It's a charming little village, but of course lots of tourists and tourist traps.
Typical Mexican resort town. Lots of people offering tours on glass bottom boats, taxi tours fishing tours, taxi rides and so on. Lots of shops selling the same things, all of which are probably from China, and vendors who are overly pushy and aggressive about selling their stuff. I was there for the day on a cruise ship, and I spent very little time on shore, because I found it fairly unpleasant. Friends who have been to Cabo San Lucas before told me that the best thing you can do is to take a taxi and get out of town as quick as you can! Apparently there's quite a few nice little towns and villages around that are quite nice, but Cabo is just the same as all the others, and that's not a compliment. I would not be in a hurry to go back.

My husband and I booked the Cabo tour with Snorkeling.
The boat ride was fun but the snorkeling was so much better.
We were in the water about a good 20-30mins and I ended up getting sick (I swallowed some salt water lol). My husband stayed behind with the guide for about another 10-15mins. Lunch was provided along with bottled water

We had a great time at the marina, they had a lot of vendors, nightclubs, souvenir shops and a shopping mall also some wonderful boats, yachts and people. The whole scene was wonderful.
What a beautiful place cabo San Lucas is. My wife and I had lots of fun snorkeling and playing with electric scooters
