Rivera Park

A relaxing Park to take a walk or have a BBQ enjoying the wonderful and pleasent smell of Eucalyptus trees I love it!! 💕💕💕

Great place to stop by and have a relaxing moment in the forest.

Probably Montevideo's prettiest park and certainly the nicest on the eastern end of town. Much nicer than Parque Roosevelt! It can be sketchy is some areas, but is not dangerous (in my experience) - few places in MVD are! There is a lovely lake, lots of open space, and at least one playground for kids. Very pleasant setting for a weekend picnic or outdoors kids' birthday party. A gem in the Carrasco area, for sure. It's also a fantastic place to take a walk with a dog, if you need somewhere to let them off leash!

Nowadays the park is accesible.
Lake is clean and you can see several ducks over the ribera
There is a place owned by the Municipal structure called Cedel, where some entrepreneurs and other persons can place their activities.
Also basic courses are provided there.
Only con there's no control with some vehicles that uses it as a highway, and don't respect the riders or persons that walk over it.

Great open space to take kids and have a nice play day

Great place to maka a BBQ, run and exercise, walk with dogs, ride bikes, etc.
Don't miss it! Avoid going during the night cause might not be the safest place in the world.
U will find a lot of green, a lake, ducks and different animals and an open space.
