An incredibly indulgent collection of prepared foods as well as delicious cookies and desserts. Bright, clean and welcoming. Always a pleasure to shop here.

A big fan of the bagel scene here in NYC. The best I’ve had so far has been at Russ and Daughters. The selection is fresh and vibes are light and immaculate with an ode to the restaurant’s history. A big yes to their classic nova board (deconstructed lox bagel) and their potato latkes are fire! We also had to have their pumpernickel bagel with scallion cream cheese - simple but so satisfying. Waiting on our next visit.

Tapas with an Italian/Spanish focus. Some items were good, some not so good. For what you pay, there are better places to go for a meal. The Italian meat and cheese plater was very good, as were the chicken wings. The octopus, carboara pasta, and pork sandwich were not worth getting. The pound cake was better than the banana cake.

I used to visit Sahadis on Atlantic Avenue all the time.
Now I get to visit them in Industry City. The store is well stocked with a large variety of different food items. Check out tbe deli counter in the back.
Also, the wine section is fabulous.
Everyone should visit this store.

A special grocery store! We couldn't pack everything we wanted to take home, but fortunately they are online, and their book is a new addition to our kitchen ... and our Lyft driver validated its longstanding status as an excellent local purveyor of everything for every Middle Eastern cuisine ... a treasure!

I recommend trying this restaurant.

Very cute cafe with very friendly staff. The staff are welcoming, and knowledgeable about celiac disease. I had the classic board with a gluten free everything bagel, and it was delicious. I could not even tell it was gluten free, the bagel was fluffy and had a great crunch. The portion sizes were not huge, but tasted great. The whitefish chowder was a surprisingly good soup. It is out of my comfort zone, but was very warm and they made it gluten free by not adding the matzo. Please check this place out! Hot coffee was fresh and had great presentation.

Fantastic! The pastrami smoked salmon is the most delicious smoked fish I have eaten. The distinct smoked salmon flavor intensifies as the fat warmed and melted in my mouth. It was such a treat! The surgeon was also great as was the bagels. There is so much cool stuff to try and eat that a returned visit is definitely needed.

The food was good. Our waitress was pleasant. QR code menus are annoying and the glowing of phones really takes from the atmosphere. The menu is confusing as it doesn't say what each item is or has in it.

This is an excellent grocery store that offers Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Lebanese food. This includes freshly baked pita bread, manakish, sweets, kibble, tabbouleh, and a lot more dishes. Their dried fruit selection is also big and delicious.

I was looking for a nice NY Bagel so I went to Russ & Daughters which is an iconic Jewish bagel shop on the Lower East Side I got the Scallion Cream Cheese bagel toasted. There is also a wide variety of smoked and pickled fish and Jewish foods. The bagel was expensive $6 but it was well worth it the bagel was lightly toasted. The bagel was delicious and I was impressed with my experience.

This place has the best smoked salmon! They slice it straight from a side of salmon right in front of you. The slices are paper thin and beautiful. For our family of 4, we get 1lb of the Scottish salmon (thinly sliced), bagels and cream cheese, all a la carte, and then assemble at home. So simple and so delicious. Be warned, this is a small space and usually crowded, but full of atmosphere.

Pretty amazing shop! It was packed due to holidays and almost stayed there for an hour!
Had awesome bagel and cream cheese! They had a lot of options for fish! Being vegetarian they had still enough options for bagel and cream cheese!
I must say they do take a great care for customers even though being packed and customer service is a top notch!

The service, food, and atmosphere here were all top notch. We sat at the bar around Xmas time and were treated warmly and kindly by the team here. For a place that sells caviar as its primary cuisine, they were not snooty at all and I felt welcomed and taken care of. Obviously luxurious and not cheap but well worth it as well.
Prices are wild here. Some things are a great deal and others are outrageous. But it's got a lot of stuff so it's a great neighborhood market to pick up a couple things. I just wouldn't shop here for all of my groceries.

Legendary spot for lox. Great people and great bagel sandwiches. We got the Classic and Fancy Delancey. The classic is of course cured salmon, onions and capers with cream cheese. The fancy is tuna, wasabi roe, cream cheese, and other assorted delights. Just incredible. This one is worth multiple visits!

We came here to this Michelin star restaurant to celebrate a special occasion and it certainly delivered. The service was impeccable and the food was all out of this world delicious. Our favorites: the cocktails (wasabi one and the mezcal with cider), urchin and caviar, the sea bass with persimmons, the steak, and the baked Alaska with tumeric. These are the standouts to us. It's definitely costs a very pretty penny to eat here but if you are going to go all out, it didn't disappoint.

Stopped by around 1:00 on a Saturday for the first time and was BLOWN away by the food. The restaurant and the bathrooms were perfectly clean, and the atmosphere was so relaxed and laid back.

We got the garlic shrimp (10/10), Milano sandwich (oh my god 10/10) and the bocadillo bites (5/10).

Garlic shrimp was probably the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. My boyfriend loved the Milano sandwich so much he started to cry tears of joy. The bocadillo bites were kinda gross IMO, the pork belly was just fat globs but I forgive them bc the rest of the food was spectacular.

Cant wait to come back here and try the drinks, I’d definitely recommend!!!

My husband and I visit this store regularly. We’re not happy with their prices but we understand that everything has gone up. That said, the cashiers, in particular the one who is there first thing Thursday morning is rude and obnoxious. I also don’t understand their bagging policy. Why do they bag some customer’s groceries and not others? Interestingly enough it seems that only the minorities who shop there are the ones bagging their own groceries.
Never ever go to this overpriced store. Save your money everything is 5 times over priced. Better go to Trader Joes few blocks away. The food there is better and cost waaay less. In this store a small can of tuna The Westside Market sells for $17.99 in Trader Joes same can of tuna is $1.99. Plus I saw white mold on multiple of their fruits and vegetables which probably are staying there for months and months. All the positive comments are probably written from them from fake accounts or they paid someone to write them for them. You can hire AI bots today to write comments. They are not real. Don't go to this store.

We haven't eaten here yet, just drank, but it was top notch! Honestly the food looked amazing, but we were just there for drinks, and the wine while sitting on the couch felt like a top notch Friends episode. Also, be sure to ask the bartender for their favorite wines- they always recommend the best!

Excellent food, exceptional service, relaxing vibe, reasonable price.
Being a New Yorker you’re somewhat used to people being impatient and indifferent. That’s why I couldn’t believe what I heard after I made the reservation call: it felt like telling your grandpa you’ll be visiting for dinner and he said he couldn’t wait to see you. From the call to being served in the restaurant, Sahadi’s customer service is exceptionally warm and genuine.
Everyone is happy with their food: so tasty, flavorful, and well-displayed. I had chicken shawarma, orange blossom coconut flan, pumpkin ale, and I can’t wait to come back and try more. Their handmade pita is a gem and you can get it from their store just next to the restaurant.
Sahadi’s is now my favorite restaurant in Industry City. Thank you for making our Friday night so memorable!

Absolutely delicious!! The bagels were scrumptious!! This was our first New York bagel experience and it did not disappoint. They take the orders pretty quick so watch out for that. The options were limitless. They also have sweets and other prepackaged foods and drinks as well. The shop was pretty small with no seating and it gets pretty packed. It’s all worth it!

WSM at 97th is convenient for folks living west of Broadway. The food selection is fresh and good, if expensive. However the check out clerks regularly overcharge for items they key in. It happens so often I have taken to write this review, which I don’t regularly do. When you catch it, they don’t apologize. I wonder if it is part of the business model.

Food did not disappoint! They definitely don’t skimp on the acid, Garlic Shrimp and Branzino were rippin’. Octopus was cooked…perfectly. Probably some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Difficult to get right and I’m elated I took a chance on it.

Pound cake with sweet cream and berries was delicious!

Wines were good. Fairly typical and classic selection. You’ll find something you’ll enjoy there.

Everyone else is rating this 5 stars so I will too. It’s a nice little shop.

But I will say, their shawarma in my visit was ONE star - if that. Maybe 0 stars.

Why? When I got to het shawarma I want to say - “I want shawarma” and have the cook do the rest. They generally provide a delicious simple shawarma off a rotating spit, a thin bread, and maybe a light mayonnaise sauce and chopped cabbage at most. The whole shawarma should then be seared and it should be no larger than a tv remote.

In this instance, this shawarma was a soggy mess the size of a 2lb can on tomatoes. First off, there were a whole set of ingredients and I couldn’t just order “a shawarma”. I had to hand select 3 ingredients and keep going back to the cool answering the questions on sauces. The chicken did not come from a spinning spit, but rather a basin of juicy shredded chicken. The overpacked, lack of properly prepared chicken led to an awful shawarma with much room for enhancement.

Good news is they can do better. Bad news is they probably won’t without intervention.

Exceptional Quality and Large Variety of Products, including gourmet cheese, fresh fruits, every type and size of milk, ice cream, coffee (instant, beans and freshly ground) and cakes and pies, by the slice or whole, spices, beer, and salads, plus a long counter with freshly cooked, ready to eat foods, like salmon burgers. Last night I had ribs and vegetables and the best sweet potatoes I've ever tasted. Lets see...other worthwhile info: They are open 24 hours. The employees are all friendly and knowledgeable. The store is on Broadway btwn 98 & 97, MTA 104 bus stop right there, and the 1/2/3 train stops a block away at the 96th street station. Busiest time is mid to late afternoons, but no matter how many people are shopping, they instantly have 10 or 12 registers open, so there's never long slow waits to check out. They are a little bit on the pricey side, but like I said, quality stuff, and you get what you pay for. EBT cards are honored with no drama or judgements (except for hot, fully cooked meals). The clientele/customers are every type of cool New Yorker and there's always nice music playing, so the atmosphere is chill, just like the temperature. 👍🏻 5-stars & thumbs-up. ✌🏼

Great and affordable selection of grass fed meats, cheese, pastries, eggs, milk, etc. But the pantry items are outrageously expensive. As long as you know what you’re getting yourself into, it’s a great spot!

Words could not describe how mesmerizing the pistachio baklava is. It’s a family business and there is a lot of passion and thoughtfulness behind the goods that are being sold. You can taste the love from the moment you walk in, until the moment you wash away the last bits of heaven from whatever you decide to eat here.

Been shopping at Sahadi at least 40 years - food is great. This time in Industry city, Met friends for a light, outdoor dinner, under the tent. It was quiet and lovely. I imagine the weekends with music and the fire pit would be awesome. Limited bar menu. Wine was very good. We were a bit rushed at the end as they were closing.

We heard the jazz music and saw that a live jazz band was playing at Sahadi's. The menu looked good and so we decided to stay. What a gem of a place. The food is delicious. The iced coffee delicious. The jazz band was amazing (no exaggeration). The waiter Victor was very good and pleasant. We ordered so much food and liquor. The manager came over and gave us a treat. This is a new spot for us in Brooklyn.
I give this place 5+!
Caviars and presentation was amazing! Same with the selection of wines and champagnes great service. The only takeback I have is servers were by the bar wedding to attend and he was a little bit intimidating.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Caviar Russe, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we were greeted by our attentive waiter, Armando, it was clear that we were in for something special.

The ambiance and attention to detail were on par with my previous experiences at renowned establishments like Eleven Madison Park and Daniel. What set Caviar Russe apart, however, was the staff's deep knowledge of the caviar industry. Their passion for caviar was evident in both the menu and their ability to guide us through the selection process.

The dishes were exquisite, many of them infused with caviar in creative and tantalizing ways. The presentation was impeccable, with each plate elegantly showcasing the culinary artistry at work. Every bite was a revelation, and the tastings were some of the most innovative and delicious I have ever enjoyed.

If you are a fan of caviar, or simply appreciate fine dining at its best, I highly recommend a visit to Caviar Russe. The attentiveness of the staff, the beauty of the venue, and the unique flavors of the menu make this a must-visit destination. I eagerly look forward to my return to this gorgeous establishment.
Decent amount of jerky you get for the money, but maybe I got a bad pack? It was much tougher than any other jerky I've ever had, and extremely dry. Got the classic beef jerky.

For many years, this location was a go-to spot for grocery shopping in this neighborhood.
Unfortunately, I’ve witnessed the deterioration process over time as Sloan’s became Associated & then finally West Side Market.
Impolite (& at times hostile) customer service is the norm now, as are ridiculously elevated prices.
The other day I purchased an Am*s frozen pasta bowl and a pint of ice cream.
Cost me $20.

The food was exceptionally good, and there were some things I'd never had before. The big tray chicken and frog hot pots were great, and the fish fragrant eggplant was one of the best I've had.

The standout dish for me was the intestine and potato though. Just enough Sichuan pepper, and a clean bell pepper fragrance. A nice combination of textures too.

Will recommend this place to everyone.

Been here a few times. It’s a fine place for basics (milk, pastry, etc) but it’s pricey compared to other stores nearby. A lot of the fruit is bruised and doesn’t look fresh. And the takeout food and refrigerated deserts are not good. I’ve tried their salad, premade wrap, pasta, and 2 different cakes. Mediocre and not with the price.

Most stores put toys and candy near the checkout to harass parents. West side put a delicious display of berries and melons beside their front door and it derailed my 7yo who hates fruits and vegetables. We bought a box of strawberries and a half cantaloupe. She ate them all. Not only beautiful but tasty! Thank you so much for helping me win the fight for healthy eating.

After having a horrible racist experience by a local establishment that refused to service my group, we called Salumi and asked if they could accommodate us. The gentleman who I spoke with, was so sweet and polite. He let me know that they were booked with their prior Mothers Day reservations, but that at around 12/12:30pm, they would have tables. He then gave me the option of sitting at the bar, if we didn't mind. We were a group of adult moms, so we didn't mind it at all. Let me say, the staff at this location was absolutely welcoming and sweet even though their establishment was full. We sat at the bar and received the best attention and service. The food was so tasty and the portion size was just perfect. I regret not taking more pictures of the food. I am looking forward to visiting again and trying one of the boards. Keep up the great work! Thank you for rescuing our Mother's Day!

A family friend gifted us an "Italian board" for my wife's birthday and we have been hooked ever since.
All their menu selections are perfect. Made with well researched purveyd high quality ingredients. I highly recommend their boards but you can't go wrong with any item on their menu.
Wine selections are impeccable as is the entire staff.
Highly recommended.

My mother and I go to this store annually and we have always had a great experience. Unfortunately, I think Saturday was our last time visiting. My family and I were treated very poorly by an older woman who claimed to be the owner. I have never seen her in the store before over the MANY years we have been shopping there. She tried to kick me out of the store while I was shopping with my mother after she kicked out my siblings. I understand that the store is small which can be a problem with a large family. I understood that, if she would've left it at them having to stand outside the door none of the rest would've happened. Of course she couldn't let it be. She had to get in my face trying to kick me out when I was in fact buying things from her store. If she is the one running the place, I will not be back. I hope she was just there for the day because if not she will lose a lot of business with her sour attitude. When we were checking out, and my mother asked why the altercation happened, she told my mother that she had no patience. Well, as an owner, she should find some especially around Christmas time when families are down at the market shopping. It is such a shame, we have always loved shopping there and now we will be finding a new store to take our business too. I will say that the other employees behind the counter were very nice, and they even apologized for her behavior on her behalf.
The woman who claimed to be the owner of the store literally kicked a group of kids out because one dropped a strawberry and then began berating paying customers. horrible customer service from this woman. short hair grey hair and black glasses. it kept me from going in the store. which is a shame because it is a nice place. maybe just dont have that woman working the counter if she cant handle customer service. thanks.

Disappointed with the food here. Don’t think the chef is experienced with Chengdu cooking. The cold noodle is lacking some flavor from Chengdu. The vegetable dish is quite salty. The chili chicken dry pot is not dry and the chicken is not tender. This is the first time ever I see chicken feet inside this kind of dish. Chengdu Taste and Chengdu Impression are 2 much better alternatives in the area. This place was quite empty during lunch time which probably tells us something. Definitely would not return.
First time at Delicious Chengdu and it was amazing! We were in the mood for a spicy, authentic dry hot chicken and this hit the spot!

All the flavors for each dish were perfectly balanced. We love spicy food and this was a good spice but the flavors weren't overpowered by the spice. All and all amazing experience.

We came for the dry chicken (it's called popcorn chicken on the menu). Amazing with a heaping amount of the dry Szechwan peppers. Next time, I will upgrade to the extra spicy for an extra $2 to see how that is ;)

We also ordered the mapo tofu, string beans and fried rice. Everything was balanced. And the best part of our dinner was it was a massive amount of food. We took about half of each item home and can't wait to have that as our lunch today.

Thank you again for the wonderful experience and we will be back for sure!

Beware to ALWAYS check expiration dates on all products before buying, they obviously don’t which is really a safety concern.
We keep having bad experiences and while it is so convenient to quickly shop in your neighborhood we are very weary of the safety of the food- we bought ham last week to realized the next day that it was expired and chocolate croissants this morning that were so dry that kids did not finish them.
Great jerky selection! They even have vegan options if you want/ need. I loved the variety- they've got all kinds of exotic Meats, as well as the regular options. I got a Chipotle beef jerky, and a black pepper jerky. Very pleased. Good quality products. Will definitely come back
Such an amazing place to get jerky! We picked up a few different varieties and they were MOSTLY good!
Highly recommend any traditional meats here (pork or beef). We also tried the shark and alligator. Those were... interesting.
The staff here is very nice and extremely helpful in guiding us through the different type of jerky.

False advertising information
And rude service. They
Don’t serve hot food.
What a fantastic place! This establishment had the largest, most impressive selection of jerky I have ever seen in my life. The woman taking care of the store was extremely helpful. I'm super happy that I finally got to find some edible bugs and give them a try ! The scorpion was my favorite, it tasted meaty & salty. The super worms like cashews. The crickets like peanut shells and the ants mabye like sawdust. Everything I chose was unflavored. If you want to try flavored edible bugs they have a whole bunch of those as well. Also there was a couple of jerky samples I took on the way out the door that I look forward to trying. One of them is supposed to be real spicy. I can't wait.

I always visit the House of Jerky when I'm in the USA / PA area . Jim Thorpe is my favourite American town, and the fact that there is a shop which sells BILTONG !! Well what an added bonus . *** Note *** Slight correction to the packaging on the DROEWORS -- THAT is how it's spelt - pronounced DROOER VORSE it means DRY SAUSAGE . Your packaging describes it as DROWERS .Not a complaint, the contents were as good as any I have bought anywhere and your Biltong is A1 ( that is real praise from a 100% South African Biltong lover ) . Keep it up - I will be back !

My favorite is their classic fish with pickled cabbage. This plate is about the size of three people's faces. I also drank the soup so much that I shed tears because it was a bit spicy but delicious! 🤪

The chicken must be ordered! I can't eat peanuts but I still ate them because it's too delicious. I can't be the one who didn't eat them (if you can't eat peanuts, please remember to ask them not to add peanuts)👍🏻
The pork ear giving me a clear taste because I ordered a lot of meat, so I can exchange the flavor.

Came for the frog on a recommendation, but it's out of season. Waiter said customers were complaining about how frozen ones tasted.

Had the Duck and Tilapia in green broth. Couldn't give you their specific names, but was good nonetheless.
Great selection of flavors! Loved the 🌶 Red Chili Pepper Beef Jerky🌶! Great service and great options to choose from!
Best bread around Cleveland....
Lots of choices. Only two were available to sample but they were individually packaged in little ziplock bags for safe handling. I bought Beef sticks called Drowars and they were great. I’d pick up some other items next time I’m around.

Best service now ,they focus more on guest service.
The best place in the West side Market! Especially if you like cheese. Cheeses galore!

This is a store filled with Mediterranean coffees, cheeses, breads , nuts and exotic olive oils . They have a great selection of spices as well as prepared foods and outstanding bakery items specializing in baklava and other Lebanese cookies and candies. This is a huge store with a great array of all kinds of delicacies so be prepared to stock up! I was really impressed with their ice cream selection but knew that if I bought any pints, I’d have to eat it before we’d ever get them home to our freezer !

Though the item variety here is high, the expected store size means that the choices for each are further limited than usual. However, the somewhat linits of this offers instead a good range of personal non-food items in addition to a good deli meats selection being available here. Fresh produce is outside.
The owner is great to talk to. He made great suggestions about what we'd like. The jerky is absolutely delicious!!

Love ! Love ! Love ! Sahadi's! So nostalgic so homely! A wonderful place to get fresh nuts, chocolates, licorice, granola.... and that's just one storefront out of three. Hope this place is able to stay open in this location forever! The people who work there are always friendly, hardworking and amazing!
If you don't mind paying higher prices for food, then the Westside Market is fine.

Certain produce items are definitely overpriced, whether "organic" or not; an example of this were five medium-sized Meyer Lemons at just over $10 ($7.99 per pound), or a outrageous $2 for one lemon. More recently I returned to check the price for the Meyer Lemons and I immediately noted that the price had dropped to $4.99 per pound for a package of five lemons, however the size was now small rather than medium as before. I suppose $1 a lemon is to be considered a bargain at the Westside Market.

This store does have a large selection of imported and domestic cheeses and a daily selection of delicious freshly-prepared hot and cold soups, salads, vegetable, pasta and meat dishes. Its breads and rolls are also freshly baked daily.

There are many cashiers so even during busy periods the line moves quickly. This Westside Market is a very clean food store with tremendous variety of fresh and prepared foods, but be prepared for price shock.

Typical NYC deli with a nice selection of beverages and chips along with reasonably-priced Boar's Head cold cuts.
