Wouldn’t spend any money/ time visiting this place. Older gentlemen who seemed to be the owner was very rude. If you plan on going, try calling ahead to see what staff is in that day.

This building stores a wealth of information and many emotional connections to Scarboroughs past. It was a joy to search for information and even photos of life in Scarborough. I was a member a few years ago. And introduced two friends who not only joined but contributed significant material. Sadly both of them and myself discontinued our association with the socioty due to a certain members sarcastic remarks and sence of ownership of the material. I was so sad to feel nervous and uncomfortable while visiting the site.
