Lovely garden in the heart of the city that is free to take a stroll through. There are statues of heads of the gods strewn throughout beautiful collections of flowers and plants. We even saw a turtle out for a walk while we were there! Would recommend including the garden in a detour as we did on our way to the panathenaic stadium. Didn’t spend too much time but was well worth it.
Nice walk and surprisingly quiet. Think more to see there of had time.
Absolutely beautiful park/garden, very well maintained, numerous well-kept paths, easy to walk from the Olympic Stadium to Syntagma Square.
Really is a lovely place to come to spend a few hours. Walk the gardens, read on a bench, admire the scenery or even bring a few drinks to see out the day. Highly recommended.
One of the best places in Athens if you want to feel nature, feel like you're in the jungle. 😅 we came here by accident, it wasn't planned, but I really liked this garden. I even visit it for two days in a row. If I would have more time I would come more and more.
I really like all the plants, trees..I really felt like I'm the jungle. And there were parrots, ducks, goose, turtles, rabbits and many other animal.. and it's for free in centre of the city. Cool place. I recommend 😏

This was a lovely break in a busy day of sight seeing. There are so many different plants and areas to see. The ponds and lakes with the different fish and turtles were a nice surprise as well. We happily spent up to two hours just walking around enjoying some shade and peace after the chaos of the city. Some bits needed a little care but that’s expected with such a large park.
Slightly run down area unfortunately, there was lots of graffiti and the park itself needs some looking after. There was a lot of weeds and unruly plants. The main area was slightly nicer however with some blossoming trees and more people around.
