Frequent customer here and I’ve never had a bad experience from the service to the food. I always get the chicken tenders and waffles but I went with the new loaded burger bowl and it did not disappoint. Our server Marisol A. was awesome as well! Food came out amazing and so fast! Never dissatisfied with Metro!
I honestly do not know where to begin but I can say I was completely blown away by the impeccable service I received. The food and my waiter, L.B were consistently delightful from beginning to end.
We went to Succotash to celebrate our anniversary and chose “The Taste of the South” which is a six course meal.
You get the opportunity to try 11 different recipes from appetizers to desserts. We honestly loved every dish that was served. I was the most impressed with the Shrimp and Grits. (I do not normally like grits so when I say this was good It was AMAZING) It was well prepared and actually tasted good!
L.B was very attentive, the staff worked very well together, and It was a very calm atmosphere. Our plates were replaced every time a new round came out and L.B. cleaned the table every time the plates were changed. I’ve been raving about this experience since I left! Do not think twice book that reservation- we definitely will be back!! Thank you, L.B. for making our anniversary so special ♥️🥂

The food was delicious! The service was wonderful and the restaurant was amazing! No one told me about the waterfall. It was an awesome feature. I had the beef tips and my gf had the southern fried chicken. We shared a slice of pecan pie. GET IT ALL 😊
Everything was very good, very fresh and delicious. The waiter was great, really patient with requests from my elderly family members. I forget his name but he recommended a mocha cake dessert and it was amazing! We would definitely dine here again when in town.
This review is for the basement section only. The upstairs restaurant wasn't open when we went.
My husband and I met another couple there, and we were directed to the basement dining area. The waitress wasn't rude, but she was basically non-existent. After asking us what we wanted to drink, she got the drinks and then disappeared for over 15 minutes. They weren't very busy at all, and our waitress appeared to only have 2 other tables with parties of 4 or less, so we could not understand what was taking so long. Finally my husband went up to the bar and asked if we could get assistance. Suddenly the waitress appeared and took our orders. The food came out in an appropriate amount of time, and it was good! After we got the food, we didn't see the waitress again for another 15-20 minutes, and all of our drinks had gone dry at that point. My husband was silently fuming at this point, so I went up and asked the bartender again if she could get a waitress for us.
I'm hoping that it was a single bad experience, and I will give it another shot because the food was good and all the other servers seemed good. Next time we want to make sure the upstairs dining is open, because it looked very nice up there!

Love this place. Came here with my boyfriend a few months ago and the service was friendly, attentive, and it’s become one of our new favorite restaurants. The servings are generous for the price and it’s delicious.
Had a great birthday dinner, family style, which allowed us to all taste a variety of delicious dishes. The wings were some of the best I've ever had! Our server was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!
This is a great place to meet on Sunday morning. The people that work there are always friendly and great to talk too. I would recommend this place to come and eat, the food is homemade and good
Came in on Friday 8/25/23 at 7:30pm. Only couple in the restaurant with a 3 year old. Three staff members present. Asked waitress about food status 40 minutes into waiting, and I could hear the cook rudely say "They want the food cooked!!!" Took 45 minutes to get our food. Food was cold except for the eggs cooked at the last minute, and didn't taste good at all. I have been a frequent flyer of these establishments, in many areas, however never seen such poor customer service. I know now why there was no one else in the establishment.

was probably one of the worst dining experience ever. will definitely not be back and I was not only one complaining. customer before me and after me at check out all were not happy either. so sad was so bad that people of Shelbyville can't have something good to eat there
There is no sign saying that you can't order at the actual order area. Drove up to the window, where they said that is where you ordered, was proceeded to be told that half of the items on the menu weren't available, and was given tea that went bad.

Pros: So the food was amazing! We got the smoked wings, cheesy grits, collard greens, jalapeño poppers , fried chicken & waffles & catfish I’d definitely say the chicken and waffles was the highlight!! The atmosphere was really nice and inviting and the prices aren’t too bad. The waiters was very sweet and attentive to our needs.
Cons: The entrees don’t come with sides so u have to order them separately which can add up and become pricey, it took a while before someone came to assist us I think they was a little short staffed but that wasn’t a big deal, drinks aren’t really strong but a bit pricey and glasses of wine aren’t actual half glasses it’s like a double shot. Overall we definitely will come again 💕

Everything was delicious except scrambled eggs, they were uncooked in the center, couldn't eat. But oh those pancakes and grits. Just perfect. I hadn't been to a restaurant in 3 years, so looked forward to it.
Stopped here for lunch to taste the famous recipe and after learning the story of the dinner house. The food was soo amazing! The staff were friendly and attentive. We sat down right away and got our order in. They also have a gift shop you can check out before you go. It was well worth the stop and I would highly recommend it!

This Bojangles is so hot inside this restaurant, it’s operating in a unhealthy conditions with the employees working with no working AC. The restrooms is also closed and under construction. The staff was friendly and attentive even with the staff working in this Unsafe, unhealthy Environment. My steak eggs and cheese biscuit sandwich was tasty.
I just moved here and I needed some food. This place on Central was very close so I stopped by. The food is absolutely amazing and was served hot and fresh. The cornbread and mac & cheese are out of this world! Everything was great. The peach cobbler is not overly sweet, which I like.
Super cute & laid back restaurant in downtown Roswell! This was our first time eating in downtown Roswell and we randomly walked by Roux and picked to eat here. It has both inside and outside seating, which is always a draw, so we decided to have a late lunch outside on their patio. The service was exceptional, everyone was super sweet and friendly. We started off with some signature Roux cocktails, both were very tasty and were not light on the liquor. They have a full bar and a lot of options for both liquor and beer! I got the Roux Bleu burger for my entree and it was absolutely delicious!! The best burger I have eaten at a restaurant in a very long time. Very juicy, full of flavor, perfectly layered with fried jalapeños, pickles, lettuce, spicy ranch, and Bleu cheese. The sweet potato fries were also super yummy, and the portions are large!! He got the Cuban which was also top tier. He said it was the most meat he’s ever received on a Cuban and he loved it! Curly fries were his side of choice and they were so delicious and had a zesty seasoning that was addicting. We loved this little place! Super glad we stopped by, and I definitely recommend it!
I drove to this place from Baltimore and I was so hot in there because they had no ac but the Sunday manager and all the staff was so nice! It was probably the best customer service I have ever had! The new owners need to GET THOSE HARD WORKERS SOME AC!!!
Randomly came across this restaurant. All the employees were friendly, the restaurant itself has very unquie decor. And most importantly the food was very good. My daughter, who is a very picky eater, devoured their stuff french toast in 5 minutes. Would definitely go back again.
Chicken and waffles were hot & fresh. The chicken sandwich was good. Our server was very pleasant. Overall, it was a decent meal from the diner.
Absolutely loved this place. The deviled eggs are awesome. Try the bacon jam ones and you will not regret it. The chicken and waffles were on point the glaze on the chicken made them pop. We ordered the Pimento cheese hush puppies and they were very moist and you really could not tell they had much pimento. The pimento sauce they come with was good. Try the pimento hamburger. So moist and cooked to order. The salmon and succotash was delicious. All the dishes we ordered were good. Our server was so good and attentive. If you need a good server ask for Kishion. Thanks Succotash for a great experience.
This was a date night with the hubby. It was ok but not my favorite restaurant in the harbor. I love shrimp and grits but this was not one that I would reorder. Give them a try if you have not been here 🙂.
First time eating at Claudia Sanders since the COVID pandemic & it was as good as it has always been. Food & service were excellent. Prices were very reasonable except tea & soft drinks were a little high in my opinion. Tea & soft drinks were $3.99. By the time you add sales tax & tip, that makes a drink over $5. However, we did not come for the drinks. Chicken & sides were excellent.
The food was simply amazing. Everything was fantastic! We got the sharing plate for two and they brought us everything we wanted to try off the menu. The wings were fantastic, the Mac and cheese- brilliant. I love chicken and waffles but theirs was absolutely amazing. So much so that my husband ate it! I don't eat fish but he said all the fish dishes were so great. Check this place out you won't regret it.
We live in Savannah and go here pretty often. This time we got 8 pc tenders, a chicken sandwich, and 2 sides all for $26!!!!!! In this economy I want to eat here every day. Even the grocery store is more expensive than this! The respect I have for this establishment for not hiking up their pricing just because they sell a good product is everything to us and why we eat here multiple times a week!!!

I went in for take out, they were about to close in 30 minutes and I thought the food was gonna be old and hard but I just moved and so tired and didn’t wanna cook. To my surprise everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious! The corn bread was so good! Was sweet and fresh. Meatloaf was amazing, melts in your mouth, Mac n cheese, cabbage and green beans all delicious. Honestly way better than it looks, I was surprised how good it was. The staff was super friendly. I will come back again.
I wouldn’t change a single thing about this place. Each of the staff from the busser who was outside on break who welcomed me and opened the door to the amazing and kind servers to the talented chefs. I love a classic breakfast but every item I had was beyond great. Hands down the best grits I’ve ever had, the biscuits especially with the apple butter was out of this world! Now I’m extremely sad that I don’t live here because I won’t be able to enjoy this anytime soon. I truly hope to come back because this was amazing!
My family and I found this place back in march because I liked the outside. We found out quickly the food was delicious, and the service was even better. We left happy, full and wanting to come back next time we were in Raleigh. The other day we came back and once again Mecca didn’t disappoint. The mimosas were strong, the chicken was juicy and the hush puppies were perfect! We had another server this time & she was amazing. I unfortunately didn’t catch her name, but she was great. When I think of southern hospitality I think of my experience here. We will be back for sure!
The place looked closed. The young lady at the register looked like she wanted to be somewhere else. I ordered a 3 piece meal with fries and cole slaw. They didn't have any cole slaw, the fries were dry and hard, the biscuit tasted half done, and the chicken was burnt. The only thing halfway decent was the tea. I will never eat there again. I threw the whole thing away.
The 🥞 pancakes were good. Ordered sausage as well, both the link and patty. I liked the patty better. French toast is more like a bread casserole, rather than slices, but was very good. It comes with spinach and fruit on the side. Ordered scrambled eggs and they were overcooked, but not terrible. I wish the meal came with the meat and eggs as part of the dish instead of having to order separately. Prices were very reasonable. Great atmosphere.
The Table did not disappoint! The ambiance was beautiful, and the dishes were exceptional. I highly recommend their shrimp and goat cheese grits - it was absolutely amazing along with all the other dishes I ordered. No complaints whatsoever.
The food was fantastic. We both had the chicken, it was great. Potatoes and gravy, green beans were great sides, the mac & cheese was ok. Wish they would of had a chocolate dessert, but I didn't need it of course.

We went a week ago. They had no chicken biscuits. The ac was not working. The women’s bathroom was out of service. It’s a shame because we went out of our way to go there but that will be the last time. The staff should not have to work in those conditions. What we ended up ordering was eh. Sadly, it did not seem to be fresh. It was overcooked and dry. Even the botatoes were over fried. I ended up tossing half my meal. It is not the reputation that Bojangles has worked to achieve. Staff seemed out of sorts but who could blame them, it was hot and they were out of food items mid afternoon. Lastly, the dining area could be updated. It did not seem very clean or crisp. We ended up eating our food in the car. It could be a jewel because it is a unique northern Bojangles but instead it is currently not well maintained.

Slightly sweet and butter! Baked apples were soft and sweet. Corn pudding wasn't too overpoweringly sweet and solid. White milk gravy is my favorite of the sides although all of them are great.
The chicken is much crispier than KFC's 11 spiced soggy chicken and half the salt. Really tender too! Chicken tenders were not dry either despite being white meat!

My husband and I are here for the weekend. We are originally from Texas. We look this place up and absolutely did not disappoint! Food was phenomenal!! Service was amazing! Loved being able to sit outside in the nice weather! Will definitely come back when we are here next!!

They were out of biscuits. They said they didn't have them all day because the person who makes them didn't show up for work. I was really disappointed because I live in Dalecity and we don't have a Bojangles. I only went for a biscuit and chicken. I canceled my order but decided to get mashed potatoes only to learn that they only have them with gravy. I don't like gravy so I canceled that order too. It was a wasted trip in the pouring rain on my way back to Virginia. I'm really upset with myself because I was told not to go to that one in the first place because they are always out of something and doesn't look very clean . I can't really say if they aren't clean or not because I was using the drive through. I can say however I won't make the same mistake by going there again.
By far one of the best Cracker Barrel visits at any location we have been to between several states. Our waiter was probably one of the best we have ever had anywhere. Service was excellent and the food was good as always.

Got seated and they took my order. Then watched people seated after me get served. When I asked the girl said they forgot and had to cook it fast. The omelet was runny and the hashbrowns were overcooked. Definitely not going there again

Placed the order at 12:20 and they started MAKING the order at 2 since the computer was “down” while the waitress kept coming back and telling us that the food is almost ready. They also messed up orders and had these weird pieces of bread for French toast. They further charged us full price for the food. The manager said he’d give us a discount and proceeded to give us 1 dollar off ??

Food was good, steak was perfect but hash browns were over crispy. Service was slow. I waited an hour for my meal with 2 cooks going and past rush hour

I had chicken and french toast. It was delicious 😋 But our fun loving server David was the best. He was on point, friendly and funny. He definitely got our day started out right.
We loved our Sunday morning brunch at Mecca. Apparently if you get there early, there is no crowd. We got there around 9 and were among the first. Be warned though: the brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday is not the same as the weekday menu. We thought we were just going for biscuits, but they have a nice brunch menu on the weekend. We still wound up getting biscuits: bacon cheddar biscuits with sausage gravy. We added a side of country ham to complete the pork trifecta. Everything was delicious and staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend.
Cracker Barrel isn't just about food. Their store makes waiting for a table almost fun. We didn't have to wait long for a table though. The server, Debbie, took great care of us. She even got my finicky sweet tea order right. (A little sweet and a lot unsweetened) The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. I'm sorry that there are no pictures but I was starving and about devoured my country fried steak and gravy. Their "side salad" was big enough to be a meal by itself. If you are hungry and nearby then drop in. If you're not hungry then drop in anyway. Do some shopping.

Randomly stumbled upon this place while in Savannah looking for soul food. The wait was long, but WORTH the wait. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious, my family couldn’t stop talking about it every bite they took. I will definitely be back!
Sunday buffet: sticky table, sticky floors. No dark meat. The chicken was cooked extremely well and nicely spiced even as the crust was soggy from moisture build up in the buffet tray. The ham was dry. No way we’re the peas fresh, or the corn. Standard institutional fare.
A true Diamond in the rough ! The atmosphere is great and music always makes you wanna sing and dance along !! Food is great and decently priced so you can feed the whole family without breaking the bank !! The bloody Marys are AMAZING ..not to mention They have a full bar!! .. cannot wait until they start opening at night , without a doubt will I be returning ‼️
Such a unique diner! It is over 90+ years old! The interior is from a world long gone by and so cozy! They have a delicious looking baked goods display and excellent brewed coffee. The best part of this diner though is the vibrant and friendly wait staff! They go above and beyond and even helped us find great tourist attractions nearby.
Oh my goodness! Fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, sweet potatoes, and corn bread DO NOT get better than this! On vacation and we all just wanted some good ol’ southern food. We saw the reviews and were all in. This restaurant did not disappoint and our hostess Crystal and her team were amazing. Clearly, this establishment is well known by the community, because people just kept coming in. If you are in the area, stop in and enjoy!!

I had a tasty catfish dinner with green beans and mac n cheese with a freshly squeezed house lemonade. It was pretty good. the only complaint was that the mac n cheese was not quite cheesy.
Other than that, good service, friendly staff, got seated right away, and on top of it all my drink STAYED full.

Located in the National Harbor, It's a huge space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a bar area as well. We had a big party and they were able accommodate pretty easily. It's a versatile space that can be a family restaurant as well as a great sport for a date night.

Our server was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. She helped us with drink options, knew the menu well and overall had great spirit and energy that compliment our party.

We ended up getting the 'Taste the South Supper' which is the family style preset menu where they bring out a variety of starters, mains, sides and deserts. Everything was enjoyable. The stands out for me were the deviled eggs, chicken wings, mac and cheese and the blue catfish. There was plenty of food to go around - almost too much by the time we got to deserts. I was pleasantly pleased with all of the food and would definitely come back for either this menu or to try other things off the menu.

Overall this was a great experience, great vibe and great food with family and friends. I would definitely be back to this restaurant or try the one in DC. Highly recommend.

Me & my partner love this spot for brunch. Food never takes long and we always have some food to take home. The biscuits with the white sauce cream is my faveee. I normally get the same dish everytime I come but can never remember the name 🥴😂 (This is from my dining experience in October 2022)
My job wanted to try this place which was highly recommended for the chicken. We tried calling several times to place a pickup order BUT no one answered the phone. My coworker drove there and waited over an hour to place order/pickup order. We ordered a 16-piece bucket of chicken with a large macaroni n cheese side item and two (2) mini loaves (blueberry and original). Total was over $40.
Now, to me the chicken was not the best because it had so much skin on it. Mac n cheese was ok. However, the mini-loaves with blueberry spread was the BEST! Totally delicious! Overall, I wasn’t impressed but my men coworkers ate 14 pieces between the two of them and enjoyed it lol. 😋😋

Literally just got our order . Now I know these delivery places add a little more onto the base price but man you guys literally gave me a tiny scoop of Mac and cheese for almost 4 bucks . And an underwhelming amount of fries in all of our meals . Never had this place before today and probably won't again
Delicious! Extremely vegetarian friendly. We were able to easily switch chicken sausage with beyond meat veggie sausage. The grits, moon dusted potatoes, and the spicy vegan collard greens especially stood out, but all the food was tasty. I'm honestly already to go back, and glad that I still have some leftovers!

The one in Shelbyville is going downhill. I seemed rushed, and they weren't busy. The waitress acted as if were a crime I wanted dessert.
So I decided to give them another chance. It was a fiasco, ordered hamburger steak well done, it came cold and red on the inside. When I brought it to the waiters and managers attention they acted as if they could care less. Paid for something I couldn't eat. I like Cracker Barrel, bit will never go to this location again

The food, outdoor atmosphere and the service was all incredible. My friend and I tried this place and had an amazing meal and cocktails. Our waitress was so kind and was very well informed about how to accommodate to my Celiac Disease. I felt so safe eating here, and she even clarified a few questions for me kindly with the kitchen. We will absolutely be returning!!
Visiting from Naples, Florida; found this restaurant through google. How I wish I could relocate this family business to Naples. I love chicken; this was awesome! Had Mac n cheese and candied yams; delicious! What a wonderful family business. If you are in the area, do not hesitate to stop for a meal! We went at 3:00 in the afternoon so we missed the lunch crowd but beat the dinner throng.
My waitress Emily was the best. She was very attentive to our needs. She made this experience nice. Ask for Emily you will not regret it!!
We thought about going to ihop for my birthday and decided to go to huddle house and the food was amazing. The servers were all attentive and so friendly. I never had to ask for more coffee because they filled up my cup when it got low.
I bought Easter dinner from here yesterday. I ordered fried chicken, Mac and cheese and greens. The chicken was cooked to order and good. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the sides. They were not terrible. Just not soul food. The Mac and cheese was creamy and very cheesy but had no flavor. It was not seasoned like soul food mac and cheese. The greens were a bit tough, salty and spicy. Cornbread was very dry. Again, not Soul Food. I will not return. I wish we had more authentic soul food options in Charlotte. Floyd's is the best I've had here.
I tried chicken and waffles wherever I visit. I had the Dirty Bird. Chicken well seasoned, waffles fluffy, eggs cooked like I like. Skipped the chicken gravy. Potatoes just average. Biscuits ok but the cranberry applebutter was a show stealer.
My sister took me here for a birthday brunch❤️♓ They played 80s music that was so nostalgic and we had a window table that let in lots of natural light. The potatoes were especially delicious, as was the grits and pancakes! I enjoyed ever second of our visit!
My wife and I were visiting Savannah for the first time and my wife randomly chose this place for a quick bite to eat. I can honestly say that this was SOME OF THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN WE'VE EVER EATEN! We were so impressed, we came back the next day (Saturday) for the fresh fried flounder, shrimp and crab cakes. Again, Phenomenal! Our server, Crystal was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had a great dining experience and on top of everything else, she provided us with a lot of recommendations for sightseeing, shopping and jazz clubs. When we visit Savannah again, this place will most definitely be at the top of our list! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Stopped by for breakfast with my wife and baby girl and it was such a pleasant experience. One thing we wish was better was the amount of whatever sweet icing is inside the stuffed French toast because we got such a small coating of it. Genet was very attentive and so helpful and friendly! She even packed our to go boxes in a bag which of course she didn’t have to do but she did! Will go back and ask for her every time. Thank you so much Genet!!

The restaurant is very nice, the staff was also friendly. There are a few things that could use improvement. The mashed sweet potatoes were alright, the consistency just seemed off. Also the size portion for children's Mac n cheese was very small for the price. The chicken cordon blu sandwich was pretty delicious. The bacon on it was actually unbelievably thick and tasty. I've never seen bacon like that on a sandwich, even a BLT. The crunchy onions were delicious. The chicken itself was huge, so that's a plus. I couldn't finish the sandwich because I was too full. But we did have to wait close to an hour after ordering our food.

The rest of the sandwich was flavorful, the bread, which is very important to any Cajun po’boy was good along with the lettuce, tomatoes and spread. Overall a decent sandwich but I’ve had a lot better on canton street.
The steak tacos - classic beef tacos were a bit pricy at $18 for two and only one side. The tacos were delicious but the hush puppy side was dry and had no flavors.

Tip - Sundays are $.50 raw oysters, they were fresh and delicious.

Ordered roast beef and grilled chicken with bacon and cheese, dumplings, macaroni and cheese, and broccoli. They forgot my broccoli and I had to go through 3 different people to place my to-go order. There are 3 people standing in front and none of them can take your order, seems kind of counterproductive. I stood there for a while before someone came out with a pen and pad to take my order. It was a very long wait for my food, so i wrnt to get gas and cane back. And continued to wait, finally my order came out. I went home and realized they forgot my dumplings, I called and they said i could pick them up the next day. The dumplings were like thick paste.

Beware if the coke runs out because it will take at least 30 min to change it and the waitress will bring 2 of the cokes ordered at the table and leave one off. The food is really good here but the service was terrible. We asked for the drink menu and it took 2 reminders to get it after she came to the table to get our drink order after about 10 min. The rest of the service was the same. There were a total of about 10 tables with people and 3 waitresses. Not sure what the problem was since we all didn't get there at once. We also ordered brussels sprouts with one of the entrees and we got fries instead. The waitress was no phased in the slightest. The most she said to us was when it was time for us to pay.

First time there and the food was delicious! Hubby had fried pork chops, mac and cheese and cabbage. I had meatloaf, collard greens and yams. Everything was really, really good! Only thing was my meatloaf wasn't hot. They took it back and warmed it up for me! Finally, yams that were tasty and not super sweet. The collards were fiyah, OMG!!

We came for Saturday brunch, and it was phenomenal!!!! The omelet chef is awesome and it was great!!! I was initially concerned about the type of food they would serve, but they blew my mind!!! Everything served on the brunch menu is excellent, we tried almost everything on that menu. The mimosas are really good and the all you can drink option was worth it. At $25 per adult and $12 per child, all you can eat, we felt like we definitely got our money's worth and it's quality food!!! The dessert bar is incredible!!! I really like what they have done with this place, the store, Cafe and bakery upstairs is also worth a visit. The restaurant is in back downstairs. I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed!!!
I finally ate at Metro Diner last week. I really enjoyed the breakfast I ordered from their menu. Just in time for fall/October and pumpkin. The pumpkin waffle and bread pudding were so delicious. The waffle was like dessert in itself. The service was quick, and the food was hot as well as it all tasted fresh.
My first time here and Sophia was my Server, she was very friendly and very nice excellent customer service she even went outside and took the picture for me I was so excited this food is extremely amazing as you can see I have the fried Chicken and waffles cheesy grits and my friend had fish a chips with broccoli. The food is extremely hot and fresh I will be here again trust me.
First time eating at this place. The $1 oysters were good. Salmon entree was good, the rosoto was a little over cooked. I think because they were rushing to get it out because we had some Togo orders on the same ticket and there was a mess up. Waitress took care of it and took the salmon entree off the ticket. The beignets were a little too dense, needs to be more airy inside and not enough powder sugar on it at all. Fried oyster were good but small compared to other places.

I ordered the 3 peice chicken with cabbage and fried okra. The fried okra was delicious! Chicken was very flavorful, and the cabbage was tasty. For dessert tried the peach cobbler, but that wasn't so good. The crust was very chewy and it just wasn't right. Food was reasonable priced and the wait wasn't to long. I will go back. Definitely some good food.

It was our first time on canton street and it has a ton of different restaurants to choose from. We hopped around and chose to dine at Roux. We weren’t too hungry so we had some small plates to share.
The drinks here are absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend the frozen margarita. We ordered fried oysters which were good too, as well as a watermelon salad. The watermelon was fresh and juicy however there was way too much cilantro which did not pair well with the salad.

This place was a nice surprise. I used to live in the university area and wish this place was here when I was. The location is tucked away between the Bank of America and the Bojangles.

I was able to get the meatloaf with collards and green beans. All the sides are prepared without meat so you could have a totally vegetarian meal if you wanted. My wife got the BBQ chicken with green beans and mac&cheese. The BBQ chicken was fine. Yet, the sides were way better.

Wife and I stopped for late breakfast. I got the sunrise sampler, she got the pancake breakfast. With 2 drinks it came out to $28 plus tip. Food was great. Service was poor last time, but much better today, could have been due to how slow they were though. My main negative is that the biscuits were hard enough to break a window with. They need to replace then with fresh ones when they get that hard. Otherwise, everything was great and tasted very fresh!
Came here to grab a quick lunch during a Saturday and have no complaints. The service was wonderful, food delicious and the location created a nice atmosphere. We got the lobster roll with mac and cheese and chargrilled oysters (comes in counts of 3 and has 3 flavors available) to share. Each of us also ordered burgers for ourselves with fries. The fries were nice and crispy. We will definitely come back!
