Went to cash my check on the 29. I told Carletta multiple times I didn’t want a card during the process of me cashing my check in. Yesterday morning I found out it was an ace card being mailed to my house without my knowledge. I am very unsatisfied with the experience at this location

I used to pass by early to use the ATM and my card used to open the Door to get to the ATM.Doors no longer open with you ATM card.will be nice to have this service again
“Checks cashed” and they literally dont have cash. Do not come here. The owner was late by 40 minutes and did not have any cash on her and said “there is no way we can get you this amount at any time”. I came here for western union, so I suggest you avoid this place if you have more than 100$
This is the worse credit card I ever had. After using them for the first time I figured I make an over the limit payment. Even paying them before the due date. So, they freeze the card because they need to verify that the bank, I used to make the payment is actually my account. So, I sent them the documents they requested using the email address they provided. then, I called them to check up on the status of the restriction and they said I have to wait 12 business days to use the card again. Mind you this was after them allowing me to make the first purchase. How does this make any sense? Of course, this was after dealing with 5 different overseas foreign speaking individuals who all they could say is thank you have a nice day and sorry for your frustration.

Best quesabirria tacos by far! We go at least once a week and have the contact saved as Ole' Faithful cause we know them tacos always gonna hit the spot!
The ATMs are behind closed doors in the after-hours. There are card slots that are supposed to open them, and they do flash green when you put your credit card in, but the doors don't react. Had to look for another Capital one ATM all over the city...
5 star service from Mike. Came in today told him what I needed and he gave me excellent service, even asked questions about the service and he explained it to me great. He called me by my name and even told me happy early birthday as he was handing me back my ID.

Helpless, however, in performing basic banking functions, like a wire transfer. Apparently not the fault of the employees but of their systems. First time trying to do that, I was told they do not even have the system/option to do that and was redirected to do it myself online. Had to spend more than one hour in phone support hell after that.

Walked to this location to open a new account. I was briskly told that it can only be done online. I proceeded to call their customer service, who said they should’ve been happy to do it at the in-person location.
My first time at this location was a success! Dominque was great and quick. I was not expecting this level of service so I am super satisfied and will be coming back if I ever need to cash a check.
I came into ACE after a visit I no trip to the consignment shop and Dominic helped me ! She was so pleasant and timely ! Her customer service and conversation were amazing ! By far the best check cashing experience I’ve ever had.
Ms. Roberta and Ms. Carletta are ALL YOU NEED to get you in and out of this store with everything you need! These two wonderful and knowledgeable ladies took almost an hour out of their day to help my elderly father cash his check, get his money orders and TEACH him how to use CashApp. These ladies went ABOVE AND BEYOND what is required at a check cashing place. Their attentive service to him while I was out of town was invaluable to him and me as well.
They patiently walked him through the process of creating his account and even made a courtesy call to me to make sure he had someone else with the info that could assist him in the future. I cannot thank these two ladies enough and the fact that they did so all while keeping the other store patrons moving in and out is incredible. Great customer service support at this capital one branch
Have you ever felt that you are in some kind of a carnival when you enter into one of their branches? I have been a customer of the bank for more than 20 years, even before they changed the name, and I jave seen the bank evolve over the years. This branch like many others has the feel of a cafe where customwers can just chill, but as I was told by an employee that the comfortable tables and chairs are for the employees use. The bank just seems hoky and not very serious. Heaven forbid that you have an actual issue and try to call customer service. I have never once had a pleasant experience dealing with the transfers or call drops.
Ms. Robertta Was really nice and so patient as I was in the cash a check..she made sure everything went smoothly. I appreciate her and the team that assisted her over the phone. I wish I could give this store more than 5 stars I always come here for years and will continue to just for the great customer service . Thank you !

I deposited 2 checks this morning and they said they didn’t have records on file… Had file a complaint with corporate!!! definitely will not be using this ATM machine again

Online hours differ from the hours on the store window. Everytime I go is closed. I live close by. Why Western Union at this store/location do customers like tht?
It’s always a pleasure coming to this ACE. Everyone there is friendly and handles everything so professionally. Even when some customers come in being rude with them. I love how calmly they handle every situation and doesn’t let it effect or carrying on to the next person in line. They’re fast and always makes my trip there quick with no problem. My favorite person there is Dominic, she always has a smile on her face and gives top tier customer service.

I had one of the worst customer service experience today...I was here on this location to make a cash withdrawal, 4 people were ahead of me,I checked the time, it was 3:06 pm, when I thought my turn came in, I walked to the the tellers window, the teller saw me but never said a word, she apparently ignored me; I patiently kept waiting for her but I after waiting for about 5 minutes she walk away and finally said something, oh I didn't call nobody?
That really made me upset.

I don’t mind waiting for a transaction I had to do, but I asked the white guy (whoever he is there) before about changing bills. The cashier was counting coins like if she was counting wheat seeds, and then when she finally was done she did not have the bills. Convenient location just not a good customer service.
Went into the bank to get a cashiers chk, Currently have 6 credit cards with this bank but dont really use my bank account becuase of the bad service I received previously from this bank, But yet again the teller was slow and acted like she was stuck on stupid, and treated me like I was a criminal. She was also somewhat rude. I later called to speak to the branch Manager a Peter Brown and was put on hold and never connected due to the fact they knew I was calling about my experience at the branch. I emailed the corp office and someone said they would call me about my experience at the bank on August 11 2022 3pm Indian/spanish woman

Awful experience with a business account. Showed up with all the necessary documentation, all the necessary people present, but they were unable to make a simple personnel switch (add/drop signatory authority) because Capitol One in VA had lost our documentation from the previous time we did a personnel switch. The K street branch were unhelpful, consistently gave contradictory information, gave us no direction with how to proceed. They were absolutely dumbstruck with any path forward, and would regularly tell us the wrong information or information that was quickly proven not true. They were so rude and unwilling to even call their manager as we sat in the lobby for over an hour.

This place is delicious!! I got three tacos; carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor. The salsa verde is so tasty! I'm stuffed but also wish I had more. 😢
I was a Chevy Chase Bank customer when Capital One took over. They have the WORST customer service ever, and their services SUCK! THEY LIE LIKE A RUG, TO YOUR FACE, OVER AND OVER AGAIN! ATM has been partially functuonal for almost two (2) months now, and everytime you inquire, they say, "Oh, I was not aware that the ATM was not working"......LIARS! You dont know that it has been partially working or not all for almost two (2) months? Seriously? Everyone, do your self a favor and find another bank, who at least cares about your banking concerns.
Rude and unfriendly tellers let you stand online while they groom themselves. No greeting when you finally are allowed at their window. Have no knowledge to help you with your question. Time to go back to Chase. Also a customer had her card stuck and transaction frozen. She went back and forth telling the teller who finally went out to help. When she returned to her window she went back to cutting loose threads on her sweater.

Worst Capital One bank branch ever! Manager or banker was sitting in front and talking on the phone for 15 mins while people wait in line. Also sent me away saying I don’t have an appointment. They were no body in there. Their system don’t have available time slot next 6 months. Lazy bank workers and useless manager. Close the branch if you won’t serve your customers.

Recently visited this branch and was treated incredibly rude by the manager. I was simply paying my dad's credit card and the teller wanted my full social security number..this had never happened before and I've been paying the card for a while as my dad is an older guy and im also a authorized user anyway..I asked to speak to the manager who explained that was the policy even though it's never happened once before and giving out your social can be dangerous...she basically cut me off every time I tried to speak and as I was leaving passed the remarks "don't get Corona out there "..awful experience and I won't be going back

I love their fish tacos and I really love being able to shop for another cultures snacks and food to try! Both the horchata and jemica water are always amazing!! I honestly like their horchata more than other Mexican restaurants in the area! 😍 The butchers portion always looks amazing if I was more confident in my cooking skills I would invest in their quality meat! 😋
I had a bad experience at this branch when I tried to access my safe deposit box. The staff behind the teller line gave me inaccurate information about how to make an appt. to open my box. I made a second trip to the branch only to find out I couldn't get into the box because I hadn't followed the proper procedure. I had, in fact, done exactly what they told me to do. So I had to go back a third time. BTW, I'm an older person with a compromised immune system, making me more likely to get COVID. This information did not seem to make any impression on the branch personnel. I'm a long time customer of Capital One, and this experience has been very disappointing.

I ordered a tripe quesadilla with rice and beans. Delicious. The pico de gallo and crema they sell is delicious.--update to review. I've tried several different tripe quesadillas in this area and Guadalajara has the best. They also make fresh avocado sauce and pico. They have a great selection.
Baits customers with false deposits from bankrupt companies with their capital one 360 product, customer service verifies the deposits as legit over the phone, stating that they are from your regular depositor despite what the description says, then abruptly reverses the deposits a week later, and profits off the overdraft and interest charges. I can't wait until this fraud is exposed.

Hi I called today to replace my lost at home credit card. I asked the representative not to block the current card while sending the replacement. They did completely wrong blocking the card + I had to wait over 30 minutes and been asked the same questions over and over. This is terrible service. Plus I cannot customize the design of the card, which almost every financial institution offers to do and it’s quite easy.

You won't be able to access your account. About 3 weeks ago Capital One had an "issue" where internet access was not available. At least 4 hours of multiple calls, endless transfers, and research still no access. Reached out to the guy that opened my account in the branch, his response is for me to come to the branch. Why? So that the two of us can stair at the error I get on the phone/laptop?
The bank is incompetent, every call is at least 15 min wait. Wells Fargo is in the next block. Stay away from amatures.

One of a few service locations still available on Saturday until noon. The bank is within walking distance to the Capitol and other federal buildings. Street parking only is available. The handicap ramp access is great. Upon entering a seated representative welcomes you from behind a large desk. Behind that wall is the banking area.
The staff is friendly, attentive and greets many return customers as if they were old friends.

Discrimation today by Latino representatives. I waited in line while the customer in front of me conducted his transaction. There was a women at over at the counter for some time filling out papers. Now I'm next; although here comes the Latino women going in the line next. I asked rep to let the Latin women know where the line was. The Latino rep told me she next and i can go somewhere else to cash my check. Discussed -- I asked ask management. Management was called and Surprising the management concurred although not in site. Now the rep is refusing to cash the check. I forgot to mention, I'm a black male!
