ve ever seen at a park :( really disappointing
Edit: A dad is out here with a trash bag cleaning. Asked him if he worked for the park and he said no, it just looks so bad and my kids and I play here a lot.

Plenty of space for the kids to play. Huge soccer fields, 3 different play areas for the kids. Restrooms on site.

Water wasn’t running when we got here but we did make the most of visiting here by enjoying a picnic. We have food and enjoyed it here. Tables and a park near by why not? They also have pavilions near by as well as a soccer field and baseball field. Plenty of playgrounds around, very spacious park.

Good park to walk

I love bringing my kids here, plenty of field and jungle gyms for them to run around in. It appears that baseball and soccer take over the park when the season starts so it does get crowded when the season starts. But it would be nice to see some basketball courts or a small skatepark for the kids. But it's nice to see the improvements they have done over the years.

This place is AWESOME…except for the kids camp that comes and kicks people out of the covered pavilion area every day from noon-1:00. They only need two of the four tables but make everyone (including elderly people) leave, claiming that they reserved it every day. All. Summer. Long. It’s very annoying and rude, but other than them this place is wonderful!! Clean and nice bathroom, perfect splash pad for littles, grassy lawn, great playground. The city just needs to do something about the annoying gazebo hogs. Then it’s perfect!

Such a perfect and beautiful facility! My grands have endless fun in the water, and then they enjoy the marvelous playground equipment, and then go back to the water. I love the plentiful tables and benches, and that there are many in the shade -- a lifesaver for me! Big thanks to the city for including large, fresh, clean, secure, and convenient restrooms!

Excellent local water park. Kids loved it and were sad to go. Shade is readily available and good playground right next to it if they don't want to be wet. I've heard it gets pretty busy but I haven't seen it, we usually go in the morning. Parking has been good but I haven't seen it when it's busy, again. Kids always mention they smell the chlorine but it's never irritated them, maybe the smell is more noticeable with the spraying than a pool would be

Nice pool although it does need a repainting soon and locker rooms could use improvement as they are dark. Very reasonable prices for the day or season passes. I like the Spa area with hot tub which is adults only although it is currently closed due to COVID. Water slides are nice for kids and they have a splash pad area for young kids. Great zero depth entry pool and attentive life guards.

I can't say enough good about this park- it has everything you could possibly want to entertain you and your kids for the afternoon. There's a splash pad, monkey bars, a seesaw, a rock climbing grey wave, and a covered basketball court. Parking is free, and they sponsor "Parks After Dark" during the summer, with live entertainment and movie nights.

Loved it. Even though it was very warm out, there was still plenty space and equipment to keep everyone busy. Grandkids had a blast!

This place is wonderful. The kids can have hours of fun and it doesn't cost a dime. I do like the diversity of folks that show up and it's always great familes. It's a real gem.

Small splash with some damage

It's Amazing to beat the heat. Kids will just love it and it gives Waterpark kind of exp including a small bucket of water... I frequently take my kids there in this so hot weather.... Definitely recommended and it is Free as well...

Nice space. Easy for kids to play

Fun as long as you watch the kids closely because sometimes bigger kids get there and bully the small kids or play too rough

This place is close by and is clean . I went there today and nobody was there on time to open it to start with and then they had no drinks and no ice. They didn't even have money to make change with when you pay to come in with your kids. The guys were really nice but I can't believe you have guests at a splash pad and not provide concessions

Great gem in Wood Dale. The season swimming rate is an incredible value. Has kiddie areas, adult swim, lap pool, sand volleyball, hot tub, and concessions. Total pool facilities were up to par except one, last time I went, there were leaves in the pool. It's an outdoor pool I know, but the pool should be cleaned from any debris before allowing anyone to swim. It turned me off. I haven't been back since.

Well, we're having a party, unfortunately you can't reserve a spot for tables but if you here early enough (5:00 am) you're pretty much guaranteed a shaded area. There's splash pads, a jungle gym, and a pool very convenient to the center and park office. With a huge parking lot and baseball field you might not have issues with space. The only thing is that if the trees on the side of the center were trimmed or cut you would have and amazing view of East LA.

We went on the 4th of July and they were charging everyone only $4! It was great. There were more people than usual for this pool but not so crowded that you felt it. Love their zero depth entry and splash pad for my daughter. They also have a sandbox, hot tub, and slides.
