I wish I could give 0! The worst hospital visit I’ve ever had in my life! Unprofessional! Stuck me 5x for an IV finally got one in upper arm only to pop off inside my arm leaking contrast! Leaving with an extra injury swollen arm! Will NEVER go back! Please stay AWAY! Thumbs DOWN! TERRIBLE!

Came to the ER because my doctor told me to come due to losing feelng in my lower extremities when I move my neck in flexion and extension. I arrived to an empty ER and was taken back quickly. The Dr Masson came in within 15 minutes and did a rush assessment, barely touching or thoroughly examining me then said I needed to follow up with neurology. I asked if there was any imagining that could be done to make sure there wasn't a clot or anything since I had just flown. He said no the neurologist would take care of that. Then left out. He didn't look at my feet, check for edema or discoloration, no reflex check and didn't assess my pulse. I was discharged. Unsatisfied I left and drove 35 mins to the VA hospital. When I arrived my vitals were taken and I was put in a wheelchair and brought to a room. I had blood work done and was given an ultrasound and CT SCAN. The lack of care and concern shown at Medical City was deplorable and I will be filing formal complaints based on my experience.

I was having horrible migraine and went to ER on Thursday. They were quite busy but I was treated relatively quickly with amazing, caring Drs, nurses, aides, even the billing coordinator! I have had more than my share of ER experiences in the past year. Medical City Las Colinas was as good an ER experience possible. It’s rare when every interaction with a variety of staff is so consistently positive. Generally, I would not seek migraine treatment at an ER but I couldn’t take the pain any longer and it was 8:30 pm. I didn’t feel rushed or doubted. I felt listened to and treated in a timely manner despite the crowded ER.

I can't praise this facility enough. My father had to be taken to the ER for a heart attack, and from our very first point of contact we were treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. All of the doctors, nurses, and various technicians and staff were so kind and I could tell they really cared a lot about the care they provided.

I want to reserve special praise for Tasneem Nadeem, the RN who looked after my Dad like he was her own. She answered all of our questions and addressed all our concerns with patience and compassion. It's truly a blessing to be treated with such dignity during a family crisis. Thank you all!

One word, CRISTAL. She stays on top of everything in the labor and delivery department. Very good bedside manor. Very honest and communicative. Helped a family member with the entire process even during complications. Can’t say enough great things about her. She is literally the best.

Went to Medical City of Las Colinas on 8/20 to get immediate treatment for pus filled bump in both of my underarms. Told them clearly that I was in intense pain. If not, I would have never gone to ER in the first place. However, I was made to wait for about 2.5 hrs in an emergency room before nurse finally started my treatment. It was all about waiting till then.

The treatment experience was also very bad (2/10) because despite complaining about intense pain multiple times, the nurse did not pay much attention to my words. I was given a numbing injection right at the core of the tender area where I had infection. That was very hurtful. Then she used scalpel to cut the skin without waiting for infected area to be numb. I told her that I am feeling pain with scalpel’s touch but she didn’t stop. My pain has increased even to a higher scale after getting the treatment. Her work was not so professional at all. Felt like she was in a hurry to get done with her shift.

I have had this procedure with my dermatologist earlier and she had made it a no pain treatment for me where I didn’t feel anything. She had injected numbing agents towards surroundings of infected area first and then she moved towards the core tender area when it was already numb making sure that the treatment was a painless process.

On contrary, my Medical City ER experience was horrible.

Furthermore, getting the discharge paper took another 45 mins while I was waiting in emergency room with an intense pain.

I was suggested either to revisit ER OR my PCP for follow-up (for a pus soaking strip to be pulled out of both of my armpits each) after 2 days (on 8/22). Since, I couldn’t get the PCP appointment right away, I went to ER and told them it was a follow up from prior procedure. The nurse said it’s a minor procedure and pulled those out in fraction of seconds.

Now, I have been charged around a TOTAL of $9000 for my first visit + the follow up.

I will NEVER go this ER again. YOU ALSO PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

This place is very racist. I went two days in a row for the same reason. Nausea and vomiting for two days and a headache. For medication on the first day, I was forced to take it by mouth while vomiting. The second day, they chose not to use the IV. But kept wanting to give me shots. When mentioned it . The nurse yelled in my face and slammed the door. Was told my blood work was fine. Without taking blood. Was released in the same condition when I went in.
