Bastante cuidada la plaza.
Linda, pintoresca, es un lugar donde se junta las, personas del barrio a tocar los tambores también.
Hermosa plaza del barrio que las vecinas cuidan plantando árboles, arbustos, podando, regando, cultivando flores. Se generan lindas actividades para toda la familia, siempre promoviendo la salud comunitaria, los derechos, el disfrute. Armamos una bicicleteada en el barrio. ¡Sigan así! Pidan un aro de basquetbol para colocar en la placita.

Very nice square
Went there to see the Montevideo carnival 2024. It was a very good experience. The performances by different groups were very good.

The Parque de Villa Biarritz is the primary civic space for the Villa Biarritz neighborhood and is also readily accessible on foot from the contiguous areas of Pocitos and Punta Carretas. The park is enclosed primarily by apartment buildings (some with small ground floor businesses). On Tuesdays and Saturdays from about 9am-2pm the Féria de Villa Biarritz is open for business in the park: Tuesdays primarily for the farmer’s market and Saturdays the full Féria (including clothing, mates, house plants, gift items, food truck, etc.) The park is also home to the Bigua, a major recreational venue for children and families, with recently expanded facilities (requires membership). A fence-enclosed playground for toddlers/young children is open to the public and very much used year round. The Park has a wonderful variety of trees and birds — absent are pigeons (thanks to the city’s introduction of a few hawks who keep them away). This is a wonderful community asset that is both open and safe. Other than the Féria on Saturday, the Park does not get much tourist traffic.

Barrio Sur se respira el Candombe y sus murales. Es algo muy tipico de nuestro Montevideo que conserva viejas tradiciones y tiene su propio micro clima a pasos de la rambla sur y del Centro de la ciudad.

Me gustó... Hay variedad de juegos para los niños. Hay asientos para sentarse un rato y aprovechar la vista hacia el mar. Lo malo es que ya las papeleras estaban colapsadas de basura.

One of my favorite ferias in Montevideo on Saturdays with lots of selection of produce, cheeses, food and crafts. A much more relaxed place than Tristan Narvaja.

Lugar muy lindo. Pero lamentablemente como en todos los lugares, tendría que haber vigilancia. No en todos los momentos se puede ir y sin embargo es necesario para la zona.

Plaza de muy buena ubicación en pleno barrio Sur de Montevideo. Espacio abandonado durante muchos años, recobró imagen y servicios (juegos para niños, bancos, limpieza y lo más destacado, nueva iluminación). Ésta debería mejorarse en su potencia, ya que los numerosos árboles dificultan la iluminación en horas de la noche.
Todas las reformas fueron a cargo de la empresa Campiglia que construyó en este predio 3 edificios, de 4, 12 y 24 pisos.
Recomendable.

Yesterday was clean and enjoyable.
On saturdays is common a fair over it.
Doesn't have games for childs, it is all green, and a place for talk with friends, and rest after a running.
Grass is cut often.

Lindo lugar, el mantenimiento no es bueno y el ambiente según, unos días mejor y otros peor.

Porque está hermosa, cuidada, pintada y muy colorida..Ademas se llena de niñ@s con sus respectivas familias, que eso hasta hace unos meses atrás no se veía....
Los juegos que estaban rotos ahora están prolijos y arreglados...Nos encanta está plaza...Ojalá puedamos entre todos seguir cuidandola para seguir disfrutando de ella...❤️❤️

Usually a home for the Saturday ferias, this park is located near Pocitos. Had been here for the Montevideo Pop Up Fair. There were so many stalls and music shows, put up for the people to enjoy a bright and sunny day.

If don't walk through the rambla, you did not visit Montevideo.
Probably Montevideo's prettiest park and certainly the nicest on the eastern end of town. Much nicer than Parque Roosevelt! It can be sketchy is some areas, but is not dangerous (in my experience) - few places in MVD are! There is a lovely lake, lots of open space, and at least one playground for kids. Very pleasant setting for a weekend picnic or outdoors kids' birthday party. A gem in the Carrasco area, for sure. It's also a fantastic place to take a walk with a dog, if you need somewhere to let them off leash!

Nice place to relax,Ancap( gas station) is nearby for basic things. Nice place to see sunset.

There is a place owned by the Municipal structure called Cedel, where some entrepreneurs and other persons can place their activities.
Also basic courses are provided there.
Only con there's no control with some vehicles that uses it as a highway, and don't respect the riders or persons that walk over it.

Nice. Love stopping there and look out the landscape.
Love this place! There's a bus stop in this area plus if you need to connect a public wifi the signal is good on this part of Montevideo centro. 😊

Simply an amazing place to relax. If you're taking a walk and the weather is on your side, going there to chill is a must.
Nice playground for the kids and the fresh market is wonderful opportunity to get fruits, vegetables and other little extras for the week.
Es una plaza bonita, amplia y muy tranquila. Ideal para pasar un rato distendido, con los niños.
Pretty place
Pequeña plaza para los vecinos. Excelente para el verano porque tiene mucha sombra. Desventajas: tiene la terminal de la línea 300 por lo tanto siempre hay ómnibus estacionados y la Rambla queda a 2 cuadras lo que hace que la gente prefiera seguir hacia la costa en días frescos.
Beautiful as part of Montevideo’s heritage, it numbers bus stops, restaurants, crafts fair, live shows and restrooms. May a bit dark at night, being in need of some cleaning. Nice place to meet, specially during afternoons.

This is a beautiful park with a little lake with a lot of ducks. Ideal for all family members, pets included. You can not make fires here. We can come in cars, bikes and motorcycles. Great for child plays. And family time. There are public restrooms.
