Beautiful Church!
This church chooses to be political an have aligned themselves with politicians that are completely opposed to the teachings of Christ. This is not a place that is welcoming to immigrants or women. Shameful.
We visited this church recently and absolutely loved it. It was such a breath of fresh air to go to church in such an open, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere. This is not the typical ultra conservative environment we are accustomed to and are considering making this our church when we return from vacation. It is worth the drive from Prince William County to Arlington.

My wife and I have been a member of this parish since 1996. It is an extremely warm, welcoming, loving and supportive community, with 7 masses per weekend and lots of ministries to put your faith into action. A great parish to establish or grow your personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Good homeless outreach meal served every weekday. The last time I was there they had a bunch of take home food from the good people of Amazon!
I’ve visited many churches throughout my life but this little church has my heart. What a compassionate and grace-filled community. It’s taken me a long time to find a catholic church that truly believes and acts in accordance with social justice, and you see that here in spades. I leave every mass with peace and contentment in my soul. Father Tim is an incredible leader and Deacon Tony is an absolutely wonderful and thoughtful spiritual guide. We couldn’t be happier to have found a place where we belong.
My mom passed away in December and I needed a place for her mass. Vincent and Michael were very friendly through the entire process. My family attended the service it was very discreet and respectful. Especially after the loss of my mother. It was not easy at all. The songs were sung beautifully. And I was very pleased with the service.
Bad sermons and messages contained in them. For example saying you cannot have the best love in your life without a child. What about barren couples, are they not welcomed in your church?
Also, not acting in the way of God when a parishioner is 13 miles away ( a 22 min. Car drive) is not given communion when bed ridden and near death.

Reverend Jan is a wonderful, kind priest who gives of his time generously. For example, although there is regularly scheduled Confession (Reconciliation) Saturday nights, he has never refused a request to hear Confession after morning Mass with a moments notice, and always with a smile on his face. He is also not afraid to teach the truths of the Catholic church. We could use more priests like him.
A good place to worship in Christian fellowship. The Parish leaders and parishioners are warm and welcoming to visitors.
This is our Heavenly Fathers Home and all the people Real Home come here to have the Priest and the Lord forgive your sins every Sunday morning there Mass I done my Religion and Instructions when I was very young here I became a Saint grateful and thankful Priest home near this church they have Charity's all churches are gorgeous and clean and you csn feel safe happy gives you so much love you van feel ot after you leave this church a huge change in your life when you do reconciliation for giving your sins you feel a lot more better it's off your chest and in the hands of the lord i gof chills Scared Heart Church is a Blessing trust me I dont even want to leave this church you.csn call they have music here above you feel so respected love and listen and learn I wish churches would be like in the days open 24 /7 there is so much evil walking amongst us now the are closed and locked because people steal from churches now it breaks my heart but when coming to church so much love and support friends families go here this church save dmy life and got be sober and clean 13 yrs. Been going to this church for 15 years! I love how father Tim and father Martin do their sermons and they’re the reason I stay going to this church. Very welcoming of all people despite color, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. ❤️

Our friends had their wedding at the church as well as the reception. It was a beautiful ceremony. The reception hall was updated, clean and very spacious! It was a great wedding!
This was my home church growing up and I love the center altar design. Church in the round.
Unfortunately here for a funeral but beautiful nonetheless.

I have been attending this church since I was born.
A warm and friendly parish. We have been here twice while visiting the area. The priest we had was welcoming and personable. He had a wonderful and pragmatic message during his homily. In addition his presentation style was pragmatic and not too preaching....which was greatly appreciated.

Beautiful church. My grandson was being baptized by Father Mike. It was a private and personal ceremony, and Father Mike was wonderful.

Beautiful church, tucked away in Guilderland. As you can see from the pictures, the garden is immaculately maintained. Inside, the sanctuary has amazing architecture - I never get tired of looking at it! We often stop by for a few minutes of silent prayer/reflection and to light a candle. Just a wonderful place ❤️

Short all male mass ok.
Great Parrish with a great following. Very welcoming community. The chorus is getting a little old but over all one of the Top 3 churches in the area. If not the top one.

Most of the people live in Leisure World and I do not so it is a little hard to feel part of Our Lady of Grace community. They offer several ministries that one can sign up to serve, which i am doing.
Fr Jim Boccabella is the very busy pastor and he is wonderful.

I went to a funeral and was touched by the beautiful church the music the pastor the helpers I felt peaceful there a most wonderful experience
Awesome church. My family has been coming here since before I was born.
I wanted to buy some clothes for the cold winter. I went there and in the clothes department, I asked for the price of the piece. The lady told me it was only one dollar. I took 7 shirts. I went to pay for them, but they wanted me to pay 14 dollars. Why did I ask before I extended my hand? I was very embarrassed because I do not have anything with me 10 dollars and I want to pay the bus fare, so I told the lady I can pay 10 and she will come back to the residence walking. She strongly refused and said if you need them, pay 14 dollars. I left them 😥😥
and I am sad and upset. But Jesus did not leave me. 🙏I found a flea market and gave me clothes for free. Thank you my Jesus. 🙏🙏🙏

I was invited to a Baptism and the service was beautifully bilingually translated by the pastor, who thoroughly spoke Spanish and English. It was a very memorable and meaningful experience 🥰😇✝️
Love the thrift store! They have a lot of clothes, homeware and little nicknacks you need. You select what you want to buy and bring it to the staff at the cashiers. They’ll tell you the final price. Often items are not more than a couple of dollars. God bless them for their service.

We got married at St. Johns April of 2021 and we’re so happy we chose this church for our special day. Father Richard is very personable and really guided us during the whole process. Mrs. Crocco did an amazing job on the music. St. Johns is so so beautiful and one of the more historic churches in the area. We would absolutely recommend for any couple looking at Catholic Churches to get married.
The Pastor, Father Michael is wonderful. You will Love being a Member of this church.

A really great place with great bargains, you can find so many treasures. Ive been going there for about 10 years now and its my therapy...if you can avoid some of the rude hovering old ladies that can take from the joy of the experience.
Fantastic church, one big family - no better way to describe it! Father Bogie is great and they have a separate session for children during Sunday service, so parents can attend adult service while kids can attend a service appropriate to their age. The CCD program is top-notch and the most affordable in the area as well!

I grew up in this Church and left the Catholic faith to become non-denominational due to the corrupt ways of Father Hart in the early 70’s. His witness for the faith was horrible. I hope the years have changed the culture here.

St Jude has been my parish for many years. It is a special place for myself. Yesterday, Christmas eve , I attended mass at 4pm with my husband. It was marked as the children's mass. Honestly, I was rather disappointed in the sermon Father Mike was giving. The sermon as usually was not directed toward the children as it was customary to have them come to the altar in the past years.
Perhaps the time was restricted as another mass was scheduled at 6pm.

It is a nice, peacefully place. Very good people attends church.
BSC is an old style, wide aisle down the middle, leading to a substantial alter. The church is populated by seasoned priests who know their scripture and deliver their message as if you were the only one in the church. No uncomfortable pauses, no controversy just God's word as they understand it. I walked out of the church refreshed. Nice nice nice.

Great older church in Beacon. The masses we’ve been to have always been good. This is not our home church, but the community seems very nice, and welcoming.
Let us all PRAY please for Father O'Connor. I've known him since I was 16 years old. He is a blessing in disguise. He is awesome and cool, and above all cares about everyone. I've known father because he performed masses at St. Patrick's Church in 1986. He is an inspiration to everyone, to not give up in life, to keep on following God's path. I am truly blessed to have him in my life. God, has him here for a reason, to help people in the community. May God Bless you Father O'CONNOR always. Thanks for always being here for me, kiddo!

This has been my second home for 18 years. Have made friends that I consider family. Great Pastors and priests who have been a blessing to our family. Can't imagine my life without the love and support I receive at St. R's. A very active and full of holy energy community.

I just started going here because I want my toddler to experience religion and be baptized. He's 16 months. Everyone was friendly. The church gave out the nails from the cross to everyone- I've never seen that before. It was nice. I especially liked that before they gave out communion, they walked to the seats of any handicap/disabled individuals and gave it to them at their seats. That stuck with me. I will be attending this church weekly with my family and hope to have my son baptized here soon.
My only criticism is that the Sunday Mass time should be made prominent on the home page of the web site. This is an area with a lot of tourist trade and people who are visiting will not know.
As a wedding planner, I loved working at this church! It's beautiful and the church coordinator was very helpful. They allowed us to setup ceremony flowers and also were very helpful in giving extra details on what to expect at the rehearsal. We'd love to return here for a wedding soon!

Warm and comforting atmosphere, wonderful priest, beautiful church. We feel blessed to have found St. Monica's when we moved. Father Jon is new to the parish, just like we are. He is great!

This is a very welcoming community where you can celebrate your faith. And you can also explore if joining the Catholic Church is for you. St. Raphael parish has ongoing meetings for people trying to learn more about God, Faith and the Church.
This is lovely suburban parish with LOTS going on and a small school. Good preaching and very active, lots of devotions. The building is very 70s but has been renovated and spruced up to look more elegant, nice confessionals; masses offered in English and Spanish. Lots of youth and families. The Spanish community is strong. Please note the google photo above is wrong it is showing St. Raphael parish in Hawaii (Kauai) not the one in Maryland.
I love our parish. It is warm and welcoming. Many ministries for anyone who would like to be involved. Lots of get together to become acquainted with others and our pastor who gives s great sermon.
