Due to an unclean/unorganized fitting room at this store, I stepped on the pin of a security tag with my bare foot. Needless to say I was not too happy. There is no excuse for security tags (especially facing upwards) to be on the fitting room floor. Talk about gross negligence.
i just wanna say i didn’t catch the one lady who was working there’s name this evening but my gosh 30 minutes before close i needed to run in to grab a work outfit-she was so kind so helpful and im sad to say this kind of service especially in retail is far and few between but thank you kind soul for helping me you are appreciated! love express!

I love express .. However the Fox Valley store gets a ZERO for customer service. Especially the store manager Hannah. Sadly I just observed her been super rude, and inpatient to a customer who only wanted to exchange a shirt and spoke very little English . The lady exchanging the shirt had her little 8 year old girls translating for her. When the manager walked away irritated that she had to go look for another size, The lady said to her girls she wanted to cry and felt helplessness because of the way she was been treated at a place where she is spending Money.. Although the manager did not speak Spanish, she could have gotten help from the other employees at the store who might have spoken Spanish , or she could have shown more patience,
respect and compassion to someone who is spending their money there and needed help ! …I felt compelled to write this review on the lady’s behalf.. I was next in line and to my surprise Hannah’s attitude was still the same. Arrogant, unfriendly and just flat our RUDE! She asked me for a tracking number which I did not have, she told me to look it up in my email. I mentioned I have returned clothes before w/o needing other than my ID, my express credit card , or phone number. After struggling to find it in my emails she finally got fed up and asked me to just enter my phone number which could’ve been done when I first said I didn’t have it.. When I asked for a manger she arrogantly said “I am the manager” .. Which was even more DISSAPOINTING!!! How can someone like Hanna be in charge of the store 🤯??!!….So far the worst experience at my favorite store !

I had a terrible experience at express in tanger outlets today, my favorite go to place, see I was looking for elegant meeting dress and after searching for a while I found breathtaking attire unfortunately I couldn’t find my size on the shelves, so I politely ask for an employee who seems to busy with her phone if she can help me look for my size, she informed me that they don’t have it no more with out even looking for it, then I ask her if I can get it from the mannequin because the mannequin was wearing the size I was looking for, she then inform me she can’t, I reach out to the manager hoping for a resolution, he was completely unprofessional he started yelling at me in front of my kids just because I asked to get the dress from the mannequin totally unacceptable, I never had any issues at express I shop there a lot, unfortunately this is my last I know I can’t stay away from express but I definitely have to change the location my daughter was literally crying, I’m sorry for experiencing this at express, I don’t understand why they chose unprofessional guy like him to represent express at tanger outlets, deeply saddened for my kids to witness such unpleasant moments with me today

Terrible Staff. None of them want to work. Yesterday I simply asked a question is there a fitting room? And the gentleman wouldn't even make eye contact and stated: its on the other side (while having an attitude).
Next we go to the front desk to ask a question. The other gentleman was mad my fiance asked how much a shirt cost. After we made the purchase he aggressively opened a bag for the item. And giving attitude when she said thank you. The guy was clearly annoyed being at a job who pays him, and thought being friendly was too much for what he is getting paid. Will never go again. Train the management and staff to actually treat customers with respect. Not hard to be friendly. If it is hard then you shouldn't work in customer service.

The clearance rack is loaded. Friendly and helpful employees. Store is clean. Catch their sales and you will find something for everyone. Check it out!

No reason your fitting rooms should be closed. It’s a clothing store. If I wanted to order clothes without knowing whether they fit I’d order online. Longtime express customer. Extremely disappointed. Now you will reply stating you appreciate my feedback and nothing will be done…..
The manager is rude and talks down to people. Could use a reality check or maybe have one of the other great employees do the job instead of him

The fitting rooms were closed for "budget reasons". Literally the only reason to shop in store is to be able to try on the clothes.
I had about 8 things in my hand (~500$ worth) and the people I was with had similar. When we got to the fitting room to be told we can't try them on, we just put them down and left. The store both missed the sale and still had to put the clothes away.

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve experienced shopping retail. Walked in the store layout was amazing, and Debby was very helpful in my selection.

This place is super inconsiderate. The company wouldn’t help with expensive clothes that were tailored incorrectly. Essentially told us to just deal with it. I wasn’t even looking for a refund, just store credit but all they could offer was $20 after I spent hundreds, ridiculous.
The Morgan Formal Flocked Velvet dress saved the day!!! My local dry cleaners ruined my original dress I was going to wear to my friends wedding the Day before her wedding at 6pm. I RANNNN to the Newport Mall, Jersey City. Went straight to Windsor, and the Manager and sales associates were the BEST, Vilma, Mia and Brianna, this was back in August 2022. I saw this dress and my heart dropped, but they didn't have my size on the floor yet ( since they were restocking) Mia and Brianna were helping me find different dresses that fit my vibe, my size, with only 30 minutes before they close, they were still giving me the best service. Months later I am still beyond grateful. I was about buy a different dress, but the manager could see I really wanted the green dress. She went above and beyond to find my size. I literal CRIED at the register. I was SO HAPPPY!!!!!!

I used to visit this Express Outlet before, it used to be maintained very well. Today I saw completely different picture. All the trial rooms were full of cloths and it seemed like it was not cleared for couple of days to atleast mininum. I really did not expect it to see store in this bad shape. I am not sure if I will feel like returning back here.

It was a store I don't normally go into. It's not normally my price range or style. However I was looking for a nice dress shirt to wear for my fiance's and I engagement pictures. We found two shirts that will work perfectly and on sale. We paid 40 dollars for shirts full price would have been over 100 for both. Overall great experience and would definitely go back.

BEWARE! Check your account after any transaction you make at this store. I made a return here and it was never refunded to Mr account! Unfortunately I lost the receipt by the time I realized my refund had not been issued......
The two girls working there today were such great help! I went in for a dress and was ver indecisive, they asked me about what event it was for and helped me decide. Windsor is one of my favorite stores to shop at and having great customer service is always a plus!
If you are thick with curves, don't waste your time. I don't know who express makes clothes for but you can have any hips or be short. This particular store was in shambles that day. I left very disappointed. 2 thumbs down 👎 👎
I wish I can give zero stars. One of the worse express store I have ever been too. No professionalism at all. There was incorrect price tag on the jeans and when the lady ringing us informed me that’s incorrect tag on the counter. We still bought the jeans. However, at the end I asked the lady if she can remove the sign since it’s incorrect. She said “no that will stay there” what kind of bs is that. Very inappropriate and disrespectful behavior

Great customer service, the store is very clean with security. Hard to find street parking nearby, and the clearance section is pretty limited. Overall, good place to pick up some more formal wear.

I didn't expect the service to be as good as it was. You greeted as soon as you walk in the door. I went to Banana Republic to buy pants for my husband. The employees were very friendly and helpful and showed me where they were. She gave great suggestions and ideas for the pants and provided me with information about the prices and fit and different styles.
Everything's still expensive at the shops. Its better to book the product online at a great discount and then go there to pick it up from the shop. We went there to collect a 'coach' handbag that we'd booked online at a good price.

I am a frequent customer at express. I came into this location around 8pm and was ready to try on at 8:10 noticed the fitting room has a clothing rack in front of it. Three associates were standing talking at the register nobody could bother to ask me if I’m doing okay or bother to tell me the fitting rooms are closed. I spoke up and asked excuse me are the fitting rooms closed & the male associate was rude and short then went back to gossiping at the register. Fitting rooms are closed early but all the associates standing at the register talking instead of working. Really disappointed at this experience will be going to another location now on.
I really like this location; I can always find a deal. The staff also always greets me upon walking in and they are very helpful and friendly. I was looking for a brown tie and one of the staff members though they were sold out, so I went to check out. Little did I know, he was still trying to help me and ended up finding me a brown tie with a little dazzle dazzle on it. I can’t wait to rock it this week at work.
If I had to say one not so good thing about this location, it’s that you can’t exchange and/or return items from the regular express at this store (I guess this is more of a tip).

My amazing experience with the general manager in the store on Monday, Sept. 26 will have me coming back many more times. The clothes are great, but the customer service is always on point. Just wish they’d put the clearance section back into size order instead of color, but I’ll deal with that!
Received the salesman very lost. They don't want to receive customers. I need to buy clothes for my husband, need some help, but want to kick me out. Just because my 5-year-old daughter accidentally sat on the shelf and fell down, my child scratched her leg and couldn't walk. but they didn't ask a question but said hello and kicked me out. the clothing store is very famous but it shouldn't have such bad staff. sorry I don't want to say it but I'm so sad. LITERALLY BEST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD! The girls were super helpful went to look in the back for like 20 dresses they thought I would like, and on top of that they helped me match it with jewelry and steam it. Customer service 12/10. Plus they have a great dress selection! I love it here

Love going shopping here! We didn't find any great deals however it'sbetter than going to the mall because this is like a mall outside. They have a nice food court. The only issue that we had was locating the restrooms! They were always so far away from us too.
Not sure what's happening but store was almost empty of the merchandise. We were advised that new collection is getting dropped. But as a customer I would expect store to always have minimum to support a shoppers need. Was looking for polos but all what was available was white or black that too in few sizes.
We were absolutely delighted by the quality of the store and it’s employees. Specifically, the manger Rachel went above and beyond for us and helped us to find the perfect clothes. She is a great professional employee and is an asset to the company.

Perhaps the worst customer service I have experienced to date. When I approached the counter at the front of the store, I waited as two associates had their backs turned to me. After waiting a minute or two, I said “excuse me,” to inform of my presence. The male associate rudely said, “can you wait”? That I did. A few minutes later, he proceeds to take a phone call. He then thanks the person on the phone and approaches me a bit later and gives me a blank stare. I remarked that it was customary to thank a customer for their patience, as he’d done with the customer on the phone. He walked away without a word. I completed my transaction with another employee and called after leaving the store to speak with the manager. This experience left me absolutely flabbergasted. I exchanged an item later in the day at Express Edit in DC and experienced significantly better customer service. This store appears to be an outlier and poorly managed.

Went there to make a purchase. They guy who claim to be the manager was extremely rude. We went to the cashier no one else was there, yet he told us to go back and go through the barriers. I can understand if other people were there in a line. We would never break a line but no one else was there. He then told us we have to wait until the cashier is ready to take us. Again no one else was there. This guy is very rude and should not be dealing with customers much less he said he was the manager. We didn’t bother to purchase the products. We left and will never ship there again. If I could give no star I would.
I first wanted to say I love that Windsor is now in Newport Mall not sure when it opened up, however I called in and spoke with the assistant manager she was very attentive and so sweet! I called in to check if they had two pieces I was looking for she took down my number and style numbers and said she would call me back, which she did. The store had my two piece, thank God, and Nia offered to steam it for me, which I am a VIP at Windsor and no other store has ever offered that so A+++++. I can’t wait to go in and browse around. Thank you so much Windsor crew from Jersey City. You guys definitely are setting the bar very high for exceptional customer service 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I can’t say enough just how amazing the store manager, Saidah, is at this location! I was in desperate need for a dress last minute and found a few options I needed asap. I called a few locations and by far this Windsor location was the most helpful and patient in searching their inventory (in addition to other locations)! Saidah helped me over the phone and upon discovering she had one dress left in my size she graciously put it on hold for me and did not give it up to other customers eyeing the dress!!! Would not go anywhere else. Once I got to the store I found that all the employees are just as pleasant, patient and helpful. They truly go above and beyond for the customers, whether you’re purchase is small or large - and in my experience that is hard to find.

Firstly, I was looking for a dress for my bachelorette party, and I immediately found a lot of fun and glitzy dresses to try! However, I came by myself and didn't have anyone to give me an opinion.
When I put on the dress that I ended up buying, Nia enthusiastically encouraged me to get the dress! It wasn't just her compliment that I appreciated (and for sure that always feels nice :) ) it was her helpful opinions on the size I should get, how it would look with the rest of my accessories, and how it compared with other dresses.
Needless to say, she was really sweet and helpful, and made my first time shopping at Windsor great! Highly recommend her and the store!

LOVED my experience here! I stopped by to return a dress I ordered - I was originally planning on wearing it to a graduation I was running, but it was too tight and could barely fit over my head. Nia and Breanna were SO great, I told them my dilemma and without asking, they dedicated so much time speaking to me and going throughout the store to pick out a few options that were appropriate and might fit. Needless to say, they helped me find the perfect dress and I'm so excited to wear it! Thank you guys, I'll be sure to come back!

You have a store full of employees (3-4) and the dressing room is closed due to "understaffing reasons". Staff members are not even cleaning/organizing the store. All of them where just talking to each other about non-work related things in the registry. This is definitely costing Express some sales.

They always have signs on the door about different hours. One day they didn't open til 3, another day I came and they closed at 2. Very frustrating.

I came in Saturday, July 10th in the afternoon. It was very a very clean store, not much fashionable clothing to pick from but I found 4 items I did not already own. I LOVE EXPRESS, I always shop there it doesn't matter what city or town I'm in. This location was depressing, the associates did not greet me nor ask if I needed help finding anything. The ladies at the register had a bad attitude. I was really surprised, not what I am used to. Two male associates where having a whole conversation right next to me while I waited to check out. Yes, I waited to check out, eventhough the ONLY customer was me. Lol The ladies at the register acted as if I was not standing there to pay. I did not get mad, I laughed when I walked out and wondered why this store has so many stars on Google. Anyhow, just giving my honest experience.
Great Lakes is about 30 minutes from my home and we don't venture out that way very often. I needed some jeans and like Express's stretch jeans a lot. We took a trip out and was told their changing rooms close after a particular time. I had to buy the jeans not knowing if they'd fit. I did that and come to find out, they didn't fit. So another ride out there today where the mall closes at 8pm to see the gate partially closed at 6:30pm. They said they close at 7pm unlike the rest of the mall. So another trip out there to exchange the close that didn't fit me and again, couldn't try them on because they were closing. The lady working mens was rude, I asked for the same jeans but in a specific size, didn't say anything but walked away. I could tell she was looking for that fit jean and where they were located in the store and when she found them the only thing I heard her say was "their on that rack there". Not sure why I would have expected anything else as my visits there have always been consistently bad. I hope to god my clothes fit because I refuse to go there again!
Came in over the weekend with my sister and we found these zip up jackets for 14.99- a great deal! The sign said extra 60 percent off clearance tag so we expected the jackets to ring up around 6 dollars. The man who rang us out told us there was no extra 60 percent off and said it was ten dollars- because they had another sign that said 10 dollars all tops. But no extra 60 percent. We tell him, the sign is literally right there and he turns around to ask a manager, coordinator? Not sure, but turns back around and says no they were placed wrong there is no extra 60. Its ten dollars. Its crazy to me, that the stores literal signs says extra 60 in bold letters and according to employees its not. He didn't offer to check and see if the signs we were pointing at were correct he just gave us an ultimatum saying they must have been placed wrong. Mind you, there were so many of these jackets placed in the same area. As a retail worker myself, this would never be correct manner in dealing with a situation like this. Rather the employee sounded quite annoyed (I get it, its the weekend and you're tired) BUT we were not rude about it. It really made the situation seem like it was our fault and the signs they had for their promotion were somehow wrong? Point being, I know retail sucks but don't treat customers rudely when they aren't being rude.
Tough say for this one. The store is small and pretty cramped. Some staff are great but there were a couple that really put me off a deferred me from wanting to return to that store again. They also told me I couldn't use my coupons in the store, only online. Is that odd or is it just me?
Prices were great. The selection was good . However, it was difficult to find 'regular sizes. Many items had XL or small sizes only.
Worst customer service. Continual decline of store quality. Nobody offered a fitting room. And passed by me multiple times. Finally got a room. Never checked on me, needed another size with no help. Two people working wandering around store ignoring customers. Finally went to check out and once I made it to the register the young woman walked right away from me. Left me at the register, didn't say a word to me before leaving me. Watched her walk back and start hanging clothes and trying to ignore customers. I was at the register just standing there waiting for her to come back. Made eye contact with her and she rolled her eyes and walked further away. Never came back to help me. Ridiculous! Young people with 0 customer service skills running this store. Please send someone to train these people.

I bought a dress on sale in store as an option for an event. I ended up wearing a different dress and going into the store to return the dress from this location. The associate told me it was "stained all over" and not in adequate resell condition. It was in a bag from the time I left the store until the time I returned it. Maybe this store shouldn't sell products with deodorant all over them and then blame their customers for the lack of quality assurance on their part. This is not the first time I've had problems here with returns, I am done with this location.
Great overall experience at this location. The gentleman that was working was friendly and helpful and made sure I was finding everything I needed without being the typical helicopter retail sales worker. The store was very organized and clean down to the fitting rooms. Also, they had the best deals on dress shirts.
Some seasons/years they nail it: I’ll buy every color of a style; but other times I can’t imagine who designed the trash. The prices are good when there are sales (don’t buy otherwise, just wait). Parking is annoying. Like all clothing stores, they need more men’s M and fewer S and XXL.
Came into the store with some online purchases made during their 40% off everything sale. Needed a new fit in one of the shirts I bought and a difference size in the jeans I bought. The manager that day named Ray, helped me from start to finish! He was able to even exchange everything I had even though you would normally have to pay the difference from the sale price. What a genuinely great experience. Will definitely go back because of their care for the customer.
I was sceptical at first, but having purchased a few pieces of clothing from them now j can safely say that the clothing is good. During my purchase, the cashier I checked out with forgot to take the mag tags off my shirts which I did not see until I was already at home. Living an hour away, I called to see if there was any way I could remove this without coming back in. The manager was quite rude to me on the phone, repeatedly implying idiocy on my part when in reality their cashier was responsible for not correctly removing the tags. Good enough cloths and poor service results in the 3/5
15 years ago in New York this brand was frown upon so I never even bothered to shop there. That was my first time going to that store and they got that need attractions from casual to business attire and unique color patterns. I also got a 40% price off cause it's an outlet store there.
The man that helped my son and I was extremely helpful. He was very clear, calm and to the point. They had try on shirts in the dressing room that helped us find the proper fit and size for a dress shirt. We got 3 dress shirts for $79. I thought that was a great deal considering an individual shirt was about $59. I would suggest to go here for dress clothes. Nice ties as well!
The staff here are awesome! I've been here twice and both times were great. Really like the clothes too (got jackets, dresses, belts, jeans, and work blouses). Yes it's expensive, but you get what you pay for, and when there's a sale you can get great deals. Everything I've gotten from here has been durable and lasted for 2+ years as long as it's taken care of.

Good deals on all Express wear. I'm a big fan of their stuff so it was nice to find stuff for less than 50% of what it would have run in the normal store. It could have all been a bit better kept and neat but overall, you shouldn't necessarily expect that from an outlet store.
You just can't beat the prices here! My husband and I both got several things, probably around 8-9 shirts in all and our total was $85. Whaaat!? I'd pay that much for one pair of jeans at our local Express. So pleased! All the employees were eager to help and were very friendly.
Easily the best looking store in the mall. Innovative and very helpful staff. Love the husband seating area in the atrium!
