Saw Cockroaches roming about freely, the image what 5 spice stood was shattered. Food quantity more so the quality was shunned.. I guess i hoped for more when i should have taken my chances elsewhere. i would give it a miss .. on top of that, they had the audacity to demand service charge..😅
A shade of the former venue, and somehow it's had an impact on the overall product as well.
The staff couldn't care less and are unable to suggest or recommend from the vast menu.

This used to be a favorite haunt of ours, unfortunately it has lost its running in top Chinese restaurants in the area.

5 Spice has always been my favorite Chinese Restaurant. I remember year's ago visiting the Pali Hill, Bandra West outlet. It was a fab venue. Unfortunately, it got shut and a friend of mine mentioned there is another one close to Khar.
It does not have the same charm as Pali ambience wise but the food tastes same to a certain extent. They are known for their Main Course quantity and trust me, its huge portions.

- Seafood Soup (P.S. It is pungent, not spicy. It has chopped green chillies, so beware)
- Mongolian Chicken
- Veg Thai Pot Rice
- Chicken Wong Pot Rice

5 Spice has always been my favorite Chinese Restaurant. I remember year's ago visiting the Pali Hill, Bandra West outlet. It was a fab venue. Unfortunately, it got shut and a friend of mine mentioned there is another one close to Khar.

Not the regular 5 Spice I had known 5 years back. Quite a small place but neat and clean. Staff service is okay and food quality is okay too but could have been much better. Couldn't find the sea food soup here. They don't have a lot of what is mentioned on the menu.
I used to go to the old 5Spice at Pali Naka and it was a massive property great crowd, great ambience, perpetual waiting, great food, alcohol section. But lockdown killed this business. All that's left is a small outlet that's mostly empty - most business is via online deliveries, I guess.
We had ordered a veg pot rice and veg manchow soup and it was average. I've always liked their veg tom kha soup and Nanking rice - consistent quality and taste , do try. The servings are huge - one plate of rice / noodles is good enough for 3 people or 2 people with good appetite.
Although the place is clean and the ambience is nice, at times you may find you're the only one inside.
Wish it were as awesome as it used to be before lockdown.

Worst I have ever ordered & tried to eat but could not eat beyond 2/3 morsels.
I had very good memories of having veg peking fried rice at 5 spice at sakinaka. Thinking it would be good, I ordered from the khar outlet. I don't like to waste food, but had to just throw away this. Too much colour, too much oil. Completely tasteless, just like chilly flakes thrown in water. I believe even a thela wala would make better Chinese than this. I seriously would like to report this to the Food & safety standards board. This was completely inedible. Waste of money as well
