Came here for lunch on a Thursday. I got the pork bbq plate + burnt ends with collard greens and mac and cheese. The hush puppies and pickled veggies came with the meal. Everything was delicious except the collards sadly…just not savory enough. But I still overall really enjoyed the meal! I will definitely come back to try the other meats! Also the manager came around to check on everyone and was super friendly! - always appreciate that!

I come here every time I'm in Raleigh. Delicious Southern (or is it Carolinian?) food, especially the brisket, chicken, baked beans, and broccoli casserole. Very welcoming, laid-back vibes, too. I would come here again.

I did take out. Let me start off by saying I was in Charlotte this weekend and stopped by the Smoke Pit in Salisbury on the way home. Their food was soooo good my family ate it all and left none for me. Well, not having the time to drive back, I read through many reviews to try to find a replacement. I chose Midwood Smokehouse. That I see happened to be a bad decision. The burnt ends were hard and not tender at all to where I couldn't or shall I say didn't eat them. The brisket was ok. Had a lot of fat on it, probably more fat than meat and just the flavor from the smoke, no seasoning. I'm not impressed. Kinda feel misled by the reviews, but if this is all the people around this area have had, they have nothing to compare it to, so they don't know better. If you want some good no no no AWESOME BBQ, take a day trip to Salisbury and look up the Smoke Pit!

If you’re craving creole cajun Louisiana flavors, this will hit the spot.
Service is wonderful! They’re so sweet and kind. Very attentive and helpful.
The steamed clams and mussels were really good. The broth with the bread, so yummy. Texture of the shellfish was great, well cooked. The chowder was super flavorful, a must get. We would do it without the bread bowl next time though. Shrimp and grits - get them. Just order them. They were so good. Perfect cheesy grits with the amazing sausage flavors and plumb shrimp. Soo good. Fish and chips were actually good. Fish was fried nicely. Not a greasy taste. Love fries like this, where they have the crispy coating on the outside. Cajun lobster pasta was my favorite dish of the night. Would absolutely eat this again! Lobster was slightly a workout to get all out, but all together the flavors were so great and well seasoned. Bouillaroast was as expected. Seafood in it was cooked really well though! We were so full but managed to taste the beignets, would skip them next time. The bread pudding was really good though, it was warm and tasty!
Parking - big free parking lot and garage for this huge strip mall plaza. You just gotta walk around the corner to find their front doors

Our food came out so fast, I couldn’t believe how quick it was ready. The ribs and burnt ends just melt in your mouth, the meat was sooo tender and delicious; the smoky housemade sauce was perfect for the ribs too. The half rack of ribs with a side of mac and cheese and burnt ends added on, plus the hush puppies it comes with, was $30 and it filled me up so fast. I had plenty of leftovers. The mac and cheese was super creamy too, no dry mac here. The queso was really good too, I thought it tasted a bit salty after a while but still really good. Great service! Recommended BBQ to hit that soul food craving 👌🍖

My wife and I tried out Huddle House in Ruston, LA for the first time today! We ordered the MVP Breakfast 🍳🍖🍞, which came with 2 farm-fresh eggs (we got them over medium), crispy hashbrowns, a golden waffle, biscuits, and sausage gravy. She went with the applewood smoked bacon 🥓, and I chose the country sausage patties. 🥞 The food was good overall, but it came out a bit cold 🥶❄️. The waitresses were super friendly, though, and that made the experience even better.
The place had an old-school, mom-and-pop vibe 🕰️✨—not the cleanest, but cozy in a way that’s different from the big corporate chains. If you like a nostalgic diner style, this spot has it. 👌

BBQ was pretty good considering it was still readily available at 8PM. I ordered the combo meal with ribs, brisket, sausage and Carolina pork. Brisket and pork were nice but the ribs and sausage weren’t that great. Smoke flavor was very subtle. The sides made up for it though. The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious, and the barbecue beans were really tasty as well (although the beans were sweeter than I’m used to). Nice selection of beers on tap. Will have to compare with other bbq places in the area but I would still come back. I don’t think I’ll be getting the ribs again though. Service was nice, good atmosphere as well.

The food was fantastic, I didn't notice many other servers and as a result I think our server had more tables than she should have so I get her taking a while to get to us with drinks and checks. But she was very nice. All in all I would recommend them for sure. They seem to really be set up for tables of 4 or less.

Biscuit Love Gulch exceeded my expectations! We were lucky to arrive at a time when the wait was short, which was a pleasant surprise given its popularity. Once seated, we were treated to an incredible breakfast that truly lived up to the hype. The biscuits were fluffy and delicious, and the portions were hearty enough to keep us satisfied throughout the day.
I tried their famous "Bonuts," and they were a perfect mix of sweet and savory—definitely a must-try! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to start your day. The staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. If you’re in Nashville, don’t miss out on Biscuit Love Gulch; it’s worth every bit of the hype! I can’t wait to return and try more of their tempting menu items. Highly recommended!

When we first arrived, the line was out the door. It didn't take too long to get in. Once on the inside, you order your food and then be seated. We opted to sit outside. The staff was friendly. Clean environment. Food came fast & hot. Great place if you're visiting. Lots of other places around to walk to after brunch.

As soon as I arrived, cook goes on break. Which left the waitress to cook my order. Food was not good, probably would have been better if she could've stayed off her phone. Served my food and got my beverage. cook is still on break, waitress disappears. Finished eating what I could, then had to go into parking lot to hunt waitress down so I could pay my ticket. She was out in her vehicle on the phone. Absolutely worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Brought my son here this morning for his birthday and even though it was busy our waitress Lee Lee made sure she was attentive to all her customers. Kept a positive attitude the whole time and in the fast paced business I know how hard it can be because I used to be a waitress but she definitely stayed positive and made sure my son enjoyed his birthday meal heal. We will definitely be back again.

The cons first, tables were really close and the food was warm but not hot. With that being said, the biscuits and sausage were really yummy, flaky and creamy sauce on top. Bonus was the fresh squeezed juice. I added cheese to my eggs. Purchased a biscuit pullover too. Worth the price, good food near my hotel. Will return.

Our last meal in Nashville was at Another Broken Egg Cafe! They had a gluten friendly menu, the staff was knowledgeable (told us the hashbrowns were in a shared fryer) and the portions were generous!
This by FAR was the best omelette I’ve ever had in my life! The crunchy chorizo and creamy cream cheese was incredible!!

This was me and my husbands favorite restaurant we went to while on our trip. The food was phenomenal, I have to recommend the fried green tomatoes. The outdoor seating with live music was also so amazing. The service was a 15/10. We will be going here again on our next trip!

Creamy Crab Soup - wife said it was the best ever! (I have a shellfish allergy, so I didn't try it)
Candied bacon that came on her salad was tasty!
Fish of the day (Corvina) on a sandwich was really good too, blackened!!!

This is the second time I was overcharged, because of inconsistencies with your waitresses. The wait to get this order corrected was way too long. I just had to get that part to go. My pancakes were a little rubbery. My seating was sandwiched in between 2 other parties tables. Hopefully, you can see that in the pictures.
My precocious visit i was charged 37.00 for breakfast for substations that normally doesn't cost that much. This time was only an extra 2.29, but that was part of the grandma's breakfast. I'm just not happy with Cracker Barrell right now. I feel like, I should have went somewhere else for those 2 breakfast.

This is a quaint, delicious place to have lunch. We were there just before noon and didn’t have to wait at all. We had the shrimp burgers - delicious! The macaroni and cheese was creamy and yummy. We finished our lunch with a sweet taste of banana pudding!

We LOVE this location so much. So glad for the AC being fixed. Disappointed in seeing people give these amazing folks a 1 star for the heat that they can't control (you knew it was hot before you sat down) lol. Anyway, everyone of them spoke highly of food and staff none the less, people need to realize they are rating the staff and food as well...don't be petty. With that being said, we have NEVER had a bad experience. My family enjoys the friendly environment and fresh cooker food. The current staff has been incredible thank you to each of you. My kids adore yall and so do I.
I came here despite the negative reviews about the AC...and I'm glad I did...when we came the AC was fixed. And we enjoyed our dining experience fully. 😀

Great little dive for comfort food. Had the gumbo, the Cajun sampler, and the brisket sandwich. Excellent food! Okra was ok. Friendly staff. Great location for live music.

The Waylon feels like a home away from home for this Wisconsin native! Great energy, good food and drinks, GREAT live music. Love open mic night!!! The blonde one is a great host and easy on the eyes😉 Josh is a chill and talented bar tender as well. #waylonregular #gopackgo

The waitress was nice, it was her and one other lady working there and there were a decent amount of people there so she was really busy when we were there, but she did good for us. My pancakes were okay

This is the best huddle House I have ever been to in my life and I attended Louisiana Tech University back in 1988! Everyone worked hard everything was clean and no one sat down to breathe once yet they kept a smile on their faces! Please make sure to commend and thank everyone that is working here to serve food graciously and with love and with joy! This is been a great experience and I can't wait to come back thank you for blessing me and my family so! Lee Lee, Kay, , Zion, Liz, Misty, thank you so much for blessing me with your love! A special shout out to Lee Lee who just started but she is doing AWESOME and is SO KIND! Please make sure you recognize her and show her how much she is APPRECIATED! And for the manager KAY, often women of color are not lifted up and recognized, I see you QUEEN and you are doing an EXCELLENT job and Huddle House is LUCKY to have someone like you! 💯🙏🏽💐🌺✨⭐🌟💫💖☮️✝️🕉️⚜️🕊️🛸

Mary was our server and she was so great, she also made sure we left with coffee which was so thoughtful!
The food was pretty good, minus my biscuit. I'm just not a fan of chewier biscuits but I could see the appeal. The gravy was smokey and was nice after I added some extra pepper.
The place was really clean and seemed well cared for.
Overall a good place for breakfast. I'm just regretting not getting the waffle 😅 but the bacon did help make up for that.

I’ve visited Nashville twice, and the first time I wanted to eat here, the line was around the block. They usually have a line, but this time we went after 1 pm, and the wait was only about 10-15 minutes. They have a great system to move people in and out quickly. You order at the counter, and then they seat you.
I was excited for the biscuits, but they weren’t my favorite—kind of dense. However, I still devoured them and even finished my husband’s leftovers. The chicken was outstanding—crispy and juicy. The sausage gravy was excellent; I wish they gave me a huge bowl of it! My husband loved the cheesy grits, and they were generous with the cheese. No disappointment there.
I’m glad I finally got to try it! Be patient because the line moves quickly. The decor is great inside too! Such a cute place.

The food and service was amazing. The cooks got my food out during a lunch rush within 10 minutes and the Maple Butter Taco is my new favorite dish. My server Elizabeth is amazing and very attentive

I believe the cook's name is Roger. Every time me and my daughter go there, he is always in a good mood, always polite to the waitresses, and always cooking 47 things at once with precision and never misses a beat or messes up an order. We will definitely be back on almost a weekly basis because of him. He is awesome

We arrived early, around 8:30 on a Saturday and it was fairly empty, but by the time we left there was a line almost out the door! Food was great, fast and lots of delicious sounding options. I had the lobster hash Benedict, and my wife had the Tiramisu French Toast. We also tried the 1/2 order of Biscuit Beignets which were delicious. They are crispier and a little more dense than a traditional beignets, but tasty.

Great service! Very attentive waitstaff even during a very busy Sunday brunch. The waitlist took about 30 minutes and was within the estimate.
Food was good, especially the smoked salmon benny. Would certainly be back. We were visiting from out of town and love to find a local spot that is well managed.

An absolute must do breakfast spot if you’re in Nashville! The biscuits are deliciously crispy and freshly made! The staff are attentive and very nice! Clean restaurant and bathroom. Love the atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back!

I had the best experience of my entire Manhattan social life thanks to Josh, the bartender. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. I happened to stumble upon this bar by chance, and it’s now my favorite spot in the city. Thank you so much, Josh, for making the night unforgettable

Google reviews brought me here and it did not disappoint. Line to get inside moved quickly on the day I went. The host came out to offer menus and water as we waited to get inside. I thought that was a nice touch. You’ll order, pay and then be seated, not necessarily a fan of paying gratuity before my meal has even started but still …. Atmosphere is casual but nice. Food came out quickly. Tried the bonuts, shrimp & grits, Bloody Mary all good.

We have been coming since EATS opened. Consistently exceptional food, reasonable prices and wonderful team. We would eat here everyday if we lived closer. The jerk chicken is phenomenal. And if you don’t care for that- there is bbq chicken, lemon pepper chicken, etc and pasta to choose from. Their homemade fresh veggies are the very best and range from super healthy to your Southern grandmother’s mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. We love it and can’t say enough. If you haven’t been - you are missing something special.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of seating. I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp, fish and chips and chicken wings. Everything was mid at best. Frozen not fresh. The interior design is vibey, wish the food was better. Also ordered a lychee cocktail, that was bomb

I’m not a proponent of hot or spicy foods but I could not come to Nashville and not try their infamous “hot chicken”.
I popped in here on my way back to the airport and ordered the popular “Princess Biscuit” chicken dish with a side of scrambled eggs w/cheese. I chose to sit outside on the back patio and it was a cool morning, not hot at all.
I let the hostess know that I was new and from out of town, she explained the order of operations to me, I ordered and was seated. Food came out pretty quickly, I did have an Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk with my meal. The chicken surprisingly was not too hot, which worked for me. Pretty good, the eggs were super yummy and way better than I expected. My visit here was good, I’d definitely recommend and definitely come back to try more items when I’m back in town.

Had a wonderful meal with my wife on the crystal river, beautiful view, plenty of wildlife, no manatees. Food was excellent had the blackened grouper and pasta with blackened shrimp, smoked fish dip and gator bites. Drinks were good, the good Karen, skinny dons strawberry margarita and the watermelon social. We went back to the hotel full and happy! April was an excellent server!

Paige and Cookie were the best servers. The shrimp and grits, as well as the fried green tomato sandwich, were excellent. The collard greens were okay. The mac and cheese was too rich for kids.

Great food and ambience. We got the grouper bites, crab filled chicken, Wisconsin cheese curds, clam chowder, pasta, and the cheesecakes. All of them were good. The only drawback was that the chicken was a bit chewy in the crab filled chicken. The grouper bites was a bit more on heavy batter side but overall decent. The pasta was delicious and so was the cheese curds. The ambience was really good with beautiful waterside view. Portions are also good and the waiter was quite accommodating and friendly.

Great water views the staff is friendly enjoyed talking to the host about how his family has history here. Local people here seem very happy to have tourist in their area. Cobb salad deliciously fresh and my husband got the burger he liked it. Curd cheese appetizers was outstanding but got me full quick was a lot. Tasty would come back if in the area.

This place is awesome!! The meat falls apart before you can get it to your mouth, everything has amazing flavor. We got the choose 4 meat platter, pulled pork and brisket . Sweet potato fries are the best I have ever had, house pickles are great as well. And the bacon wrapped jalapenos. Didn’t care too much for hush puppies but I never have.

I chose delivery. Expected time of arrival 2:22 PM . So I jumped in the shower, thinking I had had plenty of time. It was delivered before 1 o’clock and left on the doorstep . I chose a grilled chicken sandwich which was burnt on one side and had no color on the flipside. I usually get bigger french fries. The salad was not crisp, but I ate it anyway. I enjoyed the sweet potato. No condiments for the chicken sandwich was included. I ordered a Hershe chocolate bar with almond Never delivered. I’ve ordered this meal a dozen times and only twice was disappointed. Yesterday was one of the times I was disappointed.

We like the food at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store but sometimes are reluctant to stop because service can be very slow at some restaurants. That was not a problem here. Service was prompt and friendly and the food and atmosphere were each really good.

You have to try this place. It’s a local favorite with jerk chicken and southern sides. Always fresh and on point. And the best part is the price - very fair for what you get. Park at Ponce City market and walk over then when you’re done eating, you can go grab some dessert across the street.

We had a fantastic lunch at the Backyard. From the moment Paul took us out to a table, answering our questions and chatting about many things, concluding with chef Steve seeking our honest input about the dishes, we had a great time.
We ordered two appetizers: She Crab soup and the May River Blue Crab Dip. Both were fantastic but the soup was the best I've had in decades. The grilled flatbread was better than the tortillas with the crab dip. I imagine you could request only the flatbread if you wanted.
For entrees we had the shrimp & grits and the shrimp and wild mushroom cobbler. Both were really good. I had a suggestion about the cobbler and chef Steve took it into immediate consideration. That was amazing!
Unfortunately we were too full to try desert, nor was I able to try the raspberry lemonade moonshine... But they are definitely on my list for our next visit.
I highly recommend you give the Backyard a try. Maybe I'll see you there!

I came here cause I was in the mood for BBQ and I was not let down. This restaurant is clean. The staff is professional and happy. The food came in like 5 seconds after I ordered it. The drinks are delicious. The vibe was relaxing. They have nice bags to take your food home in. And window to walk up to when getting your phone order. There's also outside seating in the shade depending on where the Sun is.
Great experience.
Great experience.

It is an awesome and authentic american restaurant. You can order diverse dishes and enjoy many flavours. Also, while you are waiting for your food to eat in, you can play board games.

We sat outside with live music. It was July and over 100 degrees, but there was plenty of shade and fans circulating the air. I had the shrimp and grits (what they are known for) and it was by the best shrimp I’ve ever had. The seasoning on the shrimp was so good! We got there at 4:50pm and by the time we left there at 5:40pm was a long wait to get into the restaurant. Make sure to get there early!

Food was good. The Mac and cheese were surprisingly tasteful. The chicken was fulfilling and juicy. Not a fan of their bbq sauces though. The pecan pie cobbler was good. My husband had the ribs and said they were just ok. May be back to try other things on the menu.

Good drinks clean the bathroom. They also have an outdoor patio and dog friendly.

Boyfriend and I came to Cracker Barrel before he starts his first day working there! Haven't been to Cracker Barrel in a LONG time and was very excited. We both got the New York Strip medium rare mac and cheese and the steak fries. It was so good I finished my plate! (which I never am able to do) steak was so juicy and tender... I was in heaven 😍 will be coming back for the steaks. Our server was nice and attentive to us, and we were able to find some cool stuff in the gift shop!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! The shrimp and grits my husband got were hands down, the. best. ever. The Mahi Mahi special tonight was also delicious, topped off with a refreshing blackberry lemonade moonshine. Definitely worth the trip for a meal!

Without a doubt, one of the best brunch places in Nashville. Lots of great choices available on the menu. I had the Princess, which had spicy chicken, a biscuit, and an over-easy egg. All of it was fresh and delicious. I washed it down with fresh squeezed orange juice which was perfect. Service was friendly and very efficient, as the food came moments after we were seated. Definitely recommend while in Nashville.

Stopped by based on reviews and was not disappointed! It was very busy when I came around noon. There was an hour wait, but since I was flying solo that day, they actually got me in almost immediately. 1 may be the loneliest number, but it's definitely faster, I guess. Lol
Staff was to the point, but they were definitely not rude. They were obviously busy and turning over a lot of tables. My waiter did provide recommendations, which was nice. I ended up getting the cinnamon roll French toast with sides of eggs and sausage. The eggs didn't have much seasoning, which is fine because I prefer I add my own salt and pepper anyway. The sausage was very tasty but did have quite a bit of gristle. I enjoyed the flavor but wasn't able to finish them due to a slight texture aversion. Not a big deal.
The main course was absolutely decadent. I savored every bite and the flavors of the French toast, toppings, and syrup were all distinct, yet very complimentary. I highly recommend it. But be warned, it is dessert and breakfast in one meal and quite rich.
Overall, it was a very pleasant and delightful experience. I'm glad I stumbled upon it while visiting for the weekend.

First time visiting ....... LOVED IT!!! Definitely worth the drive. The whole vibe was amazing.

My love for seafood and sweets comes from my Dad, and we enjoyed every dish from The Dive Oyster Bar in Temple City, California. ✨Without any explanation, he knew what to do, from the oyster & soft shell crab cheers to slowly spooning up the chowder to making that sauce drip✨
We had: 🦪Taylor Kumamotos (WA, small, meaty, creamy, sweet brothy finish), 🦪Le Petit Bara (PEI/CAN, small, briny, seaweed finish), 🍲Loaded Chowder Bread Bowl (sourdough, New England chowder, cheese, bacon, green onions), 🦀Soft Shell Crab (trio of Cajun spiced soft shell crab, lemon, remoulade), and 🍞Bread Pudding (homemade bread pudding, vanilla ice cream, caramel bourbon, berry compote)

This visit was the result of a quick google weighing local options, a spontaneous lunch jaunt, after a morning of paddleboarding. Lovely view, and the food did not disappoint. Ordered the Royal Floridian cocktail (pictured), the pork "wings" (also pictured), and a smash burger (not pictured, because my husband, well, he smashed it. I had the blackened Mahi tacos, which were perfectly seasoned, and the fries were delightfully crisp. I sense a post-water adventure lunch ritual in my future.

One of my favourite spots from Atlanta. It’s super cozy and casual with cheap food and the best sweet tea. You know it’s good when you see locals coming in and out. Highly recommend!

We were passing through Crystal River and needed somewhere to stop that would be kid friendly! This spot was the perfect place! We sat out on the back patio by the water. It was so nice with the breeze and fans. We ordered a little bit of everything! Clam chowder, crab cakes, smash burger, chicken fingers and pasta! It was all so good! The portion sizes were great too! We will definitely be back!

Food was great. Especially the shrimp and grits. They were willing to make it without cheese. Not everyone does this. They had Kahlua for my coffee. That was huge. Service started out slow but once our server made it to us, she was great. They were having a lot of fun working, which is great, but they could keep up more with the cleaning of tables and providing more immediate service after being seated.

**Restaurant Review: Waterfront Social, Crystal River, FL**
During a recent business trip to Crystal River, FL, I had the pleasure of dining at Waterfront Social. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.
The bar staff deserves special recognition for their outstanding service. They were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction.
One of the highlights of my visit was the superb signature Margarita cocktails. Perfectly balanced and refreshing, these drinks were a testament to the bar staff's mixology skills.
For dinner, I opted for the Grilled Salmon with Jasmine Rice, Veggies, and a Balsamic glaze. The salmon was cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful. Paired with the aromatic jasmine rice and crisp vegetables, the dish was both tasty and fresh, a true delight for the palate.
The atmosphere at Waterfront Social is another noteworthy aspect. The setting is relaxing, casual, and refreshing, enhanced by the gorgeous waterfront sunset views. It is the perfect place to unwind and end a long workday while traveling for business.
In summary, Waterfront Social in Crystal River, FL, offers an impeccable dining experience with its attentive bar staff, delicious cuisine, and serene atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, whether for business or leisure.

I’ve never had a bad experience with Cracker Barrel; however, the service + the food quality were definitely below standard. Went for dinner and took over 20 minutes to get Sweet tea. The tea finally arrived yet unsweet. Taking 15 more minutes to get unsweet yet again (no biggie),however, the smothered medium temp hamburger steak ordered arrived 1) cooked to death 2) with a splash of congealed gravy and 3) a few pieces of okra also with congealed Mac n cheese. To top off this amazing meal there was no clean silverware so we were provided plastic utensils.

The music is soooooooo loud!!!! I litterally could not hear myself think let alone listen to the people I was with talking. 80s blasting while people are trying to have a convo and dinner is not ideal…. We sat at the bar and I could not hear my fiancé taking.… My in-laws have come here quite a few times, but stopped prior to the new owners being here. The food was good, Queso just OK, burger also OK… But they have to figure out something between the food and the music… Bartender was busy talking, and not paying attention to us at all. I know it’s slow and there’s not much to do but we were ready to close out for 25 minutes and she was off talking someone in a shirt that looked like he worked here..
I get restaurants in vacation towns - I’m from one. But that makes it more important to keep high standards when it’s just the locals around.

We left a terrible experience that we had at Banner Elk Cafe and landed here unexpectedly. The food was delivered in less than 10 mins!! The bartender made some great cocktail recommendations and was very friendly and efficient!! The food was delicious!! We cannot wait to come back for date night and enjoy the outdoor stage and ambiance!

Blake, what an amazing server! So attentive, patient and kind. By far, the best server I have had the pleasure of meeting in eons. Food was spot on and came out quickly. My friend and I split the enormous salad with crawfish and shrimp 🍤 🦐 , a side of fried okra (the best I’ve ever eaten) and the scrumptious greens. Bartender gals were so nice too, especially on a busy Saturday Memorial Day Weekend. Thanks y’all for the memories!!

Great place for Cajun creole!!
Excellent service by the staff, mainly from Achilles and another lovely lady I did not get a chance to catch her name.
I went during the happy hour (3pm-6pm Monday to Friday) so of course I took advantage of the fresh oysters, cup of clam chowder and grilled cheese with pan roast soup.
Entree wise, we ordered their traditional house pan roast (with habanero spice level), with a side of deep fried soft shell crab.
I honestly think everything must be tried at least once because they had great flavors. The clam chowder is full of seafood flavor with not too much heavy cream.
The deep fried soft shell came in 6pcs total (3 pcs cut in half) with the tartar sauce to cut the oil. It was so soft I didn't feel like sharing with my partner.
The traditional pan roast with rice was full of proteins, I can't avoid it every time I take a bite. The spice was perfect but if not too intense ( for me) to continue eating.
I sat at the bar section to have the best access to alcohol and did not get disappointed. Never had an empty glass and loved the background music.

Cozy brunch restaurant. It quite the hot spot so making a reservation or getting in line online is recommended. The menu has plenty of options. Although it isn’t listed on the menu online, I’m glad they had chicken sausage. We ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and it was FINGER LICKING GOOD. The blueberry lemon pancakes were tasty as well. Now the scrambled eggs tasted like a substitute or something. The texture and taste were a little off. This is my second time at this location, and whenever I’m in town I’ll always come to visit.

Wonderful food, atmosphere, and service!! Best shrimp and grits EVER!!! Moonshine flight was great, too. Tomato sandwich w pimento was perfection as well as the homemade key lime pie!

We stopped before we were heading out of Charleston on a busy Saturday and service from the host, server and food coming out was consistent and fast.
Shelby our server was nice, friendly, attentive and happy to answer any questions or make any suggestions. She checked on us often and our order came out promptly.
It had been a while since we stopped at a Cracker Barrel and it was a good stop for sure!

Great food!!! Quick on the go type of dining experience. It's definitely a local gem. The lemon pepper chicken is delicious!

We got there but had to wait to be seated. Several people backed up but the hostess forgot we were first and sat another party of 3 before us. Not a problem since we were all being seated one right after the other but she should have been more aware. Once seated we had a great waitress and loved our time. The food was excellent all three of us counted on how good the food tasted. Great place! Will return if ever in Crystal River again.

Undoubtedly a super nice place to spend with the family.
Our food was delicious, hot and on time.
It really is quite an experience. We had a little resistance because we thought it was like other places where they sell pancakes (I won't say the name) but it is definitely super different.
I would also like to add, your employee Brad is the nicest person I have ever met there. Please, if you go on Sunday, I really wish you to be served by Brad, I am sure he will make you have a very nice time. I wish Cracker Barrel had many more employees like him.

Brooke took excellent care of us. Cold beer to the rescue. We shared a huge plate of chicken nachos.
And cudos to the owners for the ladies restroom remodel. We visited last year and the new floor tile is some of the best I have seen . And I have seen a lot. I sell houses

Located in a corner strip mall, parking is always a hassle here even with the underground lot. Everything felt and tasted mediocre. The menu is geared towards Cajun style flavors, but it’s not very authentic. The tables were super close to each other and it was very loud. They have a small bar and a few TVs spread out. I had been wanting to try this place for a while and I’m sadly disappointed. I may try out their happy hour menu though. The jambalaya is more creole and although I love tomatoes, there were so much of them just to add volume to the dish. The texture of the rice was all over the place and the roux was pretty watery. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday evening and only one cook, it took forever to get our entrees. The Mac and Chowder was not worth it, bacon topped macaroni and cheese in a sourdough bread bowl with just a hint of chowder.

What a cute little place right on the water! The people were friendly and the service was amazing!
The view over the bay was absolutely beautiful and magical.
We enjoyed the coconut shrimp, onion rings, fish and chips, and the fried shrimp. The mango sauce which came with the coconut shrimp was the star of the evening. It was definitely spicy for those who are sensitive to heat. But the bite of spice was not too overwhelming for the regular palate.
The drinks were super delicious and word of caution: they sneak up on you. 😁

If you want a place for a quick brew and fries, hit this place up. Nice and easy, comfy vibes, and a patio in back. Great spot.

Love this spot for happy hour oysters! Only $1.25 per oyster! Cute spot, food comes out fast.

The hot wings and fries were the best. Everything was delicious and fresh. The service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be back soon.

The catfish was fabulous. The steak was really good. Prices are about like any other nice place to eat. Will for sure be going back. The wait staff was good and kept drinks full. Or was a semi busy evening. The music is good and not too loud. They have a pool table. They gave a neat general store attached. I love to shop while I wait on my food. You can have a drink at the bar or get a table. The bathroom was very clean. We really liked it there. My grandson at and colored and really enjoyed himself too.

Greenbay Packers, country music, tex-mex, great staff. Indoor and outdoor (covered and heated) seating. Came here to drink with fellow fans before the game💚💛🏈

Great tasting seafood!!! Loved the fried crab. My husband absolutely loved how they cooked these!! Awesome atmosphere and kind service. Looking forward to coming back to this eating establishment.

Woohoo Green Bay Packers bar with sound on! Love the relaxed and spacious vibe of this place, bartenders are attentive. No table service so order at the bar. GET THE CHEESE CURDS! Omg they are legit and pieces of heaven. Friendly crowd on game day, and there is more garden space outside (with a tv). Can't comment on the live music yet, but happy to come back and enjoy the games!

Just for reference, I'm a northerner that wanted to try Southern food and my niece recommended Eats. I had the Lemon Chicken combo that came with rice, beans and cornbread. The chicken was prepared well, but not a lot of flavor, the rice and beans were fine (when doused with hot sauce) and the cornbread was so dry I couldn't eat it. Again maybe because I'm a Yankee, but I wasn't impressed.

A fun country bar to mix it up in the city! We got the queso, the burger, and the spicy chicken sandwich - all were delicious. The live music started at 9, which was definitely more Woodland/Americana banjo vibes than true country, but still very enjoyable. Service was great and everyone was super friendly!

We ate here today after seeing it on Google. I have to say the fried chicken and cornbread were the best I've had in a very long time. The staff was amazing and so caring. Everyone played with my 1 year old daughter and they even brought her a chicken leg of her own. Would definitely recommend!! ❤️

This was the biggest and best fried mullet I've had since I moved up here 23 years ago.
Off the beaten path in Port St Joe. But extremely clean and well-kept business. Super friendly owner.
Shrimp and Mullet or just Mullet, mine was 2 for one... I didn't expect them to be as large.
Fried to perfection. Cole slaw was great. Frence fries were crispy.
Best kept secret in Port St Joe.

Love the happy hour and food here. They play sports on the TV too. The environment was welcoming. Lights aren't that bright or too dim.
Happy hour is from Monday to Friday 3pm to 630pm, Friday to Saturday starting at 10pm, and Saturday and Sunday $6 bottomless mimosas with entree from 12pm to 3pm.
I've tried the house pan roast, cioppino, gumbo, and all the oysters. Every dish was delicious. Gumbo was good, although I've had better. Note: if you want to order oysters during happy hour, make sure you ask which types are on happy hour since only certain ones are on the HH menu. I didn't know this and had to pay the price.
Customer service is good. Parking is free in the parking lot or in the parking structure.

Food was Great, our server Zach was Excellent. Nice atmosphere, we ate outside, weather was perfect. We had VooDoo pasta, they did not have Parmesan cheese so My husband said it was a little blind but still good. I had BLT cheeseburger with fries , burger was cooked perfect and it was delicious. The Sweet tea is good.

If you are passing this place up because of its location, you are making a mistake. Owners and family and employees are so welcoming. The food was exactly what I wanted and needed it to be. Delicious soul food.

I absolutely love their food! Seasoned to perfection, always HOT and FRESH! Call ahead to order because they are pretty busy. The Cafe really lives up to its name, "Cozy" Cafe. The staff is always very nice and the owner is very personable, he greets everyone!! If you are looking for down to earth people to serve you with a smile, a cozy place to eat, and great food and a family friendly environment for all, this is THE PLACE!! ENJOY...

Campy western decor and a Fordham flag surround a bar and row of picnic type tables. The bar was busy which slowed down table service during the happy hour. The waitstaff appeared after the happy hour ended. There is live entertainment and a nice if loud relaxed vibe. That vibe and the staff make the place.
The food is "mid" aa the kids say. Tex-Mex fare that is incredibly bland. The average queso can save the meal. Fresh corn tortilla chips with guacamole, beans or queso are your best bet. Everything else takes a while. The happy hour drinks are all ice.

We used to go here all the time 10-13 years ago when my wife and I were dating and when we were single before then. The menu has remained the same and consistently good. We like the Pasta bar but we love the meat and veggies bar. Our favourite is Jerk Chicken and the Turkey Meatloaf. Our sides are green beans, black eyed peas, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. All the dishes with their nice corn bread.

First time visitor and we will definitely be back. The fried chicken, best I have had. Grouper... Absolutely killer! Greens, Mac and cheese, green beans, cornbread....it is like Sundays at my grandma's house. The owner and his family are very nice, very welcoming. I can't wait to go back and try the catfish!

We stumbled upon this wonderful little restaurant and had a wonderful dinner. It was so good we went back a few days later.
I had the chicken fried steak special, and it was the best I have EVER eaten! And I’ve had a lot in my life.
The brisket was very tasty, and the barbecued pork was delicious.
The beer list had a number of great brews on draft and in cans.
Zack, our waiter, went out of his way to be sure our meals were perfect, so we asked for him on our second visit. It was a busier night since it was Friday, but he still managed to take great care of our table.
The MLB playoff game was on TV during our first visit, and the guys at the bar were very excited and a little loud. It was back to normal for our second visit.
When you are in Banner Elk, try the Bayou Smokehouse. You won’t be disappointed.

Stopped by here in search of seafood during a work trip…delicious! Had various kinds of oysters to start off, and then had the Bouillabaisse since I’m a big fan of saffron. All the seafood inside tasted amazing, and I’d definitely come back to try some of their other pan roasts.

STUNNED........AVOID!!
.........After coming here consistently for 20 plus years I just experienced something that stunned me and may make me never want to come here again!! There is a new mural on the outside and new merchant machine; Iced Tea glasses are half the size they normally are but those a ok changes. Today, after ordering and tipping 25%, as I usually do, the tall, guy who wears a stocking hat normally is always very nice and friendly. Today he just ignored me and my order. Four people behind me in line, received their orders and were seated and eating, while I was still awaiting my simple order. Typically when I order,I take 3 steps to the left and my food is usually waiting before I can put my wallet back in my pocket.
I approached the slow moving tall guy who has been there for a long time. I mentioned the name on my order and he looked at me and said "Nobody works here by that name". and went back to completing the to go order of someone who ordered after me. I spoke up and said I am a customer and told him my name.
I told him bunch of people behind me already received their orders. He just said "hold on brother, it's coming". I Waited and he continued to ignore me. I Requested a refund and was on my way out. The lady at the register didn't even bother to ask the talk man about my order or inquire about it on my behalf and just said ok her is your refund, sorry.
Stunned I walked out wondering what the hell happened to my favorite place on Ponce. This is kinda weird but I felt like I had been disowned by my family. Not sure what happened but things seem different. Certainly the attitude of this one tall guy has changed. It's a shame. I have probably tipped him collectively over $500 since I usually tip a flat $5 on top of my order.
MY PREVIOUS review which is NOT accurate any longer is below .
Faster than fast food!!! Atlanta institution! This restaurant has been around for decades and doesn't disappoint. 90% of the time this food comes out quicker than at McDonald's. The thing I really like about eats menu is its basic and it comes out so fast that I didn't even finish paying before it was plated. It's great for a quick bite or the linger. The jerk chicken is to die for the lasagna is super awesome. It's super clean staff is friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant. Oh and it's quite reasonable!!

This is a pretty amazing find in Port St Joe. Good old fashioned southern cooking. We had the baked and fried chicken. Both super yummy. We also ordered the mashed potatoes, black eyed peas and the max&cheese (basically all the sides for the day😜). All were good as well. They have a different menu every day. Can’t wait to try them all. Also they are one of the few places open late and excited to go check the night crowd at the cafe.
