Bad place for food delivery. I use Grubhub and have ordered many times from this place. They deliver very late almost 1 hour after the food should be delivered.

They sometimes cancel the order without letting Grubhub or me when I order and fake scam that they delivered the food. Then they accuse you that you’re lying and the order was delivered.

Fake scam place, don’t order online from here. They would scam you. They would accuse that the order was delivered even though they didn’t deliver it. This has happened to me many times, please avoid.

Avoid its tossed salad at all costs. $7.99 small salad comes in a bowl that’s half full. Not tasty either.

Great place to pick up fresh fruits and vegetables. Good quality produce, price is competitive as well.
I ordered a sandwich IN THE STORE and 90% of the items I ordered on the sandwich were missing when I got home to eat it. Do not waste your money!!! You've been warned...

Went here today. There was grey meat in the meat section. I got raspberries and kimchi. When I got home I realized the Kimchi was expired as of July 18 and the raspberries were totally moldy. So disappointed. I live in NJ and am not able to go back to return.
Very friendly people. Made great breakfast sandwiches in the morning. Five minute walk to Conrad hotel. A godsend! Crew that cooked morning sandwiches were awesome.

Such a cute place with delicious little pastries, jams and things. Was surprised with the customer service, girl with the tattoos was not friendly at all and seemed annoyed when I asked any questions about a pastry or what they have to offer. Unfortunate but I do see this sort of customer service often around Chattanooga.

I went there yesterday for the first time. The place is super cute, loved looking at all the fresh food they had. Of course, I had to buy a little of this and a little of that, so happy I did! This place is AMAZING!!!! The Farm Greens Soup is absolutely delicious, the fresh mozzarella is great, the heirloom tomatoes are to die for and the bread I have no words, besides that I will be gaining 10 lbs. by the end of summer! The bakery is fantastic as well. I have nothing to say bad about this place until I get my bill but that's my fault! lol I can't wait to go again this weekend.

Very nice farm stand. In addition to fresh vegetables and fruits, they have a very large baked goods section. Everything fresh baked and delicious. It’s a bit pricey but you are getting premium products.

I absolutely love this place! It makes me smile when I drive up to it. They have the most amazing baked goods and produce ever. Their buttercream frosting on their cupcakes and on their cakes is absolutely amazing. This place is the absolute best.
There are a variety of pastries, breads, and sandwich options to choose from. I got two loaves of bread (cranberry pecan and white). Both were soft in the center and perfectly crusty on the outside. I also got a croissant and cinnamon roll. Everything was wonderful, and major bonus points for having rock climbing books on hand!
Convenient, but a good 2/3 of items don't have prices listed, so you either enjoy the surprise at the register or the annoyance of having to ask a ton of questions with every visit. I generally avoid this place for this reason. It's not an uncommon practice in general, but this one of the more egregious examples.

Ordered on Uber, scam practice fish & bait...On website ice cream and milk and stuff on sale, for example says strawberry $3.50, actually charged me $7.50, on website ice cream on sale $5.99, charged $7.99...I bought a bunch stuff and end up paying extra 25$ dollars than what was asked for! Plus hidden fees from Uber.......scam scam scam...pleaseee if the product is not on sale..then dont lie abt it. I may just buy one product, instead buying 3 at one time!!!

Today, a racist old man and his wife bought some food and came to my checkout counter. He said he was buying the food for his wife's travel to Israel. I asked if these were kosher. He said contemptuously that he was Arab, and then started laughing. Then, he said he was Jewish. His attitude toward Kosher was clearly different from the Jewish shoppers I had met. Obviously, he was neither Jewish nor Muslim, he was just a pathetic racist. Whether he's trying to promote anti-Semitism or anti-Islam, discrimination shouldn't be allowed here. That's why I said clearly to him," I am not racist, and you are the same to me whether you believe in Judaism or Islam." This man was also recording people randomly in the store without their permission. This shows the kind of mentality these racists have. Such people are a disgrace to equality, liberty, and democracy.

Pope Francis once said, "It is not fair to equate Islam with violence. It is unfair and untrue." Food Bazaar welcomes and respects shoppers from varied backgrounds, including, but are not limited to, race, national origin, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, and socioeconomic status.

The manager, Brian, at the Douglaston store is rude and unprofessional. I was interested in knowing when concord grapes would become available in the produce section for purchase. I asked one of the cashiers to speak to a manager. Maria, who appeared to be managing the cashiers, made attempts to get Brian who was in the office to speak with me. I ended up waiting for about 10 minutes for his assistance, as he instead, kept sending others out to talk to me. Those of whom did not speak much English and I had trouble understanding and communicating with. Brian, himself, never appeared. I find that rude and unprofessional. A "manager" who has no consideration, concern, or respect customers, is not fit for the position.
Clean.
Convenient location.
I go here mainly because they stock my favorite Guyaki Yerba Mate tea.
Love the place . I buy the things I need for my cooking and snacks for my family. Different spices that I love .

The cinnamon roll was delicious, as were the double chocolate cherry cookies and chocolate chip cookies. The "nearly white" bread was to tough to bite and chew. We were only able to eat about 30% of the loaf (the very middle portion was just soft enough). I will be back for the dessert options.

Great selection, great produce. But: they don’t put price tags on items, or on the shelves. You have no idea what your total cost will be, it’s always a surprise when you’re rung up. Also, items marked "sale" on the shelf are rung up at the regular non-sale price. This is a frustrating experience, for any working person on a budget. Almost a deal-breaker for me.

Great selection but this place doesn’t have it together. No price labels on half the stuff. And when there is a label, they often end up charging you a vastly different price at the checkout counter, I can only assume that this is on purpose given how many times it’s happened to me (5+). Today I went for tomatoes at $1.99/lb and was rung up at $5.49/lb. Once I pointed it out, no issue, but given that this is a regular occurrence I’d suggest you keep very close eyes on the labeled price vs. register. Or just go somewhere else like Trader Joe’s or Wegman’s, which aren’t terribly far.

Staff here are very hit or miss. The workers at the register are always kind, personable, and handle everything with care.

Unfortunately, the staff that work at the grill/sandwich area are consistently careless and seem to have contempt for the customers. It seems they have forgotten that the things they are making are going to be consumed by people. Watching your food hit a dirty rag over and over, or seeing a person wipe their nose with their hand, only to continue handling food is unappetizing and unsanitary.

The location and hours are great, but I have hit my breaking point with this place. So long, Hudson Market!

The smoothies and açaí bowls at this place are horrible. I tried a smoothie here, it was tasteless, I figured maybe it was the kid of smoothie I chose. So another day I decided to try the açaí bowl. The açaí tasted like it was frozen for years before use, very watery and disgusting. The prices charged are insane for the lack of quality that is provided. Never again.

There is nothing more delightful than a loaf of artisan bread that is crusty on the outside and feather light on the inside. It’s even better popped into the toaster and slathered with real butter. You will find the most divine artesian breads here such as Garlic with cloves of real garlic, cheese and pepper, cheese, and anything but white, to name a few. Of course it’s not a bakery without cinnamon rolls, sticky buns or double chocolate cookies. The croissants are huge, yet supremely flaky and light in texture. Everything is made by hand here. A loaf of bread and two croissants were a little over $19. Very good parking.

I have attempted to call them several times this morning to place my order for the same sandwich that the employees themselves have encouraged me in the past to call ahead for since it takes 15-20 minutes to prepare. I work in the restaurant industry I’m a very patient person so assuming that they were busy I decided to walk in and place the order in person, but at my arrival I realize that there’s no other customers at this time and there’s a few different employees that could have answered the phone at any point. Why encourage customers to call ahead if their calls aren’t even going to be answered?
Refused to cash in a NY scratch off lottery ticket event though it’s required at a NY Lottery retailer
The guy who sells the staff there is a criminal. Some of the items do not have price tags, and it is word of mouth from him about the cost of those items. Prices are ever-increasing every week. This place is a rip-off store.
If I could give it 0 stars, I would!
These are the most depressing cheese fries I’ve ever had in my life.
The nerve to up the price of French Fries from $4 to $7 over a slice of American Cheese baffles me!

The owner should just close shop and find a new profession to ruin.

It is a really modern and organized supermarket with a good selection of products and brands, they do also have a vegan section for meat alternatives. It is not far away from my apartment, which is why I enjoy going there from time to time to grab a few things. Although I loved the City Acres in LIC, I would not recommend this one.

It has a lot of products where the prices aren't even displayed, and some products are long passed their expiration date.

You can scroll through the reviews, other ppl have mentioned it too. There are way cheaper supermarkets nearby as well, like Trader Joe's or local convenient stores. For a bigger selection, I can recommend walking a few blocks more to Wholefoods.

The guy that works at the night time is the most disrespectful person I’ve had to deal with. He is extremely rude to the customers. All I was trying to do was understand him because he has a heavy accent an he got mad an hung up the phone. Every time I call he hangs up because he knows it my number. I go to the store allot an don’t have any problems with any other worker but him I’ve been hearing from other customers I’m not the only one dealing with issues. If this matter does not get fixed me my family and friends won’t come back to this store anymore

I come here often to buy lunch and today was such a disappointment! There was roaches crawling on the buffet containers. I reported it to a nice young man and he went over to another man. I waved over to him and wanted to keep what I had to say discreetly. He was not friendly. I said to him: Hi I wanted to let you know that there are roaches crawling on the buffet containers but you didn’t get here on time so that you can see it. Now the roaches crawled back into the containers. He was very dismissive and said this is New York City and you’re going to see roaches. He said it with an attitude. I said to him I was just letting him know discreetly but had I’ve know he was going to respond to me like that. I would have just let everybody know at the buffet bar that I just saw several roaches on the buffet containers. Then afterwards he said thank you for letting me when told him this. I felt very embarrassed and I wished that I hadn’t said anything and just took a picture. I didn’t take a picture of the roaches because I thought that since I was letting someone know it would be suffice. Usually there’s an Asian young man who stands overseeing the buffet but he wasn’t there today. I lost my appetite completely and will never return to this establishment. I told all of my coworkers.

I like the location and I’ve been coming to this store since before the pandemic. But - over and over- I have an issue with expired goods that are still on the shelf and I accidentally buy. Or I bought chicken meatballs yesterday (Saturday) from salad bar and says they are still good for two days but they clearly went bad, terrible smell /taste
Got the sicilian panini here at 2am in the morning one night out. Topped the night off perfectly and the people working there were super kind. Nice selection of other ethnic products there as well. Will come back if i get the chance.

$7 for the most basic of French fries. I understand this is New york, but for $7, at least give me a crinkle cut or those crispy fries. These fries were so limp. I wish I'd taken a picture. This rating is only based on the French fries.

Best bakery in town! Not only do they put a lot of time and energy into the perfect pastries, but they also pay living wages and use the best ingredients for their products. I have a hard time leaving without eating a few slices of bread on my way out. Their croissants are amazing, as well as to-go pies and other treats. They are my go-to stop for nice gifts/food to bring to events, dinners, etc. Highly recommend- you get what you pay for and this place is worth it!

I hate to agree with all of the 1 star reviews here but was a regular customer and had a terrible experience over a tiny issue but the horrible worker, was unbelievably rude. Tried to reason and deescalate but the worker was ridiculous. I've seen the owner around, seems nice. So it's sad to see this guy is affecting his business. Tried to call to ask for a call with the owner and they hung up on me. And what's worse, they said they wouldn't cancel my order or refund me the money.
Ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich and when I got home they gave me just lettuce and cheese… lol

The place looks nice but is deceiving. I ordered a wrap which was $8 on the menu but was charged $10 + tax. My first time here and I also witnessed one of the employees physically throw a someone out of the place…. very violent and disturbing.

Overall I would not come back as I don’t feel safe here and I’m not paying $10+ for a kid’s size wrap.

My local supermarket and gas huge selection of just about everything from American to Chinese to Korean items. Each department is well stocked and super organized. This Food Bazaar has a huge parking lot and it’s easily accessible right off the Long Island Expressway.

It’s no doubt one of the better supermarket in the Bayside, Little neck, Douglaston area however prices a tad higher than others nearby keeping it from 5 stars
No bagel option but solid sausage egg and cheese on a roll for an extremely reasonable price of $6. Asked for the roll to be panini pressed so the cheese would be melted.

Extremely enjoyable shopping experience in this quaint market with fresh produce, delicious bakery and plenty of seasonal goods for the household. Plenty of fresh vegetables and baked goods on top of refrigerated/frozen prepared foods to stock your kitchen. Tasteful pieces of kitchenware and decor line the shelves giving you plenty of seasonal options to spice up the home.
I bought about 5 goodies and the manager overcharged me - $82. His biscuits are expired and the sausages don't have expiry dates. That's dodgy business! And oh he says bring cash next time. Sigh, GOODBYE!

Please recommend another SA store that sell boerwors, pretty please!!!

Awesome experience! I bought a bunch of stuff in the bakery and had the most delicious soft bread with olives baked in. The vanilla cream soda is the best I ever had. I paired it with spinach dip and finished it off later with cheesecake carrot cake cupcakes which were yummy. I also purchased apple butter which was good. Loved the sunflowers for pics as well. It was a nice time. Maybe next time I’ll try their coffee and other fresh baked goods :)

The customer service I received today from this establishment was above and beyond. I ordered food through UberEats and there were issues with one of the items I ordered. UberEats was not helpful with the situation, so I called Bedford Gourmet Food. The person who answered the phone was extremely friendly and listened to my issue. Then, they offered to remake the order and deliver it to me at no charge. I was pleasantly surprised. When the replacement item came it was exactly as I had initially ordered it. I appreciated how well Bedford Gourmet Food handled this situation and went out of their way to make it right. They definitely created a repeat customer in me. Highly recommend!
Great for cheese platters, picnic items, or fresh produce. Only gave it 4 starts because it definitely doesn’t have everything I would need from one shop - but has great options.
honestly the best deli I’ve ever been to. i’ve been going here for about 10 years now and still enjoy it.
Workers are extremely slow paced...ordered a Philly cheese on a roll then charges me 9 dollars...since they the only deli in area they charge what ever they want...won't go back rather stay hungry
The panini I got there first day was very good. Since I liked it the first day, I decided to try out a cream cheese bagel for breakfast and it was pretty good. It was quite a variety of items to order as well as drinks and snacks to buy. The service is ok but definitely not amazing and as friendly as often expected. Aside from that, it's good for a quick snack.

They have a salad bar menu so I ordered a Cobb salad that was on the menu. The cook had no idea what it was as the salad cook. I said forget it and got charged 9$ for a large coffee and a apple turnover. I asked for light and sweet coffee, must've forgotten the sugar
Charged me $$55 for 6 items, and their potatoes were GREEN. Absolutely the worst grocery place I've been to.

Great corner deli/bodega with an impressive selection of food, drinks, snacks, and sundries. Their snacks selection is impressively varied. The people who work here are very nice, the place is kept clean, and the hot food is very good for the price. Great place to pick up that one thing you need or are craving.
Unfortunately three workers there need customer service training there are rude all they due is gossip about there things . When u make your order they don’t pay attention they give you the wrong orders Also they over charge . Yes they made mistake with my sandwich I went to speak to her and lady didn’t want to hear it . So I was charge for another sandwich I would like to know who is the owner . Shame on them unfortunately there Latin but not all Hispanic are that way !!! . I would not put my foot 🦶 there anymore . If the owner is reading this you should be aware of your workers there having party time there with all the over charge and mistake they make and they most important things they don’t even say Good Morning . So rude and under educated . 775 9th Ave, New York ,NY 10019 This the business 👩‍💼.

Aside from its proximity to my apartment and a decent produce/vegetable and beer selection, I don't like going here because I keep encountering expired products on the shelves. I noticed it during the first wave of COVID in late March 2020 after buying an expired package of sliced ham, but I figured they had bigger issues on their hands at the time---staffing, supply issues, consumer rush during the pandemic---so I let it go.

But on 11/16/2021 I saw at least 5-6 refrigerated products that had passed their "best by" dates by *several weeks* --- hummus dated 10/8/21 (39 days past) and 10/25/21 (22 days), cottage cheese dated 11/1/21 (15 days) and 11/4/21 (12 days). I went again yesterday, 11/20/21 and saw dried fruit dated for April 2021. They need to do a thorough check and pull this stuff from the shelves.

Another issue is that products frequently don't scan at their advertised sale price. You really have to watch each item as it's scanned or you'll miss it (cashiers are quick), or check your receipt before leaving. No one wants to go back to complain about a $0.75 difference for something, but if the store does this with dozens of products X hundreds of customers for months and months, that adds up pretty quick for them ($$$).

All photos from 11/16/21
My favorite neighborhood bodega with hands down the best bodega coffee ever. The bfast sandwiches are great as well. They also have a great produce section with fresh fruits and veggies (overpriced but nice if you're in a rush to get something quick)
What a great addition to this neighborhood.
Super clean. Great selection. Fresh deli items. Staff was welcoming and kind.
I look forward to returning.
As a photographer, Bread & Butter is one of my favorite local businesses! Everything is made in house, and they are always experimenting with new recipes! This is the perfect spot to pick up sandwiches on the go or a tasty baguette for dinner! I couldn't recommend them more!

I love my guys. I’m the owner for this place I appreciate all my customers coming to my store
Deli customer service is awful. So rude. Never will come back again. I could understand if I requested anything extra, but just ordered a salad. That’s set. Guys, if you are tired, just take some rest. There is nothing to be rude with customers for that. People pay for the food, they don’t get it for free. Giving 2 stars bcz cashier ladies are so nice and they have a smile.

Great produce selection. They seem to have everything one could need, but there is definitely a weird vibe. City Acres is big and fairly easy to shop, but it’s usually a little messy with stuff unnecessarily in the aisles and sort of sloppily arranged. It’s never very busy and often oddly underpopulated for an NYC grocery store.
Be careful to check your receipt before leaving the store. Prices are not on the items and the rude gentleman guesses prices as you check out. I paid $19 for an item last week, same item was $27 this week. That wasnt enough, he warned me, never to come back with a credit card because he will charge me extra because he has to pay the credit card company. My bill was $61 and he was threatening to add costs. He lost a customer today. Sausage rolls were old and stale. Would not recommend this store. Food inspectors need to pay him a visit.
Smoothies are delicious. They have many different choices to choose from . I come from Brooklyn just to buy their salads, sandwiches etc. A bit pricey but I feel its worth it. Workers are polite especially in the deli!!

Convenient if you need things here and there but the staff do not regularly wear masks- including the guy who makes the food and the woman who touches your items at the register. I've noticed this for the past 8 months+ of COVID. They have a good selection of food, drinks, etc although more expensive than other bodegas.

Amazing selection of drinks, deli open 24 hours a day with a menu consisting of 100+ items, salad bar, plus really delicious fresh juices and smoothies. These guys run the best (and cleanest) bodega in Williamsburg.
I work a block away from this deli at Asphalt Green and can say I will never go to it again after today. On two separate occasions my call in orders have been messed up. First time I called in 10 minutes prior to my break time and asked for a hamburger. Upon arriving to the deli I asked the line cooks where I can pick up my order. The cook responded with a snobby attitude and told me to pick it up at the register when I get to the register I’m then told to pick it up from the cook line (already frustrated because it seems no one know where food is retrieved from.) After some back and forth the burger is finally found. With the time I wasted to get to find my food and get back to work half my break was done. To top it all off when I get to my job the burger was very well under cooked to where I couldn’t even eat it ... I should’ve just taken a bite into the cow itself. Somehow I was able to let that slide until today when I place the same order 10 minutes in advance to me going on my break, and when I arrive to the deli the cook says “oh it wasn’t put on the grill” it’s seems they are just here to take peoples money but don’t really care about customer service furthermore the deli was not that busy either they’re incompetent or really don’t give a sh*t. I also spoke to the manager on duty and he did absolutely nothing to help me or to accommodate my inconvenience. The staff in this place has no etiquette what so ever except for when you’re paying. and that is it.
If you're South African and living in Texas. This shop will give you a tiny taste of home.

I go to school Monday and Wednesdays and although this place is very expensive I still shop here. Great place to sit down and eat and feel at ease. The two gentleman that are always in the main squeeze area are both amazing. The guy with the red beard has great customer service skills andI always feel compelled to buy something because of him. Feedback to store: plz do something about those prices. Some of these prices are irrational and I would categorize it as robbery sometimes. $9 for a tiny bit of meatless chili is crazy as an example. I would still recommend this place if you have some money to blow. For context, I usually eat here twice a day. Coffee and donut in the morning and then lunch. That would normally come out to almost $30. If I get a smoothie I'm hitting over $40. Plz change.
Nice crew members(employees) and the price is not bad(cheap). Regarding the manager Mr Donald, he should be replaced. He don’t know how to talk and respect his customers and employees. He is short tempered and there is always an employee replacement because of his actions.
Great sandwiches and big drink selection, can't go wrong anytime of day here.
We went in so excited and purchased items off the shelves in memory of what we grew up eating. When we started checking out the clerk rang up a higher price for the biscuits/ cookies and when we corrected him he clarified that 2 are a different lower price and not all 3. So how did he know that, yet still charge us a higher price for the items. That’s the clerk in the picture. Don’t take advantage of people that enjoy what you sell or they will find somewhere else to go due to losing trust in your business.
Fresh quick wraps and other prepared lunch dishes. Good selection of fresh vegetables. The soup is where it is at here. Every day the cook has 3 new soups of the day, each being authentic in flavor and then some. Broths to each soup have their own flavor appeal without being too thick and unctuous like Hale and Hearty. Don't bother with the chicken noodle soup as it is not nearly as spectacular as the others hidden under the tops.

This grocery store is brand new to the neighborhood and very clean. They carry a lot of food on the shelves and ready to eat (pictures attached). Unfortunately, this market is just too expensive for the neighborhood. bottled drinks run for around $5-$7 here but at the Duane Reade up on 59th and 11th : the same drinks cost $3-$5. I bought some of the hot pastas and a salad from the food bar that is pictured. The pastas were soggy and the salad mix that I tried was mis-marked. The food bars at hudson marked cost $11 per pound plus tax, but Whole Foods in the Shops at Columbus Circle offers much healthier options for $9-$10 per pound. Would not recommend.

Relatively new place and still in the process of getting every element up and running.
Although, they're open for business.
Gourmet grocery store located on the far west end of 57th Street.
Good variety of produce and some speciality products.
There's a wonderful charcuterie station along with a coffee station, a smoothie bar and some wonderful prepared foods station, just to name a few.
Great place with excellent potential to bring highly desired and diverse food items.
Great location and open daily.
This place has the potential to be a very popular spot.

Nice supermarket but items are over price. If you live close and just want to make a quick pick up on some home/food needs, this place works for you. The smarter shoppers will head to other supermarkets that can save you a lot more. If you want to make your money last more or pick up more items for the same amount of cash, then go someplace else and you get a bigger cart of products for the same money you spend here. Market is clean and keep very organized. Staff is friendly and when asked, willing to give you a helping hand. Just one problem, most don't know where to find anything. So you run around looking for what you need.
If you work in Battery Park just go to Terry's next to Stuyvesant for lunch. I wanted to give it a try and this is what they give you for a turkey blt @ 8 bucks. A slice of turkey folded.
The delivery service here is inflexible and unfriendly (don't dare call to change the delivery address), but the breakfast sandwiches are amazing. The chipotle and egg sandwich on a portugese muffin is incredible and a must-try. The prices are reasonable too.
