I've lived here three years and honestly loved it- concierge and maintenance are wonderful people. I loved my unit.
My main issue, like others, is the responsiveness of the management. Upon move out, I sent the COI on October 6th and 3 weeks later, literally the Friday before I move out, management says there's something wrong with the COI and I cannot move until it's fixed. Maeve ignored me for 3 weeks and after I consistently chased- she informs me last minute and with a few days before the unit goes to a new tenant. Absolutely unacceptable. I have gone out of my way to turn in paperwork early to avoid these scenarios and now because of their delay, it will cost me additional money and headaches.

Stayed at the Marc for only 1 year and would not recommend it to other prospective tenants.
The good: doormen are very nice and helpful, quick service whenever we needed something fixed, renovated apartments and no bug issues, common areas were pretty clean
The bad: very unresponsive management (unless they are collecting rent or having you move in - didn’t respond to our emails about renewing the lease until after the deadline to renew had passed), elevators frequently broke leading to 10 minute (or more) waits to get up or down, even when though the building was “rent stabilized” it was over a 5% increase in rent year over year rent, no AC or heat in common spaces/gym last summer making them almost unusable, property manager (Jozef Pejetrushi) went completely MIA during move out and unnecessarily complicated the process (didn’t review our COI until the day before move out, and this unnecessarily delayed move out for over two hours on the day-of)

I had the most wonderful experience living in this NYC building! From the moment I moved in, I knew I had made the right choice. The abundance of apartments and amenities available here is truly impressive. It's like living in a city within a city!
The staff is absolutely top-notch. The management team is not only professional but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made the entire leasing process seamless, and any concerns or inquiries were addressed promptly. It's evident that they genuinely care about their residents' well-being and happiness.
And the views! Oh, the views are simply breathtaking. Waking up to the sun rising over the skyline or watching the twinkling city lights at night became some of my favorite daily rituals. It's a true privilege to have such stunning panoramas right from the comfort of my apartment.
I must also mention the fantastic management of the building. They go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. The common areas are always immaculate, and any maintenance issues are promptly taken care of. It's clear that they take pride in maintaining the building and creating a wonderful living environment for everyone.
Moreover, the community within the building is fantastic. I've made some wonderful friends here and have participated in various social events organized by the building management. It really feels like a tight-knit community, and I always felt safe and welcomed.
Location-wise, it doesn't get much better than this. Being situated in the heart of NYC, I have access to an array of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options just steps away from my doorstep. The convenience of everything nearby makes life in this building incredibly enjoyable.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend this building enough. The apartments are fantastic, the staff is outstanding, the views are awe-inspiring, and the management is exemplary. If you're looking for a place to call home in NYC, look no further. You'll be as thrilled as I have been to be a resident here!

Had a tour of The Marc with my friends and had a wonderful experience as my friends live in the building. Also met the super who works at the building, was really nice and had a very informative experience. The amenities, especially the wrap around was very spacious for having friends come over to relax. The gym is also well kept compared to most buildings in the area. Would definitely recommend!
Situated well, both Central park and Times square are quite near. There are grocery stores and cafes nearby. The concierge is friendly and adept at their duties. There's a well equipped gym, laundry room and club room along with a patio area on the 10th floor. The maintenance requests are serviced fast and efficiently. The apartment itself has good views to the twinkling lights of the city.
The Concierge staff here are very friendly! Loved the Rose and Rosé event. The views are magnificent, especially if you have the Hudson River view. You get to see the cruise ships docking at the ports and all the planes and helicopters flying up and down the river. The management has been proactive about resolving issues and service requests are addressed quickly.
