Mo was amazing to deal with, however the business as a whole seems shady. Glad I caught it before actually purchasing. Price was atleast 4-5k over KBB value for private selling and when questioned the only thing he could say was the Jeep had a lift kit which it CLEARLY did not, it had large tires and after market rims but no lift kit. Then Ard proceeded to tell me it was also because of ALL the work they had to put into the Jeep to be able to sell it (so it obviously was very messed up and they're carrying those costs over to the buyers) then stated it was because.of their 2 year warranty so when I asked of the cost of said warranty was incorporated into the loan/asking price he said no (total contradicting) so I am taking my $ elsewhere. Please do ADAMANT research before buying anything from this location. Get carfax, your own mechanic and research the price!!!!!

5-star service. My husband was looking online for Jeeps, found one he liked and Ard made the whole process seamless. Everything was done remotely, we pulled up, the Jeep was ready, we test drove it, signed a few papers and we were off. The Jeep was better than we were expecting as its tough to find used Jeeps at a good price that aren't beat up. By far, one of the best used car purchases we've ever experienced. If ever in the market for a used car again, we will go back. We highly recommend.

My husband and I went here with the plan of buying our 16 year old her first car. Safety was of the utmost importance to us. From the moment we walked on the lot we were put at ease. Bret was absolutely amazing and we felt no pressure whatsoever, just thorough explanations and such a relaxed feeling. Well, we ended up leaving with a beautiful Malibu for our daughter and a Jeep for Momma. The owner Ard and Dawn in the office were wonderful and made the financial and paperwork side of things painless. I NEVER write reviews, but it was important to me that I did one of Gator City Motors, because it was that great of an experience!! I'll send people your way with no hesitation. Blessings to you all! Also wanted to add that we had been to at least a dozen dealerships before coming across this gem!!

My car shut down near Millhopper.. Donnie, who had a Gator City Motors employee shirt on, was at Publix and offered his help though I’m sure it wasn’t the most convenient thing for him to do on a Tuesday morning at 8:30 am. He was so kind, so helpful, and felt so safe as a young woman broken down having a complete stranger help - I was glad it was Donnie! I offered to pay him and he politely declined and made it very clear he was just glad to be someone who can help! Donnie made my scary moment feel safe & I think that says a lot about the integrity and humility of the people who work at Gator City Motors and how they act even when no one is watching!

Sold a car with a major problem and hid it, then lied about it, didn’t help, then tried to con more money from selling shot tires, now they call and harass because they don’t like being called out.. bad business…
Updated* they changed my two front tires as a supposed favor when they were supposed to fix the car. They charged me $300 for two tires when new tires for the car go for $80-90 at the most, then they put on used tires at that and didn’t balance them right, when I caught them they tried to cover the cost of the tires for free but then they stole my spare I had in the back and replaced it with a smaller one… horrible dealership and will be spamming this review in more detail everywhere including BBB, and the newspaper.
Original review* They purposely buy and sell lemons. They sold me a car with a legitimate expensive problem, they reset the cars computer so when I got it no codes blinked till a week later. Then when you go get it fixed by them they do it again and charge you for nothing. Now im stuck with taking my car to another mechanic to put down almost 2grand down to fix the car they sold me. Horrible business and will send this info to the BBB and give this to friends that work for the Gainesville, Ocala and The Villages newspapers.
