Unprofessional cold calls - I got a cold call today from this company (on my work phone as well which I hardly give out). I respectfully stated that I was not interested in their service. The gentlemen on the call was very disrespectful, and kept trying to dig for my information. In addition to stating that I am not taking my finances seriously unless I work through them, which is also insulting since he knows absolutely nothing about me. If this is how they treat someone they are trying to get business from, I wouldn't want to know how they treat their current clients.

0 stars if I could. Blatant disregard for DNC requests and they still refuse to stop calling me. The LAW states that if a consumer tells you to stop calling you HAVE TO ABIDE.

This disgusting excuse for a company does not care. They will continue calling you and calling you for years on end even when you tell them to stop. And what do they say when you get angry and tell them to stop?

Care Oregon came thru on my prescriptions an the OTC card. BUT they offer a $50.00 credit / bonus if I have a virtual visit by phone. I completed the visit but NEVER GOT THE CREDIT. I called several times an now I have been taken off the care Oregon plan because I don't have state coverage..wow..

For me care Oregon has been a lifesaver. They are a wonderful group of people compassion, caring, which I know means basically the same thing but they’ve always been there for me and I will continue to have them as my carrier there. It’s an amazing medical insurance organization, and everyone that works there has been over-the-top, helpful, polite, and treat you like you’re the best friend so if you’re looking for a good good insurance company, check out Care, Oregon.

Calling☎️every government agency and non profit🚫📈 in Multnomah County🏢 requesting support more than once. Telling us there were no shelters🏫, not even for DV. Care Oregon 🩺stepped up to the plate without hesitancy. Sure it took me sometime researching🔎💡📔📑 to find the golden ticket 🎟 ✨️, but my Endocrinologist⚕️👩‍⚕️ at Providence and her team🦹‍♂️🦸🦸‍♀️ assisted me making sure my daughter and I🫂 were safe. 🛌🛋. They said I have appointment at 11am. No one ever talked to me. So I called the number they gave me. They said Ruth Saunders is running late an hr and I should Callback if she never talks to me by than. I don’t understand why didn’t she call me she’s running late? She called me an hr and 10 later. She was professional and friendly. I took off three stars for being late.

I just had the most horrific experience speaking to one of the female brokers on the phone as a preliminary consultation. I was looking for some guidance to insure a piece of jewerly, and the lady on the phone was so incrediby rude and disrespectful - calling me "sweetie" and yelling at me to read up on Google rather than waste her time. I am shocked and would never recommend doing business with this brokerage....what an awful and sad way to treat clients. Shame on you!

I have been working with Gail Chin, for the last Four months Three in 2021, One for 2022.

I gave Gail a huge task to sign me up for commercial Insurance for my soon to be active Passenger Transportation Business. I was looking at setting myself up for pickups at PDX using a luxury sedan I had purchased in 2019. I searched for a commercial agent with other companies I had no luck. I knew that JMI Limousine Service operates at PDX and in Multnomah County. Also was referred to JMI Insurance by City Of Portland. I found Gail to be very helpful and she went out of her way to get me the Insurance I needed for the Passenger For Hire Transport Service. Many emails and phone calls, but finally Gail was able to get me the best rate and two Insurance policies I needed.

Gail is the best!!! Great service I got from Gail she will be my agent for all Commercial Business I have. Going to bring over my Air Freight Delivery Business to her April 2022.

I had care with my chiropractor for over 2 years through Care Oregon and suddenly they decided they wouldn’t cover my visits with her. I am 6 months pregnant, in the middle of a pandemic, and need chiropractor care in order to be able to move around every day. I had an extremely traumatic experience with a previous chiropractor and was very comfortable with my current one. I told all of this to Care Oregon and they still denied care with her. They do not care about the mental health or physical well-being of their customers.

They spent 4 months avoiding us after they canceled one our claims. The guy they sent from furniture solutions told us to stuff our own couch with feathers. Mind you we spent 500 dollars for insurance on our couch. Than they very rudely said our couch wasnt covered. 1 cushion would be covered not all 3 like they said. This company is nothing but a scam. If i saw their name attached to any business I was doing. I would walk out right that moment maybe even run.

This is definitely NOT real insurance and will do nothing if you have a series illness. They auto dial you from list you may have intentionally or unintentionally filled out or were inquiring about insurance. These or some sort of off-shoot discount plans that will do ABSOLUTELLY NOTHING if you get really sick. They pushed this United Healthcare plan which I researched was not underwitten by United Healthcare would pay for my doctor visits up to 6 per year paying $100 per visit. Okay, here's the deal - since this whacked out plan won't payout if you get really sick like a millions dollars if you get cancer for example, you are essentially paying 2k or more annually for a few doctor visits. They have these very odd urgent care/er plans. Is all I have to say is do your research. These will not help you if you have a bigboy problem. These are the children's mini-bandaid somewhat insurance type programs, Great if you cut your finger. GET ON a real insurance plan. If you can't afford it you may be better off not getting on any insurance plan until you do. If you can go to the market place Healthcare.gov and see if you qualify if not see if you can find real short-term plan that can carry you for a few months until you do. Even these plans are week. Do your homework or you will just be wasting your money on bottom of the barrel sort of insurance. Get your kids real insurance. Buyer beware. This is a call center selling in my opinion junk insurance. Weigh the yearly cost with what you may pay cash per visit. Hope and pray you can somehow get on with a real insurance company. If not, sadly you are better off quitting your job and getting state insurance simply because these plans will not cover but a teeny bit if you get something bad. That is my 2 cents. Do your homework on the plans they try and push.

I have used JMI for years and never written a review. My bad, as they've always been there for us, no matter how immediate or complex our need. I will NEVER use another agency. They are absolutely the BEST!!! I've worked with many good companies in the past. These guys will do what it takes to support you, make the situation right, be there for you in good times and bad. To most agencies, you're a number. These guys are 100% there for you!

Company buys leads and calls them continuously regardless of request to not call further. We have received 7 calls from them and requested to be removed. Got hung up when I requested, called back twice and was subsequently hung up on. As a business owner, looking for dental insurance for my family and company basic internal systems to handl lead databases and do not call lists should be a basic function.. I can only imagine how good their other systems and processes aren't... When I called them to let them know of the issue I was hung up on.

I love JMI because when I call a real person answers the phone and not some automated phone system that tells me to "Press #1" a thousand times! We needed to update our business insurance policy and when we called JMI they took care of in less time then I usually wait on hold with the other guys. That's what I call real customer service. It's funny how much better everything is when the person on the other line actually cares about helping you!

Working with Don to find the optimal health plan available was a true pleasure and help. He easily guided me through the information and highlighted areas that I expressed concern or interest in until the best selection was made. We did this over tea in the comfort of my home, and to boot he made a most pleasant guest!

A friend recommended Don to us as we were sorting through options for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. According to the Cover Oregon website (yes, it did work up to a point), we had more than 80 plan options, and it was overwhelming. With Don's help, we got it narrowed down pretty quickly and selected a plan with excellent coverage that we could afford. Don came to our house and answered our questions in clear language. When we were not able to apply online via the state exchange, Don collected our paper application and submitted it so that there was no delay in getting coverage. Since then, he has stayed in touch, keeping us informed of updates to the law. We so appreciate his help, and will call on him when it is time to make our health insurance plan for the coming year. Don is amazing at helping people find better health insurance, save money, and navigate the confusing world of health insurance. He helped me find a plan that increased my coverage from my old policy, while keeping the same premium, with a carrier that works with many of the alternative/naturopath health care providers in Portland. He's really easy to work with-he communicates well, promptly, and has a thorough grasp on all the health insurance ins and outs. He also sticks with his clients-he's just a phone call away if you have questions or problems. Couldn't imagine having a better agent.

When the ObamaCares deadline approached, I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to go from my low-end insurance, where I wound up paying for almost everything out-of-pocket despite my monthly premiums. Don helped me pour through all my choices, finding the best one to suit my family's health care preferences, like massage, chiropractic, and naturopathy. We found a great plan with Moda that was more expensive monthly than my previous plan, BUT it pays for itself with things like actual preventative doctor's appointments and inexpensive prescriptions. Don did a great job at untangling all the confusing options and helping me choose a health care plan I actually like! I'll be honest, I don't tend to like insurance agents, but Don is one of those people who puts you at ease the second you meet him. He genuinely cares about his clients and will go above and beyond the call of duty for you, offering you the health insurance you actually need. So many times I have met with agents who have simply tried to get me locked into the most expensive package, but I have never experienced that with Don. He listens to you first, and will only recommend the very best in terms of coverage for you.

I would not hesitate one second to refer anyone to Don. Know that if you have Don as your personal insurance agent, you're pretty darn lucky!

JMI Insurance and JMI Limousine are awesome! Everyone at JMI is very helpful and I really like using companies that are locally owned and operated. Having a person answer the phone when I call instead of a machine makes a big difference to me. Waiting on hold and jumping through tons of automated hoops just to get a simple question answered is never fun. No one likes an insurance company that makes you go through 5 minutes of "press 2" and "enter your account number" every time I call so that's why I use JMI.
