It was my 1st time here, yet I lived here since 1987.
Access is easy, I think plenty of parking, plants 🪴 appear to be well documented.
Amongst the ponds and board walks is a cafe, they make a great coffee.
There's so much small wildlife as well and I'll need to return as it's a large space requiring more time.
It's a shame it doesn't get great advertising as it's a very relaxing venue to clear the head. 💕

Great place for an easy walk in the park. The garden is in 2 halves, with one nicely landscaped and the other yet to be done.

The landscaped part is around a lake that had multiple bridges and viewing areas. There are small waterfalls and tropical areas.

Wheelchair accessible paths and easy parking.

Lovely botanic garden with many things to look around, there are friends of gold coast visitor centre and ice cream shop 😋. Moreover, big kids playground and huge dogs off leash area 🐶 to make sure everyone happy. Lots of parking space and many entrance surrounding the area. You can walk or bike around while looking at the water pond. There is educational park and sensory garden to learn about the plant. Many table around for your outdoor eating, just make sure bring your table cloth and own chair plus make sure to keep the park tidy 😊. Great place for leisure and education time. Really satisfied and recommended 👍

We visited the gardens in early September 2023. They are neat and very well kept. The whole place is relatively flat, with plenty of parking, and paths in very good condition suitable for strollers or a wheelchair. There is a children’s playground and a large flat area. A lovely spot to visit for a walk or a picnic.
First class botanic gardens, providing both garden delight, and botany lessons.
Sunny and shaded areas. Dog free and dog off leash zones. All great for wheelchairs and prams. Good parking.
We didn't visit the coffee shack.

I take mother often to Ashmore Regional Botanic Gardens on Ashmore Road. It has a good board walk to see the different waterbirds and little turtles, if lucky! They all love to sunbathe so sunny day mid morning to mid afternoon is a good time to spot the water dragons and the turtles!

Great spot on Ashmore for a walk in the park. Plenty of space to park, with a dedicated area for kids.
Going around the park, there are also quite some spots for grilling and chilling.

Was not impressed with the botanic gardens at Gold Coast. Our local botanic gardens which is in a small country town is just outstanding and we can spend hours there so I was expecting a massive WOW when coming here but unfortunately we left within half hour of arriving after doing the entire ( what felt like the shortest walk ever ) trail track and boadwalk in the photos I'll add, which I thought was the ' entrance ' into the area around the carpark, unfortunately this was the most exciting part, the rest of the walk was through a petty little bush behind the Cafe backed onto people's houses in not so much of a peaceful walk being people mowing / TV/ general living sounds which wasn't so sweet, was just totally bummed by the gardens it self and was expecting ALOT more. We left and decided to go to rockpools with our toddler and had a way better time. Just way to short and ' boring ' to ever go here.
