Beautiful scenery and interesting history. Dogs welcomed. Cafe was decent and gift shops full of things to see.

Nice walk with pram friendly path down the main road. Keep dogs on leads as there are sheep aplenty and wandering deer. A couple of routes you could take, with the crowds or away from them in the woodland. This place does get very busy and parking is chargeable at 9.50 in the high season. Places to eat and drink neat the entrance with toilets, again this gets very busy. It's worth a visit if you fancy a steady, easy walk and are lucky enough to see the deer.

The best parks I’ve been to! Definitely recommend this place. The best time to go would be for 10 as the place is very big and you’d want to check out all the places there. The farm was a nice touch, some of the animals like the chickens and birds would be roaming around. Beautiful place to have a picnic and the Japanese gardens was amazing!

Definitely worth a visit even on a wet miserable day in October, the staff were extremely friendly and knowledge inside the house there is so much to see, so much wealth but possibly not as grand as some other houses but the upstairs rooms show just how comfortable life was, in complete contrast downstairs, visiting the servants areas, with kitchen, food preparation areas and many other working rooms
Once outside the house there are extensive gardens and grounds with plenty of areas for picnics etc, small shop selling quality groceries.

"We recently had the pleasure of visiting Tatton Park in Knutsford, and it truly exceeded our expectations. This expansive garden spans nearly 50 acres, surrounded by a picturesque blend of small jungles and serene waterways. The diversity of bird species here is remarkable, making it a paradise for birdwatchers.

One of the highlights was encountering a White Sambar Deer, a rare sighting indeed! The park is also home to thriving herds of sheep and deer, adding to the enchanting experience. Families with kids will love the dedicated play area, and the park's popularity as a wedding venue is well-deserved.

Tatton Park has a rich history, dating back to the 18th century. Originally, it served as a stately home for the Egerton family. The estate boasts magnificent architecture and stunning gardens, a testament to its grandeur through the ages.

For National Trust members, there's an exclusive access to the hall park, complete with a maze for kids and families. Don't miss out on a visit to the Stable Restaurant for a delightful meal, and there's even a charming bookshop to explore.

The entrance fee of £9.50 per vehicle is incredibly reasonable given the sheer beauty and diversity Tatton Park offers. It's an absolute must-visit for nature enthusiasts, history buffs, and families alike. We can't wait to return!"
