Interesting place to visit especially for botanic/biology/plants lovers.
We visited in January, there was lots to see, imagine..... butterflies in January, certainly won't see that where we come from.
Fairly small place, good variety of plants. However, my low rating is because it looks really abandoned. I saw nobody working inside to look after the plants. Many plants are dying, see especially the carnivores pictures. The outside is dirty and not looked after at all, see pictures. The best place is the cacti area, but that's probably because it doesn't need much care! Really disappointing. On a more positive note, the gardens are really beautiful. You can buy a combo ticket for the national history museum also, which is worth visiting. Copenhagen city, please look after your botanic installation.
Didn't really enjoy the plants but the butterflies house was amazing.
Great to see on a sunny day, didn't have to wait in line at all for the botanical garden, just a few minutes waiting for the butterfly garden. It was very hot inside so would recommend wearing something light. It's very interesting and the fun to see the butterflies!
It was under renovations when I went there, it looked quite good from the outside but unfortunately i couldn’t even walk to the building:(
