Still a convenient centre, but the constant building detracts. The expansion seems unessecary with an over supple of malls in the area. It was nice as it was.

Lovely centre. Well catered to in terms of your shopping needs. Major banks represented. Restaurants, take aways and my favourite the donut shop. Very busy mall though

The three hour free parking on a Saturday is basically the only reason we will pop in here if we happen to be close by. The Checkers Hyper and Clicks are useful, and I usually pop in by Mellins to get my glasses cleaned. Will reevaluate this review once those extensive renovations are complete

The mall is very empty in terms of shops, food options and play area. Definitely not kid friendly! There are 2 tiny areas with some toys there but I cannot call this a play area at all. We were told there's some renovation going on but will be completed only end of 2024...Still, most of the other malls and shopping centers in the don't have even this little entertainment for children (and there are so many kids in Blaauwberg)!

There's always a queue at the ATM so not a good place to withdraw money. You'll wait for at least 30min if you need cash ( for the playarea, for example...)

Ample parking and it seems it's free for the first 1 hour.

Tourist Perspective: Great but simple mall. When you use the word 'mall' you would expect it to have restaurants, coffee shops, many stores to visit. However, it was more of a center than a mall. Maybe because I am a tourist and I am not sure how C.T. defines the term 'malls'.

However, it was a great visit to Bayside mall. It a super clean mall, and convenient for locals to get their daily needs or fast run shopping.

But not worth the drive if you are living next to V&A Waterfront. It is considered to be basic in comparison to V&A Mall/ Watershed/ Canal Walk/ Somerset mall/ etc.

World class shopping experience, ultra clean mall, friendly staff but didn't see any security which is concerning. Other than that, well worth a visit.

Bayside is the most kid friendly shopping center in the area. It has a cinema, kids area with a variety of electric rides. The Spur has a large double volume jungle gym. The shops' corridors/passages are wide, light, and clean. Ample covered parking and they even have a 5 a side football.
