The information I was given helped me understand my discomfort. The Dentist and the other staff were pleasant and helpful. Jp introduced himself which was very nice.
I should have read all the other reviews saying how awful this place was - it is truly terrible and I was almost taken advantage of by them. I was told by the X-ray technician I needed crowns, which should have been a red flag (this was within seconds and without an actual dentist around). They rushed the whole thing - like others have said in their reviews - and did not explain the process to me but quickly got me to pay almost $2k (I will get a refund don’t worry). I then didn’t hear from them for almost 2 weeks though I called every day and emailed a ton. That actually ended up being in my favor bc it made me realize I wanted to cancel with them for being so unprofessional. They were really rude too, in addition to being not responsive. I ended up getting two second opinions for two other dentists and both said there was NO NEED for any crowns at all. In other words, these guys were straight up just trying to cheat me. It’s insane. Not only would they have taken my money, they also would have negatively impacted my dental health. I wish there was a place to report this kind of behavior so it could be investigated.

I followed Dr. Taneja here from another practice because he has always provided great care, and I am so happy with the experience at Washington Center for Dentistry. Dr. Taneja is incredibly friendly, professional, and great at diagnosing and treating issues with my teeth (I unfortunately grind them which has resulted in painful cracks and other issues more than once). I also have loved every dental assistant with whom I have interacted. All of my cleanings and procedures have been done quickly, gently, and efficiently. I've never had to wait past my appointment time and am always taken back right away. The administrative staff is also great -- super friendly on the phone and I am always able to get an appointment quickly when I have a problem.
After my dentist of 20+ yrs retired from this practice, I became a patient of Dr Tenaja on the advice of my dental hygienist. Unfortunately I had to have a tooth pulled and Dr Tenaja could not have been more compassionate to this dentist-phobic patient. He explained everything, reassured me and answered all my questions. This not-so-pleasant procedure went very smoothly because of Dr Tenaja’s expertise and gentle touch. I never thought I could trust another dentist after mine retired, but Dr T has my trust, confidence and gratitude. If you’re looking for a compassionate, expert and understanding dentist, I can’t recommend Dr Tenaja highly enough.

Just found out they jacked up all 3 of my root canals. Heard this from 2 different doctors one lady said the repair work will be extensive. I tried calling them yesterday to schedule an appointment for the pain. Lady on the phone was rude and short. Didn't ask my name to see if I was a previous patient just asked if I had insurance then said the don't have availability and are close on Friday. Dr Ebb was referred byt kin so this pisses me off to no end smd.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Blossom Dentistry, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Leo and immediately felt that the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Leo’s exceptional customer service skills truly stood out during my visit, as well as prior. I called the office to make my appointment as well as ask several questions about the procedure I wanted. He was very informative about the procedure and it explained it thoroughly. During the visit, Dr. Sahrai took the time to listen to all of my requests and questions and exceeded my expectations after the work was done. The entire staff exhibited a high level of professionalism and expertise, making my dental appointment amazing. The clean and modern facilities added to the overall positive impression as well. I highly commend Blossom Dentistry for their commitment to excellent patient care.

I love district dental! Whenever I go everyone is so kind. They remember me and ask questions about my life. They take great care of my teeth and make sure I understand what is going. I love that they walk me through my x-rays.
I don't live in DC anymore, but I was glad to find this dentist. They set the bar really high. I was extremely impressed with the quality of their work and their attention to detail. I also found them to be very trustworthy and they didn't try to recommend any treatments that weren't necessary (which was unfortunately not the case with other DC dentists). If you're in the area, you won't regret going here.
I've only had great experiences at Blossom! I started out only coming for TMJ botox (if you need this service, do it with them!!), but once I switched to a new dental insurance I knew I wanted to stay as a dental patient as well! Very professional staff, gorgeous office, and all the practitioners I've seen at the office have been stellar. I recommend Blossom Dentistry wholeheartedly ☺️

The team at Smile Beautiful Dental are always caring, gentle and professional. From the front office to the drill team! 🤣When I relocated to DC in 2006, I needed a new dentist. My new neighbors recommended Dr. Daniel Jones and most had grown up with his father as their dentist. My dental hygienist Emily is amazing and such a supportive professional. Their next generation is moving up with the same care, empathy, and painless practices!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾 It's good to still have true "family dentistry" as a choice.
Teeth cleaned and they do it well. I know what I need to do but sometimes choose not to do it. As long as my gum lines stay between a 1 and a 2 I am fine. If they increase it’s my fault because I know better but choose not to do better. I appreciate the team meets me where I am. When we know and do our part this dynamic team does theirs.

Dr. Dan Jones was wonderful. He explained everything in detail and was very thorough. The dental hygienist was very nice and my teeth feel great after the cleaning.
Dr Robinson is hands down the best dentist I've been to. I'm only in the area intermittently now but see her whenever I can, despite no longer being local. She's kind, compassionate, understanding, and incredibly smart and thorough when it comes to dental health. I really appreciate that she's not in the business to sell anything but is here because she cares deeply about her patients and about improving not only their dental health but their overall health through the lens of dental work. I've been seeing her for a decade and hope to see her for many decades more!
From the time I walked into Dr. Woo’s office, I felt at ease. I’ve never been a fan of seeing the dentist (who is?!?), but my visit was so smooth and flew by. I needed 2 fillings and Dr. Woo made me feel so comfortable the entire time. The process was efficient, pain free and the quality of work was superb. Dr. Cheng is absolutely amazing! She’s so informative and caring about my dental experience. I’ve been to Dr. Cheng a few times (cleaning and two dental cavities) and each time she has been very patient with me in explaining my care plan and the reasons behind the underlying issues. I’ve had terrible experiences in the past with other doctors and avoided going to the dentist due to that. I’m so thankful to have a doctor who cares and takes the time to work with me to prioritize my care. Can’t wait to go back next month to take advantage of their Invisalign promotion!

I have been a patient here since 2018 and this dental practice is STILL the best I have ever been to. I have just moved away from the DC area and I will miss them terribly. I cannot say enough good things about everyone here but especially Dr. Schobel and Casey. This is the cleanest, friendliest, most organized and efficiently run dentist I have ever been to. I lived in DC for almost 10 years and this is the 3rd Dentist I have been to in that time. The previous two places were unreliable, inefficient and incompetent, so you can imagine how THRILLED I was to find this office!
I have seen Dr. Schobel for exams and cleanings and follow up corrective filling work (not previously fixed by other offices), as well as Dr. Gialanella for a check-in hello during my last cleaning. They have both been fantastic! The offices are well located and very modern and clean. They even have tvs you can watch during procedures, which really helped take my mind off the cavity work. I also really appreciated the time Dr. S took always takes to walk me through his recommendations for a procedure, and then allowed me to make an informed decision on my own. No pressure, only support. I have never found this in another office.
While all this is great, I also want to be sure to give a special shout out to their dental hygienist Casey and their front desk staff. I have NEVER found a medical office with a staff front to back of house, that was more pleasant and efficient. Medical front desks and billing departments are often the reasons patients leave good doctors, so I usually don't anticipate good experiences here. They are all fantastic at dealing with patients! They even helped me get my dental records from my previous place when I transitioned here, who was being particularly difficult. I cannot recommend this practice enough. Every person here has been wonderful.

Have been coming to this multigenerational family practice for over 25 years. Jeremy (and his dad John before him) are knowledgeable, careful and thorough, as are their exceptional hygienists and professional and courteous staff.

Unfortunately the pain medication didn't work and the first three days after surgery was miserable. Now my diet consists of food I don't or won't eat and I'm pondering how long a person can go without food. Unfortunately I have to go through this again next Friday. On the other side it feels good to have those infected teeth removed just wish I could eat something looks like it'll take about a month to eat anything.

The all on 4 is worth the time and pain to get them. With a very satisfying look and function. I recommend Dr.Wilcox for his professionalism and chair side manner.
This is the worst dentist ever. Very unprofessional. I had dental work done my insurance paid half I paid the other half. Was done wrong a rush job. Once they received my money, they no longer needed my service. when I complain about how bad that the dentures were filling. They refused to adjust the dentures instead they stated we are just going to give you a refund. I threw the dentures in the trash. I do not recommend anyone going to this dental. Also have not received my refund. Not to mention, I took off three days from work to get this service done. I will be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau for help!
This review is by Mark Lerner, Michele's husband. Please be careful regarding Watergate Dental. Something has changed. For years, the office tried to minimize expenses to the patient. My last visit as part of a cleaning I was charged for a cancer screening and fluoride treatment without being asked if I wanted these services. When I brought up these charges I did not receive a response. I feel ripped off and will not return to this office.
Honestly the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I love Dr. G and Dr. Schobel. All the hygienists are also amazing. I used to hate the dentist but these folks have changed my outlook. My oral health has never been better.
I am amazed with this dental office. My recent dental procedure was the easiest I’ve ever experienced. Dr. Fordjour and Teresa explained the procedure to me so that there were no surprises, and both had a wonderful bedside manner that put me at ease.
I have been continually impressed by the people here and the expanding technology they use. During my first visit, it felt like being in the future in contrast to the previous dental office I’ve gone to. Routine cleanings are much more comfortable here as well. They have eliminated my anxiety towards dentists.

The office people were polite, welcoming, and helpful. My former dentist had ignored my request to forward my dental records. District Dental called them and was able to get my X-rays forwarded. The examination was thorough, informative, and not rushed. Dr. G even cleaned my teeth as the hygienist was not there. Probably the most complete teeth cleaning and advice I ever had. Excellent experience from start to finish!

I cannot say enough kind things about Tiffany, Emily, Dr. JJ, and the front desk staff. My partner and I came to this dentist because my dental insurance changed and I am so glad that we did. They took careful time and attention to take a wide-range of photos, x-rays, and walk me through the health of my entire mouth. I have never experienced this level of quality in a dental visit before and I've visited the dentist regularly for as long as I can remember.

I had my four front teeth crowned at JP Dental back in 2021 when they still did general dentistry and it was nothing less than traumatic. First, Dr. Brandon Wilcox didn’t have the anxiety medication he told me he would have on the day of the procedure, so I went without. Worse, he botched the crowns and my gums never healed - just in a constant state of inflammation and redness. I met with him to to try to resolve the issue and he seems incredibly annoyed and talked over me without solving the issue. Finally, I went to an outside periodontist who told me that even a first year dental student could have done a better job - a biological width infringement - meaning I would need surgery and new crowns. I contacted JP Dental to see if I could at least get a reimbursement for the work they did. The receptionist was incredibly rude and hung up on me after telling me there was nothing they could do but that she’d relay my message and number to Dr. Wilcox. He never returned my call. Please save your money and your sanity and go somewhere else, anywhere else. I hope this saves at least one person from going through what I did, especially if you aren’t easily able to advocate for yourself.
No one knows anything here when you call. This particular location may close at any time, with no explanation as to why. The people are polite, however, competence is needed. I am still weighing if I want to stay.

I went in for an exam and ended up needing two tooth extractions -- they were able to do the procedure immediately, and Dr. Fordjur was very informative and efficient. This was the best dental experience I've ever had, and I cannot recommend them enough!
I had a good experience for 2+ years with professional doctors. However, I was unexpectedly billed with the explanation that I "switched to a premium dentist" unbeknownst to me. I was never given this explanation beforehand and am disappointed with the lack of transparency.
I was in DC for a summer internship and had to make an emergency dental appointment for HORRIBLE tooth pain that basically sprang up overnight. The doctors here were able to see me same-day (and the front desk had such compassion for me!). The doctors were able to quickly diagnose my problem and refer me to a specialist for a root canal— the specialist was incredible!
I also want to note that my dentist at home consistently dismissed my complaints of sensitivity and pain. The dentists at this office were able to determine within minutes that I needed a root canal! I would give more than 5 stars if I could, and will absolutely be searching for a new dentist, who is as good as the dentists at Washington Center for Dentistry, when I return home.

Big fan of SPA Dental Group! I switched to SPA because my biggest pet peeve at the dentist is surprise charges, and they are very transparent with what my insurance does/does not cover and very open to questions/conversation about options. I've been a patient for 5-6 years and have always had a positive experience.
As good an experience as you can get when you have dental anxiety! Everything was thoroughly explained and Janet and Dr. Kumar were patient and wonderful. Would absolutely recommend.

I cannot say enough great things about my recent visit to the dentist's office. From start to finish, the staff was welcoming, professional, and highly skilled. The office was clean and modern, and I immediately felt at ease.
During my appointment, the dentist Richard Fordjour took the time to thoroughly explain the procedures I needed and answer all of my questions. They were gentle and patient throughout the entire process, making sure that I was comfortable and pain-free.

Went to check things out a couple of times, the receptionists was a great introduction. When it came to my consult I had an indefinite amount of time to ask all and any questions to my satisfaction. I had a bad experience with my last dentist and was quite honestly petrified to go back into the dentist. Dr. Jeremy Arroyo called me in advance of my visit, and the front-office staff reached out in advance as well to make sure I was comfortable. When I went in, from entire office from the front desk to the (excellent) hygienist to Dr. Arroyo and his tech were kind and patiently took me through the appointment. The office is top-notch. Dr. Arroyo clearly loves working on teeth and goes out of his way to make sure you understand what he sees and that you also feel comfortable. I’m grateful I found this office.
Upon the recommendation of a coworker, I have been a patient of Dr. John Arroyo for many years and I trust him completely. I was afraid of dentists, but he understood my fear and made me feel at ease. He is knowledgeable and friendly and cares about my health. My hygienist Nicole is very caring and makes sure that the health of my teeth and gums are the best they can be. I have had some experience with Dr. Jeremy Arroyo too and trust him as well. I highly recommend these dentists and their practice.
The Watergate Dental team is incredible, with amazing customer service. The hygienists are kind and caring and ensure you have all the information you need. Doctor Robinson goes above and beyond in her treatment. She truly cares about you as a patient. I really enjoy going to Watergate Dental.
I love Spa dental! Everyone who works there provides great care. Both Dr's have wonderful bedside manner and take time to explain everything and put you at ease. All the hygienists and admin folks I've been helped by have been lovely. Highly recommend.
I had a bad experience and won't go back. They cleaned my teeth for 5 minutes during a regular check-up and did x-rays. A technician suggested to the Dentist they do a crown operation. The technician approached me in the dentist chair, brought me my purse, and asked for my debit card to immediately charge $800 before I had a chance to think.

I cancelled my appointment for the crown and reminded the receptionist several times to refund my money. I never received the refund and had to dispute this charge through my bank.

I am TERRIFIED of Dentists TWO BAD experiances.. The WHOLE staff at JP Dental are extremely nice and understanding,my surgery n grafts went well, no pain or issues! I didnt understand the process/time to heal.

The entire team at Watergate from the front desk to hygienists to assistants to dentist (Dr. Gluck) are all rock stars who are kind, caring, and deliver excellent quality work. Thank you to the Watergate team for all you do! Is it weird to say I actually kind of enjoy going to the dentist now?!
Used to love Spa Dental but their quality of service has gone downhill. I have had great experiences in the past so I am hoping my experience doesn’t reflect their normal operations. From spamming my text messages to canceling my appointment an hour and a half before it was scheduled, I have had enough. I’ll be looking for another dentist but I hope they get back on track for the sake of the patients who need a reliable dentist. They used to be great!
The Washington Dental Studio (WDS) is extremely unprofessional and has taken $700 of my money and provided no service at all. I paid up front for flexible partials and have never received them. Originally I scheduled an appointment for dental work and had an infection in my gums at the time. I was given no medication which resulted in further infection in a thyroid tumor. I had to schedule emergency surgery with another dentist to remove infected and rotten teeth that WDS did not extract. Over a period of six months, Dr Ebbs refused to extract infected teeth. Please don’t be literally robbed of your money waiting for dentures. I have contacted them on several occasions requesting a refund to no avail. WDS is a fraudulent facility. I am 80 years old and have been taken advantage of by WDS.
I lived in Washington DC for almost four years and was blessed to have Dr. Ebbs as my dentist. He is so friendly, kind, and attentive. Everyone who works at his office also make dental appointments such a wonderful experience!
Worst dental appointment I ever had. The front desk and dental assistance makes this place look legitimate.The dentist was the rudest dentist I have ever encountered. I had to tell the dentist that her tone was coming off aggressive after she told me I could find another dentist if I didn't want her advice. I explained to her that she was talking-to me in a demeaning fashion and she blamed it on her talking fast. It was unprofessional as well as rude. I did get my teeth cleaned because I needed it but it is hard to take someone advice (dental opinion) when the dentist comes across hostile and defensive. It was a bit off putting to say the least. Anyone coming to this office will be getting subpar treatment because of the location. They don't seem to respect their clientele.
Terrible service. The dentist canceled my first appointment. I reschedule it, I was running 15 minutes behind. Because I got busy on my work. I called them to let them know about it. I arrived to my appointment and the dentist had left already. Trashy service!
From every angle, this is the best dental practice I’ve been to in a very long time if not in my whole life. This place just has a different vibration, something that sets it apart from other typical dental practices. I felt so well taken care of. I have honestly zero complaints, Dr. Nguyen is caring, clear, confident in what she’s doing and she’s s done a great job with my fillings. Thumbs up to the staff too for making the whole experience so smooth!
This was the least thorough dental appointment I’ve ever had. They didn’t even floss! The exam for cavities was maybe 2 seconds - no joke - a literal glance. Just quick scraping and very quick polishing. Not thorough at all - I feel like it was a waste of an appointment. I also had planned to go around my day off, and made sure they took my insurance ahead of time, but they called the morning of and said I had to set them as my dentist, which takes 3 week - so I had to reschedule. So inconvenient. I went here because of the convenient location, but I think it’s worth the trip to go somewhere else. The only reason I give it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff was friendly. Also, no photos because there’s signs everywhere that phones aren’t allowed.
I've been a patient here for a number of years and I have nothing but good things to say. Dr. Robinson is great! I really appreciate that she takes the time to explain everything head of each procedure. I sensitivity issues and I am generally averse to undergoing even the most basic dental work. I am happy to say I have never had a bad experience at this office. I recently completed Invisalign and my wife is happy with the results.

Really negative experience. I paid for a cleaning because they didn’t take my insurance, and they didn’t do a full cleaning. They used some sort of water pick that wet my entire body and caused my teeth immense pain, they did not polish, floss, or scrape plaque off my teeth and at the end of the process, my teeth were throbbing. Would not recommend.
You see alot in this little strip. Even things you dont want to. Very busy. Do not go near during bus drop off. You will be waiting.

I had an very unpleasant experience here two years ago. I was a new patient going in for a regular cleaning. The doctor literally left in the middle of the cleaning and forgot about me while I was in the chair. He started the cleaning, did the bottom row for half my mouth, and then LEFT. To tend to another patient? Whose needs superseded my own? In the middle of a cleaning?! I've never had that happen before. Terribly unprofessional.
On top of everything, when he came back, he was like "Ok, you're all done." I'm like "But, you left before you finished. You didn't even touch my left side . . ." And then he spent a cursory 5-10 minutes cleaning the remaining side. Totally unconvincing.
Also, this was probably the first time I had a cleaning after which I wasn't sure whether my teeth were actually cleaned. The service didn't inspire confidence, which is horrifying to say of any medical professional. I will not be returning.

Best dental office ever. Being at a couple dental offices before but this one is the absolutely best dental office ever. As soon as, you walk in, you can see a really clean and organized office. The receptionists are always smiling and being very helpful and kind. For the dental part, Dr. Margo Robinson is a tremendously knowledgeable and professional dentist. Her gentle smooth touch is going to override any dental fears and experiences you have had before. She explains every info detail to you and trying her best to make you have a healthy mouth and a nice smile. Every touch in your teeth is painless. She is one of the best dentists in the Washington Area and not only. All the hygienists are very professional and well trained by the dentists. These people don't waste a minute. They want happy and painless people. This place its 150% recommended.
Like any other review, every persons experience is different. After suffering with an exposed nerve for nearly three months, due to a worldwide pandemic, I was more than ready to have the tooth pulled and sent on my way. Dr. Bonds and his incredibly calming and professional staff, were able to save the tooth. From the first phone call to make the appointment to the latest appointment (today) I have felt nothing but comfort, love and kindness from this dental practice. Thank you for your time and help.

There's good & bad. We've been patients for several years and the past year has been the worst of any practice we've ever been to. We hope Dr. Ebbs becomes passionate again about his patients...don't take us for granted. We have stayed this long out of loyalty but our concerns are being ignored and the door is about to swing closed behind us. Our previous dentist left the practice ...very personable, at least we felt he was really concerned. As for Dr. Bonds...**!x&***XXX** and a few more. Dr. Ebbs...hit or miss.. Some days you are a real live patient & some days just another mouth he has to view. Staffing...previous staff more attuned to common courtesy's like tissue, professionalism, cleanliness, details, hospitality and helped you with a treatment plan for your best interest... just talked loudly & openly shared too much personal business while patients were in the chair. Current staff is younger, quieter, not so much on attentiveness to detail or cleanliness. Level of concern is that of "I'm here to do a basic job, get you in and out. We don't feel they all give honest opinions because they will reverse their answer to your question if you don't agree with their first response. However, in fairness, I did receive unexpected assistance and concern with an unfortunate incident. There never seems to be tissue to wipe your mouth...always used the bib or get out of the chair to retrieve a paper towel. I always have to ask for the polka dot goo splattered mirror, which isn't cleaned before being handed to me...yes, I clean it. Billing...it's more than a "SMH". Can be misleading...pay attention. I only hope the government or our insurance company doesn't accuse us of trying to defraud their systems. Workmanship... I have seen better quality done by "free clinics". Choose to have your crowns, partials etc made through another party of someone else that has work you admire.

When I had to get some emergency dental work done, Dr. SPA and her assistants went above and beyond to ease my anxiety and make me feel supported and comfortable. I really appreciate how accommodating they were, and I’m very confident in the quality of work that was done. They are also transparent about pricing and verified my treatment costs with my insurance on my first visit. As someone who usually dreads going to the dentist, I highly recommend them!!
A little better than the one in hiram but this location is currently under a lot of construction and things are just out of whack. Also, can someone please tell me why they are charging nearly $3.50 for whole milk and just below $3.00 for skim..what.. we have to pay for them to keep them fat in the milk now?
Super quick and painless trip to the dentist. I my experience at 3 other offices, I've always had to wait for a long time to be seen. Almost as soon as I finished my new patient paperwork, they were ready to have me (and I showed up early to the appointment). The girls at the front desk were personable and comical. The dentist was incredibly nice (and admittedly, easy to look at while getting a teeth cleaning lol). Even though I was in and out quickly, the staff made no sacrifices to make sure I had great service. Is it weird to say that I look forward to my next dental appointment???
Large Flea Market in the area. The early bird does catch the worm. If looking for special items at great prices and you enjoy haggling this is the place to be, but go early.
Really difficult to find office within this location because of signage. No issues other than that. Parking wasn't available right next to where I needed to go so I had to park out a little.
Bodyplex Hiram is a great facility with lots of options for exercise, even though this one has a smaller footprint than most I have seen. Check these good people out!
