Came here for my 40th bday, wanted food that was healthy and fresh, not too fried and had a combo of both meat and vegetarian dishes. Service was quick, food was delicious (we got the salmon and okra dish, as well as Jerusalem soup), we would love to come back. We also enjoyed the Moroccan tea.
For dessert we got the Beirut pudding and the dates - both were excellent, the Beirut pudding was not too sweet and had an interesting texture. The dates in butter and walnuts were fantastic.

The steak omelette was good, coffee was good! Service can be improved. It was my first time at this restaurant and the person taking the order automatically assumed I was taking my food to-go. I end up eating from the to-go boxes.

I enjoyed my dinner at this charming little Mediterranean restaurant in Carmel. The Octopus was grilled to perfection and the kebabs hit the spot. The service was attentive and good. The place is modest and compact.

4 stars just because of the desert, Turkish coffee, the cocktail - Levant and the manager, who is from Algeria and was so nice to compensate for a 🐌 service. I came for the Turkish tea, but they are no longer serving it, which was disappointing

I enjoyed my food at Yafa, the service was nice but the decoration was a bit dated and run down. There was dust on several of the areas and it did not feel as clean as you would like. The prices were a bit on the high side and I did not feel lik ethe quality reflected that. Overall this was an enjoyable meal but I would be hesitant to return.

Absolutely loved Ala in DC! We went for their bottomless brunch, which was an incredible experience. They have a fantastic buffet with a wide variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. There were so many sides, cheeses, dips, and delicious fish appetizers – I was genuinely surprised at the variety and quality, especially for the price. The food was filling, and each dish was a treat.
The cocktails were fantastic too, perfectly crafted and full of flavor. The ambiance and music added to the whole experience, creating a vibrant, inviting atmosphere. They have a cute inside but we sat outside and it’s definitely a vibe! Truly top-notch staff – attentive, friendly, and so welcoming. Ala is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable brunch in DC!
They have a fun happy hour deal which I’ll check out next time!

As usual, social media is overrated when it comes to places like this!
Let's start with the falafel:0/10 – it was obviously made from a package that can be found in any supermarket. Then, the stuffed grape leaves – they tasted straight out of a can, so was the hummus! It was gross!

We were a group of 5 people and had a fabulous experience at ala. the small dishes were so tasty. We were actually quite full by the time the big plates arrived. Ever was yummy. Berna, the waitress, made wonderful recommendations to our choices. We were happy with this find and definitely come back.

So many great flavors! Lots of great things to try and wonderful service. Berna helped us pick some fabulous dishes, and we had a truly enjoyable evening.

This place is literally some of the yummiest food I’ve ever had and the lady that owns the restaurant is so kind. I normally don’t leave reviews but this food was so good it made me want to.

I usually do not leave reviews, but this place is amazing. Truly do not understand how the reviews are not 4.8+. This is the best middle eastern food that I have had in Cleveland and the service, time, and quality is top notch. My absolute favorite lunch spot in the area!!

We took some out of town guests to Ala this past weekend and it didn’t disappoint! Everything we tried was delicious. The service was friendly and helpful and the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere.

This place was excellent! I haven’t been able to eat Mediterranean food since being diagnosed with both a sesame and dairy (cheese, milk, yogurt, butter) allergy. The lady inside was extremely accommodating to my allergies and let me know what I could and could not order based on that. She also was willing to alter the ingredients on the pita I ordered so I’d be able to have it. She was also very lovely to chat with and we had a wonderful conversation about her business. The meal itself was still warm when I got home and tasted great! I got the chicken pita wrap which was my favorite. The samosa was a bit spicy for me but I ate it regardless. Will be coming back!

So good! I had breakfast here the other day -- the pistachio challah French toast and the rose water coffee are amazing. I basically licked the plate clean! The service is great, and it's affordable. I ended up grabbing a rose lemonade on the way out, which was really refreshing. I can't wait to go back to check out their lunch menu!
Edit: I got lunch here today - the chicken shawarma platter, hot peppermint chocolate, baklava, and Lebanese mint lemonade were all amazing, as well! The staff are great - shout-out to Brenda and a young gentleman who was training there the other day whose name I don't know. They were so welcoming! Will definitely be coming back when I'm next in Arlington:).

Some of the freshest Halal in Brooklyn. Very clutch for late night eats after the club. They treat you like family/ Brothers. Did I mention fresh falafel made to order?!

They sell expired item and still the same price. I did not pay attention their out of date expired out of the shelf and each one cost between 299 to 199. I don’t know, take care of your products madina market.

This is the best butcher service I have ever experienced in DFW. The meats are clean, fresh and delicious.

I went with my husband today for the first time customer service was good food was amazing ill be back for sure

Maria was quick and attentive to make sure not to keep me waiting long. She noticed me as I walked up to the line and immediately greeted me with a kind smile and genuine gesture. She recommended me beverage options to go with my chicken kabob meal and collected payment quick. The atmosphere is great here, the area is always clean and the food is always prepared fresh and hot. This is my go to spot!

Was in Philly for two weeks and almost exclusively ate here, since I have Celiac it’s hard to find places that carry gluten free. Food was always great and the customer experience was great. Definitely worth a trip even if it’s just for a shake.

Came to eat here great service by maria friendly beautiful smile like some other employee that doesn’t make you feel welcome . and also help me chose the right tea will be coming back cause of her .. we need more people like her to make you feel welcome at the establishment

I visited the site in the past, but the staff has changed. The person who took care of me on this day,
had a Major attitude, and he became upset that I had to remind him for my credit card receipt and side sauces. He proceeded to snicker because I wanted to purchase baklava. Really upsetting since I purchased food from this restaurant when they were around the corner on Foster Avenue for many years, and before this in person purchase, I had ordered a large UberEats order and was very satisfied with it. Will reconsider if I would go there again. Very sad!!

Very mediocre for a weekend brunch in this price range. Expect to spend $60 - $70 for a meal with tax and tip. Delicious desserts and good starters. (there are few places in DC that do this platter style even better - Ambar). The main course on the brunch menu is just okay.
The tawook chicken strips are very sweet and very mild on the spice. The spinach shakshuka is just okay on the flavor profile too.
The baklava is delicious. Their zalabia is even better. Delicious compote and fried dough.
The place is a bit cramped with tables so not the most relaxed brunch environment. May be better for an a la carte visit. Which they do not allow during brunch timings.

This is one of our favorite takeout spots! The food is always consistent and delicious. And if you’re a fan of spicy food, you have to try their hot sauce. Also, the folks who work there are always so nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

The only meat store near Allen where the mutton does not have a gamey taste.

Honestly the high ratings for this place speaks for themselves. High quality, fresh, clean, solid gyros for 9$ or 10$. One of the best parts about it is the fresh salad selections. You can also add a one piece of lamb chop for an additional 4$. Been going here since my childhood and will continue to do so.

Super disappointed in this place. I was having a bad day and got takeout delivered for lunch since this place had so many good reviews and I love Mediterranean. It was frankly awful. The beef shawarma was incredibly dried out with some pieces more like jerky. Salad and rice that came with it were awful. I know it’s delivery so I can’t knock the salad in a hot container too much but even the rice was gross. Tastes like they just simmered in some chicken broth and called it a day. No saffron flavor at all and rice was mushy. I hate wasting food but had to throw away almost half because it was so unbearable.

Good fresh quick mediterranean food. Big portions, I would come back. I loved the cauliflower Shawarma.

The zatar bread is a gift from God and only $3.50. Delicious!

I’ve eaten here several times for breakfast, lunch & dinner snd it is outstanding food! We have had the sampler appetizer, shakshuka, Greek salad, Gyro platter & shawarma platter. All were delicious! The Lebanese mint lemonade is SO refreshing and delicious! I could easily eat here 4-5 times a week.

We had a group of 6 for dinner. The atmosphere is very inviting and even though it was busy it wasn't loud at all inside. They recommended sharing plates and we ordered several small bites and three main plates for the table which was enough food. Everything was tasty, especially the Adana Kebab, which was my favorite.

Those (Manakeesh) flatbreads were so yummy and tasty, it is so authentic I felt like I’m in beruit all over again. Price is so reasonable and they were so welcoming and smily, they say it’s gonna be ready in 10 menuties (I got my food in less than 8 mins)
If you ever craving midetrainian food especially ( Mana’eesh - Manakeesh - or whatever you call them) and you are in Cleveland you must try this place.
I was so excited to eat so I didn’t take any photos, but I’m gonna take some when I go back there again.

The place is amazing. Customer service is excellent and for those who grew up overseas and miss foods or snacks that they grew up that aren’t sold in the US. This is the place has it all.

Very friendly service. I had a Turkish coffee smoothie and the Moroccan chicken platter.
The Turkish Coffee smoothie had a very great texture to it (hard to describe) and it was delicious. I also tried the pistachio smoothie. Both are great, they have a few other smoothie flavors. Just these smoothies alone make it worth the trip.
If you are not familiar with the area, the parking garage situation can be confusing. Depending on which parking garage you use, you will get a discount if you spend more than $10 at any business in the reading terminal market. Parking for us was $4 and Kamals validated my parking garage ticket after purchase.

Delicious food and kind people - you can’t ask for more! Pier was very welcoming and you can tell he cares about the place. The falafel platter was very tasty, fresh and the portion was large. Try lemon tahini - it’s to die for. Finally, the walnut baklava was a perfect little dessert to finish. We’ll definitely be back.

I just had the pleasure to dine at Rice Brickell and the food and service were top notch. Pierre the manager; personally attended me and it was like if was an invited guest in his home. I highly recommend this place!

Loved the food! Falafels were great and the service was absolutely fantastic. The lady on the front was so welcoming and caring that it was more pleasant eating inside the restaurant. Come here if you love Mediterranean food!

I love Rice and enjoy eating at this location several times a week. They offer healthy options in their bowls and delightful kabob platters for bigger meals. Rice has a great loyalty program as well. Pierre the manager is kind and attentive.

The person who works in the cashier department is very rude and a thief, they don't treat their customers right at all’when I’m gonna buy one think he count two things instead of one and don’t wana print the receipt as well.
Be careful when you gonna buy something check the counter and the receipt that how many items is on it

Customer service is terrible. Products are overpriced. Expired products on shelf. The older man behind the register is very rude. Doesn't know how to deal with customers.

What a discovery! This is a hidden gem in the Ballston area. The food was just fantastic. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and loved everything about it: the chicken was juicy, the hummus with pita delicious, the greek salad super fresh, the rice well cooked and the garlic sauce just great to add a kick to the other ingredients. On top of that, the service is outstanding. They brought my food to the outside terrace together with a bottle of cold tap water and a glass. Online ordering works really well too and don't forget to try their coffee before leaving. I'll be back soon!

We had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant! Every dish we ordered was not only delicious but also expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Despite a minor inconvenience, the manager and our waiter promptly made amends, including comping our bill and treating us to a sampling of all their desserts - a true testament to the high level of service expected from a Michelin-starred establishment. The location is ideal, just a short walk from DuPont Circle, and the ambiance is enhanced by a cool music selection (I even discovered a few new songs to add to my playlist!). If you're craving authentic Levantine cuisine in the heart of DC, look no further. This restaurant truly excels in both food and service!

Saw this restaurant on Google near my hotel and it turns out to be great. The food (sirloin kubideh kabob platter) was delicious, especially the samac sauce and rice. Maria, the waiter, was so kind and addressed all questions well about the menu. Such a nice place to have a quick dinner and go.

So I haven’t eaten chicken on rice (gyro) for years. And we bought for everyone. It was so good. Some of us had Lamb over rice, some just chicken, but other both. It was really good and everyone loved it.

Ordered the lamb pita wrap and pistachio baklava. The wrap was so dry I would guess it was stale. It was covered in oil though. There was not nearly enough tzatziki sauce on it, and the romaine was wilted. I opened the wrap up and ate the lamb out of it. The tzatziki did taste good and the baklava was decent but not delicious.

Go to place in Frederick for Halal meat and Indo-Pak grocery items.

I absolutely love Rice Mediterranean kitchen! I take out from this restaurant at least twice a week sometimes more. The food is always prepared fresh and delicious. I typically get a chicken platter, but have also ordered the value bowl and also the fries and cookie. Everything is always fresh and the portions are generous. The staff is also quick and accommodating! Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Mainly visit the cafe, and food is always fresh. The grocery has a good selection of items as well. Never had any issue with the customer service either 👍

I stumbled across this casual restaurant by myself and had to bring my husband here to try it. The food is delicious, flavourful and tasty! Erica who served us was super friendly and patient! She made us feel right at home :) I definitely recommend this place!

Went there during a convention 15 minutes before closing needing something gluten-free and vegetarian for my wife. They quickly helped me find everything on the menu she could eat, happily made it and she said it was the best falafel wrap she had. Will definitely be visiting them again when I am in the area

Looking for an amazing halal spot? Look no further. You have found it. This is my favorite halal food spot and it is better than Halal Guys Unlike the other guys, their meat is not dry but juicy and full of flavor. You really cannot go wrong I've only ordered chicken or lamb over rice or both When you come in, let them know what you want and they'll scoop some rice and they have a salad bar where you can pick what greens you want. I definitely recommend the salad, cucumbers, jalapeño, and chick peas. Can't go wrong with those. They also do have olives for those people who like that. After that, they load your platter with meat and then comes my favorite part. The sauce I ALWAYS get extra white sauce because there has to be some crack in it. In addition to that, I will also get the green sauce for a little spice. If you find yourself in the area, definitely come by If you pay cash, there's no tax

I had a chance to dine here recently when in the area. Tried the lentil soup, Lebanese hummus, pear salad and mishmish chicken. The chicken was great if you like sweet and savory. The meat in the hummus was very well seasoned. Staff confirmed everything is halal.

This review is for my first visit to Mediterranean Turkish since they moved to this location. It's been a while. The restaurant was clean, well laid out, and has a homey feel in spite of the strip mall location. There are 8 to 10 tables, a mix of small and large. There's music and a TV playing for atmosphere. It seems like there's more takeout business than eat in. I ordered a chicken shawarma bowl and my wife had a grilled chicken bowl. The owner was courteous and professional and the server handing over our order was warm and friendly. The serving sizes were very generous and the food was fresh and delicious except for the pita which was a bit old. I'll be back. I'm just sorry I waited so long.

Exceptional flavors in the vegetarian dishes that make you polish the plates although portion sizes are a bit on the smaller side. The butternut squash ravioli is a must have! In addition to the food, the wonderful hospitality and ambience makes this a great experience.

Incredible flavors. Got the mint tea and baba ganouch for appetizers, great flavor on both but baba was a little smoky. Jewish lentil soup appetizer was great as well. But the butternut squash ravioli, in a butter sage sauce, was absolutely incredible! Such delicate incredible flavors, and the texture of the noodle and squash filling was just impeccable. Best ravioli of my life! Finished off with chocolate cake and Turkish coffee, we will be back!

I came in on a Monday night for dinner and had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant has beautiful stained glass Turkish lamps, the food was outstanding, and the owner was very friendly. He made several recommendations from the menu, all were great, as well as keeping an engaging conversation throughout the meal. I particularly enjoyed the kafta meatballs entree as well as the butter sautéed dates for dessert (tasted just like the inside of an almond croissant). Although I’m only in town for 5 days for work, I’ll be returning - the food and experience were that memorable.

I don't know where to start. My friend and I were looking for some Mediterranean food in Lakewood, and this place came across. We stopped by because of their good reviews. When we walked in, the older guy (probably the owner) asked us right away what we wanted to order. We didn't know what to order since it was our first time visiting. Then he went to the back and didn't come out again. A young lady came out, and she was very nice (compared to the guy). We wanted to eat the grape leaves and a gyro. They didn't have it because of the Ramadan. So we respect that. So we decided to order something else. We ordered a chicken sharwama, beef sharwama, French fries, and a tea (which I thought that it was going to be "homemade" like other small places). The place was dirty, but we wanted to give them the business since it looked like they do not get busy. Plus, the kitchen was in the front. It took almost half an hour for our lunch. We were the only ones there. When I got up to check our meal, it looked like it was sitting for a good couple of minutes. They probably were watching TV, and that's probably why it took so long. After we got our meal, it was the worst thing ever. My meal smells like spoiling meat and my friends. We tried a little piece of the meal and tasted like sour and spoiled. Our stomach was hurting after trying one piece of meat.
We left everything on the table the way that they gave it to us and went somewhere else. We felt bad not eating the food because there's people out there who do not have anything to eat. We are greatfull that we have food. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but I couldn't let this one pass out.

Excellent Lebanese food, nice people. I recommend you all to try this amazing place.

Counter service spot with atmospheric dine in. Ample 2 and 4 table settings. Generous portion sizes, well seasoned foods, and condiments galore (spice mixes and high quality flavored olive oils) for that perfect bite. Easy parking and an accessible bathroom.

Food was fantastic!!
Asked the owner to recommend something for me to try, and with 30 years of experience, she helped me out. The KEFTA was very delicious! Sadly, Idon't live closer, or I would definitely become a regular!!

The Bitcoin ATM Machine was very convenient and easy to use, I will be returning again! Thanks!

Yesterday i had amazing experience with Mediterranean Turkish Cuisine. Beef shawarma wrap and Chicken shawarma wrap was really tasty, but the most impressive was Turkish coffee! Just look at the photo! Aromatic, rich taste and beautiful dishes - i had really enjoyed. But only one thing was upset - I think you cannot serve such a beautiful dishes on the poor table. At least there should be table cloths… It will give your restaurant much comfy and reach atmosphere. Also it would be nice if you will serve napkins on the each table, and it would be nice if you will put napkins with “order to go “. For example me and my husband tasted your delicious shawarma in the car, due our trip, and we both was really needed napkins, because shawarma wrap was juicy. So please, take it for your attention.
Btw, if you will cook Turkish coffee with cardamom- it will be best of the best.
Thank you for delicious food.

Ordered lunch today from OLE today - very pleased with my meal. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Very tasty food. Portions were great too. I will definitely have to go visit them in person.

We had amazing food. The portions were large definitely 2 people can eat a dish from here if you are a moderate eater. We ordered falafel platter which was authentic. I have been trying to find a proper falafel place since I have had a lot in middle east and this one is very flavorful and Shish taouk chicken was good but a little over cooked. Tried rose latte & pistachio latte those were good as well.
They have a separate menu for brunch on Saturdays which is a must try & hard to get reservations make sure to call in advance & book. Service was very good. Will definitely visit again.

Smaller place not recommended for a large group. I was very satisfied with the food, the amounts were great. The reason I rated 4 stars and 3 stars. Was only because 1 you set up your table yourself and 2 the smaller space that they have. I believe that they do a lot of takeout. Overall, we were all very well fed. We had chicken rosemary, beef shawarma and before kofta keebab.

This has too be the best turkish Spot in boston The Food is always hot and fresh super Flavorful I love all the spice and sauces they offer I put it on everything the rice is always nice and moist the rosemary chicken is so good so much flavor. The lentil soup is always good I get it every time it gos with every thing. The chicken and beef kebabs are so good. There falafel is very good also.
The owners and employees are always nice They keep it clean also that's important. If ur looking for great flavorful food. just stop by this place and make a order you won't be disappointed. With anything

This is genuinely the best food I’ve had in a long time.
Everyone was so nice, and everything tasted impeccable. The kebab was beautifully seasoned and the rice was simple and delicious. My partner’s falafel was perfect as well. All of the sauces were perfect as well. For once, I literally have zero negative comments! Keep doing what you’re doing and I will certainly be back!

Really good halal market. Inside is clean and the market isn't too expensive. There is butcher and a mini restaurant with foods such as shawarmas, gyro, kebabs, and arab style whole chicken. The food is very delicious and also not too expensive. They have an extended part in which you can find rice, flour, and lentils. In that same area you can find islamic decorations, hijabs, candles, kitchen utensils, and even some Arabic perfume. Overall a really nice market and highly recommend.

I really like this place. The food is very fresh and they have many options to add to your pita plate, gyro, or sandwich. They have lamb and or chicken options and pita bread 🫓. The plates average $8.99+. It is priced reasonable for the amount and quality of the food you receive. I have eaten here a few times and I would definitely recommend to eat if you are in the area. They are also on Door Dash- open 24 hours. There is not any where to sit inside and eat. It is small.

Staff was welcoming upon entry. I found what I was looking for which was pure henna powder which other stores in the area did not have from what I experienced at the time. I bought some incense sticks and a clay mask which all were at an affordable price in my opinion.

Great place with delicious food, especially fish. The owner of the restaurant is a great person and expert in this field for a long time. Highly recommended 👌

Zatar and spinach pie are the plant based options. Absolutely the best anywhere, made fresh to order. Don’t be fooled by the drab no nonsense storefront.

Searched high and low for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. The owners are welcoming and atmosphere is perfect. We ordered the chicken shawarma platter with Tabouli!! The portions were plentiful. The hummus is perfection . Shawarma melts in your mouth and tabouli was the perfect addition to this amazing meal. Not to mention prices are more than reasonable especially for the portions. My son also ordered the banana milk and honey smoothie !! Amazing . We will be going back.

I only took off a star due to ordering the Zataar fries and getting regular fries for my order. My Chicken Shawarma was good, as expected, and certainly met my Mediterranean fix needs. The line at Kamala can get a little unruly, so keep an eye on the floor and follow the tape (please!). The cashier was nice and patient with me, and the meal was good. I’d go back for sure.

Great selection, good prices. I was delighted to find Afghani naan, picked lemons, Bulgarian white cheese (but not double cream, sigh), my son's favorite rose syrup,...

Delicious food, excellent Manqueesh, and great dough taste as well. Highly recommended, if seating area can be improved, this place would be just perfect.

I wish I could give this place MORE than 5-stars! Located near a corner inside Reading Terminal Market, Kamal's is always busy but service is fast! My roommate and I are obsessed with the falafel platter. Considering the location, quantity of food, and quality, it's very reasonably priced. I blame this stall for being one of the reason's I haven't tried more places in RTM-- cause I keep coming back for their entrees and sides!
Falafel are well-seasoned, "meaty," and you get about 4-decently sized rounds with the platter. It also comes with delicately smooth hummus (hommus), tabouli (tabouleh for the algorithm), a basic chopped salad, and pita bread. The textures of everything are perfect together! You can also grab a sides like zataar fries which are PACKED with seasoning and fried with firm exteriors and soft interiors.
The staff are especially nice. There's one individual that is at the register most often (I believe their name is Hesham according to my order tickets). Every time I go, they are so friendly, welcoming, and very helpful when answering questions from anyone in line or random tourists needing directions. RTM is a hectic place for both staff and patrons, but Kamal's is always very nice to my roommate and me. Once when I visited with my partner, I was raving about how much I enjoy their food and staff without even realizing that another staff member (maybe someone working in the back?) was sitting next to me. He thanked me for my words which was so sweet!

i love the shawarma here its a big portion and the prices are reasonable The people that we work here are very hospitable and halal food

What an incredible supermarket for all shopping. Amazing food they have. Definitely shawarma is a must here.
Great prices and service as well.
Great prices and service as well.

Ordered the chicken gyro on a pita. The chicken was good but it was not heat spun on a turn-still. Felt more like halal chicken over rice. The salad bar was fresh with many toppings. Lots of food for a $7 pita & $1 coke. Pita bread fell apart and not what I expected. The place is getting an extra star for bike friendly, large portions & salad freshness. A better option than Mickey D’s up the block 😅

Food is good, nothing special though.
I’ve eaten the same dishes in Greece, Turkey and UAE and here they don’t taste like the same.
Baklava, unfortunately, is very far from the original recipe.
Overall it’s too expansive considering what we’ve eaten (28$ for a roasted cauliflower?), and I think that it’s only because of the location..

For someone who swears by falafels while traveling, this place was just the perfect find at the Reading Terminal Market in Philly. Stopped by only after the hearsay of people at the counter about how much they loved the meal. Picked a Veggie Falafel wrap, it was flavorful till the last bite. The Falafels had a unique spice blend in them that elevated the flavors further! Had a bunch of other interesting stuff on the menu. Must must check out when in Philly! Go to for your falafel cravings 🤌🏼

This place is amazing I'm so sad it took me so long to try it. We went crazy with what we ordered excited to try everything. It was amazing the Pies the Hummus falafel all bought back childhood memories. We were greated and love the genuine arab hospitality reminded me of my mom and aunts. An amazing place!

Very nice and delicious 😋..

The food and service are pretty good but the prices are pretty steep considering the small portions offered here. It is a nice place to eat, however be advised that the menu prices are somewhat outdated so the final bill will most likely be significantly higher than the prices on the menu. There's also a service charge added to the final bill. Put it this way, whatever you'll spend at Outback to feed four people, you'll spend more or less the same amount to feed two people here.
One advice I would give is to avoid the Jiz Biz. On the menu it's priced at $19.99 however I was charged $35 for it. The protein size was very small considering the price. It was pretty much full of fries and salad topped with red onions with a side of meat. A better alternative is to get the Mix Grill which is about $24.99 even though it's priced a bit less on the menu.
Nevertheless the food was tasty and we definitely enjoyed it. They cook the food from scratch so there is a wait time here. We'd have to think twice before bringing our friends or relatives here especially if we are the ones paying for them.

When you enter the store you will feel it , in words I called it “gyro world.”
The smell of kabab will create enthusiastic appetite.
They have salad with lots of topping items.
Gyro with chicken , lamb , salmon.
They also have tea.
Please never hesitate to taste their all items.
I feel they are better than halal guys , 100 percent (my opinion).
Their stuffs are friendly and deliver fresh food always.
*** they have clean fresh room

I have been to this little gem twice with my family and both times we loved our experience. The staff are very friendly and respectful and the lady who is also the owner is very sweet and caring. She makes sure the customers are well taken care of. Coming to the food, they have authentic Mediterranean food. Always fresh and delicious. To me and my family they deserve a 10 ⭐️. The prices are very reasonable and the food portions are generous. I have nothing bad to say about them. Please give them a try if you are in the area and looking for halal, authentic Mediterranean food.

My Husband I have decided to embark on tasting the worlds foods starting with Uzbekistan. I can tell you we were not at all disappointed. We had the Plov combo that comes with Non , salad and green tea. The Green tea was a little light but beyond that everything was amazing. The place was very clean, waiter was amazing, the decor was stunning. That plov was A-Maz-ing. Meat so tender rice to die for and those carrots yum yum. The fresh salad was great with some of the infused vinegar. I could not have asked for a better first time experience. Thanks Taj Kebab we will be back with friends and family.

Service of this restaurant was very good. No mistakes, no delays. I was shocked, thank you so much, guys.

Friendly staff, decent number of options on menu, and delicious food! Hardly any wait to order, and the food was ready very quickly. Cute little restaurant and a great one to support because it's local instead of the typical chains that populate Uptown.
Ordered a salmon pita (pictured) and enjoyed it outside. :)

It was very tasty!! Thanks to the chef for the dishes and thanks for the good service! I will recommend to everyone)

Very delicious food and sweets. As a fan of Pakistani "Yakhni Pulao" I really wanted to try "Uzbek Plov" and trust me, I didn't get disappointed. Carrots on the top are not too sweet, but they are simmered in full savory flavor of Plov.
In Grill section I took mixed grill so I could have a chance to taste every thing! Meat is tender not chewy and full of flavor.
Highly recommended for family gatherings.

Just ordered few samsa and got piece of plastic glass from it i have no idea how it mixed there😳🤮 it was so sharp but thanks got it stocked to my teeth not my stomach or neck 😡😡😡

The store is offering quality products at less prices than other's in the area. Now, I can get halal goat meat near my house, so I don't have to travel to German Town, etc. Nice and friendly staff. Adding on to it, the new owner is energetic, friendly and the way he deal with his customer's is simply awesome! Keep up the good work!

EDIT: I recently went back to the store after learning there was a change in management and had a great experience. The owner is kind and the staff is good. The prices aren't bad either. I'm happy with this experience.
Previous review from 4 years ago before new management:
Although the meats are good, we’ve always had bad experiences here. Sometimes the guy at the register gets noisy and looks at my balance in my card and comments on it. That gets on my nerves a lot. but today i’ve decided to never shop here again. i’ll look for another halal store because some of the staff members are petty.

Waiter was very nice. Falafel wrap was yummy! Fries were thin, fresh cut... Very good, but a touch on the greasy side. One minor complaint was that the salt was too coarse for the salt shaker, so we had to remove the lid to get it to come out.. We took home spinach and feta pies which were fantastic just heated in the microwave. We also grabbed a few pieces of decent sized baklava, and a bowl of lentil soup which were all very good. This is definitely one of my favorite stops in University Circle for a quick bite to eat.
