Ah Hong Kopitiam

Ah Hong Kopitiam is a hidden gem that effortlessly transports you to a world of nostalgic charm and tranquility. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by an ambiance that felt like a warm embrace, a delightful fusion of tradition and comfort.

First time visit after searching from Google, food is good (we did not order any main dishes though) and affordable. Very good and attentive service from one of the aunty staff. The scramble egg is off the menu but they did not hesitate and made our request available 👍.

Food generally OK though I would say serving size should be reduced (and also price wise reduced accordingly) to make it less wasteful eating here for breakfast.

Nasi lemak is nearer to nasi campur as the fragrance is not only from coconut milk and pandan leaves. Turmeric chicken was unfortunately too dry. Shop should really look at frying whole chicken parts and not resort to chopping up a chicken drumstick to give 3 pieces of fried chicken.

Kaya butter toast was way too dry. Butter amount is reasonable, though the quality of kaya should be looked at. At the price of 5.90, for 2 pieces of toast, it can be much better.

Mee Siam not nice at all. The tea also a disappointment. Roti Sambal not bad

I like the place very much. Ordered the Kaya Toast and I really appreciate how well and evenly spread both the kaya and butter were. Unlike many places in Singapore, they just scope and dump the whole entire piece.of butter. Also ordered the Lao Shu Fen and it was nice and not too large.

Havent been here for at least 3 years. The newly renovated place is so airy! Food quality is good, portion is big! Price is a little on the high side though but still worth it.
