We enjoyed shopping during the after Christmas sales events. We saved on a good amount of items.
This is our first time in Asheville and we wanted a hiking experience. This did not disappoint. Adam was our guide and he was fantastic. Called us ahead of time to see exactly what we wanted to see and explore . Any limitations, restrictions or questions we may have before we even met . Great communication from beginning to end with Adam. Adam had lots of knowledge of the trail and all the falls we explored. Highly recommended this tour and Adam he was fantastic
Great outdoor premium shopping area, good deals available too. Bit of an odd layout (triangle) but free provided maps and directories help with this. Found the area very clean and safe-feeling too. There is also a small food court.
We came for a pre-christmas vacation and took a shopping trip. The customer service was fantastic and the staff was very helpful. We ended up coming back again for more items.

It was magical 2 days of hiking. ✨ Being in the mountains is an absolute joy .. the magnificent sights and cool breeze is a cherry on top! 😅 loved the great smoky mountains and Pisgah national forests :))

More 50 percent off started today. We didn’t know so were lucky😏 staffs were friendly and helpful. Every time we come to Reno, we stop by. You can find something. Parking is small but you can find street parking easily.
I am so thrilled that I booked a guided hike with Blue Ridge Hiking Company. It was my first time to Asheville and as a solo traveler, I really wanted to experience the beauty of the mountains safely. Melissa G was such a wonderful guide. She was thoughtful and accommodating when I expressed that I wanted some alone time on the hike to just soak in all the beauty. I was thankful that transportation was provided and felt very safe knowing I was with someone who knew the area well. I especially appreciate how Melissa curated my hiking experience based on my hiking ability and my desire to see a variety of scenery on the hike. She even provided a delightful snack for us to enjoy during our day. If you’re planning a trip to Asheville, I highly recommend getting a guided hike through Blue Ridge Hiking Company. I opted for the half-day morning hike and it was the perfect dose of nature on my short weekend trip. The price was reasonable especially for the peace of mind for a solo, female traveler. I truly enjoyed spending my day with Melissa and will absolutely book this hike again in the future!

We had a great time hiring a tandem kayak on a Monday morning. Great staff including a Scotsman who was knowledgeable about the area and very attentive.
Bought an inflatable hobie from them. Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Most definitely going back to them for all of our water-sports needs!

I highly recommend Blue Ridge Hiking, and especially guide Heidi Nesbit, for newbie or seasoned backpackers who wish to have guide support. I enjoyed her guiding efforts so much last year that I came back this year and plan to come back next year. They/she goes out of their way to prepare the hiker from shakedown to hydration/food and trail. Heidi is a top tier person as well as a guide. And don’t forget the Trail-er option before and or after the hike. Lastly, a strong thank you to the Trail-er host, AJ. He is a fantastic individual and hiker, with an FKT to his credit.

Nice outlet mall. I'm disappointed about no dogs in the stores. We were on our way out of town and made it difficult to shop. Most outlets allow dogs in the stores.

We went for river rafting. This is great place for families. If you looking for hard core rafting this is not it but an amazing place for families. Our guide was super nice and very knowledgeable.

Found the Blue Ridge Hiking Co. on google and the reviews are spot on. We booked a private hiking session and they did not disappoint! Loved the personalization of the hike to what we wanted to see and our fitness levels. Our guide Adam was personable, shared his extensive knowledge of plants along the way and was prepared with everything we needed! He knows the trails very well which made us very comfortable! We will definitely book another hiking session and you should definitely do it…beginner or expert you won’t regret it and ask for Adam!
It was super hot when we went shopping, however many water mist fans were providing relief from the hot weather. The stores are clean and well stocked. Customer service overall was great. It's a big place and you can download the map to get your bearings. Being an outlet mall, the prices were lower than regular stores. There's a food court with enough variety to satisfy most shoppers. A nice experience overall.
Hiking with Jennifer Pharr Davis and Brew was an incredible experience! They led a trip for us in Hot Springs and I loved it! The way they incorporate life lessons into their stories and conversations really enhances the time. They offered challenge hikes as well as chill hikes depending on each hikers wants and needs for each day. They are the best!
Super helpful and friendly employees. They were knowledgeable about the PFDs I was looking for, and even directed me towards the sale rack! Great selection of kayaks, SUPs, accessories and clothing. They also do rentals. I'll be back for sure when my kiddos grow out of their jackets..

I bought a new bike in this place and when I got home I found out the front wheel is completely loose and took it back and the person in charge of the bicycle said is good so I took it back home an when I was trying to ride it the wheel was bad again and I took it back to them to return it and they said they can't take it back because the 24 hour retur policy now they got me waiting for almost 2 weeks for mi almost 900 dollars bike they did a bad job ensambling the bike and I had to pay for they mistakes is not fear
Called and reserved a raft for a trip with family from out of town. I've rented raft packages from all the local shops with mostly no issues. When I called to confirm the details I was told not only did they not even have the boat that I was promised, but the young lady who took my reservation just filled in whatever raft they did have. 3 days before the trip we are left with no boat. Ive frequented this business for raft supplies and other gear over the years but theyve lost me after this experience. Take your business to Denny at McCu's, Boise State Rec, or Cascade river gear.

This place has some GREAT deals on Patagonia items. Prices are good and sizes are available, but inventory is a bit limited.

Good store, clean, etc. But 95% of it was clod weather clothes. Not much at all when it comes to shirts, backpacks, gear, etc.

I also know that their products are Top Notch! I have made the aquaintance of several of their employees; they cannot say enough good about Patagonia.

I'm very disappointed. Shops were very expensive. The outlets are normally where you get your discounted goods from but nothing cheaper here. On the plus side it was very clean lots of nice shops but very quiet. I think covid had a big impact on prices.
They took care of me and replaced my gloves that had a hole in them free of charge.
They also have some amazing sales so keep on the lookout. All the staff are amazing including the onsite security.

Had plenty of deals for my wife, however if you are a larger man as I am, there was very little you could choose. But the store was very clean and the employees were very apologetic for the lack of larger clothes.

My friends and I had an empowering experience with Blue Ridge Hiking company and Heidi Nisbett as our guide. She is extremely knowledgeable of all aspects of backpacking on the AT as well as the flora and fauna of the mountains. She explained how to set up and break down tents, use a sterno stove, collect and filter water, and even how to dig a cat hole ☺️ This all women trip is highly recommended for women who really want to learn backcountry camping in a safe, enjoyable manner. Early May was perfect for wild flower viewing in North Carolina, and Heidi knew the names of all of them!
Completely outdoors so you're exposed to the elements in winter and summer. Variety of stores both low and high end. A lot more high end stores at this outlet compared to the south outlet.
I've asked my wife to not let me back into this store... Lol. Friendly staff, and great gear. Look around and you are sure to find a great deal. We love wearing our Patagonia gear while out adventuring. You just can't beat the warranty and they offer repairs! I am excited for my next coastal camping trip with my Storm 10 Jacket.
Mo was amazing! They are very helpful, they also have little docks where the customer can enter the specific type of gender, sneaker brand, style, and the specific sport the sneaker is for, in our case, it was cleated sneakers to play soccer as a birthday gift for my best friends nephew. ⚽️ We were greeted and directed properly, purchased the gift, and given a gift receipt. We definitely had a five-star experience.

I too had an issue with checking out...the young man would rather talk to the other check out girl then ring my merchandise up. Then couldn't wait to go back and stand next to her and talk while there was still a line of people. Young man just lacked basic customer service skills and seemed to rather be somewhere else
My experience was good, just had to take a gift back to exchange the size. The employees was very helpful. I was assisted by two workers, one as I entered the store and the another while I was searching for the correct size. Great service as usual.
Went in for a repair on the zipper and pocket of my winter jacket worried I might have to leave it for weeks. They were able to just get it done for me super quick while I waited. Very happy with the price and the customer service. They also have lots of great gear. I didn’t pick up anything today but I think that’s the first time I’ve managed to leave without adding to my outdoor gear collection.

Stopped by this place just to buy a long sleeved t-shirt when I got chilly on the lake one evening. But they wanted $70 for a just a basic tshirt with their store logo on it!!! No thanks!

We purchased a kayak from Great Lakes Gear Exchange and they wee just wonderful! Nils is so knowledgeable and experienced, and patient in answering all our questions. Everyone there is so nice.we picked up some great deals in other gear, and they even gave us a lesson and tips in properly tying the kayak before we left. They treat customers like friends. We’ll be back every time we visit Duluth. Great store!
Never have my size in mens. I'm a medium or large. They have an overstock of xs, sm then xl xxl. One would wonder to order MORE of the popular sizes but no...

Great place with friendly staff. A little pricey but you really don't have a choice if you want brand new stuff. Has everything a scout would need from clothes, to patches, to books, to gear. A little hard to find from GPS. It is hidden in the back and not easily visible from the road.

Incredible sale happening right now. I just scored this supa-fly Patagonia Backcountry jacket and pants. So stoked. The staff is rad and so friendly. The store is always organized, neat, clean. Patagonia is a dope company. You can drop off old great and they will refurbish and sell it for pennies on the dollar. You can also get anything repaired, whenever, which is awesome. How many companies do this?!

Great Lakes Gear Exchage is a fantastic place to find outdoors essentials. I always start here because the prices are so reduced and the gear is only gently worn. Plus buying used is better for the environment. The staff helped us find a backpack that fits well and we picked up a cooler and a very high quality double sleeping bag that normally retails for hundreds of dollars.

The most professional and friendly place! I stopped in randomly to inquire about a paddle board and lesson and they couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. A big thank you to Bailey who came in on her day off to give me the best lesson and teach me how to paddle board! Again, the nicest people, a great shop, and dog friendly (Loki loved all the attention)!!! I will be sure to visit every summer! Thanks Idaho River Sports!!!
This store is a disaster. Alejandra does not know how to do her job. She couldn't figure out how to see how much was on a gift card. So she scanned a random item and then processed the sale. After 20 minutes trying to get a refund back on the card for they finally figured that out. Then when I went to make purchases at the 60% off sale she couldn't figure out how to discount so she told me the price changed. We were about to spend well over 200 dollars but we're so frustrated with the terrible service we just walked out. Either there is a problem with training or management. Either way don't waste your time
Nice collection and great deals on shoes and jackets. However, the sales representatives were no help though. There were two ladies who were busy talking and many times I implied that I needed help but they just pointed. Then I specifically asked for something and one of them came and literally ran away in a second. For the first time I ever saw such a complete disregard of customers.
I might be biased cause I work here but OA is a wonderful place, there's a whole lot of really amazing gear rentals and classes/trips that you can take. Love the outdoors and OA is pretty much my gateway to get there.
The store was extremely busy on a Sunday night at 7 pm. And they had hardly any boots to pick from none were in my size. Very frustrating. On a positive note, they did have really good prices on some sweaters and jackets.
The staff is very helpful and it is very well stocked. If you do have any questions about holiday hours, it might be best just to email them directly and they will answer you.

Nice store , nice clothes and sneakers but service is nonexistent. I was looking to by all new gym clothes and stopped huto get sneakers first . I saw 3 employees in sneaker area and 1 other customer the store was basically empty. Well long story short someone asked if they could help me then proceeded to say hold on and left me waiting 15-20min. Then came back and left again. Then came back talking to other coworkers then finally brought me the sneakers I asked for.
And disappeared immediately those sneakers were not the correct size.
....blah blah blah...waited another 15 20 min before I saw him helping someone else. And left to take my business elsewhere.

Big fan of this location! Huge selection for a small store, because they pack it in! Women's section has a lot to offer! Love the pricing, sometimes they have extra percentage off sale prices! Staff is very helpful.
I really love Columbia stuff and this is a pretty good one BUT, the discounts were tiny! Seriously not good discounts at all. Only 20% on a lot of the jackets which are $100 plus. I have seen way better prices in other branches. Lovely stuff, way too expensive.
Really good selection of all the scout stuff one would expect. In addition a fair selection of outdoor equipment, probably has most of what a scout needs as a starter. Friendly staff and good opening hours. Would liked to have seen more t-shirt etc.
