Horrible staff they don’t know ppls rights and don’t respect the 1st amendment especially Nicole the sargeant
They're able to accommodate all of my questions and guide me to the process that I needed to take to become a member of the US Marine Corps. They go above and beyond to give me reassurance, motivation, and accurate essential information. They're very approachable and friendly when I went to this center, would highly recommend.
The people at this recruiting office are not friendly to the public who are seeking information about their services. I.e. recruiting process, requirements and so on. Not a good look. To bad, as curious member of the public, No common courtesy or transparency from these uneducated individuals. Just pathetic..
Capt Harper, SSgt Amaya, and Mr. Martinez have gone above and beyond to help me and my fellow applicants complete the application process, especially considering my busy job schedule and sometimes inability to make it into the office due to work constraints. Capt Harper is a Pace University alumni and therefore understands first-hand the tempo of living in New York City as a current or former college student. This is evident as he and the rest of the staff at the office are accommodating, yet still very strict in upholding the standards expected of Marine Officer applicants. I trust that when this current staff at the Manhattan OSO rotate out and are replaced by new Marines and civilians, the quality attention to applicants’ success will carry over as well.
(OSO) Captain Harper as well as (OSA) Ssgt Amaya are great recruiters who actively interact with all of the candidates and give all of the information needed to succeed. I personally have had an amazing time throughout this process!

This is the best ARMY office that you can go to, you won't find a better place to grow and do all your process to joining the military, I couldn't wish a better recruiter than the SGT Martinez, she help me out to get the MOS that I wanted, the required documents to get the citizenship, and a bunch of benefits that you can't even imagine. Consistently professional service from all Marines present including Capt. Harper, SSgt. Amaya, and both LTs. I've been in contact with this office since 2019 and have always been treated with respect, professionalism, and understanding. Even when it was clear I was not ready to begin the officer selection process or as prepared as I should have been.

Captain Harper and all the staff have all been extremely helpful in the application process for OCS. Professional, helpful and standup individuals in helping others. I have been nothing but impressed by their willingness to prepare me for future steps since I first met with them and encourage others to reach out.

Great experience! Everyone was so helpful throughout the whole process. I got all my questions answered and my favorite part was that I didn’t feel like they were trying to convince me to join the army. Instead, they educated me and provided all the tools I needed to help make my decision.

My experience with the OSO (Capt. Harper) and the current team has been positive so far. I did not only get help (unlike other branches) but I also got to proceed forward with the application and entire process to become a USMC Officer.

If your looking to join the Army I highly recommend coming here. This recruitment center was extremely helpful and professional. I want to shout out SSG Owuo as he's hands down the reason my recruitment pricess was both quick and easy. He helped to prepare me both physically and mentally.

SSgt Esteves is my hero. The dude keeps it real 24/7. Even looking at this page, no one has done it better or kept it more real than him. The Corps must keep this man, in our ranks, and in our Corps. He will always be honest with you even if you don’t want to hear it. 10/10 would recommend the Marines. The few. The proud. The Marines.

Cannot even go up and take a look around a Recruiting station, was told they are too busy having a meeting. Must be new policy. Signed up here almost 38 years ago and never came back for a visit. Found some time today and are no longer welcome.
I am so glad I decided to go to the Washington heights recruiting office because everyone in the office always had a positive attitude as well as helped me with any concerns and questions I had. They truly made the process to become a soldier easier for me with great advice along the road and their sense of urgency and responsibility. Thank you for taking care of me and making sure I was in great hands. Honestly has been a pleasure working with you guys.

My sister joined the Army last year through this recruiting office, and I have to say, everyone is extremely pleasant and professional. It's a nice environment and the staff ( veteran's) are informative and actually seem to care for the people they recruit. I highly recommend this office and I also recommend any of the recruiting officers. My sister is doing great and she's pleased with the service this office provided. They stay in-touch too!
Recently accompanied my son on his visit to the Lindenhurst Marine Corps Recruiting Station. Sgt Bertolino and the young Marines assigned there could not have been more helpful in guiding my son through his first visit. Follow up in a few days with necessary paperwork. Thank you for your Service

Great office, all the recruiters there are knowledgeable, friendly, caring and hardworking. I can’t say enough good things about them. They’ll go out of their way to help you become a marine. They’re always there, mornings, late nights, and weekends ready to help you. You have a question? You can always reach them, someone is always there to help whether it’s at the office or over the phone!

I enjoyed my experience here. The staff is very professional and exhibit all the expected characteristics of the members of the military. Everyone is approachable and are always ready to disseminate any needed information relating to joining. There is absolutely no pressure in terms of your respective choices relating to when you the ASVAB and and when you go to MEPS. They all will work closely with you to facilitate your success .
I haven't quite been here for as long as others have been, but what I can say is that this place is truly amazing. As soon as you walk through the doors you feel at home. Everyone is super friendly and very welcoming. Motivation here is most important, and everyone pushes each other to become better. I am proud to say that I form part of this recruiting station.
At the age of 14, I knew without a shadow of a doubt I wanted to join the US military to serve a higher purpose. After much research I knew that I wanted to be the best and the US marines was what I wanted to join. I had been to many recruiters throughout high school and many hadn't struck me in a way that made me why to work with them. After graduating high school, I was passing this station and on a whim decided to go in. After talking with the recruiters I was immediately impressed with their level of professionalism and honesty which still holds truth to this day. Now I'm a US marine, I volunteer my time to this station training those wanting to to be marines because this station still uphold that level of professionalism and honesty. I'm eternity grateful to this station for the work they did to give me this opportunity in which supplies me with education opportunities and financial security for me and my family to this very day for years to come.
