Desperately trying to be cool and trendy, but in reality is just an average place to stop for a quick meal. Ok food. Friendly staff, but the service and attention were VERY slow. Wouldn't recommend.
All good! Great service. Didn’t try food. Interior and location nice. Basement bar was badly ventilated, too hot (was hot summer day as well). Otherwise seems a great place for slightly more “upscale” audience.
We went here for breakfast on a Monday morning. Very nice staff and it was very quiet so we could enjoy the music and our food with just the two of us. I had the yoghurt with kokos and fruit. My boyfriend had a few eggs with bacon, we really enjoyed the food! As a drink I got a cappuccino and it was yummy! Also the interior is very nice and cosy.
Idea was to experience the atmosphere, all the good spots were reserved, attendant was replying in YES\NO which felt very awkward. I think it’s overhyped and overpriced which does not match with “quality / service “, felt like a ripoff.
Excellent food and exceptional service. The atmosphere is pleasant with great outdoor seating and music that sets a good mood.
Cocktails were a good size and the alcohol was a good portion.
Food is well presented and delicious!
Giving it a 4 star overall and a 4 star atmosphere because on more than on occasion we had beggers come to our table. It's a risk you take when you sit outdoors and I understand that it can happen, however it interrupted conversations and the flow of the dinner.
Other than that, I would absolutely recommend and plan on coming back.
Also, the desserts were delicious.
Cocktails were a good size and the alcohol was a good portion.

So wanted to love Cafe de Paris! Alas, it was quite a disappointing experience overall. We walked past it a million times, but it's usually very busy on weekends, with no available tables, so I was very excited this past Sunday to find a free table in the outside area in the beautiful and warm sun.
The Good: The food was delicious and very pretty looking. We both had the asparagus soup, and the Fromage (cheese plate) and a rigatoni pasta dish for main course.
The Bad: service was super slow and unavailable. Perhaps there is a staff shortage, I am not sure. We waited 15 minutes for a menu, then another 15 minutes to order drinks. Then another 15 to 20 minutes for someone to take our food order. By the time our food arrived we have been sitting there for way over an hour. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, so that still would have been fine. What was wild is that both soups and both main courses were all brought out at the same time :( There was not even enough space on the small 2-people table, so they just took away our half finished drinks, the bread basket etc to squeeze space for 4 plates.)
Of course, by the time we finished the soups (which were VERY delicious) the pasta was completely cold, and the cheese plate looked less pretty than on the photo I took, because of being on the sun. Not great. It was another 30 minutes wait until someone showed up, so we could order more drinks and after-meal coffee. There are so many lovely spots right around...come here if you don't mind having a bad service in exchange for good looking food and fun people-watching while you wait. (Highly recommend Cafe Rico, just few steps away - always fantastic!).

Best cafe in my opinion so far in Germany and definitely my favorite. Not only is the interior and ambience beautiful and charming but the food was absolutely delicious and very tasty. I really loved it and I definitely want to go more often. Most beautiful cafe for sure and my all time favorite. The service was also really good and waiters were very kind and didn’t annoy you all the time by asking you if you would like to eat more. Overall a very good experience.
