Love this place. Every year it gets better and better. Our church loves coming here!
Awesome place. I always look forward to our stay at Camp impact. God always shows up here. There are plenty of activities for family and groups to bond over. Every time I come here, the camp gets better and better.
We stayed here for another annual men’s ministry retreat and the campsite gets better and better every time! Great place for families, churches, or corporate teams!
Such a nice place. There was lots of things to keep our grandson entertained. It was very nice being so close to the state park! The separate pool for adults is the best idea ever! They were putting in a sprinkler system and it will be so nice for the green space! All the facilities were so clean and well kept. We will certainly visit again!
Stayed here many times but in December we were surprised to see something they call “light up Dinosaur Valley” the first weekend in December every year it transforms into a totally different place and is full of lights and decorations. It’s all for a benefit and is such a good time. Our friends and family came out to visit both days and the kids really loved it!

Perfect location and friendly staff. The increased price over last year and before is quite ridiculous. I am bringing my own house. How can the cost equal a hotel room? I probably used 15 gals of water and 1 kw of power for my overnight stay. Otherwise my stay didn’t cost you anything. Total profit. Doesn’t seem right. May impact whether we stay here in our east coast swings that we do 4-5 times a year.
We had one of our church retreats here! This place is AWESOME! I can’t wait to come back in February for the next one!

The owner is super nice, extremely accommodating, and has plenty of activities to have fun!
This is a great campsite run by a family. the location in the middle of the city is amazing. It's like its own carved out little piece of RV heaven. the sites are beautiful and convenient to the bus lines as well as the metro to DC. The service you get there with propane delivery firewood delivery food delivery is amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The amenities and the family atmosphere keep us coming back to this location. We love it.
I did not score Rooms as we stay in our RV. We love staying at Cherry Hill Park and have been coming for years. Due to the location, we often make this a stop to and from Florida in the winter. The park is well maintained with new upgrades added often. I find the number of trash/ recycling “stations” great. They are kept tidy and accessible.
We took all our volunteers out for a Fun Day. We had a wonderful time as everyone went out to swim and used the facilities at their own pace. We gathered for lunch and fellowship. The team greeted us on arrival, gave us basic safety instructions, then we exited and had a good afternoon as the kids enjoyed the Dinosaur dig, and the soccer field and pool area. Great place for a fun day and Very relaxing setting.

This is overall one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed. The park is clean, very well maintained and the sites are level. The staff is friendly and helpful. Traveling by public transportation to downtown DC from the park couldn't be easier. There is someone on site that can assist in planning your trip into DC. There is a Metro Bus stop on sight which takes to you the Metro Station where you can take the Green Line directly to the mall area. We will definitely return.

A beautiful and meticulously maintained campground resort with a myriad of amenities. Awesome bike trails nearby, rode all the way into DC. Great playgrounds for the little ones. Need to come back and spend more time. All of the people who work there were extremely nice too!

Easy to get into & the office staff was so helpful in advising us how to use the metro train/subway...which we drove to (4 miles) & it was great.
Sites were nice & we had plenty of room to stay hooked up if need be. ( 45 ft mh w/tow).
Guards at the gates were very friendly...even close to midnight! If back in the area we would definitely stay here again. Very convenient & we'll maintained grounds.
We had a great time here. Was a much needed vacation. We explored the river, pet the farm animals, went for a hay ride. Mark made our visit fun, and was really helpful. All the employees were nice, and accommodating. Cabin was super cute, clean, and cozy. Love the darkness that allowed us to see the stars so bright. We will be back next year when the tracks are visible again at the state park. Thank you!
Such a nice family getaway whether for a short weekend or for the entire week. I've been here several times over the years & always have a great time. Big comfy bed in private bedroom plus large fold out couches, spacious bathroom, full kitchen & dinning room area.

Very nice, clean, conveniently located campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. Clean facilities. Nice dog park. We were here at the "end" of season, so it was quiet, the site was level. We utilized the dog walking service and were very happy (as were our pets). It was not far from the metro station, so getting into DC was easy and convenient. The sightseeing "information" class was very helpful. It was also nice to be able to do the nighttime tour of the monuments directly from the park. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We would highly recommend this park to anyone planning a trip to Washington DC.

We rented one of the premium log cabins for 2 nights. It was so clean, all the linens were nice and the beds are very comfortable. They give you plenty of towels and extras for your stay. The kitchen's were nicely stocked with the basic things we would need for a couple days.
Very conveniently located near the College Park metro to get to DC. The park was very clean and easy to get around.

AMAZING RV park!!! Great pull through sites! They have tons of stuff for the kids k clouding a very nice pool, dirt pedal biking track, fort, park, petting zoo, large concrete pad for basketball or other sports like skateboarding or rollerblading, large field. Staff is super friendly and love putting on events!!! Definitely coming back, wish we had stayed longer! Also walking distance to Dinosaur world and the state park!!!
This was a beautiful time of year to ride! The trees are starting to change color and when the leaves would fall I felt just like a princess.... but one that drives a sxs and is covered in mud! (Disney! Where you at on this???) The trails were well maintained and I was very happy with the family friendly atmosphere. I've been to CAW for day trips but this was the first time staying in our RV. The astroterf "lawn" at each site is brilliant! It rained one night but mud directly outside the camper entrance was not an issue. The only mud I had to truly manage was on our children who still don't see why I care! I will for sure make this an annual event to kick off our pleasure riding season! The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. I will forever cherish the memories and experience we had! Thank you CAW!!!
First time visiting in 20+ years. Still a neat place. I didn't realize how few RV spots are available, fortunately there is a nice RV campground just outside the gates (Dinosaur Valley RV Park). What I'm finding a lot these days is that RV spots inside popular state parks are hard to come by, but there are often private parks a stones throw away. I buy an annual state park pass and use it for the free day access to the park when I can't get a spot where I want when I want.
What a dump
Lakeshore camp resort, portage, Indiana site 197
pull through <40ft fhu.
So we needed a spot so we could dump and get some fresh water. This placed looked reasonable at $47. I didn’t look close enough. Let’s start with the good- they had my reservation ready, site was level and bathhouse was ok. Where to start… 50 amp legs were at 130 and 129 so my inverter said no way. Opted for the 30 amp. Sewer had a lid that I had to get tools to remove. I assume it hadn’t been off in awhile. Site is probably 200ft from interstate 94 so it’s pretty noisy. There is a busy rail line on the other side of the “resort”. Looks like an old trailer park with many broke down or dilapidated rigs. They charged me for early check in when I arrived at 2:20pm see sign. The map they give you says 3pm. I’m sure in it’s hay day it was awesome. Would I stay again… No.
I'm hoping this review helps a potential first-timer, like my friends and I were a few days ago. I will begin with the cons and then go into the pros:

CONS
1. If you're renting vehicles like we did, note that when they say you get a "Full Day Rental" on the website, they don't actually mean full day. They mean until 4pm, so if you show up like we did around noon expecting to ride until close at 8pm, you're in for an extremely disappointing surprise. You also of course need to fill out a ton of paperwork beforehand (not unexpected), as well as watch a safety video, etc. All of that ate up so much of our time, so despite our intention to ride for eight hours that day, we only got to ride for three. Kind of was a waste of the near-$1000 we spent to ride there.
2. Be aware too that the rentals aren't good quality. They're beat up, worn out, and my ATV in particular sounded like it was going to explode whenever going too fast. Combined with the sound of constant raddles and whatnot that was going on around the engine, the entire time I was worried my ATV might break down and I'd be charged the repair fee.
3. When we went to Carolina Adventure World, there were several trails that we couldn't go on since they were being repaired and restored. This wasn't an issue, but the map that we were given was horrible. We got lost multiple times and the markers on the trails themselves were too few and too far between. I read many reviews about this place before going that warned of these two things: A horrible map and poorly marked trails. Believe it. It's true.
4. Don't buy the food from the restaurant. Bring your own. It's not that the food we had was bad, but rather it was just very poor quality for what you were paying for it.

PROS
1. You are going to have fun. Once you're on the trails, in the rocks, splashing through mud, or whatever, all your concerns will fade away. Going fast on the roads was great, dodging stones was awesome, and the experience was incredibly pleasing.
2. Even though we rode for three hours, we didn't even get to see half of this place, it felt like. Carolina Adventure World is HUGE in scale and you'll be exploring it for hours. I admit, we ended up doing a few trails more than once due to the poor map (as mentioned above), but that's okay.
3. We went on a weekday (Friday) and it was not crowded in the slightest. I genuinely think there were only six people there other than us. We only saw two while on the trails, so it was a really relaxing experience. I'm sure on the weekends though this place is crowded!
4. The location is very easy to find and get to, located right off the highway.

In conclusion, despite issues we all had a fantastic time. I just wish we could've stayed longer and didn't have to return the "Full Day" (lol) rentals half way through the day. You live and learn, I suppose. We will certainly be back soon!
Wonderful, but older rv camp. Gates at entrance, staff drives around through the overnight. Feels very secure. Garbage gets collected from your site. Very conveniently located close to Chicago. Pool and lake are pretty nice. Plenty to do on grounds. Staff takes good care of the grounds and they're very polite. Took the two dogs and we did lots of walking. The other visitors in the park are also very friendly.
Wonderful water park, very friendly staff. The line for the season pass was a bit long to get the first time, but the staff was working hard.
Good choice of rides, lots of options for everyone. Lines for the rides were about what I expected. Campus was clean, but I did not stay overnight so I can't speak to the cabins or camping areas.
Our family loved this park! We will be planning a trip again sooner than we were expecting. We rode our mountain bikes everywhere, including the state park next door. There was so much to do inside the RV park as well. The bathhouse was one of the nicest we have seen. There is no change exchanger in the laundry room just a heads up. Our kids loved the pool, petting zoo, roping dummy, the Fort, the teepee and the dirt bike track! We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
The campground is clean and beautiful right on the lake. We enjoyed our stay was originally 5 nights but stayed 7 and they were very accommodating! The shuttle service was certainly the way to go - very easy to be dropped off and picked up at many locations. Kayla was the best - (she wasn’t leaving us lost in the Opryland area.). She is a dedicated worker that’s for sure! Overall we would stay here again .
I'm from IN and came home to visit and my sister, Jerri Floyd has a mobile home on the grounds. My family and I very much enjoyed our stay for Labor Day weekend. We had a blast ‼️ I will be returning.
This RV park is put together really well with a lot of nice touches. The location right next to Dinosaur Valley State Park and across the street from Dinosaur World makes it ideal for a family destination. They provided a lot of activities for the kids and even had live music at night. We stayed there for Labor Day weekend and there was plenty to do to keep everyone busy. Two pools, a hot tub, petting zoo, large basketball area, etc. A Kona shaved ice truck even came through on a schedule. Sites were level and plenty large. My brother had his 45’ class A and Jeep in his sight with room to spare. Had my mother and older kids in two cabins and they loved them. Again, they are really well done and makes for a nice trip for a family with some that do not have RVs. Only thing that might be a negative for some was the lack of shade. Understandable being that it is a new park and the trees need time to develop, but just something to know. All the sites however are set up to where the afternoon sun will be on the backside of your RV and that helps. The staff was also great. We will make another trip there at a cooler time of year to do much more hiking than we got to do on this trip.

Fun little park to ride. We (wife and I) paid for two days to ride in our CanAm X3. $121 is on the pricey side. First day we ate at the restaurant; I would advise to either get pizza or bring your own food which we did for day 2.
Very expensive for 2 dirt bikes for the day.

Several trail sections flooded out. Took a turn going uphill and there was a fallen tree sticking out head height into the middle of the trail.

Garbage (mostly beer cans) everywhere.

I don't know what management spends the admission money on but it isn't trail maintenance.
Went labor day weekend and had a blast. The check in was quick compared to the crowd that had checking in. The park wasn't terribly dirty compared to all the riders they had. The managers Katie and Kaylee was super nice and helpful with any questions I had during my visit. Staff was nice and welcoming as well. Trails are in pretty good condition since all the rain we've had. Great place to visit!
We took 70 middle schoolers and 15 adults and we only regret not staying longer. Cabins are clean and well kept. Lots of activities for all ages. They made sure we felt at home, helped with all of our planning and last minute needs. Can't wait to go back.
We stayed in an RV site at the Campground. Some of the RV sites have a beautiful view of the lakeside. Campground is generally quiet, there is a water park next doors, but was not really noisy at all! They have live music on select days. Lots of fun things to do in Nashville and the campground runs a shuttle to the major attractions. We will definitely stay here again!
This place is always great fun! Lines not too long. It's not too spread out. About the right amount of attractions. Although have only gone twice this year due to distance, I'm still glad I bought season tickets on sale for fam of 4. This time was able to take 3 kids friends along for free admission. Def worth purchasing again! Love this place!
Absolutely hands down the best all around atv/utv park in s.carolina. it is massive! organized, great trails with all types of terrain, cabins, camping, security, wash stations and best of all at the end of the day free hot showers! Will definitely be back often. Please folks take your trash out with you and follow the simple rules so we can continue to have a great place to ride like this!
After staying here we understand why campground is no longer a Yogi Bear status level. It was very crowded and staff was unwelcoming. Many of the staff unpleasant bordering on rude. Office & beach staff were annoyed to be asked questions. Suggest wearing water shoes. Lots were very messy, we put gloves on to pick up trash before setting up. The biggest annoyance was park patrol yelling at our kids at 6/7pm for riding there bikes. Make sure you have headlights installed on bikes during daylight hours. Campground is surrounded by trailer parks, but does have very large fence with gated security guar for safety concerns.
Host unfriendly. Not worth what they want. Pads uneven. Sewage dump pipe sticks 18" above ground. Driveway steep and washed out. Generally trashy looking. Told me one price and when I got there they changed it by $100 more.
This place is awesome , I could never get enough of the flora and fauna that entices my soul.
Small water park, good for kids and families. The park includes, wave pool, a small lazy river, some water tube slides, and kiddie areas. Now as far as food options; the park has pizza, chicken tenders, chips, funnel cakes, dip n dots, cheese burgers and French fries. If you're looking for good food I'd say theirs is definitely not a good option. Food priced range in the 10 dollar range. Cleanliness of the park is just ok, it is definitely dated and there are areas that need to be attended to and cleaned or painted. Bring your own towels they do not provide any for their guests. Lockers are available for rental. Cabanas are limited and if you don't book one in advance you're out of luck. But there are a few shaded picnic tables at the entrance of the park. Other than that the entire park is open and out in the sun with limited shade. The beach area is small with a large lake water inflatable playground area. Overall we were a family of 5 and had a blast with two small children.
Our lake front site was perfect! The view was amazing! The early morning breeze coming through the RV windows was a welcoming feeling to open your eyes and take in the gorgeous view. The duck wildlife along with watching others jet skiing right from our site was entertaining. The staff was wonderful and security was very friendly and present! The sites are narrow with approximately 5ft of grass around concrete pad. Our site, 32, had a significant crumbling cracked corner so our RV could not be backed in all the way and keep the one Jack out of the crack. This caused a slight concern for parking precisely each day we moved our truck. When walking through the RV sites, you can tell they are slowly working on and fixing the RV site pads with new concrete. We went jet skiing and found the staff to be very safe and patient in teaching new riders. Highly recommend making a reservation. There is a private RV beach, however it would be nice to have access to a pool after the waterpark closes. We happened to be here during several days of a heat advisory for the region and an early evening swim in a pool would have been refreshing. The camper discounts on admission is nice to all the attractions. We are highly considering making this an annual summer spot!
This place was…..interesting. We only picked this location for its closeness to Indiana Dunes National Park.

First of all, the community is gated and they have someone at the gate monitoring who enters. They are very strict with the 5.5 speed limit…which I understand but why the half!?!?

Most of the park (I’d say 80%) appeared to be permanent spots. Not all, but a lot of the trailers were decrepit and incapable of moving anywhere.

The roads were narrow, and in poor condition. The site was pull through which was great, however it was very small. There is also a lot of noise from both the highway and the live band that played until at least 10pm.

Expect to see golf carts everywhere!

There were a lot of amenities however we were just passing through and didn’t take advantage of any of them.

There is also a $20 resort fee ON TOP of the nightly rate (which was like $60)

Overall it was a fine experience, but I hated the vibe.
I usually don't pay attention to critical reviews, but please do. First of all, look closely at google maps to review this is a type of area that appeals to you. I did not and it is literally on the highway and train tracks. The traffic noise was so loud we did not go outside. This campground is probably over 90% permanent trailers. Most are dilapidated. It is very densely packed and would not recommend taking a Class A though like we did. The area leading up to the grounds is an old trailer park and industrial area nearby. This is the view is from site 299 and around the park.
Amazing day, I have been whitewater rafting many times and this is up there on the top! Rapids were challenging yet I felt safe. Our guide Steve was amazing
We didn't stay on property so can't rate the property. But 5 stars on the water park and staff!! We had a blast. We had three generations here. And all age groups had an awesome time. Staff is very friendly. And make your visit fun and memorable. They have several slides to choose from. Both raft and body slides. The lazy river is long and fun. Wave pool has a giant video screen that entertains you in-between waves with music videos n more. We cannot comment enough on how friendly the staff are. Wherever you go they are engaging.
The cabin was in need of maintenance and cleaning. The white water rafting experience was absolutely amazing! Hayden was our guide and we were so lucky to have him. He was very experienced and knowledgeable. He was patient with me though I was apprehensive. Our family had so much fun!!! The river was absolutely gorgeous!
The largest fantastic excellent food and we stayed down below by the river . We had a framed tent. Shouldn't expect too much in a situation like that but the cots were comfortable we provided our own sleeping bags and pillows there was a light and a fire pit out in front along with a picnic bench. Absolutely fantastic time with family. The money that you spend for the videos is not something that I would recommend. We spent approximately $60 for the videos which totaled less than 30 seconds of combined footage of our run. No b-roll or anything else of that nature with regards to the campsites and or large interaction with guests. The cameraman were excellent very courteous but I think the photos are overpriced for what you're getting.
Absolutely amazing experience, staff, equipment and restaurant. I can honestly say that when I showed up I was nervous about the trip. I had never been white water rafting and after watching every horror trip video on YouTube my anxiety was through the roof. The staff use homegrown comedy and banter to ease the stressful situation and made me feel instantly comfortable as if I was rafting with friends. When it was time to be serious the staff were professional, highly experienced and knowledgeable. No questions went unanswered and the patience of the guides is unmatched. This was an amazing trip and I can’t wait to go again with the family.
My husband and I took 4 kids (two 9-yr and two 11-yr) to join the half day white water rafting in late June 2023. North Country Rivers was very thoughtful by assigning two guides, Hayden and Cody, to our raft, while the other rafts each had only one guide. The water level was high due to the rain over weeks and the recent release from dam. We all had a fabulous time without any accident. Hayden was very experienced, calm, and cautious to guide us through some rough rapids. Kids had a blast nonstop laughing. Hayden even brought some gummy bears in a secret container to cheer up a teary brother from a sibling conflict. The end of the day buffet at the lodge hit right to the spot. Each of us went back for the second serving. We all would love to come back - next time will be a full day trip :)
We had a whitewater rafting trip scheduled and noticed bad weather moving in. When I called and asked about rescheduling or a refund due to weather I was told no to both. The man said the trips will still go out. That they provide all the gear: wetsuit, paddles, raft, and helmet. Not wanting to take the chance putting our family in danger, we decided not to go. I don't feel like the "gear" would have saved us in a storm. It's very unreasonable not to compensate us some how due to weather, instead you would rather lose a customer.
Awesome experience with good people. I will definitely be back. Our guide JJ was experienced, knowledgeable, and extremely easy to work with.. The river was terrifying and amazing.. We had an absolute blast...
Was coming up from FL on the way back to VA when we decided to stop by. This place did not disappoint! Best described as a cross between Hatfield McCoy Trails, Outlaw trails and the best parts of Busco Beach. Everything from rock trails to mud holes and creeks. Cabins are nice as well. Definitely coming back!
North Country Rivers hosted our senior trip for the class of 2023 and is one of the nicest, most accommodating businesses I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them in the future!

The memories will definitely last a lifetime!
What a FUN place! Cabins are adorable. It's a great place to bring your womens/mens group, youth group... Family reunion! In the middle of no where, it's a nice get a way!
This park has an excellent location, close to the lake. Easy access in and out of the sites. Clean and well maintained. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay for the weekend or even longer!
We had an absolute blast. We parked the Jeeps for a change and gave something else a go and absolutely loved it. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. Definitely plan to return.
Our youth group of (22 people total) had an amazing experience out here! Can't wait to see when all the projects are finally completed!
This RV park is top notch. Has two swimming pools, an off leash dog park, basketball courts, bike trail, a wooden fort for the kids to play in, playgrounds, picnic tables, showers and laundry facilities.

The office/gift shop has everything you would need if you forgot anything for your camping trip. They thought of everything!

There is an entrance to the Dinosaur Valley State Park (There is an entrance fee for the State Park you can purchase tickets on line tpwd.texas.gov or use the QR code located at the trailhead). You can also access the river from the RV park.

Movies in the park and live music on Saturday nights. Hay rides for the kids. Daily family activities are posted at the office. Great family fun!

The owners take pride at it shows, this RV park is one of the cleanest I have had the pleasure of visiting.

Park Rules - Dogs must be on leash and please pick up after your pet.

My Only advise---- Make sure you wear shoes, as there are a lot of stickers in the grass. My pup got a few stickers in his paws.

I will definitely be back! I highly recommend.
Very spacious and well maintained cabin for a weekend gateway. Near to the city area but still far enough to be silent and calm. Has fireplace, amazing game room, entertainment features including Foosball, TT, board games etc. With bathroom in every room it gets very convenient. Well furnished kitchen with all the necessary utensils. The network is a bit off here though, so need to completely rely on WiFi to be connected to outer world. In all an amazing experience to enjoy the holidays with the nice Christmas tree setup as well for the vacations.
