We had a blast on the Cycleboat. The staff is super helpful and accommodating. Hanging out in front of the Statue of Liberty was a true highlight.
The overall experience was enjoyable and a perfect way to spend a happy hour in the beginning of September. The crew were both courteous and helpful. Love the concept of BYOB and they offered small coolers to store our drinks and snacks. Highly recommend bringing ice. Keep in mind that the cycling was not mandatory, however it was fun to do. Music was available using one of the guest's phones, so we could choose whatever style of music we wanted.
The crew was also conscious of our safety. A thunderstorm was blowing in, so they quickly ensured we had the safest route to the Statue of Liberty and back. Although it began to storm through the second half of our trip, we were able to remain on the boat in the dock for our allotted time. We had a private group of about 15 people, and it was the perfect size for our boat. There is also a restroom available if needed and the trip was about 1/12 to 2 hours long.

We went on the Jersey City ride yesterday and it was so much fun! The captain played great music, they provided coolers, and I didn’t mind the bumpy ride. Awesome time and I would recommend to everyone!
Super fun activity to do with friends! The crew was awesome. It's BYOB, they have coolers set up by the pedal seats. Recommend bringing more ice. You can play music/share the playlist with others on board. We ended up making friends with the other people on board, everyone was so friendly!
The entire trip was amazing! Weather was perfect, the crew was awesome and everyone arrived ready to have a good time! One of the girls hooked up her music and we had a blast singing at the top of our lungs! We brought snacks and drinks. I'm not sure if any of us actually pedaled!
The entire trip was 10/10. We had some folks show up late and the captain was so understanding and accommodating. We were under the impression there was so bathroom (lol) but there was; and it was nice! Captain Lou and his first mate were so sweet and fun. We will 100% be back & recommend 10x over.
It was a great night on NYC Cycleboats in Jersey City with the best views of the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline. We rented the entire boat for a very reasonable price and you can pedal or not pedal. Just bring your family and friends and drinks for a memorable time.
