Went to have breakfast at Yumnicious. Lovely restaurant love coming to eat here. Had the flapjacks was divine, craving sorted.
Tourist Perspective: It is a lovely open space center. not a shopping mall to expect to do good shopping. But it has the basics and several good shops to look through and have a glimpse. But nothing special about it.

Beautiful shopping centre with some great shops and fantastic places to eat. The scenery in this area is stunning, there are new art galleries and upmarket designer shopping. Spent a good few hours here and felt very safe as there are lots of security walking around.
There always seems to be people hanging around this centre, not doing anything. These people generally leave plastic and paper lying around. There really isn’t anything amazing about this centre. I recommend going to the China shop. They are very friendly and very cheap with a huge variety of products.

It was extremely busy and packed full of people. Parking was a major issue.
Lovely, open, scenic shopping center.
Has all you need from clothing, accessories, restaurants, gym 🏋️‍♀️, coffee☕️shops, cosmetics, and many more. Secure underground or outside parking available.

Parking fine, only went to the bank, and popped into pick and pay for few items.
Wasn't crowded as normal so it was great.

The security of your car is yours. The car guards disappointed me on the last visits and blamed me for stolen wheel caps to my car. The Mall is good, there's a good selection of your stores from fashion to your diy. My fo to first for my hobbies. Prices have recently been going up and they are not as cheap.
Canal Walk has such a lovely outdoor area that one can sit and relax. If you are adventurous kindly note that you can make a booking to kayak by the canal and just take in the amazing view. I love the fact that there’s so many trees all over for nature admirers and a pathway to take a stroll whilst watching the birds and the water.

Very difficult to rate :-) ha ha. In terms of products, stock, merchandise - incredible variety! You don't want to buy stuff ANYWHERE ELSE when you realise how incredibly cheap things are here.
Everything from stunning stationary supplies, jewellry (wood, clay, steel, beaded), e.g. Men's stainless steel Wedding rings R20 ea, African print dresses, African beaded jewellry, Men's suits in all imaginable colours (excellent quality, R700 three-piece suit), ties R20, mobile phone supplies, party supplies, craft & art supplies, synthetic as well as Remy human hair clip-in extensions, wigs, curtains (choose your fabric & your measurements, they'll make them for you in 45 mins while you shop!

The only thing you must be prepared for is parking is a nightmare, traffic always, people everywhere, crazy busy place.

Tips:
- NEVER go end of the month. Try go during the week if at all possible. But if you can only go on weekend, get there early, before 8 am.

- Try not carry a bag & don't put cellphones, keys or wallets in pockets.

- There are toilets, just bring sanitizer, not always soap.

- Try go in a group as the prices of most items are a lot cheaper if you buy 10 or more items, plus you can also bargain. E.g. if you want suits, find 3 or 4 friends that also want suits, then you could pay R500 a suit instead of R700.

- Bring some cash. Some stores don't use card machines & those that do will only allow you to swipe if you spend over a certain amount. Some stores only take cash or EFT. However, signal there is not great. There are ATMs, but they are always empty - no cash.

Feels like lve stepped out of South Africa and traveled to some other country. Love how the mall looks and the views around it. Great place to go shopping or grab bite from. Don't miss this spot when you visit Cape Town. A site worth seeing indeed.
Shoprite and bad service.... standing a que for more than 2hours...was very bad... that store need other competitors

Garden Route Mall is a shopper's haven. This place has a wide variety of stores, from fashion to electronics, making it easy to find what you're looking for. The mall is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant shopping atmosphere. Plus, there are plenty of dining options when you need a break. It's a convenient and enjoyable spot for a day of retail therapy.
Lush and clean. I got a quick bite from Spar Food and it was most divine I went back for more. The store is clean and so it the rest of the place village.
For a great experience on foot, you can't beat the V&A. From sharks to penguins - even seals. Not to mention the live entertainment and abundance of food choices makes this place a no-brainer for locals and anyone visiting - for good night out 😎

Never visit this place on a month end especially if it's a weekend it's heavily packed and you will struggle for parking. Good variety of shops however the cheap shops are mostly open only to bul buyers or wholesale, the won't serve you if you buying single items. Mall us generally safe and clean. A good place to visit if you are not in a hurry as there are many shops in and outside this complex
Great experience with nice clothes, food and the stores at large, everything is just professional. I frequently visit this place, it gives peace of mind, no noise just a peaceful place with beautiful sea view. Stuff, workers they just wonderful. Everytime I come here I know I will have nice time with 😊 people were just friendly, meeting people from different parts of the Western Cape, even the tourists from different parts of the World😊💎❤. This place is one of the best Malls across the world.
Nice place with numerous activities to do and they have kids playground and a lot more that I haven’t explored.
Best shopping in Capetown. Everything you need and more under one roof. Shopping. 2 supermarkets, great fast food and icecream, great coffee options, great pastry shops, great sit down dining.... and the movie theatre.

Stop and take some pics on the bridges out back. Beautiful.
A large facility with a plethora of shops from clothing to housewares to electronics and grocery. Plenty of restaurants can be found around the shopping area. Security is plentiful. This is a great place to walk around alone or with a family.

Garden Route Mall is a massive mall on the southern Cape coast and a walk through this mall could easily double as a healthy exercise of about an hour.

There are a wide variety of shops and plenty of security.

The bathrooms were clean and unlike some other shopping centres, you are not required to pay extra to use them.

There’s a nice touch of natural light that comes into the mall as well.

Parking is plentiful and free, but there was no undercover parking, which is a pity, especially when the weather is a bit nasty.

Very upmarket shopping venue. The usual suspect stores are all here plus the high end luxury stores which are not so easy to find. Reasonable selection of restaurants and the more market like stalls are also present outside. Loads of boat and helicopter tour stands along the actual dockside. Must visit venue when coming to Cape Town. Fantastic views of table mountain in the background.
Convenient one stop shopping experience. There is entertainment in the form of movies and otherwise you'd be able to find most needs and wants scattered throughout the shopping center. It's always interesting to see which pop-up shops are in the middle of the walkway and the shopping assistants in the shops are also very helpful.
They need to upgrade mostly on banks not only atm. Then I think that will help people not to go to town to exercise banking

This place has a wide variety of shops, high end to affordable, organic to non-organic, many restaurants catering for different appetites. There is a lot to do as a family and solo. Stunning shopping center, with a playground for children to play.
The architecture and interior is breathtaking, there's is no need to go to another mall because canal walk has every store you can think off. I also love the surroundings around the mall and the bridge is absolutely stunning , it's perfect for taking walks and pictures

A fine place for shopping. The mall has all kinds of things you would need. Just be careful when shopping. Negotiation is how you get things done here, even if the product has a price tag.
Beautiful restaurant, spectacular view of the ocean. Waiters just need to work on their service instead of chatting with their co-workers at the bar.
A mall, huge place very interesting place to visit.

Lots of activities, sea activities, kayaking, island tours, helicopter rides, harbour tours, an aquarium within walking distance, thses are some of the activities.

Oh yes the ferries wheel, where can get to see the whole view of the wharves and the ocean spread across.

Shopping mall from Luis Vuitton, Bally to high end boutique as well as local African craft shops and a good tobacconist!

Pick and Pay, Wool Worths and a movie theatre and so many more.

Food, Endless choices, local African cuisines, Italian pasta and pizza, fast food and of course my favourite Ocean Basket, can't do without, service and food at OB outstanding !!!?

There were buskers singing, dancing and playing traditional African music, it was really lively, we really had a good time and enjoyed the performances. Don't forget a big tip in the box, I think they really deserve it.

A place worth a visit cause there are so much to do and see......
Awesome place to be, only thing they need to fix is the restaurants closing early hahaha but above all it's a classy environment
A worthy visit for both locals and visitors when next in Cape Town. Easy and accessible parking and roadside free after 13h00. The selection of shops, restaurants, and beautiful architecture make for great photographs with no buskers nor beggars allowing for leisurely strolls and a most enjoyable half day to see all.
The V&A is always a vibe, always live entertainment happening. I just don't like the fact that they moved The Cape Wheel to the back of the mall. The view is more spectacular from there, but it's on the far end rather than central. I hate dirty public toilets, but the bathrooms are always clean and ready to use. They have enough security always walking around, too. Bring the kids along. There's a playpark for them, too. Dress warm in winter. it's very cold here.
Very beautiful Shopping Mall which is really worth visiting. It has all the branded shops as well as nice restaurants and fast foods. There's even a Movie theatre and a huge gaming spot for children!

Having recently visited the Garden Route Mall, I am compelled to share my exceptional experience at this retail haven and entertainment destination. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by a vibrant and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The Garden Route Mall boasts an impressive selection of stores, catering to every shopper's desires. From renowned international brands to local boutiques, the variety and quality of the shops were truly impressive. I was thrilled to find everything I needed, from fashion and accessories to electronics and homeware, all under one roof. The mall's layout was well-designed and easy to navigate, making my shopping experience a breeze.

Amazing location. Clean, neat & well laid out. Plenty of places to eat, plenty of activities along the Harbour side with amazing views. Informal pop up markets with a variety of goods & foods cater for all tastes. V&A is safe with plenty of parking. Loved it!
Amazing waterfront setup, something for everyone ... Good food, good shopping place .... Lot of cultural elements in the mix .. A must visit for family

This is the mall closer to where I live. It has basically a lot of stuff. Will like more bank branches, especially Main banks like Standard, ABSA and Capitec.
Wow. This Shopping Mall is so Awesome and Looks Amazing. I absolutely enjoyed the Food Court, the Mall is so Beautiful and they added a 4DX at the Nu Metro Cinema. Canal Walk is my Top 1 Favorite Shopping Mall of All Time. 🤩🥰
So many shops to visit_ if you do not go there for something specific, you can loose your mind....
It is also an ideal place to have something to eat_ with a view!
Awesome place, wide variety of shops and restaurant selections. Very different and unique retail stories. Visited the Spar in here, fresh and tasty food, great service and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Huge mall with all the usual shops. You won't find any bargains here but it's great for a day out and a nice lunch. The Go George bus stops near the McDonald's.

One of the most beautiful places in Cape Town with some gorgeous views, stunning restaurants and all in all, amazing people!

There is a lot of security staff so you can feel as secure as you can. It is also kid and pet friendly!

PS: Don’t forget to get a cruise ride, it’s worth your money!

Prices are not as reasonable as before, best suited for resellers. It's very crowded, not the best shopping experience, more of a grab what you want and go type of environment.
It is the most beautiful mall I have seen so far. From the public entrance side that is entrance no.12 I only realized when I was inside already that I am now in the mall as I was busy looking at the waters with spectacular views and estates and hotels surrounding it. It is very clean with touch of gold on rails and the shops beautifully displayed their merchandise.
My go-to mall for everything.
From meetings, fun activities for the kids, or just a pop in at the Sorbet on the top floor.

The largest mall in Cape Town is Canal Walk. more than 400 stores are located at Canal Walk Shopping Center. movies, jewelry, home goods, health and beauty products, as well as fresh pop-up shops and mid court activations.

All ages can find something to enjoy.

My daughter Chanel and I visited the Canal Walk Branch on 30 January 2023.José was so friendly and helpful in choosing the perfect Paklite Pink Bag for her trip to Spain and Portugal.
I went back today 5 February to buy the FENN bag I so badly wanted.Friendly Abigail assisted me.Will definitely be returning to this amazing store for all my travelling needs and lots more.
Keep up the phenomenal and outstanding customer service “True Leaders in your Field”

It's a great place to be , they helped me with my dstv .I couldn't get help around Mdantsane and east london
It's a nice n clean place especially the beach , there were no broken bottles
This village/mall is quite nice. It seemingly has everything one needs without going oversized like a mall. Pharmacy, hardware, sporting equipment, grocery, housewares, etc. Disagree with the negative reviews here.
Talk it slow and enjoy the variety, chill in the open space and enjoy the people watching. Lots of security about, which I suppose is good.
As a tourist found this place inviting and the shopkeepers all friendly.
Recommend and would return.

It is a very Good mall. All major stores are available in the mall. It is the largest mall in the Garden Route area. It is very clean and new. It has many resturants, coffee shops. There are many large-size stores adjacent to the mall (seperate buildings). It has plenty of car parking (open space) and they are free. It is good to walk, do shopping and drink coffee and/or eat in this mall. The location is very good on N2 highway. Very secure.
By short, it is the best mall in the Garden Route area. The only missing thing in the mall is a childern playground.
Awesome experience, gentleman checked our faulty decoder and did a hard reset/update that fixed that problem - and at no charge, very impressed!
Amazing variety of luggage, recommended. We found what we needed
I just love shopping at this beautiful and clean centre. There are so many shops to shop at and I love the variety of restaurants and coffee shops. I can spend hours with the kids in the LEGO shop while my husband browse in the bookshops. Thanks for the most amazing shopping experience 💕
I enjoyed shopping in Ackermans, markhams good sales I found everything I was looking for
Easy access with private and public transport, has alot of parking space.
It's a nice place to stock up on some essentials and some bit of fun, it has some clothing shops, banks, pharmacy, liquor store, electronics store, water refill shop, grocery shops, filling station, furniture shops, hardware, fast food shops, internet cafe etc.
Love those apartments.... The convenience of just having shops downstairs is the best specially when ranking and not feeling like driving out
