My friend and I were taking a stroll around the neighborhood when we stumbled across this shop. We were greeted by the sweetest employee, Tammy (Tammi?) anyway, she was super enthusiastic and friendly. She showed us all the different Spanish snacks, olive oils and other speciality items. Very unique shop with one of a kind curated foods from Spain. Their items would be perfect for entertaining guests or enhancing home cooked meals.
I walked out with some yummy snacks!
Would definitely come back and check out what they have next time I’m in the area.
After reading reviews I now understand it was not just me being ignored. I have been to the deli and have had employees look me dead in the face, don't say nothing and continue what there doing. got the seafood salad which really just imitation crab, it barely had celery or onion and it was dry like no dressing on it. for 10.99 I'm pretty sure you can do better then that. Chickens are always overcooked with no flavor at all. Originally the house made guacamole was reasonably priced its overpriced so I don't buy it anymore. the Tuesday meat deal was good till I got one that was good then the other one was bad as if someone laid it somewhere and then put it back in the cooler. its not that great a deal to go through that. When you have these many problems you will see you will lose business. I will no longer waste a trip for such service. I don't mind paying for a good product, not here.

I love Old Hudson and Warren St . The shops are amazing . I love to shop in antique shops and galleries. I top it off by going to lunch at Olde Hudson food shop and cafe . The food is excellent and everything is high quality tasty and fresh . The atmosphere is clean and inviting. Soup sandwiches and more. Eating there completes the day in Old Hudson .
On more than one occasion, my mom and I (either together or separately) have come to this fresh market and experienced some of the worst customer service from those who work in the deli section. You can, literally, walk up and make eye contact with those there and they won't even come to ask how you can be helped. You wait, because maybe they are finishing up a task, but then realize they aren't going to help. So we walk off and not even a few moments later (or even the others waiting) are helped! Seriously!!! This time we asked for a manager to express how bad the customer service in the deli was! Will anything change? Yes! We won't be going back there again, even if it's 5min from our 🏡. I'll happily drive 20-25 to the one down San Jose because I KNOW I'll receive great customer service there!

One of my favorite grocery stores! Lots of fresh organic options. I love that they stock locally source products. They are one of the only stores that have my favorite honey!

I'm a frequent shopper of this Fresh Market and had a small hiccup that got rectified immediately. The store manager Greg went above and beyond to show what true customer service is about. I was blown away. Thank you for your kindness and willingness to fix an issue that likely wasn't your stores fault. Not only that but when I walked in he was on a ladder cleaning the top of the deli cases and taking care of odd and end jobs. A true hands on manager with a genuine willingness to make his customers happy! There should be more people like you in this business.
Nice small grocery. A good place to buy parboiled rice which they most of the time have on sale. Good meditation supplies and meat products are also available. Also good treatment from the staff.

Despite some of the other reviews, I thought the food was pretty decent, the roasted vegetable sandwich was was flavorful and filling. The two stars are for the sandwiches. The drinks and food cost 40 bucks and we left a tip. Overall however this was not a pleasant experience.

Boyfriend and I are sitting outside with our sodas and sandwiches with our infant, eating peacefully and enjoying ourselves, when a blonde woman walks in from the street and gives us the stink eye. She walks right over towards us and accusatorially demands to know— “EXCUSE me, is that OUR FOOD?” We look at her puzzled. She realizes we were indeed eating their overpriced food and she tries to 180, stammering that people sit at these tables with outside food all the time.

It did not feel good to be accused of loitering after paying close to 50 bucks for sandwiches and being THE ONLY PEOPLE SITTING THERE. Plus she came in from the street so I had no clue who she was. She really should have checked inside before accosting patrons at what I assume is her establishment. It completely ruined the experience. I’ll never give her my business again.
Awful experience with this store and the manager Tanya, who has no clue what items are stocked in her own store and is too lazy to use her legs to walk through her own store or even ask a more competent employee to check. We checked the website and this store was listed as carrying chicken livers, organic and free-range, the only kind we can feed to our cat who's on a special medical diet for her health. Tanya was very short on the phone with us and insisted that her store doesn't carry any chicken livers of any kind, though the website says it does, manager Tanya says no livers at all. We called twice and both times Tanya was annoyed with us. We felt something was not right with the situation and drove down to her store and found Chicken Livers sitting in the frozen section, couldn't miss them. What kind of manager is Tanya? Lazy and rude or just too busy to get her facts straight for her own store.

And to make matters worse, not only did Tanya lie to us about not having any Livers, the website had lied to us too. These were not free-range organic chicken livers, these are still CAFO chicken, Confined Animal Feeding Operations, some of the worst treatment of animals and full of chemicals and disease. Our vet was very specific about the need for "clean and healthy" organ meats for our Cats health... These livers are not "clean" or "healthy" enough to be used for cat food and the company that profits off the suffering and exploitation of these chickens should be shut down.

When did we as a society become so lazy and uninterested in taking care of Life on Earth including each other? This store is following the profits over people and environment mode of business and the manager can't be bothered, do yourself and your family a favor and shop at a local health food store or farmers market. Food should be grown and sold with love.

We live in 70 Green St and used to go to this market every day at the beginning. But the truth is they got very poor quality control of fresh goods. We bought watermelon that had super bad smell and a coconut that was too old and didn’t have any coconut water inside. We tried to communicate with the manager and I was told their policy didn’t allow customer to either have an exchange or refund. If you get something of bad quality from their store, it’s just ironically bad luck and they cannot do anything about it. Just go to WholeFoods if you live nearby.

Alright, enough people have given positive reviews to where I won’t feel liable for ruining the secret.

This is the best café in Brooklyn for more reasons than I can list.
The meat shop is clean and organized. The shop carries a lot of I need, but somethings I can’t find, and need to acquire at a different store.

Coffee sucks! I went and got a vanilla cappuccino and it tasted like black coffee. You can get a better cup of coffee at speedway for half the price.
Seems like the business practices are not good recently.. Charged extra for cutting more than they have advertised. How i know bought meat elsewhere to check what norm is and they charged 50c lesser.. Not cool by Olive Tree

Update to Response: As far the meat goes, the Breast meat we got was not halal as it was huge like GMO chicken and tasteless. Halal chickens are smaller in size that we got for years and do get now too. Check yourself from the photo. 12inch pan accommodate two breast pieces of 2inc thick. Never we had this kind of experience.

I would not bother writing a review if the disappointment was not bothersome.

Wonderful, delicious coffee. Excellent products from Italy. Unfortunately, today was my last visit to this cafe and here’s why: the owner of the cafe is incredibly rude, not tolerant of visitors, especially children. During our visit, we received a lot of ridiculous comments: remove the bag from the floor, don’t touch the candy until I decide whether to buy it LOL (she literally snatched it out of the child’s hands). I don’t recommend visiting this cafe, don’t waste your time!

Wow amazing. I would own a cafe like this with a little space in the back, backyard in the summer, make fresh pasta and delicious grocery imported from Italy. This is a dream but the price is a little expensive. It is worth it thou.

The space in the front make look small but they have a huge back room. We grab a table and 4 chairs luckily without any wait. Order some drinks when we got a table and just chat for a few hours. It’s a place people just meet and afternoon coffee.

The drinks are great but the sandwiches could be better. I am a little disappointed with it being cold and not much to taste for a $15 price tag. They can do better imo.

I would come back again to hang and maybe skip the food.
Fabulous selection of premium canned seafood from Spain and Portugal as well as other Iberian food products and a great selection of chocolates from Barcelona, where the fabrication of chocolates began.
HereThe store boasts a spacious layout with an expansive selection of fruits, vegetables, live fish, crabs, and fresh meat, catering to a wide range of culinary needs. While the variety of items both inside and outside the store is impressive, the overall cleanliness leaves much to be desired. A noticeable odor, attributed to the presence of raw meat and fish, detracts from the shopping experience. Moreover, the disarray of the shelves further hampers navigation and shopping efficiency. With improvements in cleanliness and organization, this store has the potential to offer a more enjoyable and seamless shopping environment for customers.

Great local spot. But I was shocked that they open at 8, but I mostly think of them as a coffee shop. The outdoor space is beautiful, but it does get pretty crowded. I wouldn’t suggest going here during peak hours with a group more than 3 people.

I stop by this store all the time and generally do not have any significant complaints, but something happened recently that really rubbed me the wrong way. I bought a bag of Safe & Fair Key Lime Granola that was on clearance for $4. I got home and then realized the product expired back in November of 2023. The product was clearanced out to move it because it is expired. Are grocery stores legally allowed to sell expired products? The product is probably safe since it's a dry good but I can't help but feel like I was intentionally deceived.
I wish they clean the store much better. The meat section smell horrible
Asian store with variety of products , could be s little more cleaner

It's just not what I expected. I am all about supporting local small business, but wow, are the staff rude. The food is also overpriced. Such a disappointment. I would rather walk two blocks and go to Whole Foods. I just moved to the area and thought cool. It's not all that. The ready to eat isn't that fresh and just the staff, geez.
Great little market, has everything you might need

Including
Hot bar
Some frozen Asian items
Gluten free section
Artisanal Bread selection
Seasonal specialty items
I found all of the Mediterranean food I wanted to make and more.
I have been shopping at Olive Tree Market for 20 years. Owner is a nice person. I like their Middle Eastern groceries and halal meat. However, I have a piece of advice to share: it seems they are not good at steak cutting, and the quality of their sandwich beef has gone down a lot. I will get halal American cut steaks from Food Lion, Walmart, or Restaurant Depot, but not from them, as their cut is bad, and it won’t cook nicely—too thick and very expensive. The steak I bought was very chewy and tough to cut; I don’t recommend it.
I’m so lucky to live in Park Slope simply due to the fact that Un Posto is a 5 min walk away. Fresh, delicious, homemade pasta (you have to order ahead). Italian cured/aged meats and cheeses for very reasonable prices (+ the highest quality). And it is also a cafe! Fantastic espresso drinks and Italian pastries. Beautiful seating areas in the front and the back, and a lovely outdoor garden. No laptops allowed, making it the perfect place to sit and enjoy a genuine European cafe.

I visited this establishment for the first time recently and have to say that it was a complete waste of time, as the haughtiness displayed by not pricing their products, especially their cheeses, with a group atop the counter not even identified, was beyond the pale! The prices they have the audacity to charge for their French chocolat bars were clearly usurious, given that other retailers upon searching, priced them fairly! I have worked and lived in high-worth communities both in NYC and Long Island and know that this supercilious practice (if you have to ask the price you cannot afford it!) is a thing of the past, as you never know who your customer who walks out can be!

Anyone who comes to Olde Hudson needs to try their coffee specialties. I just tried the chocolate hazelnut hazzze latte it was very good. They have other types of coffee hot or cold including teas and if you are interested in wine They have that too including Pastries.
I recommend this location.

We love the Jamon Iberico from here! The couple who runs this place are the most amazing ppl you’ll ever meet and they’re so passionate about their products that they hand select from Spain. They’re a true staple in this community.
I usually enjoy shopping here, but had a surprisingly uncomfortable encounter with a cashier today that will likely make me hesitate to return.

After I had paid for my order, and was finishing bagging my items, the cashier very audibly leaned over to her colleague next to her and said about my order: “Jesus Christ! $99 for sixteen items!” While I did not respond to her rudeness, it made me quite uncomfortable and starkly embarrassed me. I try to live a conservative lifestyle, and am far from wealthy, but I do like to splurge a bit on cooking ingredients. However, this cashier made me feel as though my choices were foolish, and that is a terrible feeling on my one afternoon off of the week. I do not need to be price-shamed at my grocery store.

I wish I had chosen a different store, and will in the future.

Review is for Deli only. Stopped by to have a quick Coffee with a friend, and they have some decent options for Cold and Hot Beverages. Coffee and Lemonade that we ordered was pretty good. One major drawback is that the Checkout line is same for regular shoppers checking out items from the Market, as well as for those who are just ordering from the Deli. We had to wait in line for along with the other shoppers just to place our orders. I hope they change this.

Such a great neighborhood grocer! Having a membership and gaining points to earn towards $20 off really helps balance the cost of most items, even though prices on many items aren’t as high as you’d think. They have yummy premade food as well! Employees are always kind and speedy during checkout. Highly recommend :)
Be careful with what you get from here. Inspect and choose wisely. A lot of their things are old and passed their due dates. Especially those homemade snacks by the registers.

Great supermarket. I wish hours could be longer. They have mostly everything. They have great cheese and bread options. They also have great plants and funny plants pot. Their cashier and girls who make summer refresher is amazing. I like their violet lemonade summer drink. She made it great!
Yesterday I was going to buy a big live fish so I asked them to help me but they caught me a small fish and told me they can't catch a big fish when I see they can easily catch it. I politely told them to catch that big fish but they got angry and stopped catching it which made me very disappointed.
"The deli here is really good. There are a lot of options to choose from and the people who make it are cool and friendly;always having a smile on their faces. As for the hot food, it is also tasty and again a lot of options to choose from. It's like getting a home cook meal without having to do the work. Also the sushi here is great. The sushi chef is very creative with the type of sushi he makes. Some are even more healthier making sushi with brown rice instead of white rice.

The store itself is a great store to buy from. There are a lot of products for people who are gluten free, dairy free, etc. most are organic products. I love how they have a lot of international products that are hard to fine in other stores."

So lucky to have this gem of a market/cafe in Park Slope, offering a genuine café experience. The small shop is integrated with the cafe and seating areas. There is an outdoor seating area in the back. The location is on a brownstone side street in the historic district. A perfect place to have a coffee and a treat, or lunch with a friend or two. If you are from out of town and visiting Park Slope, this would be a perfect place to stop by for cappuccino and a rest stop. Friendly staff, clean ,welcoming, and comfortable seating areas as well as a mindful WC.

I had the best time at Garden Gourmet Market. the wine selection was amazing and all the craft beers were delicious. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an awesome spot to grab a wine or beer.
This store might be small, but it has quality products, and each item is well stocked and organized. Also, I think most of the items that can be found in other stores can also be found here. You will be surprised to know that the prices of their products are the same as those in other stores. They have tons of craft beers and wines to choose from. They have a coffee section that is nice and cozy. They offer a lot of organic and locally produced items. Everything they have is fresh, including the meat station, bread, snacks, and all the other foods you can find inside. It is great to know that they also offer vegan products. The customer service is great, and I can tell that the people here are very knowledgeable about their products. I highly recommend this store.
I've been shopping at Garden Gourmet for many years now and I can't say enough good things about the place. The produce is always fresh and the prices are fair. In addition, they have a fantastic craft beer and wine selection that can't be beat in this town. The staff is always helpful too.
This amazing shop is stacked floor to ceiling with intriguing fancy goods and super yummy delights imported from Spain. It's the perfect place to find that perfect, original gift or to treat yourself.

A great shop, conveniently located in the middle of Warren St. This grocery store has many products from local distributors and has something for everyone.
This store is very nice and, at the same time, very convenient. I do not live in or near this area, and how I wish I did. This small grocery store is amazing because it has a lot of wonderful products.
First of all, the store is clean and bright. It may be small, but it was very clean inside. It also has a well-organized shelf. The layout here is so nice and everything is accessible. They also have a well-stocked selection of products. Even though it is small, it also has a variety of products, especially in their wines, produce, and other products.
Second, their products, anything of a kind, are of good quality. When it comes to their produce, they offer a lot of organic products. Produce is also fresh, as is the meat, bread, and any other products that I have found inside. They also have different kinds of snacks, which, surprise, also have healthy options. They actually have a lot of healthy options on most of their products, which is really nice.
Lastly, their prices are fair and reasonable, and their customer service is great. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products. As for the prices, they are mostly very reasonable, but there are also some that are quite pricey, including the fine wines and other kinds of liquor they have.
What an amazing an shop! A one place shop to find all the imported items from Spain.

Excellent selection of great Serrano ham, cheese, authentic chips, canned food such as sardines, octopus plus a multitude of other Spanish goods, with all the brands you would expect to see.

This is basically a taste of Spain in Brooklyn. If you are missing the food from Spain, don’t miss a visit. Highly recommended.
Loaded with an excellent variety of far eastern delights. Often rather busy but when you have so much of what shoppers love it's to be expected. Also the prices are as low as I've seen anywhere else.

Great selection of fruits, vegetables, staples, beers and wines, meats and cheeses. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
Finally a friendly store with high quality food items from Spain nearby. Amongst other items, we bought jamón ibérico... what a treat! It was moist, savoury with other earthy nuances. If you have been to Spain I assure you that it will take you back. Thanks MC.
Olive Tree Market is great for when you need freshly cut meat and a great selection of herbs and spices. The prices are great, and they always have what I need. Just got some tomahawk Ribeyes, and the final product was amazing. If you need sauces, seasoning, and great service you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend Olive Tree Market.
I feel like I stepped into Italy! 😍 🇮🇹 The sound of instrumental music and conversations in Italian is an indescribable vibe.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. I got steamed milk and a prosciutto sandwich and they were spectacular!

As a digital wellness advocate, I appreciate that they do not offer WiFi and have tables marked with “no laptops, grazie” and “laptop ok” to level set expectations with guests.

The outdoor patio is magical! The plants add to the special atmosphere.

The bathroom is very clean!!

A lot of organic products at this store. It is a clean location and staff is always very attentive to the customer. Some of the products are overprice comparable to other markets around where you will find exactly same product a lot cheaper. Definitely I love their rotisserie chicken, gourmet Coleslaw salad, and seafood. I found out they do specials for the rotisserie chicken and some other products on Thursdays. And this specials are a big saving for your pocket.
I love this place and it has become a permanent fixture within my grocery shopping. Best price on Organic Fresh produce,meat/chicken/tofu
A huge selection of wine, whiskey and beer/craft beer! Has every thing you need do not need to go to any of the crowed big stores. Best store to come to.

Amazing store with amazing and very kind employees like Arianna she’s always so kind to me and my family and the owner is a great person. They have the best lasagna I’ve ever had and the gunner bears that come in the plastic container are always so good and fresh 10/10 would recommend it’s an overall amazing store that cares about the customers and the products they have. I love that they had revolution brewery beers if you haven’t tried them yet I would recommend fist city it’s my top favorite. Overall the store employees and owner are all very respectful and friendly. Foods is always fresh and tasty! Come here for your best experience they have a little of everything!
We are Italian and have to hunt for many authentic products. Today we stopped in to see what type of olive selection was carried and were very happy to find that they had an excellent variety. We not only left with two large jars of olives but also purchased some fresh goat meat and a jar of grilled eggplant. We will return and highly recommend this market. Very friendly staff/owner.
Very charming little spot that has an extremely extensive craft beer and cider selection, wine and champagne options are also impressive. They also offer a selection of deli meats and cheeses that are packaged and ready to go. I also love that they have a San Francisco Sourdough bread among their specialty breads. The wall behind the counter holds a high end liquor selection that's impressive and rare for a smaller grocery store. And the bookstore like decor is really cool! Prices are very reasonable, the employees are really nice and I love love love, that they are open until 9pm every day of the week. Even Sunday! All covid precautions are observed, posted and enforced and the store is always clean. I've never had a bad experience there and continue to return!
The folks were very helpful, and the meat was fresh and trimmed up for me as I waited.

This market has horrible customer service. I check my bank account within the morning after buying the grocery, and found out that I was charged twice. I had called them to fix the mistake, but they told me rudely to back with the bank statement as proof. I had asked them to check their credit charged machine and advised them to not make the same mistake in the future, but they denied to do so. And rudely yelled at me on the phone that they cannot do anything and hanged the phone.

Cozy made to order pasta shop tucked away, in Park Slope. Was very interesting watching them create and cut up the fresh tagliatella pasta right before my eyes. Gnocchi dough was already prepped, but needed to be cut up. They packaged up the pasta to go so well. The care and preparation of the pasta is second to none here. Very quiet when we were there. Felt like there was complete concentration going on to make the pasta and we shouldn't interrupt. Next time we must order the ravioli stuffed with Burrata cheese (drool 🤤)!

This place is amazing!
